Lovely friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was really nice and breakfast great! Rooms a bit dated but overall a lovely stay and would return!
Great location, staff really nice and helpful, clean, food good
We could hear some noise from guests in room above.
Lovely staff and great location. We were travelling to Ireland via the ferry so excellent for that. Also very nice to stay
excellent helpful friendly staff
minor complaint - no tooth glasses or welcome pack in room
Stunning Hotel
Staff are amazing
Welcoming, good food reasonable price
Room a little basic
Nice quiet location. Staff are amazing
A bit dated, suffered a few power cuts whilst there
Friendly, great location, good food
Nothing not to like
The location was close to the main highway, but far enough away for a peaceful stay. Our room was well appointed and clean. The menu was great and the food really good.
Nothing not to like.
Generous breakfasts. Friendly helpful staff. Central location ideal for exploring Anglesey
Patchy WiFi.
Staff are excellent looking after us in the evening and in the morning when we needed to leave before breakfast
Nothing
Staff are super helpful. We needed to be out before breakfast and they made us up a takeaway breakfast. Rooms are clean and have tea/coffee facilities.
Fantastic property, friendly staff upon arrival. Room was clean and very well presented with age appropriate decor for the building which gave it a really cosy feel.
The only negative comment I have was no shampoo for the shower, there was body wash and other bits. But due to the location there is a convenience shop very close!
Great place to stay as attending an event near by, staff really nice and helpful welcoming, had dinner in the restaurant food excellent, beds comfy plenty on the refreshments tray. Would stay again.
Nothing
Friendly, clean and tidy, helpful and served a Hearty Breakfast.
Very very remote. No decent Big Light in the room.
Clean comfortable room. Friendly reception, breakfast, and bar staff. Homely atmosphere. Good evening food and plentiful breakfast.
All was good would recommend. Might not have used if I was booking in advance as there was no village of walking distance nearby which I normally prefer. However we knew this in advance, it was a late booking, and hotel itself was very nice, worked out ok.
One night stay for a wedding at another venue. Only in room for 10 minutes before being picked up and then rather worse for wear when we got back. Never made it in time for breakfast.
Nothing comes to mind.
Friendly staff, great food and a comfortable bedroom, immaculately clean
Great location for getting around the island. Very comfortable and homely. Staff are exceptionally welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Food is also very good and cooked fresh. Have stayed before several years ago and would stay again.
The team were so friendly and welcoming. Perfect location for our stay Breakfast was plentiful , fresh ingredients and hot.
Lighting in room could have been little brighter. The shower wasn’t very powerful
Nice place, convenient location for journey to Holyhead ferry. Friendly staff.
All good.
My room wasn't very clean and was next to the noisiest boiler I've ever heard that kept waking me up all night. Breakfast was not that good.
Staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Food was excellent and plentiful (breakfasts and evening meal) Comfortable room and bed. Lovely quiet setting and very convenient for the family wedding we were attending.
There was nothing I didn't like! Easier access to sockets for charging tech would be worth looking at in the room I was in.
Quit & lovely
May be the cofe in the morning should be better and string
Very friendly and polite staff. Good food.
Room a little tired and shower was very weak
Looked charming, great location, nice people
The shower was a bit tricky.
The room was very good, with all required facilities and lots of storage space. Breakfasts were good, with plenty of choice. There was a pleasant lounge with a bar. The room was cleaned daily as a matter of course. There was a very large, free parking area. Anglesey is an attractive island, with lots to do on the island and nearby.
The hotel seemed to be a little short-staffed in the evenings. When we used the restaurant there was a delay of at least 40 minutes between arrival at the appointed booking time (in the lounge) and actually being served in the restaurant. The restaurant food was generally considered by us to be ok but not great. Visitors should be aware that the hotel is somewhat isolated, a couple of miles from Llangefni, so a car or other vehicle is strongly recommended for getting about.
Lovely old property that has been renovated to a very high standard. We stayed in the studio which had multiple rooms which was a lovely surprise. It was very comfortable and incredibly spacious. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meal was delicious.
Nothing
Charming B&B in the centre of Anglesey - very convenient for a night’s stay after getting the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead. Lovely surroundings, well kept and nice staff. Easy check out and convenient with parking on site.
Dinner at the hotel, whilst not included, was slightly disappointing, but breakfast was nice enough.
Staff was lovely, could help us enough.
Lovely welcome and the whole experience was fantastic. The room was fab and the service and food were amazing. Had dinner in the restaurant and we were so stuffed. Soooo good.
All was great. For the price and with a delicious breakfast...perfect. lovestaff, great level of attentive whilst also giving you room to enjoy your stay.
