Emplacement idéal sur Venice beach. La vue sur la plage et Venice Beach est au rendez vous pour les chambres côté océan. Les chambres sont bien décorées avec une bonne literie, elles sont toutefois bien plus petites que ne le montrent les photos sur le site.

Absence de service et personnel de l hôtel peu impliqué pour un tel niveau de prix. Le nombre limite de vélos (4) et l impossibilité de les réserver à l avance ne permet pas de pouvoir bénéficier de ce service si vous êtes en famille. Il faudra en louer sur Venice beach. Sur un séjour de 4 jours, en terme de ménage seuls les lits étaient faits et les demandes faites à l accueil (capsules de café mises à disposition gratuitement dans la chambre) n étaient pas honorées. Le parking est un atout réel dans le quartier mais pour un prix exorbitant de 55$ par nuit.

Great location, the view from our room was amazing!! relax vibe, very clean rooms, staff is wonderful. Noise level is high on the low floors. Don’t need a car walk to every thing. If you do have a car Valet is available and was easy to navigate.Everything you need for a beach day is provided, towels, umbrella and boogie boards. The hotel and rooms are truly unique. There is also a rooftop space available. This hotel has quickly become my go to when in LA. Highly recommend.

Had a really nice stay at this hotel in August. Stayed for 8 nights. All the staff were so friendly and reaĺly helpful. Would definitely stay again. Its a really cool hotel. Very clean and the decor in the bedrooms is really cool.

Just had another great stay at the Venice V Hotel. Last week marked my 4th stay at this center-of-it-all, steps-from-the-sand gem. From easy parking just behind the building to the friendly customer-service oriented staff (who I've found frequently go above and beyond), the Venice V consistently offers up comfortable accomodations on the super-convenient boardwalk location from the moment you arrive. This hotel, hands down, has become my go-to destination when a beach escape is needed. I've stayed in the Ocean Front 1 BR Suite (2x) and the Partial Ocean View Room (2x) -- in all cases, I felt the the rate(s) fairly reflected each rooms/suite's offerings/furnishings. Regardless of my accomodations, I've always appreciated the fridge, shower set up (pressure, soaps, and towels), and housekeeping services when needed. Access to a small ice machine is also something I find helpful. If Venice Beach is the vibe you're after, the location itself can't be beat. Coffee and multiple food options just outside the door on a car-free part of the street. Access to the beach is literally outside the Venice V's front door. And, as someone who likes to take long hikes while visiting the area, the V's location right on the boardwalk provides easy, hassle-free access to various beach towns and miles of scenic walking. One other thing I think is important to note: despite its location right on the very vibrant boardwalk, at night, I've never had an issue with noise from the street. In fact, quite the opposite -- I've always been surprised at how quiet the area is at night. I'll actually be returning this weekend for a mini getaway by myself -- and couldn't be happier with my choice to return to the Venice V Hotel.

The most cleanest and dog friendly hotel ever. They had snacks, dog dishes for our service dog and a bed! The front desk people were very friendly, helpfulI and answered any questions you needed. It was a beautiful historic hotel. But up dated in many other ways in your room. No complaints!! This is the place to stay!!

We got to the hotel late but I had called ahead and told them we were running late and it'd be after midnight before we arrived. The front desk was expecting us and was super friendly. There was a miscommunication between the Chase Travel site and the hotel and we were put in a single-bed room but there were 4 of us and I had reserved a double-bed room. The staff at the front desk immediately found us a room that accomodated us - (actually upgraded us to Pent House #1). Pent House #1 was amazing. The views were awesome. I come from Oklahoma where everything is a little more spread out - so the hotel room itself wasn't actualy a whole lot bigger than a "normal size" hotel room in Oklahoma - but the view was completely amazing. They brought us two roll aways and we all 4 fit comfortably in that room. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. The location can't be beat if you want to be in the middle of the action on the boardwalk. It wasn't too loud either. And the hotel has boogie boards and bikes you can just check out no extra charge. We will defintely be back!

