Amazing property with amazing staff ! Location is perfect, and right in the middle of Ahangama Staff are super nice, they really make you feel at home. Room was nice and clean. Thank you Harding team !

Hotel precioso, súper bien ubicado y con un personal encantador. Cuidan muchísimo los detalles: nos dejaron una postal, flores siempre frescas y hasta un collar con una flor de loto. La piscina es pequeña pero muy agradable, el desayuno tiene muchísimas opciones y todo está impecable. Incluso nos prepararon la cama para dormir, un detalle que nos encantó. El sitio perfecto para descansar después de recorrer Sri Lanka. ¡Lo recomendamos muchísimo! Y el último día nos preparon también desayuno para llevar, aun yéndonos a las 5am

The most lovely stay at Harding boutique. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very special thanks to the staff. The rooms for bright and comfortable. Great breakfast with lots of different options. Nice pool with sun beds and the option of lying on the beach on the bean bags. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and happy to help in any way! Would definitely stay here again :)

We loved everything about our stay! We arrived on low season, so the hotel was quiet and nice. Rooms were super comfortable- we stayed for 2 nights in the twin room in the other building and it was huge! Staff were 10/10, facilities 10/10, would definitely come back.

Excellent location- close to lots of shops, restaurants and has a small private beach. Brilliant facilities & delicious breakfast. Staff were amazing and went above & beyond to make our honeymoon stay extra special! Lovely rooftop & great food and cocktails

Loved everything

I stayed here for two nights alone recently, it was a great stay. The staff were very attentive, the hotel itself is very lovely and in a prime location. I enjoyed the sri lankan breakfast and a delicious meal at their rooftop restaurant. I would definitely reccomend.

The highlight of our stay was, without a doubt, the staff. In particular, there was one waiter whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, and I truly wish I could. He was exceptional in every way and deserves special recognition. Honestly, I believe he has the qualities of a supervisor. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. He checked on us everywhere , in the restaurant, at the beach, and throughout the hotel , always making sure everything was perfect. What stood out most was the passion and love he put into his work. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel as if we were at home rather than in a hotel. Thanks to him, our seven day stay was truly memorable and enjoyable. He was simply the best part of our experience, and I hope the management can identify him and recognize the incredible work he does.

The rooms were nice, and the view was beautiful. However, the hotel facilities were not what I expected—although perhaps I should have done more research beforehand. The pool was quite small, and there were very few amenities available. I also didn’t understand why the rooftop restaurant was closed on Wednesdays. In addition, the beach towels did not seem very clean, and there was noticeable noise from outside at night. The beach side where the sunbeds was so small

The only thing I didn’t like was that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator.

The hotel is beautiful and so is the room. Everything was great especially the staff. Hotel had a small beach front but was made good use of the space. Location was just far enough from the noisy bars but still easy walk to the shops.

No elevators so up and down 3 floors was tiring but staff were helpful with the bags.

Attention au détail, comfort d’un boutique hôtel.

The hotel is modern and very stylish, located right on the waterfront and next to the train station, which makes it very convenient for those arriving by train. Everything you might need—cafés, shops, restaurants—is within walking distance. I really enjoyed my stay and can confidently recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready to help, but the only thing that personally bothered me a bit is that they tend to ask a lot of personal questions. It might be a cultural thing, and it may not bother some people at all, but I didn’t always feel like explaining to every staff member where I’m from and so on.

Every detail is thought through to make your stay special and comfortable. The hotel is so beautiful, located right in the center of Ahangama by the best restaurants/bars/shops. There is a beautiful and secluded beach right in front, and it is just a 2 min walk to the bigger beach with all the restaurants. The breakfast is so delicious, I don’t understand the negative comments. It has everything you can possibly need. The rooms are so clean and beautiful, and the outdoor shower/bath were exceptional and really added to our experience. Apart from all of this - the absolute best part of the hotel is the staff! They were the kindest staff EVER, which made this the best hotel experience of our lives. Shout out to the exceptional receptionist Kaveesha, that was so attentive even before we arrived, and made sure we were comfortable and happy all the time. The security guard is one of the nicest, sweetest people I have ever met, even though we barely spoke the same language. He has such a calming and healing energy that was truly special. The staff serving the breakfast was also incredible, kind and even brought us towels when we were rinsing by the pool. The room cleaning services were spectacular - twice a day. Making sure the room was fresh, and gracing us with the cutest towel art. We appreciated the turn down service every day and really added to the luxurious experience. You will not regret by choosing Harding Hotel, it is by far the best option in all the South Coast. Cannot wait to be back!

