Generally nice and clean rooms, good access to the beach, friendly and helpful staff, large pools with lots of sunbeds.

We found a couple of bugs in one of our rooms however, we were swiftly moved to another room. Nothing else to report.

Hot Food served at the buffet breakfast & BBQ Dinner was often luke warm.or cold. Need to improve on this. Other than that, no complaints.

One of the larger pools was closed and under maintenance which left only two options of noisy and hectic pools so not ideal for guests who want to relax. I also didn't like people smoking cannabis in the public areas especially when kids are nearby so I think the hotel needs to prohibit people from smoking on the property, especially around other guests.

My room was far bigger than I expected, the bottled water each day was definitly a bonus. Fridge in the room and room service a massive plus!! Poolside service was fantastic and the pool bar a fun place to be. Children should be banned from the swim up bar, it should be an adult only area. Too much splashing and annoyance for an adult area,

More potato options at breakfast would have been good. Didn't steal the fries from the kiddie section but had wedges one day and they were amazing.

Very nice hotel, the staff is friendly and helpfull. The swimmingpool is excellent for the kids, the rooms were clean and spacious, they gave us a free upgrade to a poolview room. The barman (Moss) was very friendly and made us feel like we had a personal assistent.

The lady cleaning up the air con breakfast room kept switching off aircon 10 minutes before breakfast finished. Many of us complained but she said it was automatic (it wasn’t as didn’t happen every day) Massage in the hotel was worse I experienced in Thailand (we went daily for a fortnight). Lady made me have an oil massage in room where they do hair things - people could see in through the glass window and they asked me to take clothes off as normal. The bed also wasn’t a massage bed (ones with face hole). Suitable for Thai massage but not oil massage

We absolutely loved our stay at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort. The resort is beautiful, with stunning gardens, fantastic pools and brilliant waterslides that the kids loved. The location in Karon is perfect, right across from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had such a wonderful family holiday and were genuinely sad to leave. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!

Location is very good, it's nearby the beach, just cross a street. Atmosphere is nice and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable, we booked two rooms, both of them could see the sea. We would consider come back when we come to Phuket again. thank you staff June and camp for helpful

Great experience at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort! It’s super close to the beach, surrounded by beautiful tropical plants. All staff are friendly Pomme Ploy Krit Camp and quick to help with luggage storage and travel questions. Rooms are tidy and comfortable, and the swimming pools are lovely. The Thai meals here taste amazing. Perfect for a laid-back beach vacation, and I would come back again.

The pool and waterslides are excellent for the kids and keep them busy for hours! The food options around the hotel are pretty good, especially the pizza/pasta restaurant and the ice cream shop which kept the family very happy! An easy tuk tuk, taxi or walk to some decent restaurants nearby. The family suites are a great option when traveling as a group giving everyone plenty of space to relax.

We didn't love having to collect and exchange pool towels at reception rather than being able to grab them by the pool each day. Equally the bath towels could use an upgrade as they were getting a bit thin and tired.

We have come to an end of a beautiful week in this stunning resort. I have been to many hotels that that claim great service, but here is exceptional. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable: Eddie, Belle and Flame really stood out. Eddie truly went above and beyond. He remembered our names, checked in on us and gave us such a warm welcome every day. He specifically helped us organise a day trip incorporated into our transfer to Krabi. He suggested places to visit away from the tourist traps that will allow us to enjoy some authentic Thailand and stretch our legs whilst not taking us too far from our route with a local driver at a great price. These small acts of help and kindness made travelling with children in a new country less daunting and allowed us to experience true Thai hospitality. Belle's beautiful smile brightened every breakfast and Flame's fun and enthusiasm was infectious at the pool. I'd highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to visit again.

Location is Walking distance from the beach, and they have to beach gates that walk out directly to the beach (across the road) Atmosphere is very good, different swim areas (if you want peace and quite there’s a pool for that, if you want social there’s a pool for that…) Definitely good value for your money spent.

This is probably the most kid friendly resort. Has amazing facilities. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast so also very good.

The breakfast timing could be slightly longer. The variety of Indian a little more. The swimming pool slides close at 6pm.