Hele slechte accoustiek in de kamers waardoor je zeer veel geluid van buiten hoorde, alsook alle bewegingen van de bovenburen. Van een hotel van deze prijsklasse hadden we beter verwacht.

We had an outstanding stay, and a huge part of that was thanks to Tess at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, she went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of. Our travel plans shifted last minute and she accommodated a late check-in without any hassle. When she found out it was a special trip for us, she arranged for a room upgrade that made the whole stay feel extra special. Partway through our visit we ran into a small issue with our room, and Tess handled it immediately, checking back in with us afterward to make sure we were happy. What stood out most was how warm and attentive she was the entire time — nothing felt like an inconvenience to her, and she genuinely seemed to care about making our trip great. Hotels are only as good as the people running them, and Tess is a huge asset to this property. If you're staying here, hope you get to interact with her!

LoVe, loVe, loVe Venice V! Let's face it, the hotels in the area can leave a lot to be desired. Discriminating tastes don't naturally fit the VB vibe. But when you want to truly experience the area you want to stay in the heart of it all. Venice V Hotel is an oasis on the strip - sleek boutique with all the amenities and services right in the thick of it all. The front desk was always helpful, engaged, and made us feel valued. Valet parking is a must on the beach. And did I mention it's right o nthe beach? Literally - beach, shops, skatepark, even the FIFA World Cup Fan Zone on this particular weekend. They have bikes, skateboards, basketballs, towels...anything you need to experience Venice Beach like a local. Plus my teens loved the boxed water. I'm eager to return to the area for future trips and would certainly make this my first choice.

Comfortable place close to the beach, great experience, comfortable clean rooms, and great jumping-off point for tourism in the area.

If you must stay in Venice, this is probably one of your better options but ultimately I would say steer north to Santa Monica. This hotel has the audacity to charge a “resort fee” and justifies it by allowing you to rent some bikes. Sorry but for me I can’t call a place a resort that doesn’t have resort amenities (spa, pool, restaurant etc.) It’s also hilarious to call yourself a resort when there’s an endless sea of homeless people out front (some of whom I witnessed smoking crack) Thankfully the staff was very friendly/helpful and the room was spotless so the stay wasn’t a total loss.

Since 19 April to today (23 June) is 65 days, you can definitely call out how long you’ve been chasing them. Here’s an updated version with that added: Extremely disappointed with both our stay and how our complaint has been handled. We stayed at this hotel expecting a comfortable and safe experience based on the online photos and description, but the reality was completely different. The surrounding area felt extremely unsafe, with large numbers of homeless people directly outside the property and clear signs of drug use nearby. We often felt uncomfortable and unsafe walking to and from the hotel, especially in the evenings. What made matters worse was the poor attitude from staff throughout our stay. When we raised concerns about safety, staff were dismissive and offered little reassurance or support. The most unacceptable incident occurred when a cleaner entered our room without knocking while we were inside getting dressed. We were shocked and embarrassed. Instead of immediately leaving, she continued toward the fridge/minibar area, making the situation feel even more invasive. Our privacy was completely violated. I formally raised these concerns in a complaint on 19th April and have now spent 65 days chasing a proper response. Throughout this time, communication from manager Tess Dune has been extremely poor. My follow-up emails have largely been ignored, and when she has responded, the tone has felt dismissive, rude, and lacking basic empathy or professionalism. Despite the seriousness of these issues, I was simply told no refund would be offered, with no meaningful attempt to resolve the complaint. The lack of accountability and customer care has been shocking. A hotel should provide guests with safety, privacy, and respect — sadly, this hotel failed on all three. I would not return and would strongly urge others to think carefully before booking. That “65 days chasing a response” line makes the review much stronger because it shows this wasn’t just a one-off poor reply.

Rooms look the same as they do online. We booked the double and it was very spacious. Some staff come off as despondent but Tess was the absolute best in service and hospitality, you’d be lucky to have her check you in as she has the best restaurant recs and the warmest spirit.

