The location and scenery is amazing. The loft was wonderful for 2 people, well equiped and easy to get around. Loved exploring the property on the walks.

Stunning location and lovely tidy house with all of the creature comforts you could need. I booked the Cottage to stay with my bridesmaids leading up to my wedding at the Winehouse just down the road and we had a fabulous time.

A pre-warning about the hill/driveway could be a good idea - the classic car we had for the wedding couldn't get up the driveway so we needed to be ferried down!

Judge and Jury Farm – The Loft is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The property is incredibly well appointed, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The décor is lovely, thoughtfully chosen, and the whole space feels welcoming, cosy, and very well cared for. The bed and furnishings are exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to truly unwind. The location is beautifully remote and peaceful — the kind of place where you can properly switch off. The drive in might make you think you’ve taken a wrong turn, but don’t worry… just keep going, it’s absolutely worth it! Once you arrive, the sense of quiet and space is fantastic. Despite the rural setting, the WiFi is excellent, which was a very pleasant surprise and worked perfectly throughout our stay. We would highly recommend The Loft to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality escape in a stunning setting. One small tip: if you’re over about 5’8”, just be mindful of your head in places — it is a loft after all! That aside, this is a truly special place and somewhere we’d happily return to

• Since having to open and close the metal gate each time, it's rather unsafe to walk over the metal part with the bigger gaps on the floor

Hided away from hustle and bustle Queenstown but located not so far.

Not crucial at all but was a bit annoying to open fence to drive in and drive out. Also there are two floors and for people with children on elder people could be a big challenging.

Lovely home to stay in with 5 people. Everyday you will pass many wild rabbits while driving up or down the driveway or when cooking you see them hopping by in the distance. Also not far from Queenstown, Arrowtown, Cromwell. Even though half a day we had no electricity due to emergency maintenance, communication through the owners were very clear and helpful! The house provided enough blankets and heaters to keep the cold outside!

As we were with 5, it would be nice to have cooking ware that could fit larger portions. Although the kitchen provided pots and pans, we thought they were a bit too small to have efficient cooking. But as you can see this is not a real bad thing, just feedback to improve future experiences :)

Beautiful and peaceful rural location with mountain views, close to the Bungee Centre, wineries and cycle track. Only a short, easy drive from Queenstown and Arrowtown. Neil was a very friendly, helpful and understanding host. We'd happily stay again!

It’s a little bit out of Queenstown, and very well positioned to explore arrowtown, or the Gibbston wine region.

The drive way up to the cottage was abit rough. The place was cold until you got the fire going. A heatpump would have been good.

The property was very clean and well equipped! It was in such a lovely and quiet area but a close enough drive to the heart of Queenstown!

Nothing to dislike! Very small misses in the bathroom for cleaning but insignificant and easy to fix. A bigger saucepan would have been ideal to cook the family staple of pasta :) Loved Judge and Jury

The turn out onto the Kawerau Gorge is tricky...

Couldn't fault it! Secluded with beautiful country views. Comfy beds, - everything required for a relaxing stay. Walks at your doorstep. Location perfect for Queenstown and Arrowtown (including vineyards close - can recommend Ayrburn & Gibbston for dinner. Everything was perfect for our family - thank you

A beautiful place — quiet, charming, and full of character. It's ideal for anyone looking to stay in a peaceful rural setting, and has a car to explore the surrounding area. It was perfect for us: we loved spending our days visiting touristic spots, then coming back in the evenings to unwind in a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The fireplace was a wonderful bonus, adding warmth and comfort to our stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing countryside escape.

We (4 people) spent 3 weeks on the south island of New Zealand and this was one of our favorite places. The house is located on a pretty farm and has lots of windows looking out on the lovely yard. The house is tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well stocked so we could prepare our meals. We appreciated the brand new gas grill. Queenstown was about a 30 minute drive. I highly recommend Judge and Jury!

