A falta de qualidade dos serviços. Chegamos depois da meia-noite e tivemos que ir a pé, mais de 10 minutos, no escuro, até aos quartos, sendo que uma das hóspedes tem mobilidade reduzida. Expliquei no dia seguinte a situação rude e hostil que fomos sujeitos. O funcionário Diogo Nogueira foi incrível, porém não obtivemos nenhum retorno do seu superior, conforme prometido. Não vale o valor que pedem e estão longe de ser um hotel 5 estrelas. Não volto, não recomendo.

The air conditioning barely cooled down the room. We called and they "fixed it" but it clealry was not a good AC.

Tranquilidade, serenidade da Quinta. O pequeno almoço é muito bom, mas o jantar foi excepcional. O arroz com as costelas de borrego, o arroz com burrata e o bacalhao à braz estavam fantásticos.

The pool is absolutely stunning! Also the bathtub in the rooms is incredible with a unique design. Staff is ok but not really top luxury. I would recommend to come off-season for a top experience.

O hotel é muito bonito, boa piscina, boa academia e SPA. O quarto, é grande e bem equipado, mas a acústica nao é boa ja que tem vizinhos em cima e embaixo em 90% dos quartos do hotel e vc escuta muito barulho vindo dos vizinhos. E o colchão ja é mto batido, usam aqueles pillow tops em cima, mas ja um pouco deformado.

Se você é um casal procurando descanso e silêncio, este não é o hotel ideal para você. O hotel é voltado para famílias, com muitas crianças na piscina, no restaurante e em quartos próximos. A acústica dos quartos não é boa, então você escuta bastante o barulho das crianças caso elas sejam suas vizinhas. O serviço do hotel é péssimo. Apesar da simpatia de alguns funcionários, falta treinamento em coisas básicas. A equipe é muito reduzida para a quantidade de hóspedes e claramente não dá conta da demanda. O problema é de gerência, administração e filosofia de serviço, algo que não se encaixa em um hotel cinco estrelas. Acreditem se quiser: depois das 23h, não existe ninguém para resolver qualquer problema no hotel. Se você precisar de um simples balde de gelo, não tem quem leve. O hotel fica basicamente na mão de um segurança na portaria. O hotel também não se enquadra, na prática, como um hotel de wellness. Falta serviço, falta estrutura de atendimento e a experiência foi uma decepção gigantesca. Não voltaríamos e não recomendamos.

It’s a peaceful location not far from Lisbon . Near to the coast and a short drive to Comporta town

We had to move rooms late in the night due to noise from a neighbouring room from small kids whose parents were not residing nearby. This shouldn’t be allowed notwithstanding a nanny overseeing. We were given a larger room but it was quite a disruption. The concept of a ‘wellness retreat’ was not met . It’s a resort hotel and children of all ages are welcome . There is a spa area which is quiet . Birds were pecking at the food at breakfast which is not sanitary . We asked for the cakes to be moved once this happened but the staff were reluctant eventually moving the platter . There should be covers. The fresh fruit in the fruit bowl was rotten.

Quinta Da Comporta has a fun, bright, beauty vibe. Beautiful trellis walkways with jasmine scenting the air, an impressive organic vegetable garden. The main restaurant and spa buildings are beautiful barn-like buildings with exposed beams. Our room was 2 levels and was nicely appointed. Food was very good. The main detractor was the pool: this property is not on the beach and so the pool is the main attraction. There is a large sign indicating you can only take one towel per customer - a bit odd. You can't lie directly onto the chaise lounges because the cushions are covered in plastic, and the wind was cool, so you just kind of had to make do. Does not feel like luxury. There were only 2 servers at the pool and service was unbearably slow.

