There was a musty smell in our unit. We opened both doors both it persisted. This unit in the older section - perhaps thats why.

It was modern and the breakfast option was very nice. The pool and mini golf on site were great options

Surprisingly we were upgraded and stayed in the new wing . Very clean modern ( European design) and all the comforts a person might wish. Kudos all the way around

Clean facilities, excellent location, simple, yet appropriate breakfast and very friendly staff who obviously care about their community.

We liked the room and the availability to have six people in the suite.

With that we had four kids and we could not afford the mini golf or much of the extras? We thought the mini golf was fairly expensive

I loved everything about this place! Clean and comfortable, loved the back yard area with the river and hammock and tables and fire pit. Mini golf, the breakfast, the bar. All the staff were super nice. So great.

We travelled by motorcycle and had to change date due to weather. Staff made it happen. Food was very tasty. The rain shower was excellent. Very quiet and relaxing.

The room was modern, clean and spacious. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The breads, muffins, danish and yogurt must have been locally sourced. They were so good! The staff was friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have mini golf, bowling and the pool on site. In addition, there were fire pits and chairs by the river to relax in. We walked to many restaurants and the bike path was right across the street.

I would have like an ironing board and iron in the room.

The river and grounds were so beautiful and peaceful. Loved the hot tub and morning treats.

The AC was aimed at our faces in the bed and very strong so we moved the pillows to the other side.

Ma soprattutto tutto ciò che ti serve per divertirti: bowling, mini golf, piscina riscaldata, falò per mangiare marshmallow, fiume, sdraio per leggere sotto gli alberi, salottino con camino, ... perfetto se avete dei bambini.

Non c'è la colazione. Ma ci si può organizzare e danno comunque caffè e snacks continuamente.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean. Location was exactly where we needed to be. Overall it was a great experience and Sun and Ski Inn and Suite made our trip worth it.

המקום עצמו מאוד נוח, נגיש, מסודר, נקי. צוות שירותי מאוד. על שפת נחל ומדשאות. יש באולינג ומיני גולף (בתשלום נוסף). יש עמדת קפה ועוגיות, ובבוקר יש גם כיבוד קל. יש חדר כביסה בתשלום. סה"כ המקום מאוד נחמד, מתאים לעצירת לילה. החדר מאוד בסיסי.

אין מזגן בחצי קומה למעלה, והילדים ישנו במיטת ספה.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ski Inn! The staff truly made the experience special. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. They provided prompt, detailed replies to all our questions before and during our stay, with lots of great ideas and recommendations. The conversations were always pleasant and genuine. Alisha especially went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. She upgraded us to a beautiful room with a balcony — spacious, modern, and newly renovated. The room was very well arranged and comfortable for our family, with everything thoughtfully set up. She even helped us find a can opener when we needed one! We loved the little extras, like the free cookies and coffee available all day. The hotel also gave us the opportunity to enjoy mini golf, and our family had such a fun evening. There were lots of people there, which created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. The swimming pool was another highlight for the family. We didn’t have time to try the indoor bowling, but we saw it and it looked adorable — great atmosphere with fun colors, music, a restaurant/bar area, outdoor seating, and cozy fire pits. The location is excellent, with free parking right in the middle of everything: shopping, restaurants, bike and walking paths, and many local attractions. It made exploring the area very easy. Breakfast was simple and light. The local yogurt was absolutely incredible — honestly one of the best we’ve had. It makes sense considering we were in the home region of Cabot and Ben & Jerry’s, where local dairy is such a highlight! Overall, this was an unexpectedly wonderful stay. The combination of friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, family activities, and a great location made it a memorable trip. We would happily return!

The resort was clean and well-appointed, the room was large and comfortable with good work space. The cafe being in the bowling alley was a surprise, but the food was good and the wine excellent. The pool area and hot tub were wonderful, and the many windows throughout made it easy to see people walking their dogs on the hiking paths, having fires in the firepits in the evening -- it was a wonderful stay. I would recommend highly to anyone but especially families and pet parents.

