Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast that was cooked to order. Very clean room. Beautiful rooftop terrace with nice views.

The rooftop at this property is absolutely to die for I think the best rooftop lookout from anywhere in San Miguel. The pots and flowers and how the entire property has been decorated is absolutely gorgeous.. The staff and host are so nice and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. It’s a very homie home type of feel which is so much better than a hotel. Definitely stay here. We stayed in room three and the king bed took up most of the room so it was a very tiny room, but it was not a problem at all. Everything is absolutely clean and very comfortable. Just like a home. I would recommend this 10 out of 10!

The location, the rooftop terrace view (spectacular!), the breakfast and the kind staff.

Bedroom space was a bit tight (I think I had a king bed, and there was little room at the sides for me to get around since my luggage was on the floor).

Quiet street and very close to the main square (La Paroquia San Miguel). Beautifully decorated. Has a roof top terrace with lots of plants and table/ chairs to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city. Great staff with lots of enthusiasm and who love their job as it is apparent in their customer relation attitude

La atención de la recepcionista, no fue empática, más bien falta de respeto con algo que escapaba a mí, es una lástima el hotel no lo merece y uno queda a merced de su capacidad de solucionar problemas que quizás con buenas ena voluntad, será algo sin importancia, nenis mal que otro hotel me ayudó y todavía espero respuesta de este que quizás no ocuparé más y tampoco recomendaré, no estoy dispuesta a tener que pasar por algo así, menos si uno se encuentra enfermo y lo puede demostrar.

La cama era muy cómoda y la vista de la terraza una maravilla. La ubicación es perfecta para disfrutar el centro de SMA.

La habitación es un poco pequeña, pero en general es muy cómoda.

The daily (except Sunday) breakfasts were very good, a mix of staples, like granola and yogurt and breads, with a cook to make personal omelettes/scrambled eggs and a few other bespoke dishes. The location was outstanding! A mere three blocks from the Plaza Centro, it was also just two-to-four blocks from half a dozen very nice restaurants where I ate daily, even with my somewhat restricted diet. The staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. The price was quite low--maybe a third of what other places ask. The terrace on the roof was splendid! Great views and a wonderful place to be. Two blocks in a southerly direction is the great Parque Benito Juarez, a public park.

I have to stretch to find anything I didn't like. One thing was the hot water took quite a while to become hot, and then it wasn't really hot, more like warm-plus.

Excellent stay... Delicious breakfast!

立地はとても良かったです。シャワーの湯加減も湯量も十分でした。調度品がおしゃれでセンスを感じました。 何といっても屋上からの景色が素晴らしかったです！

キングサイズのベッドでしたが、高さが高くて、腰掛けるには厳しかった。シーリングファンの作動音が少し大きく気になりました。照明ももう少し明るい方が良かったかな。朝食は日曜日だからと思うのですが、ちょっと残念でした。

The location is very convenient and easy to get to the city center, but the facilities are relatively old.

The breakfast was exceptional...coffee, pastries, freshly prepared fruit salad, yogurt, eggs cooked to your specifications and toast.

I wish that breakfast was served a little earlier. It started at 8:30 and I wake up around 6. But I found a place around the corner that was open and served coffee. The only other issue was the water pressure was a little weak and the shower water took at more than 5 minutes to get warm.

It was a nice property with a home feel. Very clean quiet and close to the Centro with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

What’s not to like. There is a hot breakfast included in the stay. The rooftop is nice and you can go and take pictures and listen to music watch the sunset and sunrise.

浴槽があるデラックスルームを選びました。 熱いお湯もすぐ出ました。 メキシコでバスタブ付きのお部屋は少ないので、日本から入浴剤を持参して、滞在中何度もお風呂に入ることができました。 テラスからの景色が最高。 中心街から近いのに静か。

お風呂にカビが散見されたので、水回りの清潔感があると嬉しいです。入浴剤でごまかして、見なかったことにしました。 12時チェックアウトなのに、8時台に朝食を食べている間にバスタオルや足マットがすべて片付けられていた点。 もう一度お風呂に入ろうとしていたので残念でした。

Todo, la ubicación perfecta, la terraza con una vista maravillosa, la casa en sí me encantó, la decoración, el servicio, el almuerzo era a la carta, definitivamente maravillosa la experiencia de hospedarse en un bed & breakfast 😀

La cercanía con el centro de la ciudad y la amabilidad del personal hacen que este lugar sea una excelente opción.

En temporadas de calor por las noches es un poco difícil regular la temperatura en la habitación.

Excellent location, large rooms, fantastic breakfast. The staff are lovely. Truly feels like you’re staying in a home. Excellent value.

A couple of things to keep in mind when booking this property. The location is very close to centro, and the trade off with the location is that it can be quite noisy. I found the bed to be very hard and the pillows are down - fine for some but not if you’re allergic.

