Large comfortable room comfy beds. Bathroom a little disappointing but showed worked fine
Bathroom
No breakfast provided, but has a lovely breakfast just 4 mins away from hotel. Had a super evening meal, bedroom was nice and spacous and comfortable, was supplied with lots of tea, coffee and biscuits. was happy with our stay at the Bull.
Nothing comes to mind
The outside of the building looked promising
Food was inedible, and quite disgusting. Bed uncomfortable, and pillows like rocks. Very noisy with rugby supporters in the bar singing and shouting. The whole place was grubby. Couldn't wait to get out of there. The town is very strange, no restaurants only take-aways so no option but to eat at the Bull,.but starving would have been a better option.
Location
No towel change in our 4 day stay, stairs or room not vaacumed in our 4 day stay.
Beautiful building great location
Breakfast not included
Parking is limited, especially when large contractors vans fill the car park. The rooms were dated but clean. The 2 downsides to our stay were the street noise and the noise from the water pipes after the toilet was flushed, which made for disturbed sleep.
Street noise and noisy water pipes.
Advertising said private parking, but when we got there we were told you would be lucky to find a parking spot as more rooms than spaces, so parking was a problem.
Hotel's location was great for access to the towns shops and eating places. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Early morning noise from the traffic just below our window. Only one chair in the room.
Good room. Car park holds about a dozen cars. Entrance is on the left directly after clock tower.
Note the hotel does not serve breakfast. However not a problem as a lovely cafe 70 yds away , opens 8 am mon to sat & 9 am Sun.
Very suitable for cyclists
Self contained room where I could take bike into
Convenient and great late booking.
Breakfast would have been nice but good cafe nearby
Great location. Interesting building. Good room.
Located in the centre of town with amenities surrounding the area. Building was in excellent condition with all rooms maintained to a very high standard.
Nil
We stayed at the bull hotel on our way to the ferry port at Holyhead the hotel was a perfect location as a stop over before an early morning Ferry. The staff at the hotel were great and the food was excellent definitely better than normal pub food, I would recommend as a stop over.
The rooms were good, we had a room at the front so a little noisy, but great value for money.
Decor, staff, food, games, drinks were nice, price was fair
More drink selection in bar could be handy
leaving
loads of stairs , top of hotel , no breakfast facilities , evening meal miserly portions at 15 quid each , surly manager (richard) di=ont call me that please ? call me rich . mmm ,park if your lucky otherwise pay at council car park,
Good location
Booking .com not getting our booking right The hotel was excellent in finding us other rooms even though they were seperate
The property was fine the car park has a few potholes. The staff were courteous and helpful, except for one who we referred to as Basil, I stood in front of him trying to check in he completely ignored me, he made very negative comments about the the place, but overall we would go back the people of Llangefni were brilliant we laughed all the way. The rooms were comfy and clean. And all other staff excellent.
Basil!!!!
Helpful staff, clean rooms.
Parking problems.
A nice hotel/pub in a great location. They have courtyard rooms which suited me with my motorbike. Plenty of tea & coffee supplies in the room. Big bathroom with bath and shower.
I felt the price was quite high for single room without breakfast, but obviously knew the price when I booked.
Great location and bed was comfortable.
absolutely spotless and lovely friendly welcome Room was massive and comfortable
It would have been good to have breakfast there but there was a fab little cafe opposite
This was a lovely hotel, clean, spacious and very welcoming, I stayed one night but would gladly have booked for the weekend, parking was easy, either at the property or a car park was free from 8pm to 8am next door. My family ordered a meal from the bar and said it was delicious, we had just drinks and all were great value ! There is no breakfast at the property BUT across the road is a delightful cafe, which fills ever desire
If im going to be picky there is a clock outside the property and it does chime throughout the night, it didn't affect my stay but my husband said he heard it, just to add we had the windows open due to warm weather But it certainly won't stop us from staying there again
The location was great, the famiky room very spacious so we didn't feel cramped at all being three adults. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
Actually I cannot think of anything
The hotel is located in a beautiful village with a town hall, cafes and shops nearby. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also speak Welsh which was nice to hear. It has customer parking and WiFi. The pub food was excellent. It was way beyond our expectations. I would stay there again.
