The bed was uncomfortable the bed frame was broken and the mattress was uncomfortable I asked for another room but wasn’t given one the window was disgustingly dirty

Motel is dated. Some of the appliances were not plugged in (had to figure that out). We paid for two nights of accommodation. Bed was not made up nor fresh towels on the second night. Some very questionable stuff going on the first floor. Ie women offering sex servicess etc.

Cleanliness could be improved, also could hear all the noise from the hallway waking us up at 3am

Someone in our drive up spot , we were basicly told to deal with it ourselves and knock on their door and ask them to move

The size of the room was very nice. The beds were comfortable but they moaned when you rolled over.

The outlets in the room were sparse. None of the lights worked until we found a proper plug. Everything was plugged into extension cords. No real place to plug our iPads in, except for behind the couch. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. We also found that the tub was very slippery and because it is sloped on the sides and not flat this made it even more slippery.

Location is good

The carpet was extremely wet. I had to keep my shoes on so not to get feet and socks wet. Strong smell of chlorine from pool and kids could be heard screaming. Not very sound proof.

Rooms were large

I paid extra to check out for 1:00. When we got back to room around noon they had started cleaning room and threw out some of our belongings. At some point just left and didn’t finish room. We also had to clean out filter from heat/ AC unit. Room smelled. Filter filthy.

The bed was comfy, was nice to be on the 4th floor. Staff were pleasant

To me, it wasn’t very clean of a room. We had a stained washcloth in the bathroom which appeared “clean”. The carpet was filthy, definitely needed some sort of shampoo. Left dirty footprints the second we walked into the bathroom on the white tiles just from walking from the bed. The walls and ceilings also had some water stains/damage. And there was no conditioner? Only shampoo available. Overall was an okay stay, but the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of the room.

Pool closed for maintenance and we were not informed. We booked the hotel because it had a pool. Pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable

Clean and good location also priced good

The location is wonderful across the street for Science North among sports fields. The bed and sheets were comfortable. It’s nice to be able to park near the room.

It’s older but ok. I was just there to sleep but the pillows were huge and the duvet extremely thin with no extra blankets in the room. The AC had been set to a freezing 61F upon arrival which made it worse.

The room was very dirty. Coffee and other stains on several walls, sticky surfaces. Wet spot on the ceiling above the TV indicates a possible leak somewhere above.

Everything we wanted to do was within like 10 km of the hotel including multiple thrift stores, science north, the mall and many good restaurants. The restaurant attached to the hotel had pretty good breakfast and you get a 10% discount if you are staying at the hotel. Room was comfy and clean. Staff was very kind. Shout out to the man who work 11pm to I believe 7am. He made great conversation, was very kind and patient.

The door to our hotel room was hard to open. You’d have to push quite a bit of body weight on it due to the way it was built I think. The door wasn’t heavy or anything. The door rattled and we had the impression it would be very easy to open without a key. Our showers drain would not drain fast enough our water would be up to our ankles during the whole shower basically. The shower floor was very slippery but may just be due to the water buildup. The bathroom floor in the pool was disgusting, and obviously it’s the one place you are less likely to have feet coverups. The bathroom next to the elevator was also kind of dirty but that wasn’t too big of a problem, just had a weird smell. The soap in there was the hotel shampoo which was a little odd to me but it does make more sense than tens of people using the same bar of soap, but still odd. Parking at night was bad, we get a parking pass, we shouldn’t have to fight to get parking.

No Hot tub, which I should have checked further before booking. The whole reason we booked was the pool/hottub after a 12 hour drive. Only One staff member in the afternoon doing everything? Very understaffed meanwhile during the morning there was 100staff members roaming around.

Pet friendly and renovated. No breakfast, but a restaurant (Perkins) attached. Location near hospital, Science Center and Four Corners.

Walls were not well insulated, a little noisy. I forgot my earplugs.

Paper products were very sub standard. As an elderly person I prefer better quality tissues and tp. That was my only concern. Maybe minor but none the less major for my comfort

The entire third floor smelled strongly of canabis. When I asked that my family be moved to another room I was first told there were none available, then told there was one queen studio, with a pull.out sofa bed. I asked what they suggested we do, I was told I could check out. I asked for a refund and was denied. My family took the Queen studio and couldn’t even use the pull out sofa bed, it was nothing but springs. Terrible.