I absolutely love staying at Casa Maricela! I recently stayed 12 delightful days and previously stayed there in January 2019, I enjoyed my first time there so much I didn't hesitate to reserve a room there for this recent trip April 2026. The staff is terrific, the proprietor Jesus makes sure you are very well taken care of, I much prefer the personal touch of a small B & B, so relaxing and comfortable. Delicious breakfast to your order, rooms are very attractively furnished and decor is lovely, much original art. Each room is unique and all so comfortable, modern bath amenities , all immaculate and bed very comfy for great rest. Large rooftop terrace with panoramic views, and property ideally located 5 minutes from central square. Great rates! I highly recommend and hope to stay at Casa Maricela again!

El baño no funcionaba bien. Al inicio ni agua tenía la taza del baño y nosotros tuvimos que resolver. El piso de la regadera le hace falta una buena tallada con buenos líquidos para quitar sarro. Y el lavabo sacaba un ligero olor desagradable, con un tapón se resuelve todo. La vista de la terraza a las 11h está bloqueada por las sabanas que lavan de las habitaciones

There was nothing we didn't like.

I love getting to meet people from different walks of life that I would not have ever met if I were in my daily routine back home. Additionally the Terrace On Top is a lovely place and I spent every sunset up there enjoying the time and space i loved the breakfast the staff was extremely attentive and the location is perfect.... close but not too close so that you get a nice quiet experience

Cuter than the photos, and my room opened up to an amazing room. I thought the value and centro location were great. And the breakfasts were home cooked and yummy. The rooftop terrace is fantastic.

Saturday night it was so loud until like 2 am (but this was due to staying in the Centro, and the rooftop clubs, and no fault of the hotel). Still, something to consider if you’re an early-to-bed person.

Everything. The location was about a block from the center square and quiet. Gorgeous rooftop with view of the cathedral and the valley. The room was very comfortable and everything worked well. Plenty of outlets to charge electronics. Purified water to refill bottles. A working fridge in the hallway to store any perishables and a very good breakfast of strong coffee or teas, fruit, yogurt, granola and eggs or pancakes. Excellent!

Breakfast was wonderful, fluffy omelette with fruit plate to start, delicious . Location was good steps to square. The other guests at breakfast were unexpected delight. This hotel is a very good value. Photo is from roof deck. Definitely recommend

The location was fantastic. Literally less than a five minute walk from the Jardin. Gorgeous rooftop terrace was the highlight of the property. Breakfast was great. Very interesting collection of mosaics throughout.

A Magical Experience at Hotel Casa Maricela I cannot recommend Hotel Casa Maricela enough! Our one-day stay coincided with the city’s 200th-anniversary celebration, and it was an experience I will never forget. Highlights of Our Stay: • The Best View in Town: We watched the anniversary fireworks directly from the hotel’s rooftop. It provided a stunning, unobstructed view of the festivities—truly a "money can’t buy" moment. • Impeccable Cleanliness: The hotel is super clean and well-maintained. • A Friendly Crowd: Interestingly, over 90% of the fellow travelers we met—at the hotel and around the city—were from Vancouver, Victoria, or Seattle! It made for a very friendly and familiar atmosphere. • Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast was a highlight. Beyond the great coffee and fresh fruit plates, we were served delicious omelettes as a main course. Final Thoughts: This isn't just a "3-star hotel"—it’s a gateway to an authentic and unforgettable experience. Between the incredible hospitality and the perfect location for the city's bicentennial, it was the highlight of our trip.

I have one major piece of advice for the management: Please retake your room photos! The current pictures online do not do the rooms justice; the actual rooms are much nicer, more updated, and more comfortable than they look in the photos.

Made to order breakfast, whole facility very clean, comfortable bed, heater in the room makes cozy nights in January when I statyed. Very quiet throughout the day and night.

Takes a little while to get hot water in the shower. Wifi is a little slow at times. Although all are adequate. Can hear the church bell from 6:30 am on, but not too disruptive to sleep.

Excelente ubicación, al llegar no parece lo lindo que es por dentro, una decoración preciosa, habitaciones impecables, habíamos reservado 3 y las 3 bellas, limpias, cómodas, la ropa de cama y paños limpios y huelen delicioso, tiene una terraza espectacular y el desayuno recién hecho y sumamente delicioso. De paso Jesús y Mauricio y las muchachas muy buenas gente, atienden espectacular

Shower takes long time to run warmer. Water was not hot enough and weak flow. Bedding sheet was not cotton, old fleece and blankets. No heating system but small gas heater on the wall. I felt unsafe to use it in the room.

I can’t say enough good things about out this place. It’s a great location .. very close to the historical center . The staff is wonderful! All very friendly and good at their jobs. The breakfast in the morning is great and something I looked forward to every morning…. they give you a choice of several breakfast options . I lucked out and got the rm that opens onto a terrace … and up the glass stairs is the upper main terrace. I think the first time everyone goes up to the top terrace they can’t help but say “wow!” They only have 7 rms here… so it is a pretty small place. I stayed for 2 weeks. The rms are cozy and charming. The showers are hot. Just an all around lovely place to stay.