1/10 – Worst hotel experience I've ever had I booked a 3-bedroom villa for my family. We arrived at around 10:30 AM and were informed that check-in would be at 12:00 PM, which we accepted without any issue. However, when we entered the villa, the air conditioning was not working. We immediately informed the staff. A technician tried to fix it, and we were repeatedly asked to wait another hour or two. We waited patiently for several hours, but nothing was resolved. By around 3:00 PM, instead of providing us with another villa of the same category, the hotel offered us a much lower-category room. When I requested either an equivalent room or a partial refund reflecting the downgrade, both requests were refused. The situation continued until around 6:00 PM. My family had arrived, yet we still had no suitable accommodation. An entire day of our holiday was wasted sitting in the lobby, waiting for a solution that never came. After all this inconvenience, I requested a refund because the hotel could not provide the room and facilities I had paid for. Even the refund process became extremely frustrating. Despite acknowledging the issue verbally, the hotel repeatedly delayed providing written confirmation and kept asking us to wait. It took unnecessary follow-ups before the refund process finally moved forward. What disappointed me the most was not just the broken air conditioning, but the complete lack of customer service, accountability, and urgency. A hotel should know how to handle situations like this professionally, especially when families are involved. I would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking here. Based on my experience, if something goes wrong with your stay, don't expect a prompt or customer-friendly resolution.

Property was beautiful to walk around. Clean facilities. Delightful staff. Conveniently located close to a 7eleven. I felt very safe walking there at night.we really enjoyed the authentic Thai night buffet.

The pool hours were not long enough for the kids. After a day long tour it would have been nice for the family to have a refreshing dip in the pool.

We love almost everything about this hotel. The staff are all so lovely and cheerful from reception to housekeeping. The swimming pools are great with a variety of options and plenty of chairs and seats around them. There are also many options for young children. The restaurant prices are great and everything already includes service charges and tax. Buffer breakfast also amazing. The rooms are comfy and clean with a great shower.

The air conditioner needs a major upgrade. It’s old, very loud and noisy, making it difficult to sleep when it turns on. Our two rooms are often not cool at all, especially on hot days. It feels like just wind blowing out with no cool air even we turn on the lowest temperature. The reception should provide more fans, it’s crazy hot area. You have to stay the side room to get some air conditioner. The bridge between the swimming pool should have more warning signs about the slippery surface. It’s quite slippery and hard to walk on.

This resort exceeded our expectations. The perfect place to relax for a family. We had a Family Connecting Deluxe Terrace room with plenty of room and a great view over the pool area. The kids absolutely loved the waterslides, Sweet Treat Ice-cream parlor, petting zoo and the art studio. The gardens were a highlight, the resort prides itself on making them look so beautiful. We had delicious food at both the Ciao Italian restaurant and Ocean Rhyme. Staff members Wan & Beer were very friendly and helpful. A tip is to go for breakfast before 8.30, it gets very busy. We would love to go back, a wonderful stay

Our check in was a little delayed but once we were finally in our room it was amazing our cleaner Nok was amazing she went above and beyond for us the staff were all amazing too

Beautiful Resort. Great pools and pool bar

Lovely resort, beautiful pools and great water slides. The gardens are an absolute standout, exceptionally beautiful. Manicured, with topiary, bonsai and its own “secret garden”. Petting zoo is wonderful for younger kids. Only suggestion is that it would be great if they had an activities room for older kids. Breakfast buffet is a standout and bar snacks and poolside drinks are at reasonable prices. Staff are very personable. A special mention and thank you to Shevket who was very helpful when I needed assistance with an administrative issue and also thanks to Ploy at the front desk.

We had the most wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better family holiday. Travelling as a family of four with an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old, we found the hotel absolutely perfect. The facilities and amenities were excellent, there was plenty to keep the kids entertained, and the location was ideal – close to town and everything we needed. What really made our stay special was the incredible staff. Praery and Shevket were both fantastic throughout our visit, always friendly, welcoming and happy to help. A special mention must go to Eddie, the bellman/porter, who truly went above and beyond for our family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his kindness and professionalism made a huge difference to our experience. We also loved spending time by the pool thanks to A, the bartender. He was so friendly, made great drinks, created a fun atmosphere and always greeted us with a smile. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back again!

