La verdad un hotel muy único de mis mejores experiencias de viaje, súper bonito, detalles increíbles como el proyector en el cuarto
Que me tuve que salir!!! Me encantó el hotel.
Beautifully landscaped to respect the natural environment. The entire resort is designed for relaxation - meandering walking paths, many little sitting spaces sprinkled about the gardens, fir pits. Exceptionally dog friendly. Great breakfast included but also additional items available. It appears all the villas and cabins have lovely views. We stayed in 7 and it has a fire pit extending out on a boardwalk from the cabin. We stayed an extra night and were moved to Villa 11 which has a separate bedroom and kitchen, living room with a private garden with fire pit. We booked this last minute and got a fantastic deal from this site.
Little things for management to consider: the rain showers are more annoying than luxurious. As with all of this type, if you don't want to wash you hair you have to only be ½ under, and unless it is a very strong and large volume flow it is too weak to really enjoy. These heads are so high the experience comes off as meh. Couldn't find the bedside light switch so had to get out of bed to turn it on and off. The projector is a fun idea but couldn't get it to work. No hair dryer. I was sitting in the afternoon in one of the little gazebos trying to be 'contemplative' and the music loudly coming from the empty outdoor bar area was blasting upbeat party music like 'Freak Out'. Maybe tone down the music in the daytime to allow guests to relax and turn it up later to 'get the party started'? Loved the dog focus as we had our doodle with us. Here's a suggestion - give dog welcome kit with a dog blanket, a dark coloured dog towel to wipe off paws, a couple dog bowls and a few treats. The above didn't take away from a wonderful experience. Just things I would want to know as a manger for improvement ideas.
Me encantó la atención, el desayuno es riquísimo, las habitaciones están en un muy buen estado y bonitas! En general el lugar es muy bonito!
Que no nos tendieron la cama en la limpieza de la villa.
LA ATENCIÓN AL CLIENTE
Absolutamente nada
To start with, the grounds are stunning. The landscaping is serene and superb. There are fields of lavender and sage. There is a little fairy garden. There is a walk with sayings in Spanish and English. The room was clean and had a very nice view. The staff was very attentive. The view from the pool was really nice (but caveats, below). The restaurant was excellent but expensive, and the breakfast restrictions for guests were strange (see below).
There were lots of little things that were strange. The "superior cabin" had almost no storage space; no dresser, just one small closet with a few hangars. We had to live out of our suitcases, which I don't prefer. The pool was murky and very cold. The jacuzzi was only heated by request, and took about 45 minutes lead time to heat. Oddly, you could not charge anything to your room, everything had to be paid for at the moment. Breakfast options for guests were odd. You had a choice of two rather specific egg dishes. You got free refills on coffee but only one little teabag ("free") if you wanted tea; they ask you to pay for a second cup. I found it rather stingy and would much have preferred a "per diem" so I could choose a wider selection. Finally the toilet in our room clogged at the slightest provocation, and refilled very slowly.
Everything was amazing, great service, amenities were top notch. We loved it!
Everything was beyond perfect!
Tido excelente
No había tina
Our room was not what I expected We stayed in Vella 12 what was called the master suite one of the walls needed some major painting and the view was A stack of plywood Zerro out of 10
The restaurant was the best part
The first loft/room was big, had quite a bit of light and the architecture was interesting. We booked a select, king room.
I found the place unhygienic and smells were covered by plug in deodorizers. First night was impossible to sleep due to leaky AC and the water leaked made us allergic Cleaning and maintenance was requested. When returning later in the day AC was still leaking and we were moved to another area. It was the last thing they could offer they said. This was behind the restaurant and lacked privacy, kitchen staff walking by til 10:30 and early at six. Wanted to drink a glass of wine and see the stars and staff continuously walking back and forth setting off a motion lamp. Saw several people walking by many times outside my bedroom window as I walked out of the bathroom, I was uncomfortable and on edge. I had to take my clothes into the bathroom to change and get privacy. The view was of the disposal area and something like a shed. I took photos I was so disappointed and sad to have spent money and wasted vacation time I could have spent at a better place at a more private cleaner place. My clothes smell of those chemical plug ins used to mask smells, two in each loft we stayed in! I believe I should get a refund.