Lovely place lovely clean and food really nice

Beautiful location near a bus stop. Nice bar and restaurant facilities. Comfortable beds, congenial staff. Took a late dinner reservation over the phone as we were late from the bus-very accommodating.
The shower was too short to stand up in; NO FAN IN ROOM-they had 4 heat waves in Anglesey this summer so there should have been a fan in every room, especially those on the second floor. It was very hot in the room during the day.
The staff, and food were lovely. The room was in a nice quiet part of the hotel and was clean and tidy. Very accommodating and friendly, I'd definitely stay there again.
It was all very good good really. One night they had lots of people for evening meal as I think it was a party. It was a bit noisy, but not their fault at all, and they kindly allowed me to take my drink from the bar back to my room to enjoy with a book in peace. so they were very friendly and accommodating .
Very clean. Good location
Restaurant, goede bedden, vriendelijk personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt
Kleine kamer.
Quiet but easily accessible location, Good car park, friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, nice bar and restaurant.
Could have done with a fan in the room to help deal with heatwave!
Secluded but nudging main access road
Ground floor suffers from noise of ablutions from above
Quiet countryside setting with bar and restaurant. Parking on site. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast
Nothing to not like when taking into consideration value to money which is what we were looking for. We knew it was going to be country style when we booked.
Quality accommodation booked at very short notice. Centrally located by the A55. Couldn't have asked for more.
It’s quaintness and the outside seating area st the back. The bar, lounge and seating areas were also nice.
Our room, although a nice aspect with two windows, required a little attention to detail on the skirting board and around the windows. Wasn’t keen on the shower over the bath .
I have stayed at this property a number of times and will return . The staff are exceptional
Nothing
This was a gorgeous, charming hotel in the most beautiful location. The staff were the most friendliest and welcoming I think I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal was outstanding.
Staff very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful really nice and quiet
Nothing
Location is super convenient just a couple of minutes from the A55 so ideal before a ferry crossing. Our room was very clean, bedding and towels were good quality. Our cooked breakfast was good quality and well cooked. All staff that we met were friendly and helpful.
Nothing. It was exactly what we were looking for. The decor was a bit dated but did not spoil our stay at all.
It was just what we needed after travelling on an early afternoon ferry from Dublin to Holyhead. Quite around 15 mins drive from Holyhead Port and close to main road across Anglesey. People welcoming, room comfortable, food freshly prepared and tasted good. Also had selection of beers on tap.
Nothing... lots of parking and quite rural location just off main road.
: Disappointed with Value for Money I recently stayed at this hotel and found it overpriced for what it offers. The breakfast finishes at 9:00 a.m., which is far too early, and unfortunately, we missed it. Given the cost, I expected better facilities, but they were quite basic. In comparison, I stayed at the De Vere for the same price, and it was stunning. On a positive note, the staff were very nice and accommodating, which is appreciated. However, overall, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my
Lovely location and staff, comfortable night sleep and good food
Maybe could do with a little moderation
Very friendly and helpful staff nothing to much trouble. Good food comfortable room peaceful setting and looking forward to return visit. Carole and Bernard Morgan
Everything good.
The location of the hotel was great . The overall design and retro style too was very pleasant. The key positive however were all of the staff . Without exception they were over and above anything required and flawless in kindness and professionalism.
As lovely as it was i did find the rooms a little dated and the shower in particular probably needed replacing
One of the best and very well looked after Food as good if not better than anywhere else I stay
Nothing
Comfortable, friendly and lovely views.
Liked everything
The staff were wonderful Lovely quiet location Property has character.
Very welcoming staff, great quality food in the evening and for breakfast, nice comfortable room.
Lovely place to stay, Food & breakfast was excellent, Staff friendly and helpful.
Nothing
Fantastic location. The bed was so comfortable. Good breakfast. Upgraded to a double from a single on arrival. Helpful staff.
My first time staying. Amazing place with some of the best customer service I've experienced for a long time, staff couldn't do enough for us and even accommodated our early check in requests. When I'm next in Anglesey 100% will go back. Thank you so much!
Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was spotless and very comfortable.
Nothing
Location and restaurant
Rooms need updating
Lovely location and lovely room.
Lovely staff.
Delightfully tranquil property. Staff really welcoming and hospitable.
Shower area needs some TLC & couldn’t get plugs to function to dry hair but otherwise perfect stopover. Will definitely go again
On arrival, Neris checked us in and was fantasic as nothing was too much trouble and very welcoming and friendly. The food was lovely, we had breakfast twice, and 2 meals. All the rest of the staff were also very friendly and made it a lovely place to stay.
Nothing.
Clean and comfortable single room. With a comfortable bed. Clean ensuite, well maintained. Breakfast was great with options for a cooked breakfast. Food was fresh and arrived quickly. Really quiet location well placed just outside Llangefni
No problems at the hotel. Just make sure you know how to access the building after 10pm
Everything was great!
