Un véritable coup de cœur ! L'accueil y est incroyablement chaleureux, humain et bienveillant. La réceptionniste, ainsi que ses collègues Zovinia et Marie, sont des personnes merveilleuses qui illuminent votre séjour. On s'y sent comme à la maison. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The linen and bed were so comfortable. Quiet, safe and clean place. Nice and cozy yard inside. A good beach is 5 mins on foot, as well as a great embankment with lots of tavernas. Supermarket is at 3 mins of walk, downtown - 10 minutes.

Seems the space in the fridge sometimes is not enough :-)

The place is very chill with a great common area. The staff is very nice.

An amazing hostel experience! Great location, spotless, and wonderful vibe! I had a fantastic time at this hostel and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania! It is in a great spot with easy access to the city center, either on foot or by bus. There are plenty of options nearby, including different supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. It is also very convenient for catching the bus to visit other areas and beaches. The vibe of the place is incredible! The common areas are perfect for relaxing and easily meeting travelers from all over the world. Everything was spotless. The rooms and bathrooms were constantly being cleaned, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Kostas and Zenovia were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! They were incredibly polite, always smiling, and eager to help. They gave us the best insider tips for hidden spots, food, and nightlife that only locals know about. I will definitely visit Chania and this hostel again in the future!

Very nice staff & Kostas the owner is a pleasure. There is a sandy beach and a stony beach both a 2-3 minute walk away! It is a social hostel but not a party hostel. I highly recommend staying here.

Très bonne ambiance dans l'hostel, accueil chaleureux et beau jardin pour se poser. Bon emplacement, à quelques minutes de la plage et 15min du centre. La cuisine est bien équipée.

Les lits n'ont pas de rideaux et il fait assez clair dans les chambres. Il y a un cinéma en plein air juste à côté, c'est donc très bruyant le soir dans le jardin mais aussi dans les chambres.

I stayed for one day, and for me it was quite good experience. The location is 15-20 minute away from bus station, rest is fine. There are many cats, kitens and in the night you can watch movie in attached building, they have some kind of projector. The outdoor is very good, comfy seats where you can socialize with other people. And most importanyly, the lady at reception is super coooool. She is super professional, kind, social and helpful. She gave suggestions of what to eat, where to eat etc and was 10/10.

Location a bit away from station. You have to walk around 15-20 minutes or you get taxi

I liked that the hotel has its own atmosphere. Very friendly staff who will show you where everything is and are always responsive to your requests. The location is not far from the sea and a 20-minute walk to the bus station and the center. Shower and toilet are in the room. The rooms are very clean. There is the kitchen where you can drink coffee and cook food.

There is definitely not enough curtain to cover the private area. After all, this is a mixed room where men and women are together. It was a little uncomfortable.

l'ambiente dell'ostello è davvero top, ben curato con un gradevole giardino cui affaccia la cucina, fornita di tutto. Le camere sono molto carine, i letti comodi, pulite. l'ostello è a 5' dal mare, leggermente decentrato ma che pujò essere un vantaggio per stare in un luogo più relax rispetto al centro caotico di Chania. Gestore e staff top.

The friendly staff. Kostas is very kind and helpful. The location, right next to an amazing beach amd natural pool and a 20min walk to dow ton which is nice cause the old oldtown is noisy and crowded. The terrace and space. The security cameras.

As it's cool to have the cinema (and an option for free with the outdoor), movies go very late and at 00h30 they're still displaying, so really bad to sleep cause u hear everything and it's loud.

Ήμουν σε δωμάτιο των 6 κρεβατιών, το κάθε δωμάτιο διαθέτει εσωτερική τουαλέτα-ντουζ, ήταν καθαρά και άνετα.

Ακριβώς δίπλα από το hostel είναι ένα θερινό σινεμά οπότε μέχρι αργά το βράδυ μπορεί να ακούγονται οι ήχοι της ταινίας. Επίσης το ντουζ ήταν αρκετά μικρό

The only thing I didn't like about the property is that it makes you want to move in there permanently!

