Convenience of being in hotel where wedding was taking place that we’d been invited to

It was over priced - rooms and food. Even though it’s a spa resort , the gym was tiny and the sauna wasn’t working.

Absolutely everything about this place is perfect, we loved it!

The staff are friendly and very accommodating, they go out of their way to make sure everything is right and that you are happy. Rooms are luxurious, very well kept and really clean. The beds are extremely comfortable aswell 👌🏼

Very rude on the Hotels part No communication when i E mailed them Unfortunately i was ill although i had booked a non refundable room i asked if we could come at another date . Wish i had just turned up with covid and an upset stomach .

Telly didn’t work properly in the room also urine over the toilet lid when we arrived also could only order 1 drink in the pool area as we went to order another it said service had finished this was in the afternoon….other than that it was a enjoyable stay

We were due to stay at Cave Hotel last Sunday to celebrate our 2-year wedding anniversary. We had booked a non-refundable, non-changeable room, but unfortunately, due to an unexpected emergency, we were unable to make it. It was already an incredibly difficult and stressful day for us, and on top of everything, the thought of losing the money we had saved for our anniversary stay was really upsetting. We rent a flat in London and, like many people, most of our income goes towards everyday life. My husband even works a second job so that we can put a little money aside for things like this, so losing the booking would have been a significant financial loss for us. However, Alex was incredibly kind and understanding and went out of his way to accommodate our circumstances and move our reservation for us. I honestly cannot put into words how much that meant to us. At a time when we were already going through a very difficult day, that kindness and understanding took away an additional worry that we really didn't need. It’s easy to remember a hotel for its beautiful rooms or facilities, but it’s the people and the way they treat you when things don't go according to plan that truly make a difference. Alex showed genuine compassion and went above and beyond, and we are so incredibly grateful. We are now really looking forward to celebrating our anniversary at Cave Hotel, and we will always remember the kindness that was shown to us. Thank you so much, Alex, for making a difficult situation that little bit easier. It genuinely meant more than you know.

The spa was very dated and rust could be seen around the pool area. Steam room was not working and the whole spa experience was below standard

The food we had was incredible, dinner at the Firepit and breakfast at the Korean Cowgirl. Couldn’t fault a single thing!

they should tarmac or lay pavement in the area immediate in front of the ground floor restaurant because as you eat all the dust comes into your food and clothes , this is a major problem for all clients

We had a fantastic stay at Cave Hotel. The hotel was modern, clean and very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were amazing throughout our stay, but a special mention goes to Alex, who went above and beyond to help us. He genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great experience, and his friendly, professional attitude really stood out. He made our stay even more enjoyable.

Not great value for money, we got woken up by a leaking shower at 2:45am. Called reception and they came up and offered us late check out (we were already offered this at check in due to wrong info. The staff were friendly however the spa was very dated, dirty and the stairs were rusty due to being old. I wouldn’t stay again

Dark rooms. Only blackout curtain so when opened everyone can see in the room day and night. Golfers awaiting to tee off chatting outside room at seven AM at least ten golfers. Very expensive would not recommend.

We enjoyed the air-conditioned, dark cool atmosphere of the room. Slept great. It was also nice to hit some golf balls at our leisure. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

Gorgeous room, super soft comfy bed, amazing food at the Korean cowgirl restaurant. Prosecco on arrival was a nice touch.

Shower was a little too hot without being able to turn down which was odd, spa area could use a little tlc but nothing major

Aircon issue but realised too late so slept with balcony door open. Need hooks outside of shower for towels. Shower was also dark so extra light would be useful.

My room was down graded due to apparently another person booking at same time however The cave didn’t make me aware of this until 9.30pm the night before we were due to arrive even though I had booked 3 days earlier so it was impossible for me to find an alternative hotel. The spa is quite small and the computer system used to order drinks wasn’t working so we had to go outside of spa to order drinks, room service wasn’t exactly quick and we also had to wait quite a long time for that also, disappointed at the cost and although all staff members were lovely they seemed understaffed as everything took so long even check in we waited over 45 minutes to be checked in

The décor and overall property were absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, and maintained to a very high standard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, without a doubt one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in! The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Korean Cowgirl restaurant, which was fantastic, and the breakfast was equally delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The spa facilities were pleasant, although they were somewhat smaller than anticipated.

This hotel is amazing you feel really relaxed as soon as you walk through the door and the welcoming drink was a really nice touch Alex on reception was really helpful and so professional

The food in the fire pit was not as hot as I would of thought temperature wise that saying it wasn’t cold and the portions size was a bit on the small size for starters but the flavours and detail was top notch

Was really excited to stay here originally as it’s been on my shortlist. However the sauna and steam room were not working, nor did they have the digital fire place on in the spa which I’ve seen on tik toks. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to come here so unfortunately I was disappointed with this experience

The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and are one of the main reasons we returned, having stayed here before. The staff were friendly and welcoming at check-in, and overall the hotel provides a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The spa was a little disappointing. We were aware it was relatively small, but as the hotel promotes itself as a spa hotel, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of recognition for our wedding anniversary. We had noted this when booking and were also asked at check-in whether we were celebrating a special occasion. Unfortunately, there was no card, chocolates, or any small gesture in the room to acknowledge it. We enjoyed our stay and the comfort of the rooms remains a real highlight. However, when guests choose a hotel to celebrate a special occasion, it's often the small personal touches that make the experience memorable. Sadly, this was missing for us, which would make us think twice about returning for another celebration or recommending the hotel to couples marking a special occasion.