A gem in the heart of Venice! Soon as you step in your surround by classic architecture matched with modern art that brings the aesthetic of Venice to life. We used the valet service located right behind the hotel... Easy, and safe worth it! The staff was lovely, everyone was super kind and helpful... The have so many amenities to share with guests. Free bikes, skateboards, beach umbrellas, towels, ear plugs... And so much more. We stayed in a king suite that had a sitting room with a pull out couch (great for our toddler) with a separate king room in the back. We had a beautiful view of the beach and our son loved watching the waves and bike path. The beds were super comfortable, the double head shower had great pressure. The room had a mini fridge with free water and coffee plus other snacks and drinks for purchase. The location was stellar! Right downstairs was the local favorite coffee shop, Groundworks, along with a juice shop, smash burgers, pasta and so much more... That was right out the door! The skatepark, and huge playground was just a quick walk down the boardwalk or walk up the street to the iconic Venice sign. My family had a great time and would definitely come back and stay with them again.

Room was very cold and the heater was inadequate to warm up a big box of cold concrete. Staff said just wait 15 minutes, We waited all night in a cold room. Then we get charged for amenities. What the hell is that for? This is not the Bellagio.

Great hotel with a lot of character in a great location. Beautiful ocean views from the room, helpful staff. Hotel has beach towels and chairs for the beach, which is front of the hotel. Many Bars and restaurants to walk to and other activities. Definitely recommend staying here.

The Staff was exceptional. There was a snafu with our reservation and Tess was so generous in helping us sort it out. The parking attendants were especially nice, and we loved the central location. The bikes were so much fun and the views from the room were fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Venice Beach!

I dont think you can ask for 1) a better space/view/vibe 2) a better location Or 3) better options for food coffee and meandering Was there a bit of an issue with a displaced women crying loudly and some fighting amongst the displaced, yes, but the cops got there and it settled in. Have a mind to how fortunate you are for a healthy mind before staying here. If you are into the vibe of skatepark dance parties and experiencing culture, this is your space. Walking to the pier or riding a bike THE HOTEL PROVIDES FOR FREE!? Things of note. The attention to detail in the rooms like the tile work and the wet bar for purchase, made a great place an excellent one.

Coming off a seven day cruise For my wife and I 25th wedding anniversary. This was a great hotel to end our stay. Location is great staff was exceptional. Always to know if there was any way they could help us or make our stay more comfortable. Would recommend this to the family and friends anytime.

The location was perfect walking distance from places in Venice! The hotel was very clean, rooms were amazing! Had the most amazing long weekend at the Venice V Hotel with my boyfriend. This is my second time staying here and I love how each room has its own unique vibe. I've stayed in the morocco suite (penthouse 6) as well penthouse 2 and they both have amazing bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Penthouse 2 has an unbeatable view! The rooms are very clean and I love the atmosphere. The staff is so accommodating and friendly- Tess, Gabriel & Irvin were all amazing and made sure our whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. A huge plus for us that it is dog friendly!

Loved the room we were in. The light was everything :-) Loved the bicycles and the location was superb. The little inside balcony where we ate our dinner and watched the sunset was so beautiful.

Excellent hotel, cool heritage building, renovated, clean and safe. Right on the beach in the middle of the action, but quiet at night for sleeping. Endless restaurants, shops and activites. Complimentary bikes and skateboards to use, we biked to santa monica pier and boarded in the skatepark, walked, ate and hung at the beach. (Less pot and smoking in the area would be great). Gabreil at the front desk was amazing, a star in customer serice you just don't see anymore. Venice and the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Just had the most amazing overnight stay at the V. I stayed in PH2 which has wonderful sweeping views out over the beach. The room is spacious, very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Even has a shower with beach view! Tess was so welcoming when I arrived and did everything to make sure I was comfortable, she is a very special person. I love Venice and being in this amazing room made me feel I was part of it, I felt I never wanted to leave. When next in LA I shall definitely be back at the V.