I really cannot find fault with it.
Stunning place. Very old world but still have clean and luxurious
Unfortunately it was so loud! The single glaze windows and the fact it’s a pub on a Saturday we accepted but it was the pipes! You could hear absolutely everything throughout the night and all the pipes bang continuously and the walls were so thin that even with a later checkout we were up when other guests / cleaners were making noise. Bedding was lovely and fresh but mattress was terrible quality
Location in centre of town
No breakfast available on site , cafe across the road was excellent
Friendly person at check-in. Large, clean room Comfortable beds
Lack of car parking space and not provided with clear information about alternatives. Had to wake up early and pay for parking before 8am - some agreement with hotel and car park is required. Room at front of hotel was noisy which included the townhall bell ringing every hour at night Nowhere to hang wet towels. Vertical rail holding shower head came off in my hands!
There was nothing really I can say I liked. Rooms were big. Wi fi was good. Bathroom were okay clean
Booking.com said breakfast was served, but upon arrival staff said there will be no breakfast, bed looked clean but carpet was not very clean. on the second day no body come to clean the room or to replace used cups, we asked for extra cups with the staff for tea, they said we will need to clean the cups if we wanted to make drink. wanted to purchase some water bottle, none was available. town was dead town, we went to look for a restaurant nearest one was 10 miles away. most of the restaurant were closed as being Monday. A little depressing town to be honest.
What a welcoming Hotel. We were in the Courtyard and it was fab. Met Sarah and Wendy from Housekeeping, they are a credit to the Hotel. Fantastic ladies, couldnt do enough for you. Great team.
It was just a normal double bed. The room was spacious so could easily fit a King or indeed a Queen in it.
likes center easy travel and find places, also near easy walk shopping lidl, asda, aldi and b&m
every none comment, but one need changes mattress thanks.
Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome all the way through our stay

Rooms was large, had tea and coffee facilities and was free parking.
Bathroom didn’t have hooks to hang wet tales , and the room could have benefited with a mini fridge .
Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of traffic noise and people coming out of the pubs across the rd, I can imagine in the week or isn't an issue at all but it was loud on the Friday night .
No wi fi, we were unable to connect but it didn't bother me to the point I had to go and speak to someone. The staff were extremely friendly the hotel clean, they don't do breakfast but there is a cafe opposite
Absolutely super accommodation in the time centre of this lovely village with excellent customer service food and friendly atmosphere
It was all great
Staff very helpful and friendly.
No breakfast no evening meals available at all. Kitchen run totally separate from hotel. WHY
Staff so helpful and lovely atmosphere, room comfy and clean.
Better fan.
Excellent staff very helpful and courteous, We hand the family room and it was perfect, plenty of room and clean. The breakfast was delicious, would Certainly stay here again.
The only thing is there are no evening meals available on Mondays
A big old building in the center of town here
Fab place to stay on Anglesey. Staff were super lovely and friendly!
Sadly the kitchen wasn’t open for breakfast but otherwise an excellent place to stay!
No breakfast.Had to eat at a cafe down the street because the chef didn't turn up!!! Paid in advance so had to py twice for breakfast. Not recommended.
Clean, spacious and comfortable beds
No breakfast on Sunday
Centre of town with parking
Unfortunately the bathroom stunk of smoke from previous resident. Why cleaner had t registered this to ensure it was vented before they gave to another guest Also breakfast didn’t start until 9.00am, was so poor Also have continually requested an invoice and never received Overall wouldn’t recommend this place
Dobra lokalizacja
Brak AC I wiatraków w tym upale
Location is busy, centre of town. In the hot weather with windows open it was quite noisy till late. And quite noisy from about 5pm. Nothing to do with the hotel, just due to location.
Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Very welcoming. We arrived late, restaurant was closed, but they said we could go get a takeaway, and they would give us plates, cutlery etc. and we could each it in the restaurant and watch the England game. Could not have been more helpful.
I parked up and a staff member came out to me with the key which was brilliant as I had my disabled brother with me. I have stayed here before but in the main hotel , the courtyard accomodation was of the same good quality. The kitchen was well equipped and well presented and maintained. The living space had a table and 4 chairs x I felt safe and comfortable - would love to go back again
Nothing could have been better 😀
Room was good
all o.k
It was very clean. Food was excellent.