Kostas and Nacho are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming people. I really enjoyed my stay and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. If I come back to Chania, this would definitely be one of the first places I’d choose to stay again. Kostas gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. He showed us around the hostel, gave us some useful information about the city, and even let us leave our luggage there until check in time. This was really convenient, as it allowed us to enjoy Kapi Beach, which is just a short walk from the hostel, while we waited. When it was time to check in, Nacho explained everything very clearly and was happy to answer all of our questions. The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable. There is also a lovely garden at the back with hammocks, which is a great place to relax and spend some time. The hostel is also right next to an open air cinema, so you have the opportunity to enjoy some movies during your stay. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to watch one, which was a bit disappointing. I wish I had been able to spend more time relaxing in the garden and enjoying the atmosphere. And of course, they also have an absolutely adorable cat who is always happy to get some attention! There is also a kitchen available for guests. We didn’t get the chance to use it, but it seemed very well equipped, with plenty of everything you might need, including coffee and other drinks. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay and felt very comfortable there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Chania!

Ha estat una estada esplendida. Tot genial i repetiriem 100x100. Moltes gràcies per tot!!! l'ambient va ser molt bo, les habitacions estaven molt bé ( nosaltres vam estar en l'habitació de 4 persones ). El personal es molt atent, simpàtic i disponible per a resoldre qualsevol dubte. La ubicació es excel·lent. És un espai molt original i cuidat i fet amb molt de carinyo.

Kostas made me feel immediately welcome and was so kind and generous. I’ve stayed in plenty of hostels and this was by far my best experience when it came to friendliness and overall welcome feeling. I will definitely return if I am ever on Crete again!

Kostas is the best land lord! He was so kind and helpful. I felt there like at home. In the beautiful and cosy garden relaxing and meeting people was very easy. Rooms and shared areas were cleaned everyday. Beds were big and comfortable. I can fully recommend that hostel! Also close to the beautiful beach and park where was the best sunset

旁边就是临海步道，可以看沙滩。员工很热情，我晒伤了，他还割自己种的芦苇，帮我缓解。小院很有氛围感，旁边有一个巨大的露天电影幕布，可以晚上和朋友一起观看，非常有感觉。

离老城区有点远。有野猫，我吃饭的时候，它一直盯着我，很不自在。门锁不是很好用。

The hostel is beautiful and has a large garden where you can relax. It is quite clean and conveniently located right next to the bus stop for the airport. It’s also very close to the beach, and the city center can be reached in just a 10-minute walk. The owner was super friendly and incredibly accommodating.

This place only allows check in up to 8 pm, I had ran out of data before my flight and didn’t see I had an email and missed the 8 pm since my flight came in at 9pm I had to book another place. He also stole my money and didn’t give anything back, they claim that they could’ve sold the bed to someone else, but this wasn’t peak season and there were still rooms available that night because I checked, the following night had beds too. The fact that they only allow check-in till 8 PM, considering it’s a Hostel, I find that very bizarre. They wouldn’t give me any money back.

Great location, close to beach and 20 minute walk from centre where everything is. Beautiful garden, great vibes, amazing people. Kostas and Nacho are the friendliest and most interesting people and made the trip there so valuable. Small hostel vibe, easy to meet people and relax.

Toilets/showers are in room with automatic lights which some people may find annoying, if you have sleeping mask/earplugs it’s fine. Shower sometimes temporary hot water but didn’t bother me.

This hostel feels like your home away from home. It has a great backyard and seperate kitchen, perfect for meeting new people. A great place to stay if you’re solo travelling. Very clean and in a good location, moments to the beach and just a little outside the old town. Kostas, the owner is so warm and will give you great local tips on places to visit (away from the tourist trap.) Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thanks Kostas for making me fall in love with Chania!

Kostas is an excellent host who was very friendly and helpful during my stay. There were enough facilities in the hostel for my liking and it was clean. The garden (with the cats!) drew me in and I had lovely a lovely time sitting in the hammocks talking with other guests and reading a book. There's a great bakery in walking distance and within 25 minutes walking you're at the Old Town. A little further is Nea Chora Beach which I really enjoyed.

Maybe a curtain for the beds for guests who would like a little bit more privacy.

very cozy place with a nice garden to come down after a hustly day in the city or elsewhere. i liked the area, because its a bit outside of the centre, in a more residential area. with a nice walk next to the sea you can reach the centre easily. kostas is very cordial and welcoming and gave me good advices for places and trips. good place to get in contact with other travellers. the value for money is very reasonable. thanks kostas for the pleasant stay. :)

the hostel is located in a busy street, but the rooms are partly located to the garden side, which makes it less noisy.