We loved the breakfast included and the fire pit.
The jacuzzi was up a lot of stairs and took a long time to heat.
Wonderful restaurant on site with beautiful live music, jacuzzi was nice, fire pit, and so were the views from our room!
The shower was open (no curtain or door), making it cold to shower. It rained during our visit, so it would have been nice to watch a move, but the room had no TV. Also, I’d expect for lights to be dimmable for a hotel of this caliber.
Beautiful property!
Beautiful grounds, great restaurant, pleasant staff and comfortable accommodations
Nothing
The room was nice and the property is in a really nice location. Breakfast was good, though dinner was super expensive and the worst meal we had in a week.
We didn’t have wifi in our unit for an entire day because the concierge kept gaslighting us and telling us that it actually works, or that it was the weather. It took almost 24 hours of us showing evidence repeatedly for them to agree to call a technician and figure out that the issue was an unplugged router. The hotel explained that the wifi often doesn’t work anyways, so do with that what you will. When we arrived half of the unit was soaking wet with cleaning supplies which got all over my baby. There was an empty beer bottle sitting on the patio. The water filtration system wasn’t working. The water in the kitchen sink didn’t get hot and no dishwasher so had to wash dishes in the bathroom. The “kitchen” was completely bare-no forks or knives, no freezer, None of the equipment in the gym was usable. There is no tv and just a projector, which was nice but complicated to set up (not to mention the projector requires wifi to work). Nothing was explained in the welcome book, which just contains spa treatments and tour bookings. The door made a couple loud beeps every time we opened it (even from the inside), which was really inconvenient with a sleeping baby. The worst part is that we booked a loft thinking that would be best for the views, but they gave us the unit next to the road, so half of our view was of the fence and road. There were always people walking along the road right next to our window so it was sometimes loud and there was no privacy if we kept the blinds open. I wish would have booked a
Bonitas instalaciones, personal atento y agradable, comodidad ,vistas, tranquilidad.
Nice rooms and good food in the restaurant
Dogs barking all night long
The breakfast, live music, outdoor fireplace & the room overall was great.
The eco friendly restrooms. Just not use to throwing TP in the trash. Plus there was an odor that came through the drains.
Clean, beautiful property! Amazing views! Great, attentive staff.
We travelled into the area after a rain storm and the roads were REALLY rutted. You drive through dirt road to get to and from the property. I think in good weather this would not have been an issue.
Location, view, staff, spa all amenities are first class. Staff is excellent
Hard to find
el servicio y el hotel es muy lindo
toallas sucias en un par de ocasiones
This place is a gem in the crowded hotel landscape of Valle de Guadalupe. Each room is its little cabin with a view and a private deck. The walkable gardens are delightful. Salvia Blanca, the restaurant is very good. There is live music (not loud!) everyday. Service is impeccable. It makes for an experience to remember.
We were there mid-week and there were a couple of items that were not available on the menu.
clean nice view and comfortable great place to relax
Great facility good restaurant.
Our cabin/ room was small for the price we paid

Clean, and romantic.
Advertisement showed a projector in our room and it was non existent in our room. False advertisement if you ask me.
beautiful valley to visit . the rooms are on the smaller side also no window opens to outside for fresh air. resturant was amazing with great food and staff are nice
This is a wonderful place. It is the ideal location to enjoy peace, and tranquility. The staff is very professional, responsive and attentive.
Live music 👌
Such a beautiful resort and wonderful restaurant. Absolutely beautiful
Great property, beautiful views. Needs better cleaning, but overall, it was a good place.
Beautiful property, after checking in we went to the pool and hot tub with great views. Then at night we dine at the outdoor restaurant (salmon and octopus) and a guitarist was playing and singing nice smooth music. After checking out we went for the included breakfast to Salvia Blanca restaurant and finish with a delicious french toast.
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The breakfast that is included was amazing, the pool has beautiful views and we really enjoyed the fire pits at night.
