Reservarmos y pagamos alojamiento y desayuno para 4 personas en una habitación doble (2 adultos y 2 adolescentes de 16 y 18 años) El desayuno no está incluido en la habitación, te dan un vale de 50$ para las 4 personas para el restaurante que está dentro del hotel pero es independiente para la facturación. Además preguntas en recepción y cada personal te dice un horario diferente del desayuno, no están informados ni del horario, ni de la forma de proceder, ya que vas al restaurante y te remiten a recepción por un voucher que no te dan, te mandan otra vez al restaurante.... y para colmo cuando hacemos el check out querían cobrarme el total del desayuno sin descontar los 50 $ de cada día, tienes que advertirlo porque sino te lo cobran. Conclusión el personal de recepción son bastante incompetentes. Un desayuno medio por persona en este restaurante cuesta unos 30$, por lo tanto ni con los 50$ del voucher te da para desayunar 2 personas, pues 4 ni te cuento, pero sí he pagado el hotel para 4. En fin... una estafa.

Un hermoso hotel, bien ubicado y un excelente trato del personal sobre todo Delfina y Eliana que hicieron de esta estadía la mejor que tuve en Miami.

Habitaciones muy pequeñas. Reservé con desayuno incluido y luego era una cantidad por habitación 50$ teniendo en cuenta que eramos tres y el Coffee eran 8$ parece un poco complicado adecuarse a la carta y al importe asignado. Y si se reserva con desayuno incluido es con ello, no con sólo con una parte.

We’ve been coming to the Surfcomber for many years - this was by far the best experience! The front desk was very accommodating (has not always been the case) from checking in to checking out. The food was great, especially considering their rebrand from High Tides to Solei. A special shoutout to the new manager Rhodes, who went above and beyond any expectation a guest can have. He was client-centric, problem-solving and had attention to detail while being quick to the punch. He delivered with a personal touch and a smile on his face. We will definitely come back! Price value for drinks and beach food is the best in Miami. One thing to improve upon was the towels - they need to renewed fast as they are dirty and falling apart.

We play Mahjong & Blackjack in the pool today with Zahra! It was so much fun!! My daughter was ecstatic to win a few times & Zahra gave her her prizes of vouchers to spend in the resort gift shop!! Thank you Zahra!!

everyone was great, especially Kirk and Stephanie. The entire staff was accommodated. Great hospitality.

Gold activity was awesome and Derek was super friendly with the kids- he made the day very special. Totally made the day pass worth it.

We had a lovely four nights as a family of four at the Kimpton Surfcomber. The location is great for everything on South Beach and we loved to morning yoga with Ana. Can’t wait to stay again soon.

We’re currently enjoying our last day at the Kimpton and absolutely loving it. We’ve booked a balcony room (room 237 - perfect!) and a standard king for our family of three. The pool has a great vibe - the DJ on Sunday was awesome. Gus at the pool bar is fab - so helpful, remembers your orders and so happy to help. The Kimpton is in an ideal location. Loads of restaurants and bars nearby. Not too far to walk to Espanola Way - highly recommend Havana 1957. The Kimpton is perfect if you’re looking for a hotel with character, great atmosphere and incredible staff. Our second visit and we’ll be back for a third! Thanks for the margaritas Gus ❤️

This hotel is great! 5 stars! Tbh I was debating on what rating to give for our entire experience, but after writing this review and remembering the pros vs cons, I came to the conclusion that I would stay at this hotel again the next time I’m in Miami, so it’s a 5. Everything else: the hotel, the exceptional service from all staff, the food, location, vibes, and value were all so great. Just hopefully our next room will be a bit better next time! We traveled here as a family of 3 and with our pup and stayed in a garden view room. Since the hotel is a bit older and newly renovated, the room we stayed in had a few issues. The outlets were loose, the TV connection had issues, the bathroom light went out towards the end of our stay, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work at all. We did request maintenance to come but they didn’t. They did help with another issue we experienced with the TV earlier in our stay! I want to be clear that they didn’t ignore us the whole time. We figured they probably got busy and forgot. Since we were close to the end of our stay, we didn’t mind too much but mentioned it to the front desk at check out so that it could be repaired for the next guests. Some great things to mention about the hotel: complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby every morning, scheduled social events every day such as yoga or zumba in the pool, poolside and beachside service (the food is amazing btw), complimentary beach chairs (umbrella has be rented for an extra fee), iguanas making special appearances by the pool (i’m from nc we only see squirrels out here lol). I’m pretty sure there’s more but I don’t want to make this too long. Tip: book directly on the hotel site! We booked with an offer that gave us complimentary valet parking every day and a $150 f&b credit.

