Inn at Venice Beach

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Venice Beach. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, which was really convenient. Even with all of that around, the area was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The room was great: very clean, modern, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The parking fee is $38 nightly. It wasn’t an issue for our one-night stay, but it’s worth considering if you’re staying longer. The fee is clearly stated in advance, and we preferred leaving the car there as it felt safer and more convenient than street parking.

Tiny room with loud AC that blew directly on the bed (making it freezing). Turning off the AC made it too hot. Parking fees for a basic lot anyone can access.

Very nice hotel near the beach. Everyone was very friendly and the room was clean.

Zimmer war sehr groß mit begehbarem Kleiderschrank und viel Platz. Die beiden Doppelbetten waren mindesten 1,60 cm breit und sehr bequem. Kaffeemaschine und Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Badezimmer war ebenfalls ausreichend groß. Dank des Fensters zum Innenhof, war das Zimmer sehr ruhig. Nur ca. 400 m bis zum Strand.

Location was very good as its veryu close to Venice Canal and the beach, walkable distance, Room size was very spacious and has all the necessary facilities.

it was really disappointing to charge me for couple of water bottles after my stay and checked out, it worth nothing more than 10 USD while the front desk staff told me its complementary. Moreover, I have been charged for the car parking twice from 2 different credit cards, however they advised that it was a mistake and it will be fully refunded along with the security deposit, and I am still waiting since 11th August, lets see. thanks

Es war erstaunlich ruhig, obwohl die Gegend unter Einheimischen wohl nicht als super ruhig gilt. Jedoch wird sich sicher beschrieben, was wir auch so wahrgenommen hatten

Die Parkgebühren. Als Besucher fast 40 Doller zuzahlen ist ok. Aber als Gast bin ich eigentlich von Hotels mit dieser Anzahl an Sternen anderes gewöhnt. Selbst in Vegas haben wir nur 20 bezahlt!

Das im Internet veröffentliche Foto entspricht nicht dem ersten Eindruck, den wir hatten. Das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Wir wurden aufgefordert, einen bezahlten Parkplatz zu nehmen, man kann aber in den Seitenstrassen problemlos parken. Das Zimmer zur Seitenstraße war aber dann erfreulich großzügig und sauber. Die Handtücher waren flauschig und wir haben gut geschlafen. Die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer war etwas schwierig. In der Lobby gibt es auch Kaffee und Tee, Wasser gibt es nicht gratis. Ein Safe ist im Zimmer vorhanden.

Eismaschine nur im unteren Level. Kaute Straße- sonst könnte man bei offenem Fenster schlafen.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier, weil die Lage einfach perfekt ist. Man ist super schnell am Strand, hat aber in der Nacht seine Ruhe vom Boardwalk. Die Venice Canals sind direkt nebenan und toll zum Spazieren, es gibt Restaurants und Bars direkt in der Nachbarschaft. Wir lieben die Ecke von Venice sehr. Zudem hat das Hotel einfach ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß für eine vierköpfige Familie wie uns. Kaffee gibt es auf dem Zimmer und in der Lobby umsonst ☕️💜 Wir kommen definitiv wieder auf unserem nächsten Trip nach Venice.

Das Parken ist sehr teuer.

A great find in Venice! The location is perfect, close to everything—from little markets to bars and restaurants—and within walking distance of the beach. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and available for any request. I would definitely recommend this place!

When I have to be in LA for business this is my go to place. I’m always hesitant to give it a rave review because then the secret will be out! I have been coming here for a few years now because the hotel is two blocks from the beach, close to freeways, has great parking (although expensive), the beds are comfortable,the staff is super friendly, lots of food and restaurant choices . The rooms are clean, the showers are great, and the rooms are quite large. My favourite thing is every room comes with a sliding patio door that opens to a balcony so I can open it and let the sea breeze flow in. It can be a bit noisy because it is surrounded by tourists and vacationers out having a good time but it has never bothered me. I’ve tried other hotels near the beach but I always come back to this one.

