The staff at pool were not so friendly or helpful. They would forget food and drink orders and you had to ask 3x’s after a half hour already went by. The bartender was miserable and if you approached her she said she’d get a server but she never did. Everything else was great however.

Great location, simple and nice rooms.

Pool staff was super rude -- we went to check out the pool area 10 minutes after signing in to orient ourselves and someone immediately came over and told us we couldn't be standing there without a reservation. It was bizarre, stingy, and unwelcoming. Vibes were very off.

I had the most amazing time at the Coda Beach Club! They have brand new pool deck furniture and added a really nice outdoor screen and speakers that play music poolside. The ambience is fun and chill, and the drinks were delicious. The lobby, pool deck, and bathrooms are very clean. Perfect staycation for a pool day in NYC. Big thank you to Karina, Alberto, and Sim - they made the check in process easy, and truly made us feel so welcome. Shout out to Alison and Isaac at the bar for fast service, tasty drinks, and for being so friendly!

The location was great and the staff were nice. The pool was nice.

There was no AC in the common areas and the AC in the room couldn’t be controlled via the thermostat. We had to ask the front desk to turn the temperature in our room down, from 70 to 68 degrees during the 4th of July heat wave. The internet in our room didn’t work and neither did TV.

Had a great experience at the pool. Franco was so welcoming from the moment I arrived and made me feel comfortable right away. He was just as kind when I was leaving, which really stood out to me. Alison, the bartender by the pool, was also amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The service from both of them was excellent, and I’ll definitely be back.

I was having the hardest time figuring out if all my friends could fit on my day bed I was stressed and I called in and got Felix. Felix fixed every single problem I had and I could tell he enjoyed helping me. A person like that is very valuable to a business. He made me more comfortable with the place and every issue I had for getting my birthday together was handled. He is very attentive and has great customer service truly a pleasure to talk to! Thank you Felix for making a purchase feel good!

Nice area walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops nice pool

Wow.. this was the best trip of my entire life. From start to finish my expectations were exceeded. Abbie, Alexandra, and Sim in particular really helped bring my trip from 10/10 to a 12/10. Can’t express enough how much it’s worth it to stay here. Staff really cares.

No breakfast. There was breakfast last year. This year just cold coffee.

We arrived and although we had a reservation, and confirmed it, a room with a king bed (which we reserved and paid for) was no longer available. Instead of upgrading us to a nicer room, as the clerk offered, the manager insisted that we be downgraded to a tiny room with a queen sized bed.

Be on top of your needs. Outlets (not many in room) towels (had to request) and Fridge (must be asked for and didnt work) as well as seat at pool needed to asked for. Staff and maintenance really helped me get medication refrigerated etc. Dont assume fridge if you travel with medication! Staff really did their best.

The coda pool is my favorite in the city. Great music, good drinks, and the pool is huge compared to other pools in the city. Shoutout to Alexandra and Tamia for being so kind and making our experience special.

Staff is very warm and welcoming. Great attitude. Checkin was easy and was offered prosecco upon arrival. Our room was clean. We used the pool after a night of partying which was so superb.

No fan in the bathroom of our room. Choice of music at the pool can be approved. Pop is not for everyone, and there are other easy listening genres that should be considered. Service at the pool was very slow.

Wow the pool in the summer! 😍 I’ve stayed at different hotels with pools in Manhattan & Brooklyn (Williamsburg mainly) and Coda by far has the nicest, biggest & cleanest pool. It’s so pretty and such a vibe. Prices on par with or maybe even better than other hotels in the area. Service in the hotel and at the pool was also really good - 5 stars. Met the hotel manager Alberto who was so hospitable and made me & my friends feel so welcome / welcome to come back. Will definitely return again and highly recommend to everyone!

Had such good convo getting to know the server Alexandra today, made sure today was great for us and the staff in general was great. Loved the pool, the music and the drinks/food.

The facility fhurniture is very old, the people in the room nearby were very noisy very late and no one took any measures to stop it.

The pool was undergoing renovations which was not disclosed to us when we booked or before we arrived. There is no room service despite being advertised. The roof garden is not part of the hotel it’s an independent business and only opens at 5 pm

I have been coming to Coda for years, it’s my favorite place to be in summer. The staff, including Alberto, is incredibly welcoming and the service is outstanding. The salt water pool is priceless and the food/drinks are 10/10.

Location was decent. Lobby was okay.

The pool is 18+ only. The bedside table was all scratched up and gross. There was no where to put your stuff in the bathroom. Not enough hooks either. The bathroom flooded with each shower bc of poor shower design. It’s a party hotel and I was not looking for a party hotel.