This is a weird place. I’ve never seen a more eclectic group of locals in my life. It was brilliant. I saw a man hide some chips in a planter from the coppers. I was also asked by a man if any South Africans lived near by because they were sleeping with his wife. I also saw a man get knocked out by the plod for being a bell end. This is genuinely one of the best holidays I’ve ever been on and I’ve been to Vegas.
Terrible stay very dirty room very noisy at night
Everything about the stay was terrible
No breakfast not offered location was excellent for our visit
Location
Restaurant closed at 7 breakfast not availible until 9.
Breakfast was nice but the wait was poor . Breakfast was booked for 9am but it was not served until 10am even tho it was not busy
The wait for breakfast plus the rooms were a little dated
Staff were really friendly and the room was really nice. What more do you need?
Very comfortable en-suite room around courtyard
No space for us in hotel car park, though public parking nearby.
No air-conditioning couldn’t open windows noisy plumbing couldn’t sleep at night
Location
No wifi in the outer building/rooms. How this is ebven a thing now I don't know
Location
No food on Mondays and breakfast did not begin until 09,00 which was too late for me and for at least one other guest since she was seen in the local Asda buying a breakfast sandwich.
Had everything that we needed
Clean
Excellent friendly and helpful

Staff are Welsh speaking and give you a real welcome.
Noisy on occasions as it is in the centre of town.
Quirky old Hotel, . Very busy staff were friendly. Very good location.
Had to wait for food on the first night. A mix-up with the order, however, was all sorted in the end.
Friendly staff , lovely rooms , good location

Myself, my partner and my 12yr old daughter stayed for 1 night. We arrived late about 8pm for check in, we were too late to eat in the resteraunt but we were able to order a takeaway from the local keebab shop (there was a choice of takeaway shops on the doorstep) and eat it in the bar, they provided cutlery and plates, it was ideal as we could also have a couple of drinks. Our room in the courtyard was very spacious , had a kitchenett, good size bathroom and a small living area with table and chairs and a TV, shame we weren't staying longer. The staff were very friendly , hotel had lovley atmosphere. Diolch o galon xx
Location cleanliness
All good.
Warm welcome when we arrived. Received our room key quickly. Staff friendly and helpful
Nothing
In the town centre nice shops and places to eat .Bus stop just across the road to go out and about .Beer garden to sit out when the weather nice ,Food served nearly all day good prices .
We liked everything hope to visit wales again in the future .
Central Location and historical site and connection.
Location was good Lovely building
Nothing really everything you can expect from a old building.
Lovely location and beautiful building
This was choosen as a suprise not only for mothers day but also a birthday weekend. The smell hits you in the face as soon as you walk in of ale and cigarettes. We were told upon arrival the Breakfast would not be available the next day. We booked a table for evening meal but the restaurant is in the bar, not separate like the pictures suggest. The Rugby was playing when we had booked the table surround by drunk locals swearing and cheering especially with my child around we feel very uneasy. We ended up driving quite away to find another place to eat. Our family room was directly above the bar so very loud until late with a broken window that didn't shut properly so the road noise was very loud. Room was freezing as the heating didn't work but two tiny portable oil radiators in the corner. Room was filthy. Toilet seat fell off. Coffee cups dusty and disgusting. We contacted the owner to explain all this and request a refund but didn't seem to be bothered. Cannot stress enough how bad this place was, DO NOT waste your money and DO NOT take children here!
The venue where it was
Showet water was very cold when have a showe and room was cold whek we got in it sns awske up
Did not have breakfast, that extra, I have stayed at the Bull for many years, it has changed hands once. The beds are nice and comfy, bathrooms are nice and clean, will continue to stay here.
The hotel is good, the Continental breakfast was disappointing, so don't have breakfast anymore, to me it was not worth the price.we eat with friends.
