Great space, location and very friendly staff

De locatie, de sfeer, het zwembad en het ontbijt, het was allemaal zeer goed.

Het enige wat wij gemist hebben is een klein koelkastje op de kamer.

Logeerden hier 2 nachten tijdens onze rondreis doorheen Portugal. Werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw en gastheer. De kamer was top, matras van het bed iets te zacht (persoonlijk) en goed sanitair. Ontbijt was super. Aangenaam vertoeven aan het zwembad. Leuk adresje om de Douro vallei te ontdekken.

Lovely place to stay, beautiful room, clean pool, great breakfast. Carla was a great host.

Great experience all round.

We loved staying here and felt like we were home. At breakfast the hosts got the tables for our room and our friend’s room ready before we came and it was such a simple but nice gesture. We loved our stay, the place was beautifully decorated and all the appliances were great. The hosts were also very nice and available when needed.

La habitación muy bonita, amplia y acogedora, con una pequeña terraza exterior, la cama muy cómoda y el baño amplio, moderno y práctico. Los dueños son encantadores y te ayudan en todo, el desayuno estupendo. También nos gustó el entorno rodeado de viñedos. Cerca está el pueblo de Lamego y en la ribera del Duero Peso de Régua, desde donde salen barcos de paseo por el Duero.

Espaço muito acolhedor. Excelente pequeno almoço. Cama muito confortável, tudo muito limpo. D. Carla e Sr José muito simpáticos e prestáveis. Boa localização. Recomendo a estadia.

Lovely place held by a lovely family in the gorgeous Valley of Douro. The delicious breakfast was the icing on the cake of this wonderful stay.

Só tem lugar estacionamento dentro da casa para 3 carros. E 2 lugares estão ocupados pelos donos. Se não houver lugar disponível, o carro tem de ficar no exterior da casa, o que não é muito agradável…

Su ubicación, todos los detalles, el personal super agradable, la habitación muy amplia y limpia. Muy recomendable, volveremos seguro!! La hija nos llevó a una cena que llegamos tarde, todo facilidades y la dueña encantadora. Y además nos dejaron quedarnos con la habitación una hora más hasta que llegó nuestro taxi!! Un 10!!

O alojamento é muito agradável. Os quartos são grandes, a cama é confortável, e tudo estava limpo. O pequeno almoço tem uma boa variedade de produtos para alojamento local. Permitiram fazer check in 1h mais cedo.

Arrogância dos funcionários na hora do check out. Libertamos o quarto pelas 10h e ficamos na zona da piscina. As 11h em ponto fomos expulsos do alojamento. Não se trata de não ser possível ficar para além da hora. Trata-se da arrogância com que nos mandaram embora. O parque para os carros é muito pequeno.

Tout était parfait de l'accueil chaleureux des hôtes en passant par le charme de la chambre, la déco de très bon goût de la salle à manger avec un super petit déjeuner .

Carla and her family were so welcoming. It was a very comfortable place to end each day (and cool off in the pool).

Zeer mooie agriturismo, gelegen tussen de wijngaarden. Leuke patio met zwembad. Aangename comfortabele kamers en badkamer. Super vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Het is een heerlijke rustige locatie in de prachtige groene Douro vallei. Wij hadden de suite met balkon met uitzicht op de wijn velden. Carla en haar familie ontvangt je warm en met open armen en zorgt ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. De kamer is prachtig en smaakvol ingericht, is erg schoon en het bed ligt zalig! Het ontbijt is fantastisch. Zeer uitgebreid, veel vers fruit, sappen etc. Je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken of het ligt er, echt met aandacht en zorg staat het voor je klaar. Oh ja, en de tuin met zwembad met ligbedden en leuke zitjes beviel ons prima na een dagje toeren door de Douro Vallei.

We hebben er niets op aan te merken.

Such a beautiful place, wonderfully looked after, amazing pool area, fantastic breakfast and… most of all… lovely owners! We had a lovely one night stay and would definitely return.