Didn’t think it was nice enough for the price (although it was decently priced compared to other “nice” hotels in nyc). The room was tiny with no where to put anything. The bathroom and shower were spacious and nice. The pool area was weird - you had to “check in” and they asked everytime if I had made a reservation for the pool in advance. It was as if the staff were told to make it seem really exclusive. Didn’t like those vibes.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. From the moment of arrival, the staff provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent customer service. The room was immaculate, well-designed, and very comfortable, with attentiveness given to every detail. The location was ideal—conveniently close to key place's while maintaining a peaceful and relaxing environment. The pool surpassed my expectations. Throughout my stay, interactions with the staff were friendly and professional, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. Whether traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to returning on my next visit.

Excellent location near lots of places and the park.

Good location and the pool is great

The staff was a little too “chill.” Not a lot of speed or attention to detail which got annoying. Requests would take a long time, need reminding, and our pool reservation got lost. The rooms were also extremely basic, sort of felt like a dorm room.

Very nice place I had checked all the places but this one was the best value for your money. Spacious rooms nice pool area rooftop. Excellent service everyone was very nice and helpful. I will come back and strongly recommend this place.

Mixed experience overall with their pool pass. I love the hotel. I miss some of the attention to detail aspects like I didn’t smell the beautiful scent when I entered. I booked the cabana with a group of ladies. I usually book every year as I overall always enjoy the pool and atmosphere although my best experience was with James in 2023. They seemed to be very understaffed. We didn’t have a designated server and had to go to the bar many times to order. The food was tasty but basic based on it being a 5 star hotel. Seemed like a wasted experience in having a cabana and VIP section missing the overall aesthetics including upscale food and drinks. The pool and added tv’s were nice. The staff were friendly aside from the expressionless Eastern European server we had.

Great vibe, amazing staff, had such a great experience. Upon arrival they welcomed me with a complimentary welcome shot. They host World Cup watch parties. All my friends and I had a blast!

I specifically picked the hotel for the balcony room. I was told they had overbooked and they put me in a different room. There was hair on the towels in the bathroom... not clean.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Coda and always love coming back! A big special thanks to Kent and Alberto for helping make it such a welcoming stay!

An unforgettable weekend getaway! The hotel is perfect for a couples' vacation. Our room was clean and tidy, the pool area was spotless and organized, and the drinks were absolutely amazing. ​The entire staff was incredibly friendly, and the waiters provided excellent service. We want to give a special shout-out to the manager, who did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!

The walls on the 4th Floor looked messy and touched up here and there. The cover to the room key to enter my room fell off and I had to pick it back up and put it on. For the amount of money I paid, the room did not measure up to my standards, nor the walls in the hallway. It was a 3-star stay at best.

Loved the location, easy to walk everywhere we had to be at.

We had the room right at the top of the elevator and it was a bit noisy for my son.

Today I returned to Coda, and wow — it’s even more amazing than ever! The pool area is immaculate, clean, and chic. They’ve added beautiful new VIP beds and lounge areas, and the entire property looks absolutely gorgeous. The staff is excellent, the food and drinks are delicious, and the vibes are unmatched. The music is amazing too, making it the perfect spot for a girls’ pool day. It’s truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood! A special thank you to Alberto, the hotel manager, who provides exceptional customer service and made sure my experience at Coda Pool was nothing short of perfection. Also, thank you to Nedo, the pool manager, and Cindy, the most attentive, bubbly, and detail-oriented waitress. Their hospitality made the day even more memorable. I can’t wait to come back! ☀️🏖️🍹✨

Absolutely loved it. The hotel manager Alberto made sure I had a fantastic day at the hotel's pool. The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of comfortable lounge chairs to relax on. Cindy was a great waitress and made sure my food and drinks were top. The pool manager Nedo made sure the poolside service was excellent.

Location was perfect for us! Rooftop bar and bar tender was awesome! Gym has much larger than expected, great selection of machines and weights.

The pool was a huge draw to stay here, or even the outdoor space. The pool and all of its surrounding lounge area was not open from 10-6pm. We had class until 5:30 most days and it would have been nice to relax for bit while the sun was out outside after. We were told no because there wasn’t a lifeguard on duty.

Hotel photos were misleading. Looks like a new and nice hotel. It is really an old space that clearly is trying to update to look modern. Room was incredibly loud from banging in the elevator all night. Room was not soundproof, could clearly hear everyone in hall and it woke me up constantly. Amenties in room are lacking. Shower needs upgrade as handle was not secure and looked like a cheap fix. Lighting in room was terrible.

