Was here to celebrate a very special anniversary and was truly sad and disappointed. Room smelled musty, and like old smoke from the 90's Carpet looked old and dirty and was popping up in quite a few places. Hubby and I tripped over it a few times. I think it's time to spend a little $ and start replacing that. Only 2 towels in the room upon arrival Asked for an extra duvet, was told there wasn't any and was given a sheet for a cot that was thinner than paper. This makes you think that they aren't even changing them for guest turn overs if they can't even provide one. Balcony was very dirty and looked as though they don't even bother to clean them, and had paint chipping everywhere. I bet I could have found a nicer room at the Holiday Inn or something. This is not something that you would expect a Delta to be. So not worth the almost $900 I spent for 2 nights. I really feel I wasted that money and kind of embarrassed that's this is what I brought him to, to celebrate. Wish I did more searching on other hotels in the area Was not satisfied at all.

The location was sketchy! Walking towards St. Catherine St. we saw homeless people sleeping on the street and the buildings seemed dirty!

The hotel is at the heart of the city. Our room was spacious and clean. The gym had a variety of equipment. The breakfast was good.

Hôtel idéalement placé en centre ville proche de tout. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet était très bien et copieux. La chambre était spacieuse. Le personnel était très à l'écoute et a répondu très rapidement à nos demande.

Nous avions un chambre avec terrasse et cette dernière n'avait pas été nettoyé. Certaines prises électrique ne fonctionnaient pas correctement et certaines lumières étaient défectueuses. La moquette au sol était un peu défraîchie et présentait des ondulations.

This hotel is terrible. I am a loyal Marriott customer for over thirty years, and, without a doubt, this one has the worst front desk service I’ve ever encountered. The staff lacks training, has an attitude, and is frankly, useless. We got a room that is smelly, and wasn’t properly cleaned. I am attaching picture of the balcony, for everyone to see. I have never seen this in a Marriott property! The room is also very noisy, next to the elevators with a deafening sound when the elevator moves. This is, without a doubt, one of the worst Marriott hotels in the Western Hemisphere!

Stayed one night at the hotel, which is conveniently located near the city center. Upon check-in, the elevators were out of service, requiring use of the service elevator to reach the 20th floor, which involved long waits and no air conditioning. There is a lounge, but it was unattended and offered only cookies, water, coffee, and soft drinks. I had breakfast at the second-floor restaurant; the croissant was not fresh, and the fruit appeared spoiled. My wife and I both experienced stomach upset afterward. I reported this to the front desk, but there was no follow-up. Overall, it was not a good experience.

Lindo hotel. Estéticamente lindo y cómoda cama.

El personal todo el tiempo te reclama la propina. Si le dejas menos de lo que esperan se molestan y te preguntan porque, si fue tan mala la atención. Desayuno buffet podes pagarlo pero realmente es muy pobre, ofrece muy poca variedad. El restaurante es bueno y muy lindo, lástima el personal Tuve la experiencia q eran 44 Cad y el mozo en el ticket con lapicera me escribió que debía pagar 60 CaD . No volvería. La ubicación no es del todo buena, a old Montreal debes caminar bastante y por la zona no hay lindos restaurantes

Location: Not sure if this is part of the business district, but there's mostly high-rise building in this area. It is however, a short walking distance to the shopping and dining of downtown Montreal. Parking for oversized cars: Getting upgraded to a full-size SUV was exciting until we realized how challenging the parking situation is in downtown Montreal is because of the clearance. Snir at the front desk was downright commendable though. He didn't just give instructions from the desk. He actually stepped out and gave my husband instructions on how to park in the building. Food: Breakfast buffet served a good variety. Hugo, bless his heart, made it his mission to ensure that the person in our party who has multiple allergies can dine worry-free. The room: The Deluxe Guest room, even with 2 queen beds, and the bathroom, are spacious. Balcony furniture is available upon request. Overall, the room could use a refurbishment though - from the carpet buckling to some damage in the woodwork in the bathroom, to the shower with the detachable shower head.

Old room TV didn’t work couldn’t connect to YouTube very delayed and laggy, couldn’t watch TV. Dated room, the carpet had rolls in several places very obvious carpet replacement with big squares cut out and random pieces put in to fill it. The balcony was nice though.

good solid marriott business hotel - except the restaurant punches well above it weight we had dinner there twice, once on arrival and once another night. great service and really good food - far more than i expected in a hotel of this class

The underground looked like a desert (Dirt Everywhere) - never been cleaned. The Rooms were dated. The entrance is dated. I am surprised by Delta.

Way too much money for a run-down place.

