We arrived and didn't need to drive anywhere for 24 hours - we could walk to restaurants and bike to the mountain bike trails. The grounds are nice; it's like a fancy motel. The lodge area has nice big sunlit room for hanging out in. The room itself was fine—smaller than pictured. Also the room was stifling hot when we arrived, as the heat was set to 75!? It would have been nice to know how to safely and quickly get access to the recreation path.

The sauna was broken (and seemed like it has been for some time); this was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel over others. Staff told us we could go to their other property to use the sauna, but didn't tell us where it was (turned out it was literally next to this property, why they didn't explain to us that we just had to walk 1-minute is poor service).

Location was great. A lot of restaurants in walking distance. there was a fire pit that was on all day long which was great. Fresh towels by the pool was nice. Great hikes around the area. Staff was very friendly. Fresh coffee all day was nice.

The pool was nice and great view but it was not the cleanest. I thought the arcade would be free for guests but we had to pay for the games which was a big bummer. Breakfast was lacking.

This was my 4th visit to Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge. I first came to attend a girls hockey tournament and have come back every year to stay with friends while our kids attend hockey camp at Norwich University. The rooms are comfortable, clean with a vintage vibe. The lodge is warm and inviting and the staff has always been so friendly. We love hanging out there or out by the fire pits to wind down the day. I love that we can walk to town for a coffee in the morning, excellent breakfast options and The Bench across the street is perfect for dinner. I call it adult summer camp! The views and fresh air make for a perfect retreat. I tell everyone about this lodge!

This lodge is just off the main road with plenty of parking. We were given a room with two very comfortable beds. The check in process was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a large, comfortable recreation room with food on offer and several places to sit and eat/drink. The complimentary tea and coffee was very welcome.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Stowe. Staff were great. Rooms were spacious and private. perfect for a gathering with family or friends. Property was well maintained.

Was here with friends for a birthday weekend getaway. The resort was excellent and the accommodations were very nice. Used the hot tub and indoor pool, was right in the heart of Stowe. Can’t wait to stay here again!

I rarely write reviews, but this time... Starting with the good: nice lounge area off the lobby, and gave us a room upgrade (probably because we have Hyatt status and the lodge was not very full). Now to the really not so good: First, bugs in the shower and bathroom, and bugs in the room. Really. I took photos of them in the shower on the day that we departed. Would have told someone at the front desk, but no one there at 730 am (not some middle of the night time). Second, Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge did not honor the quote rate in my Hyatt/Mr & Mrs Smith reservation. Bluebird Cady Hill charged us more ($353) than what Hyatt reservation was ($322) was when we made it. When I nicely raised that difference with the front desk supervisor, her response was: "I would also strongly urge you to contact Hyatt and Mr & Mrs Smith about this quoting error as well as this is not something within our power at the property level that we can adjust. I will be sure to inform my team that this is an active error, and again want to thank you for your diligence and support." My response: "I appreciate your strongly urging that I contact Hyatt and Mr & Mrs Smith, but that’s really not how I want to spend my two days of vacation here. And, my guess is that they will, in turn, suggest that I talk with you. Suggestion: You/Cady Hill might consider talking with Hyatt and Mr & Mrs Smith so that you don’t have unhappy customers who are given higher total charges at Cady Hill than quoted by Hyatt and Mr & Mrs Smith. Thank you for considering" Come on folks, honor the quoted rate. Third, the Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge is understaffed. One person appears to cover the front desk and the place to make food orders in the lounge (and probably do other things as well. No one at the front desk for checkout at 730 am. I don't like to diss businesses in these challenging times, but feedback is important, too. Travelers to Stowe should be able to find better options.

Very dark room, almost no light comes in felt like in a cave . Also mattress felt worn out , no support whatsoever (caves in when you lie down)

Rooms were dark. Cleaning staff did not clean rooms. The walls were thin so you heard everything in the room next door!

nice place. close to lots of restaurants and actitives - They have a nice fire pit with chairs for a glass of wine at night. The rooms could use a bit more lights. Bend was comfortable and the shower was good Reagen was great!

Just another light in the room. and some additional equipment in the gym would have been nice. The walkway to the main building needs repair as it is not level so at night it could be a bit dangerous.

Charming and beautiful place!