Costas is most lovely and a great hostess, interesting lovely people to hang out with, Very good mattress and atmosphere. If you hear something that sounds like hashtag, it is probably hashtag # ☺️

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, tolle Lage, alles sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Der Betreiber ist unglaublich freundlich und lustig, mit super Geheimtipps über Kreta. Absolut empfehlenswert, das Hostel war die beste Entscheidung meiner Reise!

We had such a great time at this amazing and super cozy place. The owner is extremely lovely and helps you with whatever issue you have. And all the people staying there were also super cool and nice. The yard is definitely a place to get to know some more people and relax after a day of exploring the beautiful city or sunbathing at the beach all day.

The only thing to dislike was the outdoor movie theatre next door that run movies until ~11pm. But on the plus side you can save yourself the movie ticket and watch some movies from the yard lol.

The garden is wonderful! You can see a lot of love was poured into it. Amazing place to relax, read a book or chat with fellow travellers. Everything was clean. Bathrooms are renovated and it is great you share it only with people from your room. Old town is a bit of a walk, but next to the sea, so it is very enjoyable. The kitchen has free tea and coffee and a lot of spices, which is a nice touch. The fridge was frequently cleaned. Wifi was fast and reliable (I worked remotely). There is a beach 4 minutes away. I felt very safe there. Kostas is a wonderful host!

It would be great to have some storage boxes under the beds. The lockers have a specific type of mechanism and a majority of locks will not work. It would be nice if the hostel provided the locks (they lend one to me for my stay, but if it gets busy, you might not get that lucky).

I liked the friendly atmosphere and how easy it was to meet new people. The staff were helpful, and the place felt comfortable and clean.

The owner is a super kind guy, made a tour around the hostel for me! Hostel is also nice, a bit old property, but good for cheap vacations, it has its own backyard to have some chill. Also it’s possible to rent a beach towel at the reception (good option for backpackers)

Kosta é um excelente proprietário! Sua alegria contagia os hospedes! Sua mae e os gatos completam a hostilidade. O hostel é muito limpo e organizado e fica praticamente na praia. Na porta passa onibus ro aeroporto, mercados, cafes tudo perto! So posso recomendar.

Very welcoming and communal hostel where you can meet other travellers. Nice outside terrace area where you can rest and chat with others.

I was only provided a pillowcase and flat sheet to sleep with and there was no bedsheet on the mattress (only a mattress protector). That felt quite unsanitary. Staff adjusted the air conditioning before leaving for the night. The setting made the room quite hot and stuffy at night, despite it being a pleasant temperature during the day.

Saying that this was my second stay at this hostel is already enough to show how much I like this place. All hotels are similar but hostels have their particular character, and if I have to describe this hostel is awesomely welcoming and fun to stay. Most of all I like very much the garden which is a great gathering please to rest, chill out and meet other friendly travellers.

The garden is a beautiful place where you can meet the other guests and pet the kittens that live there. There's a really friendly atmosphere and the owner is very kind. It's nice to stay there.

I am deeply grateful that a strike of luck - or even fate - led me to find and stay in this hostel for my first (and, hopefully, not the last) visit to the beautiful island of Crete. If you ever come here, I can assure you that you'll find a place that truly feels like home. It has all the commodities you might need to feel comfortable on your trip, a pleasant space, the cleaning is impeccable, the availability from the team is faultless, everything is so organized, the location is great and very accessible, and last but not least...the garden (!!!) in which I had some of the chillest times, some of the most interesting conversations and where some of the best and most remarkable memories from my trip were created...all of this, of course, in the company of our beloved-by-all friendly (and quite energetic too ahah) kitties, accompanied by clear starry night skies and the summery sound of the singing cicadas. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ♥️ To the whole team from the hostel, that make this place so special. For your genuine smiles, friendliness, generosity and ever-present availability to help anyone who might be in need. And I gotta thank you, Kostas, in particular, for helping me out without any hesitation when I needed, too. There's no words for how great you guys are. Being here contributed immeasurably to make my experience so rich. Soooo if anyone actually reads this review, be sure that if you come to this hostel not only you'll find a real sense of home in Crete, as you'll also find great people that fill it. I would recommend it anytime. It was, without a hint of a doubt, one of the best experiences I ever had at an hostel. And if I'm ever lucky enough to come back to Crete some day...I know where I'll go back to.
