Very close to restaurants bars and shops.

Room was pretty small with little space to lay out a suitcase.

Excellent accommodation, up to date, well maintained, comfortable, clean. Owners friendly and professional in the best way. And a surprisingly quiet location.

Parking isn't as simple as you might imagine - limited spaces, if every room had a car you'd be looking to park elsewhere - which would be easy enough as there are two public car parks right there.

Location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff

Les équipements, la propreté, le soin apporté aux détails de la décoration sont parfaits. L'accueil est réactif, enthousiaste et aimable.

Le stationnement des véhicules n'est pas pratique. Le parking est exigu et les véhicules se "bloquent" les uns avec les autres. Enfin, la vue sur la route au dessus du feu rouge et du passage piéton est décevante au regard de la qualité de la chambre.

Ottima struttura, in centro, parcheggio anche in zona. Nella stanza abbiamo trovato quanto attesa, e anche di piu' visto che c'era un assaggio di Whiskey e cioccolato.

Colazione non inclusa, nell'edificio si sente l'odore del ristorante vicino ma grazie alla varie porte non si sente nulla in camera, quindi niente di grave

Excellently located in the centre of Pitlochry. Near the station, the theatre, the restaurants and the shops. The host gave us a warm welcome. The room was small but lovely. The shower was excellent and there was a tea and coffee option in the room which is always a nice touch.

Very central, but was a lovely little courtyard beautiful flowers and parking too! Lovely little gem. Rooms were great clean modern and comfortable, host amazing very friendly and welcoming, nothing was a problem Very happy.

Pleasant room with comfy bed. Good bathroom. The added touch of some whisky was very welcome. Mains sockets near the bed allowed phone chargers to be connected up.

All was quiet until the people in the room next to us arrived late in the evening. The wall was thin enough that we could hear everything they were saying.

Finding the premises

I met the owner Stevie briefly. He was great and helpful for everything I needed. The room was awesome - everything that I needed and great location too. The internet was super fast, amazing shower. Put it this way. Next time I'm in Pitlochry, I'm staying there :)

If anything at all...I had a room with twin beds. I think I would go for the double next time, but that isn't a gripe, just a personal preference.

We had a great time at Pitlochry, the location of the Garden rooms made it very easy for us to just walk everywhere. The people were very welcoming and gave us super helpful advice.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Garden Rooms and only wish we’d booked longer! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect, with the town, river and dam all an easy stroll away. Johnny was a fantastic host, friendly and full of great suggestions for a self-guided walking tour of the area. We’d happily return for a longer stay.

The staff were all very approachable and friendly. The decor was excellent and represented flowers and greenery, which fitted in nicely with its name. Very professional in every aspect and the menu was varied and prepared to a high standard.

Booking.Com could help by explaining where it is situated when the booking is made as opposed to a day or so beforehand.

Asked for Coconut Milk which was acknowledged when we asked for there Julie didn't knew anything about it as the message had not been passed on, but Julie resolved it by purchasing a can of it for us.

Hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. It’s in a great location and breakfast was absolutely lovely.

Perfect location, lovely room and spotlessly clean. Although breakfast is extra, there was gluten free bread and I had perfectly poached eggs. 11am checkout meant I could go for a walk after breakfast and before catching train home.

Breakfast excellent so much choice and made to your order.Three minutes down the hill from train station.The room we had was the last one available twin beds but could fault any of it toiletries even facecloths also a wee whisky in room for us if we wanted it.Staff were very nice would do anything to make our stay memorable. Jackie smiled and said all the right things but was not welcoming. There was a smell of frying/cooking as soon as we walked in the main front door. This became stronger in the corridor upstairs and even lingered in our room. I think it was coming from the Garden cafe downstairs as there is only a curtain separating it from the rest of the property. Parking is an issue. Two of the 5 parking spaces are directly behind three others and blocks those cars in. We were blocked in when we wanted to leave but had to wait for the staff to contact the other guest to come back to move his car.

Lovely, clean, comfortable room and although small, had everything we needed. Loved the shower room, shower was fantastic and towels/toiletries were great. Good attention to detail.

The cooking fat smell from the cafe kitchen below was overpowering.

There was no sign to show where the entrance is to this hotel as they share an entrance with another hotel, they do write that in the email but would've been good for clear signage. The bed was quite small so for couple best to ask for twin single.