Planned a spur of the moment weekend trip with my wife for our anniversary. Overall? Absolutely one of the best stays I've ever had anywhere. I highly recommend it! Location? Fantastic. You're not more than 15 minutes from anything (Ben and Jerry's factory, smugglers notch scenic route, some waterfalls and covered bridges, farms and amazing apple cider or maple syrup) and usually less than 10 minutes from most things (Stowe town village, a bunch of different shops, restaurants, trails, some waterfalls and covered bridges) it is a super convenient location for sure. Price? Competitive. It was one of the lower priced stays for what it offered, which was vast. Room? Cozy. We bring our own blankets cause it helps us sleep better when traveling but the bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious with the shower being integrated with the bathroom. Closet with a small fridge with a microscopic freezer. (Not a problem just a fact to prepare for) Amenities? They probably have it. (Not a steam room but literally everything else from a sauna, pool, Jacuzzi, gym, great room, pool table in the arcade, food menu you can order from, a fire pit and bike and hiking trails right out back) Concierge? Priceless! Had to save the best for last. Robin was the main day concierge behind the front desk between Wednesday and Sunday and was absolutely amazing. Robin provided my wife and I with information about the town and some off the more interesting places to check out, one being a place where a golden retriever experience was, Golden Dog Farm. On top of that, was kind enough to put our Ben and Jerry's pint in the staff freezer when we realized it would not fit in the one in our room so a huge thank you to you for that again Robin! (I have to assume you'll see this at some point lol) If you're staying in Stowe, why aren't you staying at Cady Hill Lodge?

This our 2nd time here. Our first stay 2 years ago was 10/10. This time, we couldn’t regulate the temperature in the room, no hot water in the shower or cold water in the sink. There was visible dust around the bathroom light fixtures, and the beds were not comfortable.

Really cool modern wooden-style lodge. amazing common area. nice pool and a hot tub. rooms have private balconies and access to the 'backyard'. Really nice staff. Walking distance from restaurants and downtown Stowe. Lovely!

Staff were helpful and friendly. Facilities/extras were great: fridge, microwave, fast teapot water heater, large room, excellent location.

Lighting was dim. Wall-hangings were few.

Great property with a good range of amenities

Helpful service and extras--like the whirlpool & spa for skiers (take your bathing suit!). This is a series of buildings--lodges--around the welcoming great room with some meal service. Rooms are large, Wi-Fi/TV/video very good, lighting dim, wall hangings sparse. Well-facilitated: microwave, fridge, fast hot water tea pot, tea, coffee, cream. In all, we felt well-cared for in a well-priced, non-luxurious but accommodating room.

We stayed at this hotel 12 years ago when it was the Golden Eagle. Cady Hill made fantastic upgrades to modernize the lodge. Our room was very spacious and comfortable.

Water took gallons to warm up. Once it heated up, very nice. I miss the breakfast from the previous owners.

perfect location. free/convenient shuttle to the slopes. many food options w/i walking distance and a café counter on-site that offers breakfast and stays open til 10. wood cottage asthetic. friendly/helpful staff. easy check-in/out. cozy rooms w. lots of pillows :) hottub and sauna; arcade for kiddos. accessible to wheelchairs etc. comfortable community spaces if you want to make friends. my brother booked a nice room w. a private porch and wood-burning fireplace <³ DON'T RELY ON UBER!! almost missed my train. book TAXIS to/from travel depots IN ADVANCE. ask at the desk for Stowe Taxi number and talk to PHIL, the angel.

Great breakfast spread every morning at the AWOL lodge with picturesque views of Mt. Mansfield. Very relaxing environment with upscale decor. Beds were comfortable and service calls were handled quickly.

a good location across from the Bench and near other restaurants and shops

this is not a nice lodge, but an outdated motel that should have been razed long ago. the ceiling in room is no more than 7' and even less over shower. owner covered over old floor with vinyl, painted the walls and charged a rate nearly equal that of decent lodges in the area. this place is no better than the snow drift, but at twice the price to fake out those unfamiliar.

Stayed here for a guys’ trip and honestly couldn’t have picked a better spot in Stowe. The lodge has that perfect Vermont vibe—rustic, cozy, and cool without feeling dated or try-hard. Plenty of space to spread out, hang out, and relax after long days on the mountain and long nights catching up. The location is clutch: close to town, close to skiing, but still feels tucked away enough that you can actually unwind. Beds were comfortable, common areas were perfect for late-night beers and laughs, and everything was clean and well taken care of. This place is ideal for a group—whether you’re skiing, hiking, or just looking to unplug and enjoy Stowe with good people. Zero complaints, lots of great memories. Would 100% stay here again.

The bed was great! The young lady we worked with at check in and throughout our stay ( Emma?) was very sweet and attentive. The room was cute- the recreation/lodge space was fine. The fitness and pool area needs some love! We have stayed at this property in the past, under different ownership, and can’t see where any updates have been made to the pool or hot tub. It’s pretty dated.

