Locatie, goed centraal in Juan les Pins. Receptie personeel (Amerikaanse dame) was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Ontbijt was duur en karig.

La camera non avrebbe ricevuto la certificazione per le tre stelle, molto piccola, il bagno un buco, senza doccia ma una vasca col soffione doccia difettoso, il phon chiuso in un cassetto, avvitato, di difficile utilizzo ed infine due crepe sul soffitto. MAI PIÙ!

Good location near shops, restaurants and beach .

Small bedroom and tiny bathroom that is just ok for one person . Side sea view obscured by large palm tree. Pool never had enough towels and had to wait when asked for a towel . Breakfast poor value for money and quality - tried it once and would not recommend . At best it’s what I would get in a 3 star hotel/motel.

Aircon in the room was inadequate set at a minimum/ maximum of 22c - couldn’t make it cooler ! Shower pressure vey poor. Generally room was shabby and dated with 1 working socket!

staff are nice, especially the person who checked me in. Pool is great and parking is free in the parking lot so that was nice.

rooms arent very big and they seem outdated to be honest. tv is from the early 2000s. breakfast isnt great, better off saving your money. its 25 euros per person. Youre better off going to a restaurant or cafe. Also there was an alarm at 8:50 am not sure what type but you could hear it everywhere and was super loud. it went off twice which was annoying cause it woke me up. Its an expensive place to stay and i feel you can get a much better place for your money.

Dirty pool area especially changing rooms were awful !! No towels available at pool site . Rooms & bathrooms are in need of refurbishment.

Some areas needed repairs and modernization. In particular, the elevator servicing the atrium was nonoperational, the service areas around the pool needed repairs and renovations. The balconies needed painting of the metal supports

The hotel was in a great location close to restaurants, supermarket and beach. The pool was lovely and really big with ample sunbed - there was always one available. Room had been updated and bed was comfortable. Nice to have a little balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was great and catered for dietary requirement very well.

Some parts of the hotel were looking a little tired but it was great value for money and still clean with good facilities.

Les parties communes et le personnel sont très agréables, mais nous avons été terriblement déçus par les chambres, elles sont vétustes (papier peint qui se décolle, meubles de terrasse en mauvais état), le mobilier n'est pas du tout digne d'un hotel 4 étoiles. La salle de bain est minuscule et très désagréable

Les chambres indignes d'un 4* et le prix complètement délirant. Cet hotel devait être bien il y a 20 ans

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und hat eine Tiefgarage. Das Doppelzimmer mit Poolblick hat ein bequemes Bett und eine schöne Aussicht sowie genügend Schatten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und man kann draussen essen.

Das Zimmer ist eher für Business Leute geeignet, lange Kleider finden keinen Platz und es gibt zu wenige Aufhänger. Das Frühstück ist mit Euro 25 teuer und das männliche Personal unfreundlich. Wenn ein grosses Meeting stattfindet haben die anderen Gäste das Nachsehen

L’hôtel est beau et bien entretenu .La chambre est très belle et très bien équipée . Le lit est super confortable.Le ménage dans la chambre est parfaitement exécuté

Le personnel de la piscine n’était pas agréable . Essentiellement le monsieur qui émargeait et donnait les serviettes de plage . La salle de sport de l’hôtel est minuscule . Pas à la hauteur de ce bel hôtel .

Les salles de bain, les miroirs sont piqués. Le 5eme etage sous la hotte de la cuisine est extrement bruyant. On a ete deplacé au 1er etage tres sombre. Choix entre un vrombissement insupportable et une chambre noire. Pour le prix c’est inacceptable

La piscine

We had a very relaxing stay at the AC Ambassador; a real feeling of vacation. The front desk staff were very helpful and cordial, the leafy neighborhood is very pleasant, and a short walk to the bustling tourist area, with lots of restaurants and beautiful (if somewhat crowded) beach, ideal for swimming. We also enjoyed the hotel pool, for a more quiet option. The room and beds are very comfortable; however, our bathroom toilet had a faint sewage smell. We had to keep the lid down, and the bathroom door closed at all times. One more thing, which turned out to be a bit comic, but could have been serious had it happened when dark outside: when you go to the balcony, DO NOT CLOSE THE SLIDING DOOR! We got stuck outside and had to yell to a passerby to please go to the hotel front desk and notify them. Yes, there is a sticker warning on the door, but I didn't read it. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Le petit déjeuner était généreux et bon

Dés l’accueil, un personnel peu aimable, peu souriant, qui nous propose une chambre sans balcon (alors que réservée avec sur booking)…même pbe au Check out , on veut nous faire payer 2 petits dej sur 3 j, alors qu’il était compris ds la réservation…la chambre de ma fille n’a pas été nettoyée , car à 11h le matin , elle a prevenu qu’elle partait ds 15mns…le service n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur du prix !!!!