Not really a negative at all, but cutlery and plates in the room would’ve been nice. Also, if you are visiting, make sure to hire a car! We didn’t have one and it was a 2km walk from the station (lovely walk, though, through vineyards and with amazing scenery!)

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Relógio do Sol. The hotel was spotless, beautifully decorated and maintained with great attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, with a delicious selection of fresh products. The owners are kind, welcoming and ready to help with useful information. As a small family-run hotel, it is personally managed by the owner couple. We truly appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel do anyone looking for a confortable and charming place to stay.

Accommodation was very comfortable with lovely decor. Clearly alot of thought has been put in to making Casa Relogio de Sol a home away from home. Pool area was perfect for relaxing and reading a book. Carla was an exceptional host and couldnt do enough to help, nothing was a problem. And breakfasts were a treat and savoured each morning.

Only challenge is if you dont have a car, you are reliant on taxis to get to Regua, which is only a five minute drive. The cost of each trip did start to add up.

Het was een zeer mooie en sfeervolle B&B. Nette kamer met koelkastje en koffie/thee faciliteiten. Leuke zitjes!! Gezellige ontbijtruimte met heel veel lekkere dingen die steeds worden aangevuld. Ligt heel dicht bij Regua waar je heerlijk kunt eten.

Het beviel prima maar voor ons zou het fijn zijn als er een paar schaduwplekken bij het zwembad zouden zijn.

Een klein paradijsje in een heerlijke omgeving. Fantastisch vormgegeven met natuurlijke materialen. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Lieve gastvrouw en gastheer.

Everything about this place inside and outside was outstanding. Apartment is very spacious as was the private outdoor deck. Other outdoor space so comfortable and inviting. We also loved the location. Quiet and out of the way but with easy access to the valley.

The Casa Relogio de Sol surpassed our expectations in all aspects. Carla was a very welcoming hostess, the place is beautiful and well located, the room comfortable and breakfast excellent. I totally recommend this place for people looking for a boutique hotel experience at the Vale do Douro.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit Flair

Carla is one of the best hosts. She arranged wine tasting next door for us, she cleaned our room after I told her she didn’t have to. Our room is big and beautifully decorated. We have our own patio! The swimming pool and sitting area is very inviting.

The indoor room was spacious and very comfortable, the outdoor spaces were so beautiful including our private deck. We ate dinner and sipped wine there several nights. Easy car access to many Douro activities.

We can highly recommend this place! We stayed 2 nights in the suite, large nice room with comfortable bed and balcony with vineyards view. Breakfasts were fresh, rich and wonderful. Carla, her husband and their daughter super friendly and made us feel so at home. They are interested in your well-being, take care of everything you need and give you the feeling that you are the main guest. Beyond that, further down the street is "Quinta de Pacheca", one of the oldest and most well-known wineries which of course also do wine tours and tastings.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel .Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und über eine Treppe erreichbar.Sehr gutes Frühstück.Pool war auch sehr schön aber für uns noch zu kühl.

The layout of the property is attractive, the courtyard is lovely with its orange & lemon trees, swimming pool, seated areas (couches, hanging swings, planters).

The use of chemical air fresheners. Not recommended for those with scent sensitivities.

Very nice stay. Large clean room with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing. Cute little gift shop in breakfast room. Very nice pool area. We walked to the winery down the street and had a bottle of wine and appetizers. Was very happy with our stay.

Room a tad dated (decor) but very large and clean. I'm just not a fan of fake flowers/plants. Just a tiny complaint because overall everything was great!

Tolles großes Zimmer, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit super Aussicht auf Weinberge, Auto steht sehr sicher eingeschlossen, sehr netter Empfang, schöner Pool, in dem man noch Baden konnte, super leckeres reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet nur für uns beide, man hätte beim Frühstück auch draußen in einem schön angelegten Garten (exotische Bäume) essen können, es fehlte an nichts, süße Katze. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

Carla and her husband runs a very neat, pleasant and beautiful bed & breakfast together. They are super friendly and we had a wonderful stay at their accommodations. We can highly recommend this place.
