I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel in Nuwara Eliya. The service was virtually non-existent. There was no room service available, and the basic amenities were missing—the washroom had no soap, and they didn't even provide any drinking water in the room. It was a very poor experience and definitely not worth the stay. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026Im am Sri from India. It was a nice stay for us @ ChandraSobana home.stay @ Nuwara Eliya. Located centrally with good views around. Host Srirama Jayam and her wife are nice persons. They can arrange their Tuk Tuk or car for the sight seeing at reasonable price.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026The homestay is located very close to a tea picking farm just 5 mins walking where you can go and pick tea leaves Ur self. The homestay is run by an Indian family who are extremely welcoming, warm hearted and polite. Special thanks to Little Anjana for her warm hospitality. The rooms are warm and hot water provided in the bath however need to put an exhaust fan in the washroom for ventilation. The toilet is located outside the bed room and has a curtain separating the area. There's a camera in the hall area which is a slight invasion of privacy. It's located around 5km from the city center which makes it a task to get into the city. No bath towels provided. Overall a pleasant stay.
Located 5km away from city center. Didn't like the tacky colours of green in the room. Exhaust fan needed in the toilet ,no widow or ventilation. No bath towels provided. Curtain used to separate the toilet area. Camera in the hall area invasion of privacy.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2025They were talking friendly. Mostly we can adjust things by discussing. Bath rooms are clean and hot water is available. This is near Gregory Lake in Nuwaraeliya. The place is protective for visitors.
If you want to check out at a specific time, use wash rooms as early as possible. Because, if you book with a shared bathroom, others will also be occupied in it and you'll have to wait a little.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2025A brilliant home stay with a wonderful family. We arrived late and were offered tea on arrival (which was very nice). The room also had everything we needed for our brief stay. We were also able to leave our bags with the family whilst we had breakfast and took a walk around the town. We were pleasantly surprised how good the kids' English was. It was lovely to speak to them for a while and learn about their favourite parts of Sri Lanka. They are a credit to their family. Would definitely recommend if staying in Nuwara Eliya.

The location was convenient, close to key spots and easy to get around. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant experience—would definitely recommend.

They were super friendly.We stayed for a couple of days and it was super cozy and I loved the personal touch that was given us.The rooms were clean and well-maintained.Thanks Mr. & Mrs Ram for your exceptional service.Also thanks Arjuna and Ashwin for friendly and sweet and always there to help, when needed. We really felt at home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay. We will definitely visit again.

It was a disaster. I request booking.com to be a little more professional as all reviews on booking.com are fake. This owner has all fake reviews from Srilanka. Room was dirty, messy and full of smell. Bed sheets were dirty. Washroom was without light. All was broken in washroom. Mosquitoes were there, many other flies were there. What could else should I tell you.