Beautiful farm just outside of Queenstown. Peaceful. Excellent facilities. Perfect if you want something a little different and away from the hustle and bustle.

Loved the Cottage, easy to get to, amazing spot, nice and peaceful, was super warm, rooms and house were spacious, beds super comfy, large bathroom and 2 seperate toilets which was great, , this house had everything, well stocked Kitchen with everything we needed, was amazing, was clean and tidy. Well stocked accommodation and a peaceful and quiet refuge after busy day activities Perfect for our needs and many would pay a premium for peace and tranquility which we had in abundance. Highly recommended.

The peacefulness and it's location

Lovely host, accommodation was perfect for our needs, very well appointed and super clean. The picturesque gardens and abundance of birdlife gave us such a peaceful environment to relax in.

Not a negative but I would recommend stocking up on food /essentials etc. before coming out to the property. Arrowtown, (nearest shops) was around a 10 to 15 minute drive away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Judge & Judy Farm. The property is situated in a beautiful, quiet location whilst still being convenient.

It is an exclusive experience. We like the surrounding, the kitchen facilities, the beds, and the rabbits.

Need own transport as very rural.

Ali was a great host! She made sure we made it to the property which is a little hard to navigate if you're not from the area due to a not so obvious entry to it. The sign needs some upgrading maybe make it much bigger. Overall, we enjoyed it lime our own home. Very quiet, secluded from the busy buzzing noise of the city, closer to bike trails which if we had plenty of time, we would've definitely use it. The bungy jump park is also closer unfortunately no time to go since we wanted to see the countryside and spent time driving instead. 2 days will not cut it so plan for longer stay next time I guess.

One of our favourite stays so far. Judge and Jury’s was clean, spacious, private and so cosy for the days we had when it snowed! All the amenities you need, and comfy beds. You are situated in nature and yet a short walk to some of the vineyards. Thanks for having us! We will definitely come back for another stay.

A beautiful modern cottage wIth everything we needed. Lovely rural views. The owners lived next door but there was no friendly welcome or reply to our email.

Far exceeded our expectations, a spacious cottage with fully equipped facilities that made us feel right at home. Everything was prepared ahead, Ali was super accommodating to our needs to allow early check-in and shared updated weather report to ensure our safe travel during winter. Love the heated floor of the toilet that won't leave us freezing in the middle of the night, having a log burner instead of typical electric heater also added the charm for the cottage. We love the daily encounter with the wild rabbits whenever we travel out/return. The location is very private (we love it! away from the cbd) and don't mind the drive away from town/airport as it suits our agenda perfectly. Highly recommended..!

Everything was great at the Judge and Jury - location, the cottage, furnishings, The heated bathroom floor was unexpected, but a treat. the unit was very clean.

The loft was exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed. We loved the small touches with the supply of coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, olive oil, seasoning and washing power. Great to have Netflix etc. Great location, 20 mins from Queenstown and Arrowtown is worth a visit.

The sofa is getting saggy and tired but was ok.

Location was great, peaceful and private. Loved the Loft, awesome get away spot for a couple.

It was beautiful and secluded. Great position to base yourself while exploring the nearby townships. The property is immaculate.

The driveway was very scary for the first day or two but we soon got used to it and just prayed no one came the other way. A microwave would have come in handy but everything else you could possibly need was provided.

Clean and cosy living area, clean and comfortable beds allowed us to have a good night's sleep. Great place to do some stargazing too!

Seclusion but so handy to Cromwell and Queenstown, bke track and vineyards on food.

That a gardener what working in the weekend. We would have liked to have sat outside but the presence of the gardener ruined the seclusion we were wanting to experience.

Great location, away from crazy Queenstown, with beautiful rooms and amazing comfy beds. The fireplace came to our rescue during the cold night, great to explore around the area, and finding lots of wild bunnies. It really felt like as a family we were able to unwind from the stress of our everyday life.