The staff were all so helpful and kind. The front desk gal Alysha was very informative and went out of her way. she came to our room to correct a problem we were having having with the air conditioner without delay

The Sun&Ski Inn is a wonderful place to stay, with bowling and mini golf on site. The location is perfect, close to trails, golf, shopping, biking, and excellent restaurants.

We recently stayed at the Sun and Ski Inn for a baseball tournament. We had 5 families and 8 rooms, and everyone loved the entire experience. The room had a nice balcony, and we were in the newly renovated wing, and it was beautiful. The rooms were updated with comfortable beds, a nice big bathroom, and plenty of room to walk around. The amenities were on point at this hotel. The pool and hot tub, river swimming available, corn hole, fire pit, hammock, mini golf, and bowling!!! I am so glad we found this hotel and if we are ever back in the Stowe area, we will 100% stay here.

We've been going to Sun & Ski for over 10 years - usually once or twice a year. It is always spectacular. If you have dogs, it is definitely the best spot in Stowe. The staff are amazing and always remember us and make us feel like family. Can't beat a river in the backyard either!

It was a good location, lots to do locally. It was very quiet, loved that!

The AC, need a manual to figure that out. Maybe someone before us had it on a timer but we would wake up freezing.

Loved the location on the river & near recreation trail. Also loved the mini golf, bowling, bar onsite. Also liked the fire pit, hammock, corn hole.

There was not anything that I did not like.

The amenities and the staff were awesome.

The air filters and vents in the room were caked with debris. HVAC maintenance needs to be much more regular.

The property is beautiful, the amenities are exceptional and the location is great. The front desk agent, Alicia, was professional, friendly and wonderful to work with. The bowling alley and restaurant attendant was professional, courteous and very friendly as was housekeeping. The room, furnishings, bed and decor were all very high quality and comfortable. This hotel is over the top in terms of quality, cleanliness and professionalism. The value received for the price is excellent and I will definitely stay again.

The loft room we were in was outdated & the actual loft area had no air conditioning, no dresser or closet & smelled like urine on one side. I know the other smaller rooms were updated so they need to update the loft rooms. Oh & don’t put people in a pet room when they gave no pet. Animal hair everywhere.

No hot water in afternoon and evening. Make sure you have shower before noon. They charged more than I agreed in the reservation. They have explained why they charged me more. So there is hidden fees. Be careful!!

This place is AWESOME...we got one of the older rooms and yeah, it needs updating but so what - just go open your back patio and enjoy your backyard instead b/c that is worth 10x the cost of your room. Just a beautiful relaxing spot by the river for you to enjoy! We even saw a bear stroll by in the morning. Also, if that's not enough - this place has an indoor pool, a small bowling alley, and a mini golf course. And a gym! And laundry facilities! If you have younger kids this place would be awesome and even if you don't, it's still awesome. We paid such a low rate (probably why we had one of the older rooms) but I feel we totally lucked out. In fact, if I stayed her again I would actually request one of the older rooms just so I can have access to the beautiful outdoor space again.

We found on our last day the TV wasn't working and the safe needed a new battery...but we didn't use either of them so it wasn't really an issue for us.

I just needed a room for the night. We arrived to find a fantastic room, mini golf right outside, bowling lanes and a restaurant. We had a great afternoon. The staff is exceptional. The fried cheese curds are the best ever!

From the moment we entered the hotel to check in we were treated with complete satisfaction from the desk host . It was full of information and was very knowledgeable on what the hotel offered as far as the amenities like the fire pit Samoa’s hot tub andpool and good hot coffee in the morning he even was able to upgrade us at no charge to a better room with a king size with a view of the beautiful river behind us we would definitely return to this location just perfect conditions all around

We have been coming to Stowe for the past 26 years and have stayed at the Sun and Ski for 80% of those visits. This place is half way up the mountain on the bike path and near several shops and restaurants. We are now in the middle of a three day weekend and absolutely loving it. Little did we know when we made our reservation, that they had completely remodeled a huge portion of the hotel. One of the great aspects of this hotel, is that they are continuously improving it. It feels so good to stay at a place where they value your experience and want to make it better each time you come. We also love the staff that they employ here because they are AWESOME!!!