Mooie kamers, mooi zwembad. Locatie is top! Dichtbij restaurants, winkels, highlights Miami south beach. Leuk dst je tijdens happy hour wijn en n hapje in de lobby kan halen.

Bedden waren erg smal en veel te kort. Sliepen wel heerlijk. De ligbedjes bij het zwembad staan strak tegen elkaar aan. Het is niet comfortabel liggen op deze manier. Je kan er niks aan verschuiven of tussen lopen.

La habitación se hace pequeña para dos camas grandes y cuatro adultos. Para dos adultos y una sola cama queda perfecta.

Many things in the hotel and rooms need renovation. They charge quite a lot for parking, so it's worth looking for better alternatives.

Pese a que teniamos reserva con desayuno incluido, hemos tenido que pagar mas de 180 dólares por desayunar. Pregunten antes de reservar porque no esta incluido el desayuno.

Great peaceful yoga class with Nicole. Perfect pace and scale for a beginner with more challenging options depending on your practice. Wonderful setting by the pool.

Surfcomber Kimpton on a Saturday afternoon for sun and pool. The DJ is incredible! George Ferraro, played a wonderful mix of many genres. All in all very enjoyable! Thank you! Debra Diana President, Miami-Dade County, Co-President, New York University Alumni Club of South Florida.

Literally had the best girls’ trip! Aly at the Front Desk is the sweetest. We kept forgetting our room keys but she's always there to help us 😭 she even found me a ponytail one time LOL. She was also always hyping up our outfits before we went out, and that honestly made our nights. Ghulam, the bellman, kept our luggage for us since the room was not ready yet when we arrived. He was so funny and kind. Also, Nicole and Derik at the pool were the best, the DJ understood the assignment, and breakfast at Social Club was sooo soo good. I didn’t catch our server’s name, but I think he was from Colombia, and he was super nice. The people here are what made the stay so memorable. We’ll 100% be back. Miami, see you again soon. ❤️

We did an Aqua Zumba class with Derik and he was absolutely amazing. He made our day so fun. I would recommend him to any hospitality venue his spirit is contagious. 🤩

We had a great time at the heart of Miami Beach. Very nice room with direct ocean view and pool access made us fell like rockstars! Juan welcomed us at the reception and shared great places to eat and visit!

Facilities good, location good

I had booked this stay for my parents who were visiting from Europe. A few things stood out negatively: (i) the front desk staff attempted to double-charge my parents the resort fee which I had already paid via booking.com, (ii) mini bar charges were added to the invoice that were never consumed, (iii) the breakfast-option that I had added to the booking was in fact only a 25$/day voucher, but no real options for that amount - conpletely useless to pre-book, (iv) the „free“ bikes advertised on booking.com in fact were only free for two hours —> my parents were charged an extra, unjustified ~350usd (due to the double-charged resort fee and mini bar). It was in fact waived completely upon us complaining, but the perception remains that staff tried to take advantage of my parents who were not fully clear about what was paid for already and for whom it‘s not very easy to push back because of langugae barriers. To me, this is misleading advertising and attempted fraud. I cannot recommend this property - which is unfortunate because I always had a positive opinion about the Kimpton brand

Awesome experience with amazing games splash pong was fun!

It was a fun time spending with my husband for the week and getting to compete against each other in splash pong. Had so much playing thanks to Sandro

Stayed there with my son (16), we loved it, super nice staff, super helpful as well, good free americano coffee and well equipped bar. Early morning beach walks were stunning and day trip to mainland for shopping were easy too.

My Kabin at the bar was immaculate. Not only do he go out his way to please he made sure to go over and beyond.

Poolside activities are great, especially Romi. Chilled vibes, great food. Rooms a bit dated but it is an art deco hotel. Drinks are expensive, 72 dollars for 2 pina coladas at the pool bar. But hey, youre on vacation right!!!!

Hotel is dated the room we were in could be doing with an upgrade. The air con is very loud and not cold. Our tv would switch off last night, there's holes in the pillow cases. Its a central location the poolside entertainment was great, the pool is fab. Drinks are expensive $76 for 2 pina coladas is a bit much since its pre-made.

My friends and I had an amazing stay! Aly at the Front Desk made us feel so welcome from check-in, and anytime we needed anything, she was always there to help with a beautiful smile. Shoutout also to Jenifer at Social Club for the great service and jokes. Everyone was so welcoming, thanks for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

Chose the Solei Beach Club at the Surfcomber Hotel for a recent happy hour with friends. What a great choice! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the beach club staff and promptly served delicious frozen cocktails! We were fortunate to meet Executive Chef Gaston Javier Sanchez who took time to give us an overview of the menu, answer our many questions and make some suggestions. What followed was a succession of delicious, beautifully presented dishes, ranging from croquettes and oysters to fish and pasta shared and enjoyed by everyone! Followed by luscious desserts! Our group loved Solei and will definitely be going back. We send our compliments to Chef Gaston Javier!

