Centrally located, quiet and near the park/lake. Breakfast was a little above average.

Even though the staff kindly fixed a problem caused by Booking.com, our overall impression of the staff was not great.

Hotel staff was friendly, witnessed exceptional kindness of breakfast attendant who helped a patron with an assistive device navigate the breakfast area. Room, common areas and property was clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable. Great value for location (proximity to hospital & downtown). Best feature: hotel was exceptionally quiet and peaceful (no noise from neighbour's, no unexpected knocks from housekeeping & no noise despite a street facing room). Excellent water pressure and temperature of shower. Free on-site parking (given parking pass for stay). Good hotel safety (room keycard required at entrance after 11pm).

Breakfast could be a little better. I'd love more choice of additional bread options such as bagels or English muffins. Hot items weren't especially warm. Bathroom sink in room took a while to drain after moderate use.

Not sure about the breakfast although it did smell quite good. We were there for a medical appointment right next door to the Sudbury Hospital and convenience was key to us. I really loved the fact that they allowed us to continue parking there for the interim during our visit at the hospital. They allowed us to stay in their parking lot for a full 24 hours from check in time to well after check out time. This meant a lot!

A slightly reduced rate would have been greatly appreciated as we are seniors on a fixed income and although we booked online, we were informed that not only could a senior rate not be applied, but also a "hospital rate" not be applied as we were told there was nothing that could be done to over ride the online booking process, even though one of the hospital administrators encouraged us to ask for one. A little compassion could have been applied here, even if it meant a few dollars...as a courtesy. We paid the full $297.00 for the one night however for the convenience factor.

It was close to the hospital. It was quiet and clean. Breakfast was good.

The bed was very comfy.

After finding out about the vehicle break ins that occurred to fellow travelers while we were there, I found myself feeling very unsafe and fearful of the parking lot. It concerns me that this occurred during our stay as well as the previous day to another traveller and could have been us. Safety is very important to me and I would be very hesitant to return because of this.

Don't stay here unless you don't mind the risk of having your vehicle window smashed and ransacked. Our vehicle was broken into that night, staff was not very helpful. We were not notified that there had been a break in the night before. Police didn't do anything aside from say they filed a report. They didn't even come. There was a small amount of blood on the bed.

Noisy with doors banging and could hear people talking all night long.

Comfy beds and clean bath with a tub and a handheld showerhead - a gamechanger for us. Location is right across the planetarium.

The windows could not be opened at all. All air came through the A/C. Breakfast was ok-ish. Eggs and toast were very good but there was no butter, only margerine.

Great easy check in room was clean in all aspects I was very happy with my stay and the cost. Would stay again. Customer service was wonderful. Hotel was quiet bed was comfy didn’t get a chance to enjoy the breakfast but I’m sure it was great.

Your breakfast choices very bland Putting toast thru once was like warm bread and note said don’t put it through twice !! Little selection however sausages were good.

Great location and good variety for breakfast. Just wish the cleaning staff would refill the creamer, sugar etc as we didn't have any in the room when we made coffee in the morning

Es gab auch einen Waschraum mit Trockner, Waschmittel im Shop. Frühstück war umfangreich. Für diesen Preis echt erstaunlich. Aber das Beste waren die Mitarbeiter*innen! Danke nochmals herzlich für das Nachsenden meiner vergessenen Gegenstände!

We spent two nights here. A senior couple on vacation. Perfect clean room, easy parking and access to room (ask for ground floor as no elevator). Includes a decent breakfast. The best deal in Sudbury.

Very clean and quiet this stuff was friendly and it's probably been one of the first places where someone has offered to carry my bags to my room. A gentleman behind a desk named HARIS was exceptional from the time we checked in the time we checked out.

Not a lot of parking. Bed was old, squeezing and mattress was beat up. Lots of noise in the hallway. Kids running and talking loud.

All good, from breakfast to the spaces to the service. Would stay there again. The cot for our 5th person was quite substantial, and already had the sheets and blankets on it when we arrived.

Everything was great except I did not get the floor I asked for when I reserved the room two weeks in advance. Your medical rate is awesome. Staff was great and polite. Breakfast was very good and great coffee.

The location is great, close to Science North, close to Bell Park, the hotel is very clean, and so quiet.

I have never been treated so badly by the receptionist man. I am disabled and was staying at this hotel as it was close to the hospital where I was been treated for a brain tumour! Not only was I I on the second floor and had to carry my luggage up the stairs by myself and with only one arm the receptionist man thought this was funny! When I went outside for a cigarette he gave me the dirtiest look, like he was so much better then myself. On Sunday I went downstairs to have breakfast, I went at 9:00. He came over to my table at told me that checkout was at 11:00 and to make sure I left! I told all my oncologist and nurses the way this man was treating me and they were appalled. Treating someone who is battling cancer is not funny as this man seemed to think it was! Then to make matters worse he charged me an additional $225. as he said there was smokongnon the room!! This is untrue and the man saw me go outside to smoke. I cannot even express my disdain at the way I was treated? The disgust that he had all over his face was totally uncompassionate for a woman who is suffering from a brain tumour and only has the use of one left arm! This man was horrible. I get it, I have been battling for three years and I know I do not look my best but they doesn't mean I should be treated like a lesser part of society. The $225.00 that was charged because of smokongnon the room!! That is a plain out lie!!! He must have planned this as he knew I was going outside to smoke, he saw me many times!! 225 for a fake downright lie!!! I am disgusted!!! My goodness he wouldn't even help me carry my luggage up the stairs, one arm, lopsided and a brain tumour and he was just standing there watching me struggle with a stupid grin on his face!'There was no smoking in the room, in fact I was freezing and couldn't figure out the air conditioner! Having a frontal lobe tumour it causes problems with thinking as well weakness. During my two night stay I froze and then was accused and charged with smoking!! This was done because of the way I looked, the receptionist should not be dealing with disabled people and then be accused of smoking in the room after he saw me smoking outside. Absolutely horrible! I am writing this review on the advice of my oncologists and my family who couldn't believe someone had that little compassion! He should not be in this position! He is a liar! Stacey Phillips