The room had a balcony overlooking the street which was a great bonus. All of the staff was attentive and Besim in particular provided excellent customer service. I would definitely stay again.

This place is the best! Gorgeous pool and amazing hospitality. Special should out to Asher, Niyokei, and Nae, who were so attentive and made the experience amazing.

The service at Coda is best in class. The pool is a hidden gem in Willamsburg. The staff could not have been offered better service (Asher, Naomi and Nae were especially helpful), the cocktails were great, and it was surprisingly easy to plan a day here. I’m a neighborhood local and I’d recommend this to anyone.

I’m going to give them grace because it’s opening weekend and there were definitely operational hiccups they still have to work through but having said that the staff was so friendly and apologetic and were aware and tried to make up for the shortcomings. I would definitely come back again. I still had a great time and the staff was great. I have no doubt once they really get things going it’ll be smooth sailing. 🛥️

Came to coda on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time. The music was spot on and not too loud and the drinks were very good. It wasn’t overly crowded and plenty of space for my friends and I to relax on in a cabana. I love the vibe and was transported to Miami for the afternoon. Can’t wait to come back with friends and relax again.

Coda beach club has immaculate vibes. Nestled inbetween some buildings, it gets a nice amount of sun and shade by the pool. No city views like those other rooftops, but it's cozier and feels v private. Above avg bar bites and cocktails, and a few service hiccups during their soft open but im sure that'll improve. All staff were super nice and accommodating.

I always have a good time here. Everyone is so lovely and thoughtful. Good music, good vibes. Can't wait to be back here xx

We needed to be around Brooklyn / Williamsburh so the location was perfect. The hotel was clean and serviced daily by the housekeeping staff.

Refurbishment in progress, hence noise in the foyer. Also 2 false fire alarms during our 5day stay. The beds were very low.

I visited Coda for a birthday staycation by the pool. Unfortunately there were more than a few issues that made this trip upsetting. 1) Upon arrival I had asked to secure the deposit on a credit card The receptionist at the front desk seemed rather new and ended up charging the wrong card, and rather than admitting to it out right ended up charging me for the security deposit on two different cards. The charge was released, but will still remain on my debit card for a few business days. This was rectified with a drink voucher. 2) The website stated that the pool opened on May 23rd, but it was under renovation upon arrival. This was rectified with a pool pass for a future date. 3) We purchased a package for our stay, that included $25 food and beverage credit. The restaurant was unaware that we had this credit, and initially charged us. Again, this was rectified, but it took some back and forth. Ultimately, all the issues were corrected, but it really made the trip unpleasant. The room was small and a lot of features were broken (shower head attachment did not work, the balcony door did not fully close, there were hornets coming out of a hole above the balcony). There is also no refrigerator in the room. I am excited to utilize the pool voucher in the future, as it looked lovely. The rooftop bar was well decorated as well.

Very underwhelmed for the price. Nothing too bad, but not even close to worth the value. Rooms okay but very loud - you can hear everything. Hotel was under construction and amenities were often broken or awaiting a refill. Probably a good atmosphere if not under construction. Clean and great location.

Perfect location near L Train (easy access to Manhattan) and super cool and chill neighborhood with great shops and bars. Rooms clean and decent size, with great bed, huge tv, and nice showers. Lovely staff!

This is the best place for a New York getaway! The location can’t be beat—you can easily grab the subway to Manhattan, walk McCarren park for exercise, and hit up tons of cool restaurants, bars and shops in Greenpoint and Williamsburg. The connected restaurant is excellent for dine in and takeout. We loved the room and felt the size was pretty good for the city and the price, plus it was super clean and had tons of amenities available. All the folks who work there are super friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed several times and can’t wait for our next trip!

We stayed for five nights at the Coda last week and were absolutely delighted with it. The staff, especially Alison and Kent could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our room was spotless, quiet and had a balcony overlooking trees and a park. Very handy for the Bedford Avenue subway into Union Square. We will definitely be returning. Excellent!

A pleasant comfortable 3 star hotel. Good Williamsburg location. Rooms are average NY size. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is nice. It's across the street from a large park which is nice. Can be a little noisy from street chatter on weekend nights. Good value when compared to pricier hotels in the neighborhood.

When we arrived they were doing construction in the back area. They should have alerted the guests to this as it starts early in morning. Also the staff handle a room situation poorly. When arriving I was told the room I reserved, booked, and paid for several months ago was unavailable. This was for a deluxe king size room. Instead they put me in a small queen size room on the second floor right next to the elevator. It’s been so loud and it’s been an awful stay. I want a refund and I’ll never stay here again.