We were terrified to book with all the nasty comments. But to be truthful there was only one other place called Sublime and they had a 3 night minimum which did not work in our plans this journey. From the time we walked in the staff was welcoming. The property could easily be considered a wellness spa as its beautiful and relaxing with lots of places to walk and see their garden. The restaurant on property was truly excellent and the provided breakfast had all freshly baked breads and treats along with great fruit and eggs to made to order. One complaint here is coffee service. They make to order but cannot keep up with the flow. A cup of coffee takes 15 minutes every time. Make fresh pots and fix this broken system. My only other complaints are minor. The room was nice but the throw rug on the floor (which could be replaced for $50) wasn't a little dirty it was disgusting which did not align to the rest of the room which was a bit older, but nice. The other issue is a design flaw as some mentioned. You share a hallway in some cases (ours) and the room across from you has paper thin walls and you can hear everything going on. Despite these little things I had to give this place 4 stars as we both felt very relaxed and wish we could have stayed longer

A maior parte do staff não está treinada para o atendimento ao cliente. Tivemos um problema com um réptil no interior do quarto. O problema foi detetado no check in, já a uma hora avançada da noite. A minha mulher (grávida) ficou um pouco assustada. Chamámos alguém para ajudar, mas a pessoa que chegou tinha também pânico de repteis e não ajudou. Fez ainda piadas de mau gosto sobre a situação e acabou por sair sem ajudar. O réptil acabou por se esconder num buraco por onde passam cabos e ficar no interior do quarto onde nós dormimos. No dia seguinte estava lá novamente. Sempre que solicitamos ajuda demoraram mais de meia hora a chegar. Nunca nos foi proposto mudar de quarto, nunca nos foi pedido desculpa e nunca nos foi dada qualquer compensação. Foi uma pena uma vez que a estadia tinha tudo para ser perfeita.

Very comfortable and spacious room and hotel, beautiful location, great spa area, a short cycle from Praia dos Brejos which was amazing and completely empty, and decent food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There are a few areas that could use a bit of maintenance but it's generally in an excellent condition. The first hour on the hotel pedal bikes is free, after that you need to pay.

The room was full of moskitos. Most of the employees didn't talk Portuguese and also not proper english.

There is no denying it is a beautiful property, the architecture is lovely, the food mostly good, but I wouldn't say it is worth the money. The good bits: the staff was friendly, the property as mentioned is lovely. The room was pretty and they provided a cot and single bed for our children. The room service was hit and miss in terms of timings, however we were often in and out with baby naps so that wasn't their fault, although we have stayed at high end properties before that paid better attention to timings. The food was mostly good, although they couldn't really get the chips right for some reason, and a couple of times the meat/fish was overcooked. The breakfast is great though. If you are planning on self catering, be aware that the kitchens in the rooms (we were in a T1 townhouse) are not well equipped. The hob was temperamental, there was no colander (how else are you meant to drain rice or pasta?), and more importantly no oven gloves, so we had to use bathroom towels to get stuff out of the oven. No kitchen towels. Washing up liquid but no hand soap. No basics like olive oil either. There is a playground which is cute, but be aware the pools are cold (we went in May). We were told upon booking that the outdoor pool was between 22-24 degrees depending on time of year and that the spa pool would be 30 degrees. It was more like 21 degrees and 23 degrees respectively. The spa pool is also only open to families for 2 hours a day. I do understand not wanting to bother other guests, however it would have been nice to know this before our stay. Reception were vaguely apologetic and said they would see if they could do anything about it but we never heard back. I put all of this in an email to them and they never got back to me when they were helpful on email before our stay, which made me thing they didn't care. A bit of a shame. All in all, I would say it's beautiful but not worth the money. If you have smaller kids, it's not the best, but for bigger children who don't mind cold water, then maybe. I would say it's better for adults though, and I can see it would be amazing for a long weekend as a couple of with friends. I don't think you get loads for your money though.

Chemin d'accès à revoir (la route s'arrête à 400 m de l'hotel et la voie d'accès est un peu cahotiqu.

O espaço é muito agradável e a decoração é bonita. Os quartos são práticos e confortáveis. O pequeno almoço era muito bom.

Apesar de ser prático ter a máquina de água e alguns snacks no quarto. Ficaria melhor se estivessem guardados em algum local.

Beautiful property, unique outdoor pool!