Hôtel très bien placé, ce qui permet de profiter facilement de Juan-les-Pins et des alentours.

Malheureusement, le rapport qualité-prix n’est absolument pas au rendez-vous. Pour 1 200 € les 3 nuits, la prestation est vraiment décevante. La climatisation faisait un bruit énorme, aussi bien la journée que la nuit, ce qui était très gênant pour dormir. La propreté de la salle de bain laissait également à désirer, avec notamment des taches sur les toilettes. Le balcon était tellement sale qu’il était impossible de manger sur la table dans de bonnes conditions. Enfin, la piscine intérieure dégageait une forte odeur d’égout. À ce tarif, c’est tout simplement lamentable et très loin du niveau de prestation attendu.

The location was excellent and we were close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable bed. Loved having a balcony.

The room could probably do with a bit of a refresh and the bathroom but it didn’t impact our enjoyment.

I made a last-minute reservation for my daughter after her Airbnb plans unexpectedly fell through. She arrived after midnight following a long day on a boat, exhausted, sunburned, and simply hoping for a clean, comfortable place to sleep. The room cost over $500 for one night, so our expectations were understandably high. Unfortunately, the stay was very disappointing. The air conditioning was not working properly, leaving the room uncomfortably warm, and there was a pair of dirty socks left in the room from a previous guest. Finding something so obvious raised concerns about whether the room had been properly cleaned before her arrival. I contacted Marriott and received an apology from the hotel manager, who acknowledged that this experience did not reflect the hotel’s usual standards and kindly offered an upgrade on a future stay. While I appreciate the prompt response and the gesture, it is unlikely we’ll ever have the opportunity to use it, as this reservation was simply a last-minute, one-time stay while my daughter was traveling through the area. More importantly, it did not change the experience or the value received for a room costing over $500. At this price point, guests should be able to expect the basics: a thoroughly cleaned room, working air conditioning, and a comfortable night’s sleep. I hope the hotel improves its housekeeping and room maintenance so future guests don’t encounter the same issues.

Long gone are the days when AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes-Juan Les Pins can benefit from just a fresh coat of paint. This place needs a full remodel that starts with sledge hammers. The issues are not just aesthetic or functional. This place has potential safety hazards. The floating glass shelf above the toilet that is not secure and leans forward and the high bathtub wall guests have to climb over to get in and out of the shower are just accidents waiting to happen. I reported the shelf issue to the front desk but am doubtful anything will be done about it. It’s a shame too, because other than the desperate need to be updated, the hotel is in a great location with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. We just happened to be there during the Jazz à Juan music festival. This was a blessing and a curse. Music started at 8pm and jam sessions went on until 1am. The hotel should consider providing guests with earplugs to minimize the noise. After reading some other reviews and having stayed in Monaco in the past, I’m fortunate to say our room had working air conditioning. I agree with others that the toilet seats need to be replaced with ones that fit. I love the South of France and loved my first visit to Antibes. I can only hope that this hotel invests in making guests feel more at home.

We enjoyed the pool each day, day trips around the Cote d'Azur and exploring the area - it was so beautiful! Our daughter made friends at the pool and our baby had enough shade to also enjoy being poolside.

Breakfast was pricey, so we went to the grocery store next door instead.

The pool, snack bar, inside bar and communal areas were clean and well maintained. The food was of good quality. The breakfast choice was fresh and varied and as you’d expect for this hotel chain. It was also close to the train station for easy access to other costal areas. Ubers are approx €13 to Antibes.

We were allocated a room that had an ajoining door to another room, so that it could be converted in to a family suite. The guest next door kept us awake coughing all night. There was a gap under the door. This combined with repeatedly smoking in their room, which then came under the door and into our room. Our room was filled with the smell of cigarettes and we had to sleep with the patio door open. We complained to the staff who asked him not to do this but wouldn’t move him as he had a 5 week stay booked. We were offered a discount and a free breakfast.

The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Space is a bit tight.

It’s a welcoming hotel in a great location near the beaches and restaurants. The hotel facilities are good. The restaurant and bar offer excellent food and drink. Beds are comfortable.

The rooms are aged and in need of repair. For example the wallpaper is occasionally torn, the flooring loose and the room themselves smelled musty. For such a level of hotel, and considering the cost to stay, I would expect the hotel rooms to be in much better condition. Furthermore the air conditioning was occasionally quite weak and at times did not cool the room sufficiently.

