Location was excellent
Rooms were minimalist especially for what your paying 450 plus a night
Eccellente
The room was spacious and the balcony was a luxury in NYC Everything one wants to do is around Bedford St that is a good 15 min walk or a subway ride to the next station. Grocery store is across. We were here during the US open and the whole of Manhattan seemed to be sold out with exorbitant prices. This was a good find amongst that. The parks are walkable 20 mins away.
The hotel though connected by subway right outside is still not in an exciting location. No views from the room with Balcony. Not the most exciting part of Brooklyn.
Location is excellent
Bed uncomfortable
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby was stylish, and had great ambiance. Service, especially Chandler, at the front desk was excellent. Breakfast was tasty.
All was good.
The proximity to subway was perfect. Williamsburg was easy access to upper/mid Manhattan and had so many cool places to see. I love the comfort and design of the hotel too upscale without feeling The hotel itself is a perfect location for Brooklyn activities without being too close to the overly stimulating DT or Manhattan itself.
Honestly nothing to add to that I didn’t get to see the pool but would like to next time.
Clean, spacious, prime location!
Nothing maybe just pool hours
The staff. The location.
Nothing.
Bar closed early. Nobody to help with luggage
Staff, decent size room, easy parking
Overpriced, rooms needed some TLC
Extremely loud music blasting from the rooftop makes it impossible to relax, even in the surrounding residential area. The staff was rude and aggressive when politely asked to lower the volume instead of trying to resolve the issue. The property also looked surprisingly dirty and poorly maintained in general, especially for a hotel at this price point. Between the excessive rooftop noise, rude treatment, and overall condition of the property, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful or relaxing stay in Williamsburg.

all except some individuals,Dear Hotel Team, I am following up about my wife’s new sleepwear set (matching top and pants), which went missing from our room on Sunday morning or afternoon. She wore it only once, on Saturday night. We searched the room, bathroom, and laundry area, but we could not find it. A hotel staff member also came and searched under the bed, but unfortunately it was not found. We are wondering if the cleaner who cleaned our room on Sunday may have seen the sleepwear or knows where it was placed. Could you please check with the cleaner and ask if they remember seeing or moving it? We would really appreciate your help in finding it, as it is brand new and my wife had only worn it once. Thank you very much for your assistance. Kind regards,
Love the rooms and peaceful atmosphere. The pool is my favorite! Anaisa has helped me a few times and she is wonderful!
Pool area and pool Resturant and Bar area was very pleasant. All staff were hospitable and attentive to good service
On two occasions my room did not receive a cleaning service. The air con was faulty and had to be reset. I am still awaiting a refund of the deposit paid at the beginning of my stay for incidental charges - it has been 3 days since I have left the hotel - this is not acceptable.
Pool: What a bad choice this hotel was. They advertised a rooftop pool which is the main reason we chose to stay here as we were traveling with kids (6 &7). Come to find out the pool only allows children there from 9a-1p, then you must be 21+ anytime after that. We went to the pool on day one, and it didn't open until noon due to "chemical imbalance". If your pool hours start at 9am, you don't wait until last minute to check the levels. They also didn't update anyone and gave no information as to when it may be ready. We spoke with the front desk and they are not affiliated with the pool and restaurant so they were of no help. Day two we got there right at 9, and they opened at 9:30. There's lounge chairs but every single one was reserved and unavailable when we arrived at opening. There is almost no shade either. No umbrella tables. They allow guests from all over to use the pool by purchasing a 4 hour pool pass and they seemed to take all the chairs. Hotel guests should have option to get a chair. Room: Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed in the bathroom was a filthy toilet. The area was so large and obvious (appeared to be large area of dried blood or stool), it made us think there waa no possible way it was cleaned, because it couldnt be missed. That made us uncomfortable with remainder of the room and how dirty it was. The refrigerator was broken so they brought up another one and put it in the corner of the room. Area: Not the safest area to walk with children. Busy road and trash everywhere
Exceptional Service from Manager Rosalie This was my third stay at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. The property has become one of my favorite places to stay in Brooklyn, and a major reason I continue returning is the consistently excellent guest service. I especially want to recognize Rosalie, the manager, for the exceptional service she provides every time I visit. By my third stay, she already knows me by name and recognizes me as a returning guest. That kind of personal acknowledgment makes a tremendous difference and is exactly what hospitality should feel like. Rosalie also consistently recognizes my IHG One Rewards Platinum status and, whenever availability permits, has graciously provided a room upgrade. I truly appreciate that she makes an effort to recognize loyalty rather than treating it as simply another status on a reservation. Between the stylish property, the balcony, the pool and outdoor lounge area, and—most importantly—the outstanding service from people like Rosalie, Hotel Indigo Williamsburg continues to give me a reason to return. Thank you, Rosalie, for always making me feel recognized and welcomed as a returning guest. I look forward to my next stay.