Man muss halt die „locals“ bzw. Nachtschwärmer vor Ort (vor allem abends) für die Location inkaufnehmen; aber sie tun nichts und falls es mal was lauter werden sollte, sorgt die Polizei für Ruhe.

Stayed at Venice V - excellent choice all around. Right on the beach with a cool, relaxed Venice vibe that feels authentic, not overdone. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed - comfortable without trying too hard. The staff really stood out - warm, attentive, and easy to deal with. Just great people. Location is perfect - steps to the beach and an easy walk to Abbot Kinney for great restaurants, coffee, and shopping. Would absolutely stay again.

A lovely room in a lovely hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly. We arrived mid-morining for a mid-afternoon check-in, they got the room ready within the hour. They offered good food recommendations and were very nice. We stayed in Penthouse Two, a corner room facing the beach. The room is large, clean, simple, and light. The bed is comfortable and we slept with the windows open, listening to the sound of the ocean. My wife and I were in LA for the week because I had meetings, stayed at a perfectly reasonable hotel in Hollywood. We were at the V on the last night so we could get at least a day of vacation for both of us. I love Venice Beach, but haven't been in years. This was the perfect hotel for a relaxing night in a beautiful place. As an aside, I was pleasently surprised to see that Small World Books is still open, worth checking out.

There was lots of good restaurants nearby. The room was amazing, the skateboard decorations were sick. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The view of the beach was great. The robes were awesome, we've ordered them online to buy our own! There's free bicycles and skateboards for 2 hour rentals which is awesome but we didn't have enough time to use them. I imagine they would be very popular in summer

The fridge compressor was quite loud when it switches on, especially in the middle of the night. It would be better positioned near the balcony not near the bed.

A great choice if you want value for money and to be in the heart of Venice Beach. It has a great funky vibe inside the room which makes you feel happy. The room I had was a great size and the view out was 10/10. I would definitely go back in the future. The staff were super friendly too.

The Venice V is perfectly located on the boardwalk, walking distance to anything you might need. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are lovely and so well appointed. Parking fee is a bit expensive, but public transportation and waymo/uber is quite convenient and able to get into the alley. Nice place to view sunrise and sunset

Super friendly staff, great food and drinks really close walking distance. Literally right on the beach. We got to wake up and drink coffee on the penthouse rooftop patio and watch the waves crash.

Beautiful oceanfront views and it was old and beautiful and well cared for and updated.

It’s a little noisy, I needed earplugs to sleep but it was worth it for the views and proximity to the fun beach vibe.

When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine as a welcome gesture — a thoughtful and generous touch. The room itself was perfect: impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The amenities were excellent and of high quality, with a refrigerator and coffee available in the room, as well as coffee conveniently offered in the lobby. The hotel’s oceanfront view is simply outstanding — truly one of the best. Additionally, the penthouse (PH) offers a beautiful, relaxed space to sit, talk, and share moments while enjoying the surroundings. Finally, the location is unbeatable: directly across from the beach and just steps away from the iconic Venice canals. The property was great. Right next to the beach and there’s some great places to eat nearby. The front desk staff were nice and very attentive to our needs. The locked doors make it feel much safer.

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay at Venice V Hotel. We experienced very friendly and helpful service from the staff and they were able to give us recommendations throughout our stay. The penthouse room was beautiful with excellent views. The hotel is well-maintained and quiet.

Valet parking hors de prix (55$) sans taxe pour un petit nuit de 23hr @ 9hr. Autant plus que nous avons garé la voiture nous meme. Dans un 5 etolie sur le strip a Las Vegas les hotels de type Bellagio, Wynn, Conrad propose le parking a 25$ maxi le nuit.

Very nice boutique hotel - with an eye on every customer’s detail. Lovely staff. The take care that everything is organized well. Even getting a rental car. Ideal location at the beach.