Hotel is centered well at Ahangama center. However the beach road is not so safe for walking. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was quite average and simple. Coffee was worst I had in Sri Lanka. I had much better breakfast at other hotels in Sri Lanka. Bathroom had lot of ants, like in many other hotels in Sri Lanka. Still I didn’t expect to see those in 5 star hotel.

We were in the adjacent building and this had many ants and bugs and lizards in the room. The staff tried to spray something but it didn’t help.

Dieses Hotel war einfach wunderbar! Der Style ist industriell gehalten und ist sehr ästhetisch. Das Konzept zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch und ist total stimmig. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und fragt jeden Tag, wie die Nacht war und wie es einem geht. Die Zimmerreinigung ist super! Alles ist top gereinigt und sauber. Das Zimmer selbst ist einfach klasse 👍🏼 total sauber, schön und modern. Die Dusche und das Bad selbst ist richtig schön. Die Betten sind riesig und bequem. Abends wird das Zimmer sogar „bettfertig“ gemacht. Rollo runter, Bettdecke aufgeschlagen usw. Das Frühstück ist ne 12/10! Super lecker und viel Auswahl auf der Karte. Ich hatte in 5 Tagen jeden Tag ein anderes Frühstück und alle waren top. Der Pool ist super angenehm und die liegen so bequem. Wir können das Hotel zu 100% weiter empfehlen und würden es immer wieder buchen!

Great location for the beach and shops. Restaurant is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable, hired us a Tuk Tuk and gave us great beach recommendations.

Our first room from the ground floor doesn’t really have a sea view but the team moved us immediately and the 1st floor was perfect

Exceptional in every way! Loved the flower necklace and welcome juice. Great spicy margs and so nice to have your own private bit of the beach! The rooftop bar also a winner for sunset!

Amazing stay, small hotel with direct beach access, the rooms are very good, and the staff are super friendly! Location is excellent, directly in the middle of ahangama, we walked everywhere to local stores, beach front cafes and restaurants and everything.

It is too expensive to what you get. The pool is very small. And the addons are really expensive. Also the beach is tiny and felt unauthentic.

The staff was so friendly and caring, room and hotel was clean, food was delicious, breakfast menu is short but once you try the traditional Sri Lankan brekkie, you won't choose anything else. Location is perfect - close to cafes and surf spot right in front of the hotel. Nothing more to ask for.

Am ersten Abend hatten wir für mehrere Stunden (ca. 2–3 Stunden) kein fliessendes Wasser. Für eine Unterkunft in dieser Preisklasse hatten wir definitiv mehr Zuverlässigkeit erwartet.

The hospitality at this hotel was exceptional, incredibly professional but also very friendly and happy to help. The staff made our stay here! The bed was very comfy, there was excellent attention to detail and we loved the view from our shower. It was great to have the rooftop bar / restaurant.

The food and drink was expensive here compared to the local area. It would have been nice to have some complimentary water with breakfast.

Comfortable stay. We got a parking space with good security. I loved the area it’s located in, and the staff were helpful.

Nothing, I believe. Since I was there during the low season, there weren’t a lot of tourists, so privacy in the toilet wasn’t an issue for me. But during the busy season, toilet privacy might be an issue.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, trotzdem hat das Team innerhalb des Hotels eine ruhige Oase geschaffen. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und das Personal hat einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen gelesen.

Literally nothing.

Das Personal ist absolut der Hammer. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt und wir wurden wegen eines kleines Defektes der Klimaanlage sogar upgegradet. Das sea view Zimmer ist so unfassbar nice, dass wir gleich nochmal 3 Nächte verlängert haben :)

Das kleine Gebäude, was den Blick auf das Meer etwas einschränkt ist denke ich das einzige Manko.