My reason for poor review is the fact I booked this hotel for the pool and pool was not available. Restaurant food at Perkins was good but extremely slow! Only two waitresses working for entire restaurant,

Notification that pool was out of service. Travelling with grandchildren who always want a pool.

We had issues at the Best Western, Travelodge took care of us immediately and gave us a pet friendly room and were great. Fantastic staff, friendly and helpful. Great stay and close to Wal Mart. easy access and good parking.

This is a dated, reasonably clean hotel. It has a Perkins attached. It has a decently cared for aged pool. We were here in August so all it's missing is a bunch of minor hockey teams with mini sticks

The facility is not handy cap accessible. The place has no where for people that uses a wheelchair or walker or a Cain. Especially for people that can not walk up or down stairs .they do not have grab bars for the toilet or shower. Its pathetic never got to stay there and you still tried to bill me

Floor was damp and tub was not great

This is one of my favorite hotels for having an exit from the ground floor rooms. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean.

Paying for a ground floor rooms and having to walk the entire length of the building anyway because people on the upper floors have taken all the spots in front of the ground floor room entrances! Spots for ground floor rooms should really be assigned. I should have been able to park my vehicle in front of my room entrance and walk my handicapped mother through my room to hers. To make matters even worse, there wasn't even enough handicap parking to park near a main entrance for her. More than one other ground floor guest commented on how nice it would have been to park in front of our rooms when they watched me haul luggage up and around the building and half way back to the main reception

I liked that the bedroom was separate from the sitting room

No air conditioner in bedroom , network wasn't working and either was the air-conditioner , had to clean the filters which were filthy.

There were bed bugs! We checked out in the middle of the night to flee from that place

The price! Original reservation was made for a certain date at a certain price. Then we changed the date and the price went up by $60.00. There was need for this non-sense. For this additional cost we didn't even have shampoo and plastic cups in our room. not quite impressed!

The front desk staff was amazing. My father was there for surgery and our appointment finished sooner than expected. Staff enabled an earlier check in. Actually swapped our room due to mobility issue and provided us with a wheelchair to use. Also a flexible check out.

When it was time for a shower the faucet shot right off the copper pipe. When we asked for a room to shower in, we were offered a dirty room. After asking for the manager we were offered a clean room to shower in and a $20 gift certificate to the diner next door

Everything just perfect. Staff quite friendly, assistance great. Was “Hells Angels” big do in Sudbury & hotel packed with some pretty rough looking fellows. No problems though, just increased police presence, but, when they 1st arrived sounded like convoy M1A1 Abrams tanks entering parking lot. Very respectful, friendly though. No extra rowdiness into late hrs. 2 thumbs up for housekeeping & front desk staff. Will most certainly book this establishment again next trip to Sudbury

Couple ice machines instead of only “1” located by front desk might be good idea as hotel fair size. My room at one end, ice machine on ground floor at other end , so, was bit of walk. No problems though

Perkins served good meals.

We appreciate the quick action of the front desk when we notified them of the clogged bathtub. It was fixed right away.

Great hotel with clean pool and nice location within walking distance to a park with splash pad. Lots of parking & even had garbage cans for dog waste which we rarely find at other hotels.

Room 347 location was so noisy it was very difficult to get any sleep until after 1AM. When we returned from a family function at 9:30 pm, the hallway outside the door of our room was used as a party place for residents, I assume, of other rooms on the floor. There is no wall between the lobby and that area outside the door, so any visiting done down there was fully audible and very loud. The window is also right above the front entrance which increased the noise in the room. When called after 12:00 AM, the front staff was unable to control the level of noise and it did not stop until after 1AM. They did answer the call promptly. I recommend room 347 be made into some kind of store room.

When we arrived, I had already done the online check-in. It still took about 15 minutes to receive our keys. When we got up to our assigned room, it hadn’t been cleaned. Also, the whole floor smelled of marijuana.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and this was without question the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was filthy when I arrived. There was old food still left in the refrigerator from a previous guest, which immediately made me question whether the room had been cleaned at all. The overall cleanliness was disgusting and far below even the most basic standards. The entire night was a nightmare. There were people constantly coming and going from rooms, loud activity in the hallways at all hours, and absolutely no sense of security or peace. Getting a decent night’s sleep was impossible. This hotel is in desperate need of proper management, cleaning, and security. I genuinely wish I had spent my money anywhere else. Save yourself the frustration and avoid staying here.

Did not appreciate the poison box for rodents left by the back entrance. Bad enough to see that but worse for pets.