Very convenient to Sudbury hospital. Was able to walk to the hospital and avoid parking costs. Clean room basic! The garbage cans outside were always full and when they fell over garbage all over for days. Even after telling front desk.

We stayed at the Travelway on April 19th and 20th and I did an excellent review at the time. Nothing changed since since the last time we were there. Please refer to that review. I am not going to do it again. Thank you.

Breakfast is a feature that I looked for when choosing a facility.

Everything was good.

We needed a handycap room there was an orange under the rad crumbs on the rug. The room was not wheel chair friendly at all because of the rug. I had a dirty room the last time I booked a room Doritos under the bed, fresh stain on the rug. I've been using your facility for the last 10 year always clean I did put a review the first time it happen and that's three weeks apart and nothing change very disappointed. I was up to the hospital for 7 days we when some where else. I'm sad that the cleanliness when down hill. It was a 4.5 motel before not now.

no shower pressure as device was not working. reported this to the staff at checkout and was hoping to get some sort of credit. but nothing was offered.

This hotel is a solid place to stay: quiet, friendly staff, very clean (though the carpeting in the room could use a shampoo), comfortable beds, nice breakfast in an attractive space, good WiFi, nice lounge/business area, convenient to our needs in the South end of town. It's across from Science North, if you have kids, and the hospital, if you need to be in town for it. It does not have an elevator to the second floor, if stairs are an issue with luggage (though we were offered help if we needed it, which we didn't), nor does it have a pool. It does have a guest laundry, which was great as we were on a road trip. We would stay here again.

An elevator and a pool would be a bonus, but we were fine without them. Overall, a good stay -- thank you!

The beds were very comfy, clean room and great service. Close to the cancer clinic. Breakfast was really enjoyable.

No elevator. The list of available channels should already be in the room. Maybe add more coffee whitener. And there should be a bigger discount on rooms when a cancer patient stays more than one night.

We are always welcomed by the Travelway staff in Sudbury. We also receive a reasonable price for each of our stays. It is important to budget costs when we travel so our first call is to Travelway hotels. The included breakfast is also a highlight before we start our day. Keep up the good work!

Cleanliness, Convenience in proximity to hospital, breakfast and view from restaurant.

Didn’t like the evening receptionist. She was unwelcoming, did not smile once, lacked manners, ie-did not greet us with “hello”, say thank you nor enjoy your stay. The fan was “on” all night but the A/C kicked, it was so loud -it woke up when turned on and off all night.

The big chair is definitely appreciated.

Found the bed leaning toward side. To many customers probably sat on the edge causing this issue.

The convenience of the location and the restaurant

We had requested a room without too much walking and were given a room that required my 82 yr old husband to walk the longest distance possible in the hotel. We are seriously finding a new hotel to stay while in Sudbury.

Was sehr gut ist, sind das Erfrischungsgetränk in der Lobby, die Ruhe im und um das Hotel und der überwachte Parkplatz. Der direkt nebenan gelegene Park ist ganz wunderbar. Das Hotel ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Ein Tipp: vielleicht könnte der Teppichboden in den Zimmern einmal erneuert werden.

I was very satisfied with the rooms I had , it had pretty well everything I needed and also the little food court at the front of the hotel was very useful for myself for grabbing something fast to eat as the cafeteria at the hospital closes early in the day I found.

Breakfast included since there were no accessible restaurants near by.

Far from everything, restaurants, stores, airport or anything from that matter. No restaurant onsite; had to order Doordash which was terrible. Rooms need updating.

Excellent location for hospital appointments. Clean comfortable rooms and very quiet with good air conditioning. An excellent quick breakfast was utilized. Excellent parking lot and easy access to the entrances. I will certainly recommend this location to friends and associates.

Easy check-in and check-out. Room was clean. Housekeeping came by on second day and asked if we needed anything. They gave us fresh towels. Unfortunately, some things were showing their age. As examples, a drawer on one nightstand by bed would keep opening an inch or two, and some fabric on a lounge chair beside the bed had pulled away from a neighbouring piece. Despite these examples, we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is clear with many amenities. We stayed two nights because of a hospital stay. The location is perfect as you can walk to the main entrance in under 10 min. The staff is great. Wilson and Scott, at the front desk, were amazing. They both helped to make our stay less stressful. The soup, available at the front desk, is delicious and such a convenience! I would stay again in a minute! Its also located directly across from Science North!

Great location. Rooms were very clean. Bathroom towels were very soft. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was okay. Our room view was of the field. We watched a soccer game sitting on our bed! Fantastic!

We were on the 2nd floor, I found the hallways to be a bit dark.