We were so happy with our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and it is kept up very nicely with all nice amenities like cold available in the lobby along with free self-serve coffee in the morning. The staff couldn’t have been better from the valet parking to people like Ghulam, one of the baggage helpers, and the several people we spoke with at the front desk. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. Because we are elite IHG members, we able to upgrade to a room with a porch overlooking the beautiful pool and tiki restaurant and what a great sight it was to see the ocean in the distance and we were able to walk right out onto the ocean walk and to the beach. In addition, only was our room cleaned well each day, leaving us daily items like a couple of bottles of water, aromatherapy packets, steam shower, aroma bars, and they even brought us a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. Location was also a great because it was within walking distance of many many restaurants and bars and shopping. Excellent excellent stay!

It starts with Abraham the bell man, helping us into the hotel to our room and when we left with our bags. What a friendly natured and so professional. We were greatful for his support today as we had a lot of luggage to fit in our car. He is an attribute to the hotel and I hope we get some recognition for his efforts. Overall the hotel experience was unforgettable, the service hotel staff were incredible, immaculately clean, great amenities etc. One personal downfall was the breakfast options, sometimes we just like some cereal & fruit, maybe an artisan buffet vibe over a small food menu.

Nice staff, wonderful food, but their beach is full of sargassum which ruined the vacation since the pool is very small crowded and very noisy with music blasting all day long. It is certainly NOT their fault that the beach is a disaster but that is the reality…one thing this hotel should improve on is the housekeeping. Its minimal and rooms are not done sometimes at 4,5 pm. I’ve never seen that in any other hotel.

Ileana has been exceptional service from the moment we walked in the door, she was the friendly face we were met with. After a stressful move from another hotel, she sent us pillow spray to to have a good nights sleep. The hotel is fabulous everyone has been so great! -Blake

We took a few days off as a family to relax and had a wonderful experience. Even though there was a lot of sargassum in the sea, we were able to enjoy the hotel and received excellent service; Delfina was very understanding and attentive throughout our stay. We will definitely be back.

Sandro convinced me to play water pong and so glad he did. He made it so much fun!!! Our cabana service with Sergio was phenomenal!! So attentive and friendly!!!

After leaving the cruise port we wanted to have a day to reset and recharge before traveling. This hotel was perfect. From the moment we stepped into the lobby we felt welcomed and comfortable! The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing with beautiful decor! We enjoyed lounging by the pool. We did the Aqua Zumba session with Derik and it was such a fun activity!! I would 10/10 recommend. We will be returning!

I loved staying here for my family vacations, overall the hotel has a lovely vibe and decor. Great location, there is so much to visit walking around the area. Everyone is nice, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is calm, family friendly, and comfortable. Every detail in the hotel is clean, matches the aesthetics and has extra options of fun activities, like yoga, pool golf, and bicycle rent. The room is not that big, but has nice views, great beds and although my room was near the pool and restaurant I heard not a single disturbing noise. I would recommend and stay here in my next visit, without a doubt worth it.

The pool was nice and the rooms were clean. We enjoyed having the bar and restaurant onsite. We also enjoyed the free bicycle rentals.

The bathrooms are so small that it makes it uncomfortable to shower and get ready. The hotel is also older and the hallways reflect the age. It could use some work in some areas.

Great resort as good if not better than Caribbean resorts. Food is a ten and all staff are very nice. Very clean. Delfina and Philise took great care of me as did Warren at cabana and dining staff.

Had a great stay at the Kimpton Surfcomber. The highlight of our stay was Sandro, who helped keep us busy with fun games like splash pong. The room was clean, staff was very attentive, great location. No complaints at all besides the price of the food, but that is everywhere in Miami Beach

Great hotel, I try to do a yearly staycation around early July every year and I’ve been coming to this hotel for the past 3 years. It always really nice, clean nice rooms, awesome pool area with poolside bar, and the food is always really good. The staff are really nice and accommodating, this year I played a game of splash bombs with my cousin for some hotel points and our game initiator/ referee Sandro was awesome. Another great stay.

El desayuno, el area de la piscina, el personal, y que tiene muy buena ubicacion, muy serca de todo.

Lo que no me gustó es que la piscina cierra a las 7:pm, y que no nos pudimos bañar en la playa por la cantidad de sargasso negro que tenía. Y otra cosa que no nos gustó es que cobran el 20% de propina, pensamos que es exagerado.