Nice hotel, updated rooms.
Check in ran very late. Did not get into my room until 3:45 despite being told at 2pm my room was almost ready. Requested early check in the day before due to arriving for a wedding. They turned our key cards off at 10:20am despite check out being at 11am!! Ran into multiple guests in the elevator having the same issue. Couldn’t get up the elevator without a working card, let alone into the room. Had to go to the desk to get our cards reactivated. Absolutely a ridiculous practice confirmed by the front desk “oh yes we deactivate them a little early” WHY? Creates more work for the hotel and a lot of frustration for guests.
Nice rooftop and pool
Our room wasn’t ready until an hour after check in no small compensation was offered, and the staff was not very welcoming. There was also terrible noise from other guests the whole night
This hotel was so dirty. Things were breaking and falling off the walls in the room, there were tiny bugs and gross hair in the shower. They also stop key card access prior to checkout. Would never stay there again.
Hotel qui a des atouts: grande salle de sport, piscine . Cela étant un grand besoin de rafraîchissement
The hotel is located in a very busy neighborhood and sits right above the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. I was a bit disappointed that our $600+ 'City View' room had a perfect view of the highway and not much else of note. When we first checked in, the noise from the highway did not seem too noticeable. But at night, when the previously bumper-to-bumper traffic started moving, the noise was LOUD!! All night long, we listened to cars and trucks wizzing by. The sound was so loud, that even placing my pillow over my head barely dulled it! It literally felt like we spent the night camping out right on the BQE! The noise wasn't the only issue with this hotel. The hotel room was a typical tiny city room but did not have a lamp next to the bed. The only light was a large and very bright light fixture directly overhead. It was too bright and there was no switch to shut it off once you were in bed. Also, the hotel sells day passes to the pool. The day trippers take over leaving very limited space for the actual hotel guests. There were a few large parties and we watched several couples try to find a spot by the pool and then leave without success. On a positive note, the food and drinks at the bar near the pool were tasty and the bartenders were very nice! The hotel is a short walk from many restaurants and a walkway on the water with beautiful views of NYC. That said, the next time we are visiting Williamsburg, we will try to stay somewhere in the more upscale and quieter section right by the water as far away from the BQE as possible!!
Here for business and would not stay here again. Front desk staff rude, and why are hotels now charging an “urban destination resort fee”??!! It is not a resort. When asking what the charge provided, I was told the WiFi, bikes and fitness center. If you are going to charge me $40 a day, could you at least have working equipment in the fitness center? Both elliptical non-operational, by the fourth machine, I found a treadmill that worked. Going back to Marriott properties.
Close to the area we wanted to be in.
Pet friendly
The tv was broken and pool was green
Location.
Pool policy.
I have never in my life gave low review on hotel, the hotel have An amazing potential, boutique hotel in great location in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Let’s start with the front desk , I have never seen a person that can be more unfriendly, Honey, if you’re working in a customer service and don’t know how to do that you should maybe be working at McDonald’s. The lobby is pretty cool, Our big surprise came that there is no kids allowed in the pool after 1 PM over 18, yes you heard me right, This is ridiculous!!!!!!! Based on the fact that I book it from hotel.com and not directly from the website, Yes, it is say on the website but we call before and tell them that we have kids and they say that kids allowed in the pool without to tell us about restriction, Also, they have been told us that the pool running by different company, Really did I pay to a different company? I pay to the hotel, The room have nobody to come and clean them, Maybe they should put on the website to clean it by yourself. The pool open at 9 AM when we arrive they are still cleaning and did not open until 9:15 AM. Bottom line unless you’re a couple that came for a party, This place is not for you. Super disappointment.
