The bed I slept on was a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom was small, it was a decent stay overall.

The bed was small and very very soft and for some (like myself), that isn't ideal for the back. It was also very hot in the room, and no fan available. The window can be opened but there is no screen.

Reviewed May 26, 2026As a couple who are well travelled, we can honestly say that our stay at this establishment was exceptional. It was clean, comfortable and the breakfast really did set you up for the day. Cristian our host was very welcoming and helpful and took the time to talk to all guests. The guest house is situated in an ideal place for walking into town, golf course, black spout, train station and bus stops. You do have the railway track at the very back of the property and when a train passes it does make a rumble between 6am & 10pm. But its not a problem as your out and about enjoying the surrounding area. Would we return.....yes in a heart beat

Reviewed May 21, 2026Location is very good, right in downtown. Big bath towels!! This was very refreshing compared to most other places. We had the family room which had 2 bedrooms and even a little kitchenette with a mini fridge, which was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious with a great vegetarian option, although the continental part is a bit sparse (but still good). We arrived late and Christian made sure we could access the room and left detailed instructions about everything.
There's a train track right by the lodge and the whole house rumbles and shakes every time it passes. Last one was around 11pm and first one at 6:30am, but none during the night.

Reviewed May 9, 2026Die Villa mit Aufenthaltsraum ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten sehr gepflegt und am Abend sogar farbig beleuchtet. Geschäfte, Bushaltestellen, Einkaufsmarkt sind kurze Wege zu Fuß. Parkplatz vorhanden.
Es war alles in Ordnung.

Reviewed May 1, 2026Christian was very informative and welcoming. In the town which was good for us. A good choice of breakfast menu. Went to get some tinned fruit from bowl, none left. Great for parking.
Room not big enough. No where to hang anything. 2 foldaway wooden chairs to sit on in the room or sit on the bed. Too cramped for us.