Overpriced compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at and definitely had a better value for money, you’ll also be charged extra for daily activities like yoga and bike tours. The service was not always on the standard we’d expect. Spa consists of a small sauna and a small Hamam that was out of service when we visited.

Smelly, overpriced & uncaring - those are the 3 words we’d use to define Quinta Da Comporta after our 3 night stay here. We have stayed at tens of wellness properties across the world. This is the first time we left wishing we had never booked. 1. Our room smelled of sewage. We were in their top category room (suite). It reeked of sewage from the moment we walked in, for our first two nights, no relief. We complained. A staff member came, sprayed room freshener, and left. The result was sewage plus chemicals, somehow worse. We had to go directly to the General Manager to be heard - who then transferred us to a new room, but that too smelled of very strong chemical room freshener - making it difficult to even inhale comfortably. While we complained about this issue to the reception staff - there was no apology from them. It felt like they couldn’t care less. For a property charging top tier prices, that level of carelessness is unacceptable. 2. This is not a wellness place. It just calls itself one. Having a gym and a spa does not make you a wellness destination. Wellness is warmth, care, intention, atmosphere. None of that was present here. What made it worse is that the website paints a picture of a rich, activity filled experience, dolphin cruises, horseback riding on the beach, and more. When we arrived and asked, we found out every single one of these is run by external companies with no connection to the property. They are just things available in the Comporta area. The hotel has simply listed them on their website to look more appealing. That is misleading, and it shaped our decision to book. We consider that false advertising. 3. Everything is overpriced. Nothing felt justified. A 50 minute massage costs €200. Yoga and Pilates are charged separately on top of an already expensive room rate. The boutique sells basic clothing for €300, €500, €600. We follow a plant based diet and while a few kitchen staff were genuinely helpful, others were indifferent to the point of being careless. One server confidently told us a bread contained egg without checking. When she actually asked the chef, there was none. She came back and informed us as if nothing had happened. No acknowledgment, no apology. The pool is good. The gym is good. The interiors of the place are good. The food is tasty. But none of that saves a place where the hospitality is cold, the marketing is misleading, the pricing has no grounding in actual value, and a guest in their best room cannot breathe without smelling sewage. We have stayed at far warmer, far more genuine wellness places at a fraction of the cost. This place is not wellness. It is wealth signaling without the substance to back it up. Would recommend no one to spend their money here.

Uma das melhores estadias que já fiquei. Café da manhã maravilhoso, restaurante agradável, nos recebeu com todas as necessidades para nosso bebê de 7 meses. Foi maravilhoso!

Was nervous after seeing some of the reviews. There was no need to be. We were in the area to play the new impressive golf courses of Dunas and Torres. We found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. At times in the restaurant there was a delay for something through lack of organisation but never too long and always a smile. Breakfast was lovely and the cooked to order eggs and bacon/mushroom/tomatoes always lovely. Are in the restaurant twice for dinner and both nights lovely. Spa is excellent. Our room was spacious and relaxing with sunbeds in the outdoor terrace. House keeping spot on and everything in your room you would expect in a hotel of this standard. Unbelievably peaceful. Very relaxing. Very pleased and happy with our visit. Had lunch at two of the beach restaurants which were both superb.

L'emplacement est bien et le personnel est sympatique.

- On a passé 3 jours entourés de travaux de peintures et de rafraichissement ! - Les installations du SPA ne sont pas à la hauteur de l'établissement, les bains à remous ne fonctionnent pas ! Certaines installations ont besoin d'entretien.... Les soins de SPA (massages) sont totalement hors de prix et là aussi pas à la hauteur du tout d'un SPA de Luxe ! On a du se battre pour avoir un slip jetable. - Entre l'accueil et la piscine, l'immense esplanade est tout à refaire en travaux, attention aux chevilles. - Le petit déjeuner peut vraiment mieux faire. - Donc on a le Wouah d'instagram lorsque l'on arrive mais il faut pas regarder dans les détails.... - Le patron qui avait l'air Français était à nos côtés lors du séjour et on avait qu'une seule envie c'est de lui passer notre listes d'amélioration ;-) car elle est encore bien longue.