Honestly loved this hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful but in a low-key way - shout out Chandler. Facilities are excellent - pool has sun all day and has a cool vibe. Gym is great. Rooms are a great size and have everything you need. Location is perfect. Close to shops, food, bars, subway is 10 minutes to Manhattan. Cannot fault this place I will definitely stay there again.
The only thing we didn't love was the coffee pods and machines in the room but no biggie, we just ordered cappuccinos via room service.
The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
I love everything about my room did my birthday photoshoot n the room everything was perfect
No complaints will definitely book again
The location was great for my needs, the hotel was clean, the staff was very helpful and pleasant and the coffee was at the main lobby bar was excellent.
My dissappointment was the comfort of the room. I was surpised that there was only a plastic desk chair to relax in other than the bed. For the price of the room I expected at least a comfortable chair to sit in to watch TV, Read a book, etc.
Location and close to L train
Room was not made up after first night. Then had to ask for service again on day 2.
The Front Desk Staffs are very Nice & Friendly
Just 2 Bottles of plain water ( 16 ounces each charged $ 17.00 dollars is way out of mind.
This hotel looks unkept from the check in front desk, the rooms and the rooftop pool. Just seemed dirty. Rooms are bare bones and banged up. For the price they are charging no amenities. The rooftop pool is mainly just locals who are paying for a day or summer pass. And guest of the hotel does not take priority. Also trash on the ground and dead plants in the planter can someone not water the plants? And please throw the dead ones out. Check is 3:00 but at 2:45 they still didn’t have clean rooms available.
Great area. Close to Subway . Nice staff team
The room was cool and comfy. Loved the pool so much
I was in town to visit with my son and his family prior to my having surgery. I was very disappointed that they were unable to join me at the pool and we were told it was a cost of $100 dollars each for a visitor. Children were not allowed in the pool. We did have finally have a very nice poolside lunch.
Good location near metro. Feels old inside and outdated. The mattress in bed was not good plus door slamming every 10 mins or so for 2 hours from about 12.30 am. Not a good nights sleep! Air con noisy too. Just think it is an old hotel bit lovely staff
Perfect location- easy access to the subway, near restaurants. Better air co
Better cooling system
Really helpful when flights got cancelled etc Lovely friendly staff Spotless rooms We are coming back in a couple of days Next to the subway
Nothing
Anaise is AMAZING! She was truly a ray of sunshine and made my friends and I stay so much better.
Great location. The public spaces are beautiful. The room was small. The mini fridge and coffee maker did not work. Engineering did come and swap them out. We received ice from room service in a bag. They had no ice buckets. The hotel has no microwaves to heat food up when you take away or order room service from the hotel restaurant.
We arrived at the hotel at 8 AM and knew we couldn’t check in that early. However, we thought we’d give it a try and went to the front desk at 9 AM. Anaise was very cheerful, courteous and kind and recognized our reward status. Not only did she say she could check us in early, she also upgraded us to a king suite. It is nice to be appreciated as a guest and for Anaise to go above and beyond. It made all the difference in our stay! I would also like to recognize Abel and Jamela as they guided us with directions and suggestions. Thanks to them, we encountered lovely restaurants during our stay.
Had a wonderful experience traveling with my four year old twins. Abel and Anaise at the front desk went out of their way to help us, the room was spacious and well designed and my twins had a wonderful first hotel stay! Highly recommend.
The location
The staff, the quality of the rooms
Thank for the great service Anaise and Abel!