Great central location for meeting folks coming from different directions in Montreal. Atmosphere: the main restaurant was dowdy, dated, tired. It was poorly lit. All the TV screens around, it felt like i was in a sports bar, which was incongruent with the dining room and menu. The big problem was this: i had booked a table for a group of 8-10 for a celebration of life for my brother. That group included people with disabilities, including motor and sensory (hearing and sight), one of which was my 95 year old mother, who was hosting. I had come earlier to see if the place was suitable, and to discuss my needs with the manager before making the reservation. I was satisfied that it would and so i made the reservation. I had explained that we had come to talk and share stories about my brother the evening following his celebration of life and so would be looking for a quiet place. he assured me that the TV could be turned off, in the back and the music turned off. I could not hear past the person sitting beside me and my mother could hardly hear the person beside her or across the table. it was very loud from other tables of a group of hockey players and a group of older men at a table just down from us. The waiter said that he could turn the music off, but not the TV but the group would be leaving in about 15 minutes. they were still there 30 minutes later. Food was hit and miss and Halal choices while nice to have, there could be more available. There was very nice collection of appetizers and cheese platter to share as starters. Main course: both orders of duck were tough, even with a steak knife, but all the octopus dishes were beautifully cooked, one of the best i have had in my culinary experience. The striploin cut like butter, and the frites crispy and cruchy! Dessert: creme brulee was well done, but not particularly inspiring. The pastry on the "tarte tatin" was tough - i was not sure whether it was a puff pastry at all. It tasted as if a caramel sauce had been added at the end, rather than cooked as a traditional tatin, which is what i had expected to get. As a trained continental pastry chef, I just felt sad. My review is actually a 2.5/5, rather than a 3/5. I would probably not consider this dining room for a future booking when staying in Montreal.

Stayed here recently for a get away. Staff at the desk was kinda and welcoming, but the restaurant service was hit or miss. I wouldn't blame the staff, it mostly appeared to be understaffed in the bar and breakfast areas. hallways and elevators were a bit dated, but it seems like this wont be an issue for much longer. Very close to Metro station made it very easy to get around. I drove, but I left my car in the garage the whole weekend dispite the in and out privleges because walking and subway is so much easier. Maybe less snow next time though. Good luck with the rebuild!

Liked the staff and how the cleaning staff is so responsive

1. Balcony is really poorly kept. Broken walls, dirty floors, spider webs all over! Very disappointing. 2. Need the hospitality / restaurant staff to bring napkins/ cutlery 3. I could hear the top floor bathroom flushes / water flow throughout the night 4. Upgrade the TVs to smart TVs. Currently it’s standard TVs, whereas competitive hotels have better versions.

Il n y avait pas d eau chaude à la piscine pour la douche (2 jours) et nous avons été moyennement contents de la propreté à la piscine !

Great hotel! Our room was on the top floor and quite spacious. Quiet. Breakfast buffet was included and quite good… get an omelette! Parking is really tight- we have a big Ford F150 which was a bit challenging, but we managed to squeeze in there. Location is great, central and near two metro stops.

Les lits sont un peu trop petits pour 2 personnes ( probablemenr 160cm) Durant la nuit la chaudière se met en route à intervalle regulier et cela fait beaucoup de bruit Pas assez de rangement pour 4 personnes

I did not get enough support upon arrival to early check in despite I did not mind to get it for extra charges . The justification was it’s not guaranteed as the rooms were completely sold out; I was expecting more support since I was flying a long distance from Dubai and I had to wait from 09:00 AM till 03:00pM until I was allowed to check in

The price I booked on the booking.com with the price I paid at the hotel is so different. Hotel charged me more than 60 cad without explaination. I tried to call the hotel but no one got my call. I am not happy with that.

Staff was so friendly and very kind. The location is fabulous. Beds are very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Overall an amazing experience. Wonderful if you are attending the Montreal Jazz festival, easy four minutes to the venue.

Even though I was in belief of two connected rooms with two double bed each and I got 1 but clean spacious and my kids loved it very friendly stuff .

Nous avions l'habitude d'aller à cet hotel pour des séjours touristiques ou des besoin hospitaliers dans le voisinage. La situation géographique était adéquate, les déjeuners bien au-delà de la qualité des chambres, excellent café latté et menu à la carte varié et savoureux (Latke et ratatouille entre autres). La chambre était propre, mais tristounette.

L'hotel devient désuet, dans l'aspect déco, vieux tapis, minimum de produits tel que savon etc., fenêtres doubles pleine de givre, chambre froide et difficile à chauffer.

The management of the pool and spa . First it is not smart to close these for the whole afternoon ... it's the first place the kids wants to go . Second, when it was finally open ( in the evening) the spa was going thru maintenance and of couse close . Disappointing especially because I picked this hotel for these facilities.

It was a nice sized room but there was ONE dresser drawer. In a room with only 2 queen beds, you'd assume at least 2 people are staying there (if not more, as in our case there were 3). Where do you put your clothes? The odd part is there was lots of space in the room because it had an untraditional shape. I've never been in any hotel room with one drawer! Also the parking situation is very odd. The machine gives you no ticket so there's lots of confusion around that even though it did work out ok.

Friendly and efficient staff, they fixed a broken faucet in the bathroom immediately after I contacted them, and they cleaned the room thoroughly every day. Convenient parking in the basement. Wonderful heated swimming pool and gym.

The hotel hasn't been renovated in a long time. The heating system in the rooms was originally designed so that air from the wall opposite the windows periodically blew forcefully across the room, along the ceiling, toward the windows. As a result, cold air from the windows blew forcefully onto the beds all night, causing runny noses and sore throats in the mornings. It was about 20 degrees below zero outside those nights. There's a limited selection of vegetarian dishes for breakfast. The price doesn't reflect the variety. There was only one chair in a room for four people! There were three of us, but one chair in the room wasn't nearly enough.