Expected better pool area
Staff, pool, room was fantastic. The views from the room was so peaceful with white sage, lavender and rosemary planted through out the property really set relaxing setting. The masseuse, live music in the evening and the food on premise was A grade 10/10. I would definitely come back. If you press me on to nippick on something. - I would probably say we needed more hangers in the room and Gym needs some updating but extremely minor in my eyes.
Great hotel with a delicious restaurant and kind staff!
Beautiful place
Great stay! Kind staff
Besides the beauty of the property, the staff was awesome. Jaime, Viridiana, Ricardo, Laura, Julio, Leo, Javier, Adrian, Edgar, and Christian were very accommodating. They happily answered our questions before and during our stay. They kindly helped up with our Spanish and made every moment memorable. The bungalow was clean; the views were breath taking; the food at Salvia Blanca was amazing. Highly recommend. I will be back. Drive a car that can handle dirty roads.
Beautiful resort. Great service. Amazing on-site restaurant.
Good
The rooms, breakfast, gym and pool are wonderful.
We had an excellent stay!! The staff was wonderful, food delicious, room with a GORGEOUS view, 10-15min drive to all popular restaurants, feels secluded, gorgeous clean pool and gym facilities, wished we stayed longer!!
The property is built into the hillside, lots of steps. Would not recommend to anyone with limited mobility or in a wheelchair.
The room was very nice and clean with a great view. Food at salvia blanca was excellent and convenient having it a few steps from the room. Also enjoyed visiting the sanctuary the owner has! Would definitely come back!
A wonderful place with great service the restaurant was excellent, and the staff was too
This property feature beautiful landscape with lavender and local flowers and family to table vegetable and herb that is used in their restaurant. The restaurant on onsite is great and convenient. The pool /gym / spa view of the valle is beautiful. Great sunset and rise . Is room is set up to offer it guests and private view of the grounds and space to chill after a day wine tasting.

Amazing place!! Staff, service is superb....Plus food,.drinks, music and views are superb.
Excellent place to stay 👍👍👍👍
The Valle de Guadalupe wine region is still in its infancy but quickly expanding. If you ever thought about buying land and planting your own vineyard, now is the time here. In general it feels like they are still trying to figure out what grape varietal grows best in what areas of the valley here. But the wines are still enjoyable to drink and the food offerings are simply amazing; from the Troika food truck at Vena Cava to Fauna restaurant at Bruma. Exceptional. And don’t forget to change it up a little with some exquisite mezcal cocktails at the garlic-shaped building of Bloodlust. Hotel Contemplación is a beautiful property that feels like it is in the center of everything in the Valley. The modern individual cabins are fully-stocked and situated on a hill overlooking the valley with rocks, natural vegetation, and vineyards running through them with well-lit pathways up to the pool (with an amazing view), or down to the restaurant. Aside from the massive amounts of birds singing and an occasional dog barking in the distance, the nights here are very quiet, and stars are extremely vibrant. The property is gated-in with a security guard at the entrance and another walking the property, so we felt 100% safe here for anyone who is concerned about that. But quite honestly, we saw nothing on our trip that made us feel uneasy. The staff were super-friendly. Plan a trip to Valle for a few days (weekdays are much less crowded than the weekends), and stay at Contemplación.
Loved how beautiful everything is set up
Liked everything
Great location very peaceful the downfall not too many foods option no T.V had a projector, but the sound system was not working and outside firepit was not working. but again, location the staff was outstanding.
Awesome property. Beautiful view and great customer seevice. Need a better wifi.
We love this property for all the beautiful touches and amazing staff. The rooms are great. Really enjoyed the projector and coffee maker with fresh ground beans. The restaurant has amazing food for both breakfast and dinner. And this property isn’t just dog friendly, more like dog welcoming and encouraged. Even having their own dogs on staff and a dog sanctuary. Well done! We have been back many times and will continue to return.
Beautiful views, clean, and comfortable.
Great value, wonderful staff, exceptionally attentive
Cabin is beautiful, stunning views, bathroom in need of maintenance on ceilings
Service was not good, staff kinda rude no detail attention, cleaning service very poor and badly done
Property and staff were all fantastic! The area is beautiful and has to much to explore in close proximity. Would highly recommend. Messages were great, food was excellent and again, staff was amazing! We will be back!!