Anaise was really helpful and friendly and she did an amazing job with helping not just myself and my family but I also watched how well she treated the other guests that were either check again or that were asking questions. When you asked him a question she was gave you comprehensive information and even gave you other Alternatives which I thought was incredibly helpful definitely a five-star service
Clean, Great Customer Service and Great Location
Convenient, room was comfortable and spacious.
Very poor WiFi
A miscommunication with front desk. Getting locked out when it was not time to check out. Slow elevators
Our son lives in Brooklyn, so we visit NYC regularly. We chose Hotel Indigo this time because of its location, which is kind of a double-edged sword. It's convenient to Williamsburg and Bushwick, where we spend a lot of time when we're there, so it seemed like a good pick, but its location otherwise isn't great. It's situated next door to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, with all that entails. Pretty sure its rooftop pool overlooks the highway. The neighborhood is also not what one would call a "garden spot." To many out-of-towners not accustomed to NYC, it might seem pretty seedy, although our son says a club next-door to the hotel called Rocka Rolla is a really great dive bar with good live music. All of this you might be able to deal with, so then it comes down to SERVICE when evaluating the hotel, and this is a big, generic chain hotel -- nothing special, no real charm. It's serviceable. Some people might prefer that. Thing is, when you arrive and have to wait to register at the reception desk, and one of the receptionists seems to be having a long-drawn out conversation with someone who may be a friend or a guest (hard to tell) as you wait with all your luggage, it's a bit aggravating, especially after a 6-hour trip to get there and neither of them even says, "Be with you right away." (C'mon, IHG, maybe send your employees to hospitality school?) Then, when the other receptionist seems not too happy to be working that day, and is basically efficient but in no way welcoming or helpful, well ... it's NOT a great first impression. She told us the rooftop bar was opening at 5p, but didn't offer any directions on how to get there, so when we tried using the elevators from our room -- no dice. A housekeeper nearby let us know we couldn't get to the roof from those elevators so we had to go down to the reception desk to ask how to get to this mystery bar, which was from a different bank of elevators on the other side of the lobby. MAYBE someone could have told us this to begin with?? OR, there could be some kind of literature in the room with information about services, locations, hours, menus? Seems like most legitimate hotels have always had this. So ... strike one. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, but the shower floor was extremely slippery, as if the soap hadn't been thoroughly rinsed from it (liability alert!) and the water pressure was OK, but the design of the plumbing features made it almost impossible to find just "warm" -- the water was either too hot or too cold and it made me think that maybe the guests above or below us were also showering or something. Strike Two. (Decent beds and good water pressure are baseline for me when evaluating a hotel.) Finally, my partner smokes. It's NOT good, we know that, but it is what it is. This hotel has a HUGE patio on the Metropolitan Ave. side (which it locks at night, BTW, so you can't get in that way late and have to walk around the block to a different entrance -- again, might someone have MENTIONED this?) but there are "No smoking" signs everywhere and the same around the alternate entrance. There is NO designated smoking area that we could locate, which seems preposterous in 2026 at major hotel chain. Look, we all know smokers will go the way of the dinosaurs, but the fact of the matter is, some guests still smoke and there should be an accommodation somewhere. That's just hospitality. It's kind of inexcusable. So, strike three and ... you're out. Obviously, we regretted choosing this hotel. We won't be staying there again or recommending it to anyone we know.
My second stay at the Indigo, my favorite place to stay in Brooklyn because of the location, spacious rooms, staff, facilities, views, and easy subway access. This time I was on a recon trip in preparation for my son's upcoming small wedding. We have booked rooms for multiple family members, ages 1-77, with varied itineraries. During my stay, I had a meeting with Chandler, the super personable and competent manager. Although it was very busy day at the hotel, he went above and beyond...showed me around in depth (including the suite we booked for the wedding couple), double checked our bookings, noted our room preferences, and helped set up an informal breakfast for the group. We are big travelers and it is rare to find this level of service - Chandler even called me when I returned home with a response to my email. Weddings are stressful, especially when planned from afar. But after meeting Chandler and re-visiting the Indigo, we know we will be in good hands.
