Location and pool

Old, run down, doors have massive gaps in them so its like people are inside your room when walking by. Overpriced and bad value for money drinks and food. Gave a deposit spend almost 200$ day one they had an issue charging the card on the night. So instead of letting us just sort it in the morninmg they blocked our room cards and cancelled them. A joke conaidering paying 250$/night and already giving a deposit on something that was resolved first thing in the morning. Got breakfast for 2 (couple of coffes a juice, pancakes and a croissoint for about 50-60$ they have an auto 20% service charge + 9% tax so add 29% to all prices $5 for a side of bacon and got given a day old rock solid chips of bacon. Took a whole day just to remove it. After the diabolical handling of the card the first night we decided to not spend another dollar here. Most definetly wont go again and definetely couldnt recommend to anyone.

The location is honestly the big win here. This hotel is ideally placed in Miami Beach, everything is within walking or biking distance, which made getting around effortless for the whole stay. The exterior is nice too. Parking isn't available on site, but the G4 garage is only about 10 minutes away on foot, and at $20 for 24 hours it's genuinely good value.

The letdown is the hotel itself, it's showing its age, and the bathroom especially felt like it belonged to another era. Nothing dealbreaking, just dated.

Er wordt gesproken over happy hour, al bij binnenkomst. Nou, je kunt maar uit een paar drankjes kiezen met happy hour en moet dit contant afrekenen. Kan niet op je kamernummer worden gezet. Terwijl andere dingen wel op je kamernummer worden gezet. Vreemd!

The proximity to the beach is wonderful and there are some more private little areas to hang out in the backyard

my room floor was so dirty that the white socks I was wearing turned dirty by walking around in the room. You cannot stream on their television you have to watch TV like it's 2010. this is not a dig, but I find it strange that many if not, most of the staff speak almost no English, at least not enough to effectively communicate with a hotel guest. The food was overpriced and very obviously. Canned or processed in pre-prepared. I had an omelette with mushrooms on top and I had had the same mushrooms the day before and noticed they looked very uniform and they were little like canned mushrooms. I'm sure enough same damn mushrooms the next day the one thing that was really good was the chocolate mousse. I ordered a virgin piña colada and it is the same price as one with alcohol. That means it is $16. I thought that was very sly to not disclose that the cost of a version is the same as the cost of an alcoholic beverage. They also have no water available to bring back to your room. They have small water carafes in the main area, but not for filling up an entire water bottle. They do not have any water to provide to the guests unless you want to buy a cup of water while you eat a meal and they charge you $.65 for that. I was charged $.65 for a cup of water and $.50 for refills. The staff on the night shift at the front desk do not know what's going on, I think they're just getting bodies in there because I called down to the front desk and they never had an answer.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top. Fußläufig zum Ocean Drive. Direkt am Strand, schöner Pool. Sehr nettes Personal. Wenige Meter entfernt ist ein top ausgestatteter Supermarkt (24h geöffnet). Happy Hour von 17:00 - 18:00 hat uns sehr gefallen.

Ein sehr gut gelegenes Hotel an der Collins av. mit direkter Strandlage und einem angenehmen Poolbereich. Wir hatten ein Signature-King-size mit Meerblick, welches geräumig war, die Aussicht umwerfend. Das Bad sehr klein, wenig Ablagefläche.

Leider verspricht man auf der Homepage , auf Plakaten im Aufzug und in allen Menukarten eine Happyhour , die jedoch von sämtlichen Hotelmitarbeitern unterschiedlich ausgelegt wurde. Sprich: von den vier Mal, die wir in der angegebenen Happyhour-Zeit Cocktails geholt haben, haben wir kein einziges Mal eine Vergünstigung erlebt. Auf Nachfragen hin wurde man dann auch noch an der Rezeption blöd angelogen. Also gab es keine weiteren Cocktails im Hotel, zum Glück muss man in Miami nun wirklich nicht lange suchen, um dann wirklich gute Cocktails zu einem fairen Preis zu erhalten😉

Hotel is in need of better renovations. Renovations are poorly done and should be redone. Painter tape still on ceiling, shower grout missing, etc. Cons: window AC unit doesn’t cool the room, it only reached 74 and wasn’t on when we arrived. Pros: location, queen beds, staff, lobby, pool, beach access with free chairs & umbrella!