It is only 7mins walk to Venice beach pier, a lot of restaurants in the area a lot of options. The room is very clean and with a veranda overlooking the city. By far it is the best Inn I’ve been able to book around California seaside communities. Kudos!

They don’t have microwave in the room, but they do have it in the guest lounge.

Comfortable beds with lots of room and a small dining and kitchenette area. Great area for wandering around Venice Beach and walking to Santa Monica - loads of cool bars around. Plenty of towels and nice basic cosmetics provided in the bathroom (shower, soap, conditioner), plenty of plugs for charging electronics

Kitchenette area just had a fridge and a small coffee maker - not a kettle for hot water. No water provided (small bottles in the room were $5 each if used). The car park situation is misleading - it’s safe and secure right by reception however it does cost $38 PER NIGHT on top of what’s quite a pricey stay. The AC seem to have a mind of it’s own sometimes so it took us a couple of nights to find the right settings.

Great location steps from beach and canal. Rooms clean and bright most with balconies! Super nice staff and bike rental Nextdoor. I feel like it's a great value! The got the parking space rate so no worries about parking. But neighborhood close, you could park there.

The room was comfortable, clean, and looked renewed. The location is very good, close to the ocean and to a lot of bars.

The elevator is not working. The staff knows there's even a sign saying, "The elevator is slow; take the stairs." On the last night, the elevator was simply not working at all. Staff mentioned that it has been like this for more than a year.

The hotel was a lat minute find for an extra night because our flight got canceled as we are about to board. To our surprise the inn is near Venice Beach about 3 min walk. The rooms are comfy and cozy, with soft bed and fluffy pillows. The rooms are well kept and clean. Ample towels for the room which is always a plus. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and make sure we got everything we needed for the stay. Can't recommend enough. When I'm back to visit Santa Monica/ Venice beach I will try to stay at this place again.

Locationwas just perfect- just a step to everything we needed- the bike rental also in the same building- just super! Even if located on a croudy / main street the room was quiet and with a nice view!

Just be aware that they hit you with a $38/day plus tax parking fee when you arrive. Unacceptable. This will be my last stay.

La ubicación es excelente, a pocos pasos de Venice Beach y rodeado de restaurantes y cafeterías, lo que permite recorrer la zona caminando con total comodidad. La habitación era muy amplia, cómoda y contaba con aire acondicionado, algo que se agradece especialmente en los días más calurosos. Además, quiero destacar la amabilidad del personal. En especial, Alfonso fue muy atento durante nuestra estadía y siempre tuvo una excelente disposición para ayudarnos. En general, todo el equipo nos hizo sentir muy bien recibidos.

El único inconveniente fue que el ascensor estaba fuera de servicio durante nuestra estadía. Aunque nuestra habitación se encontraba solo en el primer piso, subir maletas grandes y pesadas por las escaleras no fue una tarea fácil. Hubiera sido un buen gesto que el hotel ofreciera ayuda con el equipaje o algún tipo de compensación por la falta de un servicio tan importante. Fuera de ese detalle, nuestra experiencia fue muy buena y no tuvimos otros inconvenientes.

Smallish boutique hotel with a mid-century mod sort of decor. No complaints. Place felt more personal than a chain. Rooms were clean. Bedding was comfortable. Climate was controlled. Location is amazing. Quick walk to Venice Pier. BTW - loved Venice. LONG walk to Santa Monica pier filled my soul with happiness and sun 🌞

A szoba büdös, dohos szagú volt, az összes ruhánk átvette a szagot. Hiába próbáltunk szellőztetni, nem segített 😡 A lift lefelé olyan lassan jön, hogy katasztrófa... A parkolás egy éjszakára 41 dollár? Igazi rablás 😭 100 $ depositot kértek egy éjszakára, de ez sehol sem volt feltűntetve! Csalódás volt ez a szállás sajnos.