We needed a place to stay after being disappointed at another hotel (90 degrees ajd no AC), and we are SO glad we stopped here. We stayed in the new wing and the room was perfect. Spotless, super quiet AC unit, comfy linens, everything was 10/10 except the weak coffee. Lol. Highly recommend!

We loved our time here! From the moment we checked in, we were met by friendly, welcoming staff. We honestly chose this hotel because it was not only dog friendly but didn’t charge extra, but we were VERY happy for many other reasons! We had a party of five, so chose the loft, which was perfect! Opposite the front door was a glass door which led out to the grassy “backyard” and just a few steps from the river, which was gorgeous. It was very shallow so the kids had a great time exploring. The pool and hot tub were nice and it was great that towels were there for use so that the room towels didn’t have to be used. The coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fresh cookies were a nice touch as well. In the evening, the staff was nice enough to light the fire pit so the kids could make S’mores. Finally, the location was great! It was a short drive to town, and close to several restaurants. We all had a great time and will be back!

There were many restaurants nearby, and there was also a supermarket, so it was very convenient. Behind the hotel, there was a beautiful river, which made it very pleasant to escape the heat during hot weather. The interior was new and clean. The front desk staff were very polite, extremely kind, and highly professional. They were wonderful people.

First, the shower water temperature changed every time we used it. Even after adjusting it, it sometimes became very hot, and more often than not, there was no hot water at all, which was inconvenient. We also extended our stay and moved to another room. In the last room we stayed in, the toilet seemed to have low water pressure or weak flushing power, and it often did not flush properly in one flush. (We did not experience this issue at all in the first room.) When we stayed on the first floor, we could clearly hear footsteps from the floor above every time people walked, which was quite noticeable. Even with the TV on in our room, the noise could still be heard.

What an incredibly pleasant surprise of a property. This was the wedding block spillover hotel. Didn't think anything of it, just assumed it was "the hotel down the road" from where the wedding was actually taking place. What an incredible surprise to show up to a hotel that looks to be brand new. It is right near the Stowe downtown area where we got great dinner and breakfast. We spent almost the whole day leading up to the wedding on-property playing the great 18-hole mini golf course, reading by the stream behind the property, and bowling at their alley. HVAC was nice and cool, and all the furniture and finishes were like new. Incredibly helpful and pleasant staff. Will absolutely return!

The hotel is in an active part of Stowe, with ski and bike shops close by, a few restaurants, and the Alchemist Brewery within walking distance. Great stay... and of course they have a bowling alley and putt putt golf course.

Such a great find! Close to trails, affordable price, lovely room, good food in the bar. I'm in this area about once a year, and this hotel is my new go-to.

This place was centrally located in Stowe with many restaurants and activities to do within walking distance. The coffee and service were great and the parking was free. Great seating next to a river to relax during the day.

Everything here was perfect. From the beautiful scenery, to the spacious loft room, and the wonderful staff. I came with 3 kids just for one night and they were never bored. This place is amazing and it more than exceeded my expectations!

I highly recommend Sun & Ski Inn & Suites! I stayed for two nights while working in the area and it was fantastic. Upon check in, I was greeted with a big hello and smile. It was a quick check in, was told about the hours of the Continental Breakfast in the morning, was told where to park and the quickest way to my room. Room was spotless (and I always look). Had everything you could need. Microwave, fridge, small table, chair, great lighting and such a comfortable bed! I forgot to ask what type of pillows they were because I want to get one. Thanks for the great stay and I hope to be back soon!