We had a wonderful family stay at the bluebird caddy hill lodge. The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious, and the lounge at the hotel was a great space for handing out, as well as the games room. Staff was super proactive and could not have been nicer. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Overall, the hotel made a very positive impression. The location is excellent, the facilities are well maintained, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The room itself was comfortable and met expectations, and the check-in process was smooth. The only notable downside was the room cleaning. Unfortunately, housekeeping felt superficial at times — dust was noticeable and some amenities were not consistently replenished. This stood out, especially given the otherwise high standard of service throughout the hotel. With improved attention to housekeeping, the overall experience would be close to perfect. Aside from this issue, the hotel is solid and easy to recommend.

Very welcoming and wonderful facilities. Lots to do especially for our children. They loved using the sledges in the snow and the games room. We loved the little extra- the goody bags for the kids and the board games in the lounge area. The lodge was always warm and welcoming. The facilities offered lots to do. The staff were very helpful and informative if we had any questions. The room was comfortable and cosy. Good location with lots of restaurants nearby to walk to. There is also a free shuttle that runs all day to and from Stowe to the ski areas.

Loved the lodge. Great coffee and tea always available. Rooms are very comfortable. Bonfire outside was so great to see even with the snow. The staff is great and informative. Being 15 minutes from Stowe and a short walk from town was perfect!

The location is excellent! A short walk to town, which is a great place for shopping and dining. Fantastic views of the mountains. A wonderful "Lodge" where people can gather around a wood burning stove, order snacks, read, play games in the arcade or just have coffee, relax and chat. Our room was clean, with very comfortable beds and a bathroom with modern fixtures and plenty of hot water. Exercise facility, indoor and outdoor pools and a hot tub. I highly recommend this establishment

Room decor a little dark

Spent two nights with my teenage daughter for her hockey tournament. Very happy with the room. It was perfectly clean and well appointed. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! It was spacious with room to spread out and a nice view of the mountains in the distance. The lodge is comfy and the people working were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water were available at all times in the lodge, with food to order at the bar. Lots of seating options - couches, tables and comfy chairs. The teenage girls loved the pool and arcade. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. A side note: I was surprised that the rooms were spread over a few different buildings and that the lodge was spend central. I was expecting it to be all attached/one hotel building. It was not an issue or a problem, just not what I anticipated after booking on the website.

The nicest property in the cutest town! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The grounds are big and beautiful. Walking distance to anywhere you’d like to go in the “downtown” Stowe area. The room was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone

We loved Cady Hill Lodge- perfect pet friendly family spot. Katie Hill Lodge was the perfect blend of styled and friendly. Our kids loved the pool and the main lodge had a great vibe. The smoothies in the morning were delicious and the pour over coffee in the room was a nice change from the boring coffee machines that typical hotels have. They gave us an upgrade because we were there in between seasons and our dog loved it also. Yeah, the kids loved the arcade which was not overwhelming and used quarters instead of gimmicky cards so the kids had a tangible idea of how much money was actually being spent which we as parents loved. We went there as a last-minute staycation, but I thought a lot about how friends and family that come to visit us. Would totally enjoy staying there too. Right on some of the best, most approachable mountain biking trails in Stowe, 10 out of 10 would recommend!

The cutest place with the most personality and charm, affordable and cozy! We loved the tea pot in the room! The pool, sauna and all amenities were wonderful.

What a cozy and comfortable stay we had! The staff was very attentive. We brought our dog and they supplied food and water bowls as well as a special treat. Our room was serviced daily and kept tidy by housekeeping. They have a simple food menu with drinks and desserts. The hot tub was the best we ever used with lots of jets and perfect temperature. We would come back for sure!

This place was amazing. A quick 10 minute walk to Main Street. There are great food options that are a 2 minute walk. The views from the balcony were beautiful, and provided a perfect place to sit and read. It was quiet and peaceful. I would 100% come back.

I didn’t like the lighting in the room. They are cool looking but don’t emit good light. The one bulb exposed in the ceiling fixture is not pleasing. A frosted glass globe or silk/paper shades provide proper lighting.

Super coole und moderne Anlage. Es gibt eine Feuerstelle und Whirlpool, der klasse war. Das Zimmer war schick im Cottage-Stil eingerichtet. Clean und modern, aber trotzdem gemütlich. Das Badezimmer war riesig. Das Hotel liegt nur einen 19-minütigen Fußweg vom Stowe Stradtzentrum entfernt.

Es war relativ laut, v.a. in der Früh. Das Essen im Hotel war miserabel.
