The pool area was the only nice thing

The rooms are like dorm rooms.. the amenities were not clean. Glasses in the mini bar dirty. Kettle fully scaled.. it was a run down hotel not worth the money at all!

Unfortunately, the service was average at best and did not meet our expectations. The staff by the pool often seemed uninterested, and we had a similar experience at breakfast. Water glasses were frequently left empty because the staff did not come around to refill them. We stayed for four nights before moving, as planned, to another hotel, where the difference in service was very noticeable and much better. There was also construction work directly below our balcony, with noise starting early in the morning and carrying into the room. This made it unpleasant to spend time on the balcony. On our last day, the entire hotel was without water. While this can of course happen, we were disappointed that the hotel did not communicate the issue to guests and we had to ask about it ourselves. At check-out, no one asked how our stay had been. We were simply told that all payments had been settled. Overall, the service and guest experience fell short of what we expected from this hotel.

It had such a lovely vibe . The team that work there are all so wonderful . The spa is amazing and the treatments are fantastic. It’s also within walking distance of other restaurants but it’s hard to beat the food at the hotel.

It felt so cosy and comfortable. Also I was super impressed by the staff cooperation and support as they helped in finding an Hermes belt I had forgotten in the room after I checked out. I called after I arrived back home and they were helpful in looking for it and finding it and making sure it was available for a family member to pass by and pick it up for me. I have my belt thanks to the amazing and honest staff at the Margi. I would recommend this hotel 100 %

Amazing place, like the ones you want to come back to. The people working there were kind and helpful, it was a great hotel experience, amazing breakfast, great atmosphere, nice SPA. I wish the whole hotel industry would learn from The Margi. This is also a place with an interesting history which is definitely worth discovering. I will be back!

Asked for Oat milk/dairy free alternative in the room due to an allergy - this never came after multiple asks. The rainfall shower was broken with most of the water coming out of one hole and the handheld shower didn’t work. Balcony view was construction and had a little child however they gave us a room was above the pool where music and bass was played until midnight

Liked: The location was very good, within walking distance to the beach. The hotel has a nice setting, and the manager was kind enough to offer us a free late checkout after we raised the issue.

Disliked: The noise level was unbearable. There was a party next door that kept us awake until around 3am, and it did not seem like anyone properly controlled the situation. Unfortunately, this really affected our sleep and ruined the following day. For a hotel of this level, I would expect noise complaints to be handled more seriously. Headboard is made of bamboo, uncomfortable, the hangers are very odd

Location wasn’t great since there are some run-down properties near by. Not especially scenic. Bathroom was small for the $.

This was our second stay at this wonderful hotel; a top-class hotel with excellent service.

Warm hearted staff at breakfast service and at front desk. The spa was deeply peaceful and wonderful. The pool area was so well appointed with relaxing beds and lovely staff there as well. Just a wonderful heartful warm “vibe” to this historic and nurturing hotel. The feeling there of authentic warmth makes this place exponentially better than the Four Seasons for comfortable relaxation. Gio was wonderful. The gentleman at curbside with baggage was also graceful and friendly. We were so grateful to land at this gem and hope we may stay at such a place in future travels. Spectacular.

The noise of power wash and moving us out of the pool area one afternoon was the only issue we experienced, and we were just so happy with the feeling of this charming hotel and its people that we were not disgruntled about it.

Arguably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. From start to finish, everything was spotless: amazing location close to the water, superb pool and restaurant, quietly exclusive, incredible service, clean and comfortable rooms, attention for detail, and personalized concierge with with warmest Greek hospitality 🙏 Can’t recommend enough!! Everything about this hotel is really high quality and each and every member of hotel staff goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The location is excellent and the pool area gorgeous (be warned that the pool is not heated even in winter). The spa was incredible - really high end although treatments are not cheap, nevertheless it beat Champneys 10 times over.

Our room did not have a separate bathroom so the basin was in the room and the shower and toilet lead off from the room which isn't great for privacy although very tastefully laid out/designed.

Italian restaurant was average and didn’t cater much authentic Greek like would have ideally wanted.

Amazing place! Such a beautiful and cozy small hotell. We spent a weekend there "off-season" so the beach area was closed in many parts. But we didnt miss going to the beach because of the poolarea in The Margi is a fantastic experience. Great food and the staff makes you feel special.

De kamer is ruim met heerlijke bedden. De spa faciliteiten zijn super relaxed en fitness is prima. De buiten omgeving rond het zwembad is prachtig stijvol ingericht. Helaas konden we begin januari niet zwemmen ivm het weer Het ontbijt was ultiem!

Het dinner in het restaurant viel tegen. Geen garnering bij vlees gerecht bijvoorbeeld Bijgerechten erg duur. Prijs kwaliteit voor ons echt onvoldoende. Personeel iets te actief met vullen water en wijn glazen en aanbieden allerlei extra's tegen betaling uiteraard.

L’accès au spa doit être réservé et est circonscrit à 1h seulement, ce n’est pas forcément dérangeant mais nous n’avions pas été informés au préalable

Albergo molto bello con un buon ristorante, colazione di qualità e varia.Ottima posizione per fare belle passeggiate vicino al mare.

Insonorizzazione,sopra di noi (la ns camera era al 4° piano) abbiamo sentito passi e rumori di sedie trascinate fino alle 5.30 del mattino. E ,avendo la camera vista pine trees, per due sere consecutive fino alle 2/3 di notte si sentivano perfettamente la musica e il vociare delle persone che festeggiavano due matrimoni al piano terra.Vorrei precisare che lo staff ,la sera del secondo matrimonio, si era offerta di cambiarci la camera ma noi, decisione poco saggia, abbiamo preferito non spostarci. E purtroppo, finita la festa, qualcuno nella stanza sopra di noi ha camminato e spostato sedie fino alle 5.30 del mattino!Quindi,aldilà dei festeggiamenti al piano terra, dovrebbero assolutamente fare qualcosa per insonorizzare il pavimento delle camere.