バスタブの排水が悪く時間がかかりすぎる点と蛇口からの出水からシャワーにかえる際のレバーが硬く100％の切り替えができなかった この点をフロントに申し入れ治らない場合は部屋の交換を了承してもらった 外出から帰り確認すると治したので部屋は移動する必要なしと言われる 実際に使ってみると全く昨晩と同じ状態であり修理していないこおは明らかであった つまり彼らは嘘つきである！！

The place is a bit dated. The elevator is slow (which they acknowledged with a sign). On warm days the loft part of the suite gets pretty hot and the air conditioning from the lower level doesn’t control the temperature of the loft area (but there is a ceiling fan).

I absolutely loved it. It’s just a few steps down to Venice Beach, and you can easily walk to Abbot Kinney Boulevard with all its cafés, restaurants, and cute shops. Whether it’s a short stroll around the canals, a walk on the beach, or a day at the beach: this place is perfect for it. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and very clean. Perfect for a stay in authentic LA.

3rd year we stay here while visiting L. A. the location on Venice Beach is perfect, everything is walkable distance. Hotel is nice, bed is comfortable and staff is friendly. This time we got the free upgrade at the LOFT and it was amazing!

The hotel is in a great location. The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. That is of course except for the elevator that does needs some help. The rooms are clean. The staff is great and we enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms are a bit small. For the price for the location and for the staff I don’t think you could beat it. We will be back.

Our experience with this hotel was very disappointing. We had informed the hotel in advance that our flight was canceled and that we would arrive one day later. The hotel confirmed that our reservation would stay active. However, when we finally arrived after a very long trip, we were told at reception that our booking had been canceled because the hotel had tried to charge our card before arrival without informing us. The service at the front desk was also poor and unhelpful, especially considering the situation. After many hours of traveling, we had to look for a new hotel late at night and pay extra costs ourselves. I recommend future guests make sure directly with the hotel how and when payment will be charged, even if the booking says “pay at the property.”

Lage einfach super, schnell zu Fuß am Strand, Fahrradverleih quasi im Haus oder um die Ecke, Alles gut fußläufig zu erreichen bzw, sehr zu empfehlen mit dem Fahrrad, Auch Ben Affleck bei uns am Cafe Starbacks getroffen. Parkplatz super und vom Preis her passend

I have stayed at The Inn at Venice Beach on many occasions over the past few years - and every time Alfonso and the team are always incredibly friendly, and welcoming. The rooms are great, and hotel quiet too - which is what I need when arriving from the UK. The location is cool, super close to the beach and Venice Canals. I look forward to the next time I stay.

The location was perfect for a stay in Venice Beach - 5 minute walk to a bunch of great food options and of course Venice Beach. With all that it was pretty quiet at night meaning you could sleep peacefully Reception and the lovely cleaner greeting you at the door were always friendly and cheerful

As with most of everything in Los Angeles: prices are not worth what you are getting. Again: staff was very friendly, rooms clean, but charging 38USD for parking a day is pushing it. 5USD a normal water. Checking in early 50USD. Also charging extra for "fast" wifi is just outdated and since the "normal" wifi in the suite was barely holding it together, it seriously is a reason not to stay in this hotel anymore. When normal pages are not loading and 15USD are charged for "fast" internet, it seems more like a relict from out of time. But hey, it's the US with late stage capitalism. Everything is for sale, nothing is sacred. We payed like 200usd a night and charging every bit extra feels like just not uplifting when you stay in the hotel. So price-value isnt really there (at least from my point of view).

Very clean in a great location. Alfonso was very helpful and personable. This is our second time at the Inn at Venice and we will always stay there when visiting family. A very quaint and family oriented place. Thank you again for the pleasant stay.

Everything was clean, the room was huge, the staff were wonderful, the location can't be beat.

The property is a little older so sometimes you might catch that older smell. But it isn't a deal breaker at all.