Прекрасный отель , очень вежливый и приветливый персонал , готовы помочь и решить любой вопрос ! Миленький, маленький и уютный отель , главный плюс этого отеля это собственные лежаки на пляже отель выдает карточки по количеству дней проживания и ежедневно мы пользовались лежаками и полотенцами на пляже бесплатно это огромный плюс! У отеля хорошее расположение до всего рукой подать в целом номер на семью из 4 человека просторный ! Спасибо большое за прекрасное время провождения !

Wasn’t too happy with housekeeping. One day they clean my room but didn’t clean the floors. Anyways but besides housekeeping everyone else provided an amazing service. Specially Marla, Maria, Daniela, Andres, beach chairs and towels guys (I don’t remember their names🤦🏻‍♀️)

The outdoor facilities were beautiful and well maintained. The beach service was excellent, and the staff there were friendly, attentive, and made the experience very enjoyable.

The room was disappointing. There was an unpleasant smell when I first entered, the Wi-Fi signal didn’t reach the room properly, and the TV was not a smart TV. Overall, the room felt old and outdated, and it could definitely benefit from renovations and better maintenance.

Proximity to beach and shopping area is good. Best thing about the room is the shower pressure and soft towels.

The rooms are not even slightly sound proofed. Noise from the hall way is fully audible when in the room with the door closed which is not good when you are sleeping and other guests come in at 1am having a full blown conversation. The door leading to the WC and Shower was also sticking, making a loud scraping noise as you opened and closed it. Noise from maintenance and service works outside is also fully audible and went on all night!

Hotel bem localizado, comida excelente porem cara, área externa super gostosa, acesso fácil à praia, serviço atencioso e cortes.

Quartos precisam de melhorias no sistema de ar condicionado. O ar condicionado do nosso quarto quebrou, tivemos que trocar de quarto - pra um menor. E o ar nesse também não estava funcionando perfeitamente, barulhento e difícil de operar.

Staré vybavení. Hluk s chodby diky starým dveřím, které nebyli nijak odhlučněné. Úklidová služba nekladla žádný důraz na kvalitu. Jednou nedodala ručníky, které jsou součástí a jindy zase chyběly kelímky na pití. Prostě bych očekával daleko lepší služby v takovém hotelu, na takovém místě, za takové peníze. Diky svému místu lze hotel hodnotit velmi pozitivně, jen je třeba klást důraz na kvalitu personálu a služeb. V námi vybraném termínu nebylo nijak zmíněno, že dva hotely, hned vedle ubytování, podléhají rekonstrukci / nové výstavbě a veľmi intenzivní a nadměrný hluk je nepříjemný pro ubytované jak v pokoji tak na pláži i u bazénu. Za takto vysokou cenu by měla být informace veřejná!!!!

La mala atención de los jóvenes meseros en la playa no sabíamos que ahora solo teníamos que consumir lo que ellos vendían y nos hicieron botar nuestras cosas al basurero entendemos las reglas pero habiendo ya retirado las cosas nos insistían que nos iban a retirar muy chocantes y pesados ,realmente pagamos un servicio y no merecíamos que nos carguen tanto

Strand war superschön. Man hatte immer eine Liege, das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Man konnte sowohl Getränke wie auch Essen bestellen, welches einem zum Platz gebracht wurde.

The property was clean, close to the beach, right near great restaurants and bars. The property manager was super accommodating and responding quickly to any questions. Booking again in the fall for my birthday!

The front entrance was covered with a blue tarp, lobby was ok, check in service took a long time. We had booked an ocean view room and it had an extremely limited view (1st pic is zoom of ocean view, second is actual view). Walls had cracks in them, floorboards as well. Water drained very slowly, tv pixeled the entire time. Second room wasn’t any better. Spent over $1,000 on 2 rooms and still had to pay for parking ($33), with parking being across the street, around the corner, and down one block). Noisy with doors slamming. Central AC hardly worked and room had a wall unit AC which was very very loud. Big rip off and extremely disappointing.

Dirty windows, very loud at night but it's Miami right. We have booked two rooms. My family who stayed in the other room got some insect bites on the skin. Might be the bed bugs. We reported to the reception personel.

