Service bon repas et le calme
Propreté calme et politesse bon repas
This is a lovely property from a bygone era. It interior is very elegant with many cozy spaces to enjoy. The breakfast staff were very accommodating to ensure we were on time for my niece's wedding at another venue.
The rooms were a bit small but in keeping with the age of the property.
stationnement
Dog Friendly! Nice large grounds to walk the dog.
It bothered me that there was only a night table on one side of the bed (if you are a couple) Had to place my phone and glasses on the floor.
We liked our room, which was ample and had an electric chimney, overlooking the lake. The spa was beautiful, with a hot tub the size of a small pool, overlooking the beautiful garden. The property is very stately and interesting, we enjoyed the different areas to sit down and relax, and the grounds are very well-entertained, manicured almost.
We have stayed at other R&C properties before, and this was the first one with no wind-down evening room service offered. This should be a must for a truly luxury stay. Also, the restaurant menu was a bit overpriced. Finally, we forgot the charging cable for our iphone, and there was none available for us to borrow (a staff member kindly plugged it with theirs for a while).
Beautifully landscaped, sublime setting, stunning remake of a century-old manor.
Only complaint is poor lighting in our room. No bedside lamps, very dim lighting in the bathroom—impossible to out on makeup. That defect really undermined the stay.
Everything!!!! We cannot wait to return to this gem of a resort.
Nothing.
Rooms are beautiful Property beautifully decorated Food very good Staff very nice
Location a bit secluded
La nourriture, le staff et le spa
Le hammam
Spa, Hammam et jardins. Literie très confortable. Grande salle de bain. Parties communes remplies d'histoire.
The property is just lovely. The staff is the best part in my opinion. They're very pleasant and friendly.
Great

The setting is beautiful and the public areas are nice. The rooms are fine, but missing the small details of a typical R&C. Staff were nice, but were often not available to help, for example with taking bags to the room.
The property seems understaff. Service js slow at breakfast, no one at front desk often and no one to help take bags to/from room that was in another building.
La chambre, la propreté et la nourriture.
Service un peu long pendant les repas.
Wonderful breakfast!
Spa facilities
Amazing location near the lake and forest, excellent breakfast and diner, swimming pool outdoors.
Not enough sofa’s, seats, etc in common spaces for reading etc. The space near the bar is too dark to read in the evening and quite often too busy. Room a bit small, 2 large suitcases don’t fit together on the floor if you still want to walk. Didn’t get new towels 2 days, asked a couple of times, got excuses but no towels. Especially for these kind of hotel-prices this should not happen.
This Relais et Chateaux hotel is located in the manor home of a former "rubber-baron", built above the shores of Lac de Sables in the mountains north of Montreal. It was expanded by subsequent owners, then acquired and restored. All of the fixtures and floors and furnishings are either original or true to the period, so the effect is walking back in time. It is absolutely gorgeous. A wonderful tour is given telling the history, pointing out the various features. It has a lovely restaurant with a view of the lake, and a beautiful garden around the pool. Everything is top-notch, as you'd expect in R et C properties. Highly recommend for a night or three away from the hubbub of the city! And, the price for what you get is sooo much lower than in the city, a real bonus.
Service at the restaurant was friendly, but a bit slow at breakfast and it wasn't even full. But it turned out one waitperson was new. I'm sure they have gotten the hang of it by now. :)
This is a luxurious and beautifully located hotel. Service and food were very good, although there are a number of small issues that could easily be corrected that get in the way of a 5 star review. In the bedroom, lights on both sides of the bed, please! In the bathroom, more towel rails or hooks - one towel rail in the shower area is totally insufficient. And at least one mirror in the bedroom, please! And re. the shower, who designed it so the taps/heat controls are at opposite ends of a large quasi wet room? And please more lighting and comfortable seating in the bar area - I know most people read from phones or tablets, but we were having to use the iPhone torch to read books and even the bar menu! Otherwise, we had a great stay! 😎
La beauté des lieux
This is a beautiful property in a beautiful area. The staff is very welcoming and happy to assist in any way they can. The downsides exist though. The property should advise when a wedding is being held so you can adjust your plans accordingly. The gardens are inacessible, the bar and outdoor patio were closed to hotel guests aside from the wedding guests and we could not access the restaurant for breakfast the day after the wedding. It was fully booked. This hotel is set in a nature area yet there are almost zero areas to sit outside unless at the pool. There are simply no chairs out. It was such a bizarre finding for such a large property. If you are in the annex building as we were, there is a small wooden rocking seat to share amongst the entire building. Such small gestures could entirely shift the feel of this beautiful location. Lastly, the one day we could access the bar, there was no cocktail menu. Just a mocktail menu. We found this odd for such a high priced location especially is a pre-holiday time of year. There is just a slight miss with this destination. It’s not fully thought out. We would still recommend but small adjustments as noted above could make a significant lasting impression.