Welcoming staff. Helpful . Parking When I gave feedback about the tv the staff were supportive Very comfortable bed and beautifully soft pillows Slept well Loved the property overall
Didn’t dare leave in case I lost my parking space! TV wouldn’t work! Lack of signal. Member of staff promised to help but didn’t materialise to do so Could do with a side table in the bathroom to put personal toiletries on Nowhere to put anything
Comfortable clean room
Arrived on the Saturday and asked to pay for breakfast over our two night stop, was told not to worry as could pay in the morning. When we got up and ventured down for breakfast we were told by a very helpful lady that was cleaning that no breakfast was available and she was surprised it was offered. Same with the Saturday night evening meal, we had a drink in the bar around 3:30 and were told by bar staff that the kitchen would open at 5:30, after a walk around town we returned to order only to be told that they had decided not to open the kitchen, not exactly great.
Clean and tidy room, friendly staff
No evening meal at 6? Or breakfast available, booked here with my mum and daughter with the thought of eating in the evening and that online it said breakfast was good, but wants now to have either which was a shame
Perfect location in the centre of Llangefni. We had a courtyard family room which was massive with a little kitchen and en suite.
Little expensive possibly but not much competition in the area for places to stay.
Location
Out dated tired needs a care and attention badly the room furniture was really poor the bed was to small for two adults. The furniture is old and faded longe and bar area tables were dirty floor was not clean etc etc it was £213 for two nights way over priced for what you get
Staff friendly. Central location.
Overpriced for the accommodation on offer which felt tired. Pump air fresheners in the rooms were overpowering and unpleasant. Kitchen shut well before advertised time on the evening we arrived.
First bedroom was on top floor damp condensation running down windows. Asked to be moved as I have a heart condition and can't walk up too many steps. No lift in hotel.moved to Room on ground floor no shower as they said it was going to be mended they would move us the next day to another room . We said ok . Next day moved .The room was clean but bed linen dirty hairs& a FRESH stain on sheet. Left and went home.
No breakfast or dinner had to go to a cafe said chief has walked out. Staff were helpfull
Central location.
The hotel is very dated and in need of investment and TLC.
Everything from arrival to leaving was great. Dinner, bed & breakfast
Sat having our evening meal & young locals walked through to access the Pool table - not major & we were very conscious that they are the regular clientele, their bread & butter. The young men could have accessed through a nearby door.
Staff very friendly and very helpful. Loved hearing the local language being spoken.
Breakfast a little expensive. Towels not being changed during our stay
The Breakfast provided was always first class and the service and attention to our needs was friendly and courteous. We had Dinner on one night and this was an excellent meal enjoyed by the three of us.
There was no aspect of the accomodation or service which we did not like.
Staff extremely polite and friendly
Excellent home cooked breakfast with local produce and all the staff speaking Welsh
Everything was good
Nice and old
Was all good
The coal fire in the bar. It was the only time we were warm all night.
We paid for a courtyard superior room.We were allocated room 3 overlooking busy road. The room was basic and freezing. No heating slept in clothes. Showered with difficulty just to get warm 6am Climbing over end of bath to access shower/no hand rail or slip mat not good for pensioners. Thin summer quilt? Left 7am...took 10minutes to open exit/fire door...worrying.
Lovely and clean and staff very friendly and helpful
We needed to leave early this morning however we were locked in and couldn’t get out via the fire exit and there was no one there to assist so we had to break the emergency door release to exit !! Very concerning if there was a fire !! How would people get out of the building safely !! Did the let the place down to be honest !!!
Perfect location, central. Lovely staff, very courteous, helpful and kind. Beer is always consistent and tastes really good. This is mainly down to Emrys who keeps a good house.
Absolutely nothing.
This my 3rd time staying here now... And every time the staff and the facilities have been excellent. Will always stay here when in Llangefni
The room was immense. Easy parking. Great staff and a warm welcome
I’ve stayed before and enjoyed a great evening meal. Sadly the chef had quit which meant no dinner or breakfast.
Everything, this hotel was amazing 👏, very friendly and beds was so so comfy 😍 loved it didn't want to come home
Nothing it was the best hotel I have every stayed it and qe travel every where
Didn't get breakfast had to go to the cafe
The room could have been brighter very depressing
Nice friendly hotel. Ideal for my purposes.
Nothing really, its an old building and a bit of a maze to negotiate, but charming and god value.
Staff where really friendly and welcoming from the minute we checked in. Room was perfect for families. We ate at the restaurant and the food was too quality.
The location was very ideal
The facilities in the room, the heating was also not working