Una buena ubicación con habitaciones cómodas y una muy agradable zona de piscina con acceso a playa. Para nuestra estancia de 3 noches en julio estuvo bien con buena relación calidad-precio.

La política de bloqueo y depósito no la encontramos necesaria teniendo en cuenta que coincido con las opiniones de que ni es un hotel renovado pero no nuevo, más bien justo en algunos aspectos, roces en paredes, zona de baño, grifería, ...

We had an amazing stay at the Marseilles Beachfront Hotel! After a difficult start to our vacation, this hotel completely turned things around. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were kind enough to get our room ready early, which meant so much after a long day of traveling. Every employee we met was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The front desk staff also made it incredibly easy to extend our checkout time, which gave us a few extra relaxing hours before our flight. The hotel was spotless, and our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, with beautiful beach access right behind the hotel and plenty of restaurants, shopping, and attractions within walking distance. We truly appreciated the outstanding customer service and hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Marseilles Beachfront Hotel to anyone visiting Miami Beach!

Amazing location with great proximity to bars, restaurants and shops. Beachfront access was brilliant. Great backyard space with games, dining area and TVs. Staff throughout the property were super friendly and helpful!

The backyard and beach area were managed by a third party. As a result, you had to have separate bills for each area which really started to add up with each 20% service tax and 9% city tax added. Some parts of the hotel could do with better upkeep and/or maintenance. We ended up needing to upgrade rooms as our original room was wasn’t ideal as it was next to the elevator. However, the supreme ocean view room was wonderful.

Personnel aimable et accueillant à l’accueil et au service de la piscine notamment Bryan Santiago et Alberto qui ont été super sympas et serviables et qui nous ont toujours bien installés Piscine : à dispo de l’eau fraîche toute la journée crème solaire etc Quelques jeux au fond du jardin sympas aussi Les matchs de foot pour le mondial sont diffusé sur un écran également Bonne musique française dans le hall d’accueil. Suite à un problème avec notre première chambre le personnel Melina et son collègue mais je ne sais pas le nom désolée c’est tout de suite mobilisé pour le corriger et nous changer des chambres dans les meilleurs conditions Système happy hour de 17 a 18 pour 1dollar (tips) c’est sympa et cela permet aussi de penser aux salariés et d’avoir de meilleur tips je trouve le concept bien pensé Les cocktails commandés à la carte sont servis dans un système de canette fermées, alors je trouve l’idée sympa mais en même temps pour notre part nous aimons aussi boire les cocktails dans des verres à cocktails et je trouve que ça casse un peu le charme du cocktails L’hôtel est propre et bien entretenu sur les espaces communs Accès à la plage directement à la sortie de l’hôtel avec des transat et parasol grâce a des cartes remises par l’hôtel c’est vraiment un plus Comme mentionné nous avons eu un problème avec notre première chambre suite à un problème dans la douche. À mon sens l’hôtel devrait s’améliorer et se moderniser sur Les clims qui font un bruit très importants et que l’on ne peut pas régler Les fenêtres qui devraient être changer pour avoir un système oscillo battant ou ouverture sécurisée mais pouvoir ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer est primordial Investir dans des recharges de shampoing gel douche etc pour la planète plutôt des miniatures Nous avons vu une réelle différence entre notre première chambre dont le plafond cloquait et commençait à moisir et la chambre d’après (vue sur mer) qui était bien mieux entretenue.

L'hotel n'est pas propre. L'emplacement meme si c'est à South Beach n'est pas top. Les équipements et la literie sont vraiment fatigués. Quand je vois la multitude de choix à South Beach je regrette vraiment mon choix d'hotel. L'hotel a besoin d'etre refait d'A à Z.

Construction around the hotel and noise..

The location is excellent with restaurants on Collins Avenue just out front and Ocean Drive a short walk away. The hotel backyard opens onto the boardwalk and beautiful beach.

The location was GREAT

We were put into a room with no AC working so they had to switch to a different room. The rooms/hotel wasn't what we were expecting when paying over $1300. It looks like you are able to use the daybeds on the website but you have to pay $200 a day for them so it was false advertisment and one of the reasons we booked there.