First days and the experience of check-in was really bad it’s 3:15 here and I have still not got my one room . With two small kids and and two old age parents o had to struggle in one room . I got the second room around 4 in the afternoon My parents are really pissed at me and so is my wife on the first day of the trip . I don’t recommend this property . First day of my family trip and it’s ruined .

breakfast not that good, picky about # of towels they give you, room was all the way back in the corner of resort (long walk to get out), shower temperature was warm to hot back and forth. they booked as 1 room but was really 2 joining rooms.

Pool was amazing. The hotel has 3-4 pools and all are very well kept and the slides are awesome. Perfect for the kids to be in the pool for hours. Enough space for all the guests to enjoy the pool. Pool bar is pretty decent as well. The access to the beach is just across the road. very nice and clean beach and the market is within 2-3mins walk. Very good location.

Staff needs to be much more receptive. Very arrogant and not at all helpful staff at almost all places. Room service and housekeeping is horrendous. Keep calling 6-8 times for them to react; they pretend not to understand English and just don't bother to act. 40% of the hotel has Indian guests and still no Indian Veg or any Indian dishes for breakfast. The staff once again disappoints at every restaurant.

Location: The hotel is right across from the beach. The room is large and comes with access to a pool area. The food is delicious. Praey, the receptionist, is very nice. I'll be back again soon.

We stayed 6 nights in a one bedroom swim up room which was a great configuration for our family of two adults and a four year old. We sadly got the worst of a lingering monsoon storm which made it hard to get out and about to explore the area some days. If you are travelling during the wet season, this is a fantastic hotel to stay at with young kids as there was more than enough to do without leaving the hotel grounds. All the pool areas are great and our son particularly loved the waterslides. The gardens are beautifully maintained and lovely to explore despite the weather and feeding the animals each day was a hit! Travelling in the wet season meant the resort wasn’t too busy and the ending wait or queue for activities, meals or pool loungers - another perk of this time of year. Our favourite bartender at the pool bars was A who delivered outstanding service and always had time for a chat and a laugh with our son. Daily breakfast at Ocean Rhyme was fabulous, served buffet style it is truly one of the best buffet breakfasts our family has experienced. We only ate in the hotel one evening when it was too wet to leave and the themed buffet was similarly impressive. A huge thanks to Sunny who engaged daily with our son and made him feel really special. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful including Nok who kept our room very clean and fully stocked without being intrusive, even though we were in and out with the weather. When the rain dried up, the hotel is in a great location to walk to Kata in the evenings for the lively night markets or just to take a stroll up the beach. Thank you to the whole Thavorn Palm Beach team, we will be back soon to stay with you again!

the pools are great with two sepsrate pool bars. The lagoon bar was very nice. Breakfast food was very nice. The gardens with the range of Bonzai trees was great to have a look through ( though many mosquito)

We had a wonderful stay at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort Phuket. The resort is beautifully maintained, with spacious rooms, excellent facilities, and a fantastic location right by the beach. The staff throughout the property were friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding support we received from Ginger at the reception. During our stay, my wife suffered an injury following an ATV accident and needed medical attention. Ginger went far beyond her duties to assist us. She took the time to contact several clinics and hospitals, helped us understand our options, and ensured we received the care we needed as quickly as possible. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine concern during a stressful situation meant a great deal to us. It is rare to come across someone so dedicated to guest welfare, and her efforts turned a difficult experience into one that was much easier to manage. We are extremely grateful to Ginger and the entire team at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort for their hospitality and support. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phuket and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you once again, Ginger, for your exceptional service and care.

This is the best hotel I experienced this year! From location to rooms and atmosphere are all gorgeous, nice check in process, diversity food and relaxing vibe☺️ On the last day I stay here, I was unfortunately lost my phone but with the help of Anne and her team, I got it back finally, really luck and appreciate for them kindly help! Really recommend you to choose their services!