The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Good location close to main A55 from Holyhead, but in a very quiet and peaceful location.
More variety of choices at breakfast.
Friendly, great location
Beautiful setting and staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful
There were cobwebs inside one of the lampshades over one of the single beds and the bedding on the double bed was a bit thick and heavy for the time of year
Location was OK'ish
The whole place was dated, in need of refurbishment, an overpriced
Lovely room first night very accommodating staff. Catherine couldn't have been more helpful
Had to book 2nd night, due to unforeseen circumstances hotel very helpful, and almost full but this room wasn't nearly as nice. So happy though that even this room was available at such short notice
Breakfast Good shower
Window opening quite low and a hazard for tall person.
Hotel is nicely located not too far from the main road, and a lovely what must have been farm steading or similar . Nice court yard to park in and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and room functional. Seemed good value compared to other properties in the area, and its hard to find any gems around here without spending London money.
Mix up between hotel and booking.com for my second of the 2 nights I was due to stay was a bit disappointing , especially when I was told about it upon arrival rather than letting me know on my way. This meant having to find another hotel for night 2 , although they did offer me the chnace to stay in a caravan and a free dinner. Still waiting on Booking.com & Hotel resolving this which is disappointing as I would have expected them to react with a better sense of urgency and it would have saved me 30 minutes on the phone yesterday trying to resolve the issue.

Nothing
Loved this place, ideal location for everywhere. Can’t praise the staff highly enough, the most lovely friendly people. Restaurant was fab, food brilliant, great breakfast choices.
Not really anything I didn’t like
ROOM, BREAKFAST, EVENING MEAL AND STAFF EXCELLENT
NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOTEL BUT TAXI SERVICE IS VERY POOR
Good location, plenty of parking.
Everything was fine.
Excellent Supper, helpful staff.
Needs redecorating as pretty tired looking in places. Room 3 was terrible. Tiny, hot and paper thin walls so every time the neighbour used the flush it woke me up. Plus doors slamming in the night. WiFi ok in the public areas almost non existent in Room 3. I predict this place will go bust if it doesn’t up it’s game !
Breakfast was great, room nice and clean and warm.
The pressure of the water in the shower was disappointing.
They have the basics right - very good food, helpful friendly staff, an excellent shower and a comfortable bed. Then you can excuse the tiny bathroom and extremely creaky floorboards...
interior styling somewhat old-fashioned with dark wood.
Staff friendly, good feeling about the place. Nice bar.
Room and ensuite small, velux window noisy when rained. Very poor water pressure.
Nice friendly staff
No shower
Breakfast first class
nothing
Comfortable beds Excellent breakfast Quiet location
Bathroom was a bit dated TV only had a couple of channels
Our room had a bath under the eve’s difficult to stand up.
We’ve stated before so it’s very good.
This time the kitchen was closed so we didn’t stay. After a long day traveling we had to stay elsewhere for an evening meal and bed and breakfast.
Lovely staff breakfast was fab We couldn’t find anywhere to eat so we brought a take away back and they let us eat in the conservatory which was very kind
Needs new bed in room 7 very uncomfortable Shower uncontrollable
Everything especially the staff.
Nothing
Lovely. Property in a fabulous location
Very clean and nice decoration
Everything - the hotel was in an ideal location with everywhere on the isle easy to get to. The staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful and efficient - nothing was too much trouble for them
There was nothing we didn't like
It may be 3 star but I didn't feel that it lacked anything I wanted and to find fault would be churlish, certainly at this price. I've stayed here twice and would do so again without hesitation.
Gorgeous place.staff so pleasant and helpful
Really helpful staff and lovely food
Sehr nette Gastgeber, ich habe mich richtig wohl gefühlt! Die Bar hatte eine gute Auswahl an Getränken und das Bett war sehr bequem.
Es gibt nichts negatives zu sagen!
The restrant is somewhere we used to visit when we lived in the area many years ago, and it didn't disappoint.
The room was a little tired.
Breakfast good plenty of choice, delicious poached eggs ! Staff all very friendly and helpful!
Duvet in single room much too heavy !
Good breakfast
Stone front car park area noisy through open window early morning
Good breakfast and evening meal
Room wasn't quite as smart as on a previous stay
Amazing location just off the A55 but peaceful and rural with access to local walks and nature reserve. Staff very friendly. Food lovely. Very comfortable.
No shower in our room. Slightly tired decor.
A lovely cosy hotel, comfy beds and a hot shower. I was attending a wedding nearby and this was the perfect place to stay. A fantastic full Welsh breakfast and very kind and welcoming staff.
Nothing, it was exactly what I needed.