Great place to stay. Bryan at the front desk is very friendly and helpful with our questions and requests.
Chandler and the Front Office team were great. They anticipated all my needs and went above and beyond my expectations.
The property was in a good location the balcony was spacious really cute hotel
I come to NYC often for work and I ALWAYS request to stay here. This will be my 5th time staying for 2+ weeks. This location is easy walking to any of the hot spots in Williamsburg and has a subway stop right outside if you want to go anywhere else in NYC. This hotel indigo always takes care of me in every way. Anaise at the front desk goes above and beyond to offer help and information. I also love the gym here, it has more machines than regular hotel gyms. See you again soon!
Anaise was OUTSTANDING at the front desk in every possible !! This is our 3d time staying at this hotel and she is consistently cheery and helpful and it is very obvious she enjoys her job and her position w The Indigo hotel. It is also very obvious the staff all work together and seem genuinely happy doing so. Anaose gave us excellent eating suggestions, was helpful in offering assistance at different times during our stay.. we will stay here again and again when we come in to visit!! The indigo hotel is lucky to have. Anaise!!
Room very quiet, especially considering right on Metropolitan avenue, 2nd floor!
Only had one bath towel for two people. Lighting in room is modern but intrusive.
Attentive staff. Beautiful hotel & restaurants. Delicious food. Special shout out to Anaise and Abel at the front desk. So very helpful and personable.
Had a great stay! Anaise and Abel were particularly helpful and accommodating…
The staff, particularly Anaise, Chandler, and Abel, were so helpful m.
Our second time coming here and both times Anaise at the front desk was charming, friendly, hospitable and super helpful with everything from check in to restaurant recommendations. She goes above and beyond! She’s a keeper!
Public areas were lovely as were the staff.
Poor standard of cleaning in our room. We didn’t use the coffee machine but moved it back a bit and the caked in stains were not pleasant to see as well as the caked in stains all over the dressing table. The floor wasn’t swept! I must say the bathroom was cleaned well.
Locatie en prijs
Airco was luid en ingewikkeld aan en uit te zetten
anaise was the best host ever! she was so welcoming , pleasant and willing to help with anything. she made my experience at hotel indigo 10x better! love a black woman from infinity to infinity
Muy buena localización, al lado del metro y con instalaciones modernas y limpias
Al igual que en toda la ciudad, los precios son muy elevados
Location
Front desk staff. I have been following up for my hotel invoice, they are just not able to provide this. They are redirecting me to Booking.com, booking.com is redirecting me to the hotel! I need an invoice for services which I had paid for!!
Location
Unfriendly staff. Expensive for the quality
Great hotel stay. Clean, accommodating, great location. The front desk staff is so kind, had a great experience with Anaise
El restaurant. Atención del personal
Ubicación
Anaise made the check in experience so seamless! We had asked for early check in and wasn’t sure it could be accommodated but Anaise made it so easy, she’s the best!
Proximity to the subway. Quiet
Det første værelse vi fik tilbudt lå lige ud til det mest trafikerede lyskryds i Williamsburg. Det helt uacceptabelt. Vi fik så efterfølgende tilbudt et andet værelse.
Heating system didn’t work and it was freezing in our loft suite. We only stayed for a few hours because we all ended up sick. We paid over $500 and were very disappointed. We never heard from anyone after speaking with front desk.
Large comfortable rooms. Very well kept. Fabulous location.
The hotel is very good but the room was not ready as promised and the hotel was completely unresponsive in either addressing or compensating for their failure.

NA
The hotel was nice and clean. It was located right next to a train station entrance so that was very convenient.
The location was a little noisy since it is right next to a freeway.
Very friendly staff
A/C did not work and room was over 80 degrees, there was a loud buzzing noise that never stopped in the bathroom, there were only two pillows and hardly any blankets, there were bugs in the bathroom. highly uncomfortable and would like a partial refund
Someone had a dog barking all night
Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. L’emplacement est bien, à proximité du métro. Un diner ouvert 24/7 est juste à côté donc très pratique pour manger à n’importe quelle heure.
