Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Hotel was in a GREAT location. Within walking distance to all of the Temple Bar locations, Trinity College, and bus stops.
While the location was great during the day, the noise from the night life was quite loud. Since there was no A/C, we had to choose between sleeping with the window open for airflow or closed to block out the noise. I would recommend ear plugs!

It was close to a lot of Night Life. There is a bar on the Ground Lever that isn't too loud really, until it closes at 2:30 AM, and then all hell breaks loose with bottles smashing, leaf blowers going, and then the Sweeper Truck runs through after thats done. It's loud for a few hours after 0230, like Earplugs loud.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Blooms Lage ist top im Zentrum von Dublins City gelegen. Aktion bis Mitternacht, vorwiegend Touries und Studenten von TrinityUni. Frühstück (€16) günstiger als außerhäusig, auch Geschmacksache. Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt. Pub "Temple Bar" in EG. Wenn keine (extrem laute!) Lifemusik sehr gemütlich zum Geniessen eines Guinness oder mehr.
WLAN/WIFI(ungesichert!) ist in oberen Etagen kaum erreichbar. Personal an Rezeption teils nett, oft nur funktional und oberflächlich, eine Dame auffallend arrogant. Frühstückskaffee ohne Geschmack. Offene Dose mit muffigem Pulver, sehr träges Personal mit fehlendem Überblick. Die vielen umliegenden Pubs und Restaurants sind typisch für Irland. Die extrem laute (weniger ist mehr) Lifemusic erstickt jegliche Kommunikation. Schade.

L'hôtel n'ayant pas de parking, nous nous sommes garés au Parking à proximité, le QPARK CHRISTCHURCH, et cela nous a coûté 53 € de 19h à 9h !!!!! Cela est à prendre en compte en plus du prix de l'hôtel....

Abbiamo avuto un piccolo inconveniente con la corrente subito dopo aver preso possesso della stanza, ma è stato prontamente risolto. Staff molto disponibile, gentile ed efficiente. Nel complesso, un’esperienza molto positiva.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Didn't have breakfast. Room was spotless clean.,beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower a huge mirror and good quality toilet roll. Lovely thick carpet also really clean.
No view out of the window and a noisy extractor fan outside. Although it was only for the first night.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Posizione centralissima, prossima alla zona pedonale, a molte attrazioni turistiche, a 100 metri dal famoso The Temple Pub e locali vari in cui mangiare. L’hotel ha l’accesso diretto al pub sottostante. Fermata del Bus Dublin Express per l’Aeroporto all’angolo tra Aston Quay-O’Connell Bridge si trova a 200 mt dall’hotel, ma conviene andare a prenderlo dall’altra parte del ponte, sulla Eden Quay, per evitare mezz’ora di bus fino alla Heuston Train Station e ritorno (cfr mappa) così da fare solo mezz’ora di tragitto anziché un’ora.
La moquette in camera, il materasso che ho trovato scomodo (troppo rigido), il cuscino appiattito dall’uso, probabilmente vetusti, ma è solo il mio parere. La camera è piccola, tutto incastrato al centimetro. Per questo motivo ho trovato eccessivo il prezzo pagato anche se ottima la posizione dell’hotel in centro città.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Die Lage mitten in Temple Bar ist einfach genial – besser kann man Dublin kaum erleben! 🍀 Alles ist praktisch vor der Haustür, sodass man das Auto getrost vergessen kann und direkt ins irische Leben eintaucht. 😉 Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Da wir am Abreisetag schon sehr früh zum Flughafen mussten und deshalb leider nicht am Frühstück teilnehmen konnten, wurde uns auf Anfrage ein Lunchpaket zusammengestellt. Wirklich ein großes Dankeschön dafür! ❤️
Die Ausstattung des Hotels war insgesamt wirklich sehr gut und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Zwei kleine Punkte sind uns allerdings aufgefallen: Im Badezimmer gab es keine separate Dusche, sondern nur eine Dusche in der Badewanne. Zum Duschen hieß es also erst einmal: „Bitte einsteigen!“ 😉 Für Gäste, die nicht ganz so trittsicher oder beweglich sind, könnte das allerdings etwas herausfordernd sein. Und eine WC-Bürste haben wir leider auch vermisst. Für den nachfolgenden Gast kann das sonst schnell zu einer kleinen, eher unerfreulichen Überraschung werden – und wer möchte schon gern auf eine solche „Hinterlassenschaft“ stoßen? 😄

On arrival in the room there was a dirty towel in the floor and a dirty mug beside the bed. Also bins in both the bedroom and bathroom had not been emptied. This was rectified when mentioned but we didn't trust the cleanliness after that

a limpeza do banheiro deixou a desejar, especialmente o vaso sanitário, que estava sujo. Além disso, a pressão do chuveiro era muito fraca, proporcionando, infelizmente, o pior banho que tive durante toda a viagem pela Europa.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026It was located right in the heart of Dublin. Walkable to so much! It had a little balcony and was clean. Staff was nice.
It was a small, hot room. We were on the end overlooking the busy street and there was a huge light just outside our window and lots of noise coming through late into the night. We had to keep the drapes closed while trying to sleep so it didn’t look all lit up like it was daytime and because the drapes were closed, we we got little air flow and mostly noise.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Lage direkt im Touriviertel, Empfang und Kommunikation sehr gut, Möglichkeit Koffer unterzustellen vor dem Einchecken wunderbar. Zimmer gut, Bad ebenso, sauber und ordentlich. Frühstück sah gut aus, haben wir jedoch nicht genutzt (sind keine großen Frühstücker). Angegliederter Pub gemütlich, gute Lifemusik. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen wieder.

We had no contact with the staff, there was no one to help us get our key, no one answering the intercom, there was very information about kinsale or the local area, room was tight with little room for luggage. You were listed as a bed and breakfast and I booked assuming breakfast would be served.