Старенький уставший отель. Ужасный паркинг, очень узкий и с высокими бордюрами. Стоит почти пустой в июле, потому что туда мало кто заехать может. Мини бар пуст. Только в первый день было 2 маленьких воды. Персонал старается, но они все выглядят устало. Дополнительную кровать для ребенка сразу не поставили. И после просьбы, в течении часа работники 4 раза приходили, уходили, что-то смотрели, что-то у меня спрашивали, и только потом им удалось поставить обычную дополнительную кровать. При этом номер маленький. Пройти к балкону стало не возможно.

Mold in the bathroom. Bands playing until 1:00 in the morning. Helpless employees and clueless direction. I would never stay here again.

We have just returned from a 4 day stay in this hotel. It was our first time staying at the hotel. It was very well located, all the staff were super friendly, helpful and provided a good service. The pool area and breakfast room were both great. There was a good selection of breakfast foods though the staff were reluctant to top up the buffet up to 30 minutes till the close of breakfast, so the fresh fruit salad and other items were frequently not there or only one or two pieces left in a bowl. They were also very prompt with removing everything from the breakfast buffet and staff went around the tables, giving us 10 minutes’ warning that the breakfast was soon to close. We liked the idea of the convenience store to the left of the reception. Our room was comfortable though the bathroom was quite snug, and the one shelf on the wall behind the toilet was hanging off the wall, tilting at an angle so couldn’t be used, which made the limited storage space in the bathroom even more challenging. There was only 1 towel holder and none for the other towels. 2 hooks were on the shower wall but weren’t well located for them to stay dry! The toilet roll holder was also fixed at an awkward angle. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t very effective, until we actually realised by our last night that it wasn’t working at all, and we got very little sleep on a night when we had to be up early for our departure the next day. So this wasn’t very satisfactory. When checking out, my husband mentioned the issue with the a/c and was told that it had stopped working in all of the bedrooms. Instead of trying to make things better for us, they offered no form of compensation whatsoever, and just said sorry. The pool attendant told us, when we asked for a towel each for our sun beds and 1 each for the pool (to dry ourselves after swimming) that the hotel policy only allowed 1 towel per person. We were really surprised by this as we had never been restricted before over the number of towels we wanted, in any hotel over many years of travel around the world. We felt this was a bit petty. If they wanted to restrict our use of towels, they could have offered less face flannels and bath towels in our bathroom for example, as we had more than the number of us staying there. The pool toilet area was really poor for a 4 star hotel and desperately needs updating. The décor of the pool toilet area was poor and it looked like it hadn’t been renovated since the 1980s. Except for these issues, it was a pleasant stay. However, I recommend that the management looks into these aspects to improve the situation.

Posizione centrale comoda in mezzo a ristoranti e spiaggia. Parcheggio riservato molto spazioso.

La camera non era all’altezza di un 4 stelle e soprattutto del prezzo che abbiamo pagato, la doccia era dentro la vasca da bagno con il Dolcino non fissato al muro ma rimovibile che continuava a muoversi per cui farsi la doccia era impossibile. Nel bagno non c’era il bidet. I cuscini del letto erano troppo gonfi e alti. Nel complesso tutto bene ma per essere un quattro stelle a quel prezzo non giustificato. Anche la colazione a 25 € al giorno a persona non l’ho trovata soddisfacente.

Rengjøring av basseng burde vært gjort oftere, når det først ble gjort, startet rengjøringen kl 11 og bassenget var stengt det meste av dagen. Rengjøringen må vel kunne gjøres tidlig på morgenen eller kvelden slik det gjøres andre plasser. Mat fra take-away og roomservice ble stående i gangen utenfor rommene.

We booked a suite at this hotel as it is part of the Marriott chain. The suite was well appointed with a comfortable bed, 2 balconies and a good bathroom and large closet. The pool is fabulous. The location is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will stay there again

Climatisation mérite d’être améliorée en chambre. Piscine très peu entretenue. Saleté des carrelages, transats abîmés et sensation d’étouffement. Le bar de la piscine est vétuste et la zone vraiment pas très jolie. Salle de bain pas super avec petite baignoire, rideau de douche dans une très petite douche.

Generally the hotel was lovely

The swimming pool steps need to be reviewed entering and exiting the pool was difficult for me. I am 71 with arthritis and as I do not have good upper body strength I struggled to pull myself up the steps. Gradual walk in steps would be easier for children and elderly Adults.