Stonehaven is a lovely place - comfort, peace, great setting. Staff is helpful and friendly, and they have a first-rate restaurant. It's a short drive to Ste. Agathe as well as Val David, Ste. Adele, and San Saveur for those who like to look around. There are lots of trails at Stonehaven as well. This was our second stay here.
Accueil chaleureux, Belle chambre, piscine et jardins superbes
Restaurant décevant : tout est trop sophistiqué !
Epic Location, way more special on many levels than staying in any big name chain hotel.
Everything was wonderful! Staff is so nice. Food exquisite. Decor is magnificent!
Superbe we will be back !
Manoir splendide à l’extérieur et intérieur, paysage superbe, personnel vraiment attentionné
All good Just revise the usage of the in room A/C, hard to calibrate. In room chairs need better cushions. All else great
Séjour fabuleux dans un manoir datant de 1908! Excellent petit déjeuner dans un environnement enchanteur. Belle vue sur le Lac!
Tout était parfait
Beautiful grounds. Nice old building. Attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room. Free electric charging for car (two plugs). Next to hiking trails.
AC in room noisy with bright light.
Lovely manoir beautifully renovated, gorgeous furniture and art everywhere. However, our room was tiny and very average, nothing special at all.
We will always stay here when we are in Tremblant. Outstanding property!
Staff at the pool and restaurant were amazing but hotel staff especially at reception were very rude and unaccommodating for the slightest things.
very unique resort hotel quiet dining great staff excellent
Excellent experience with the hotel facilities, however, my first impression was not good as my room had not been cleaned and ready when I walked in and was surprised to see it that I was changed to another room. Besides, the introduction tour was cut short that I need to explore myself during the stay on the last day before checking out. It could be better…
Beautiful stay, beautiful old charm
Service was a little slow at bar/ lunch/ pool but staff was so pleasant it was hard to be upset
Friendly & attentive staff Beautiful grounds & very quiet pool area
For this level of hotel we felt a bunch of the smaller things were lacking; -Small thin pool towels -Tiny hair dryer -Only 2 shower towels provided in bathroom - room furniture was in an odd configuration, we ended up rearranging and putting the chairs together in the larger space by the window so we could sit together and chat -there was an ice bucket on the room but no ice machines - would be nice to have a booklet in the room to tell us a bit about the hotel's history and service offerings
This place is just amazing, calm, great food and excellent service
Suberb hôtel with very poor restaurant. This level of hôtel and restaurant offered average quality food but the quantity served and the prices were abusive (twice what you would pay on similar restaurants in Europe) to say the least. We will not be back at this hôtel, strictly due to the practice of the restaurant.
My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at this hidden gem. The room was pretty, comfortable and well-appointed. Dinner in the restaurant was exquisite, exactly what you expect from a relais et château. We stayed in January. We relaxed in the outdoor hot tub and sauna. This will be a regular get away for us.
I left my stay feeling pretty disappointed. The staff wasn’t very friendly, hardly anyone said hello. The room service wasn’t great either. The only things they really did were change the towels and rinse the coffee cups. I had asked for a fridge before arriving, but it wasn’t in the room. When they finally brought one, it was dirty and unplugged. The bathroom door didn’t close because it was off its hinges. I told the front desk, and they just asked if I was okay with it, but nothing was fixed. The bed wasn’t made during my stay, which has never happened to me before. When I asked why, they said it had been a busy day. Honestly, that didn’t feel like a good excuse. It made me feel like guests were being ignored because other events were more important. What saved the experience was the food and drinks. The quality was amazing. Big thanks to the chef and the kitchen team...everything was really tasty and well done. Quality was all there !
Awesome stay
Great view from nice deck outside room. Wonderful toiletries. Great shower. Great towels. Housekeeping each day. Convenient parking. Comfortable bed.
Bed was noisy. No place to put suitcases. ...other than lay on floor. Shower made the whole bathroom floor wet. No way to prevent sunlight in the morning (only had windows slats for privacy). Thought we were getting a king bed and instead had a queen size.
Beautiful Property, Incredible Food, and Top-Notch Service StoneHaven Manoir was absolutely worth the few extra kilometers off the bike trail. The setting is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. The food was outstanding—clearly prepared by a top chef—and every meal felt special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We used all the amenities: the pool, hot tub, sauna, well-equipped gym, and the Hamman (steam room)—all clean, relaxing, and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Quebec.
It’s beautiful!!
Extra quiet surroundings. Helpful staff. Excellent beds
