The history
Dinner and Breakfast took a long time. We had to go ask for the bill to get on the road.
Good ambiance. The rooms were nicely renovated. The bed was very comfortable.
Costly rooms and restaurant items. Concerns/message from management, prior to check in that rooms may not be available until 7 pm that evening due to a large volume of check ins. We got our room but one couple we traveled with did not have access to a room for several hours after the 3 pm check in time. Management should hire extra staff and manage this issue internally given their knowledge of the annual event taking place the weekend we stayed.
Great location
Nothing
Everything, read, Wikipedia, the history is incredible.
Couldn’t have been better!!
Loved the location
The toilets are very small and uncomfortably positioned
First impressions were amazing. The lobby and restaurant were beautiful and spotless, and breakfast was genuinely one of the best I've had at a hotel. The amenities were fantastic too — the gym and hot tub were some of the best I've used.
Unfortunately, the room let the experience down a bit. Ours was positioned right above the fans, so there was constant noise. The bathtub was old, stained, and chipped, which felt out of step with how polished the rest of the property was. The walls were also very thin — we could hear everything happening down the hall. I'd still recommend it for the public spaces, food, and amenities, but I'd ask for a room away from mechanical equipment and hope they invest in some bathroom updates.
Location, ambiance
Beautiful property with outstanding service. Will definitely stay here again.
I have nothing to suggest for improvements.
The lobby bar was comfortable.
I have never stayed in a room with as much sound leakage from the adjourning room as we had in 435. The explanation by the front desk to address our concerns was inadequate. However, the manager did a very good job of helping us change rooms. There should have been advance warning that the two main doors are not accessible. I arrived with three heavy suitcases.
The hotel overall was centrally placed
The toilet in the suite
Lobby is pretty
Hot water didn’t work, fridge that I didn’t use at all started leaking like crazy during the night and woke me up had to put a towel under it. Walls are thin, heard doors throughout the night. And.. Everything is another charge, too. WiFi that actually works? $15. Parking? $20. Breakfast? I think it was like 40pp? We didn’t end up staying for it, might be off on the price a bit but it wasn’t cheap for a buffet. Overall it was just terrible for the price. If it was $100 I’d say ah whatever ya know it’s cheap but it really wasn’t cheap so goodness knows I won’t be back. The double tree down the road is a lot nicer for what you pay, although the lobby isn’t plastered in gold paint so you lose that if it’s your thing.
All great. Would liked to spent more time in the area. So will be back
Everything was great.
Un service incroyable, une attention à chaque détail et un très bel hôtel historique ! Une équipe à l’écoute pour nous aider sur chaque demande et un support rapport qualité prix.
Convenient location and clean room
Need to pay for parking which is $21, not cheap at all
The staff was amazing, super friendly all around!!! 5 stars!!! The room was refreshed daily, and it really is a great historical building. It was right where I needed to be for work.
The room although well appointed, was a little tight, especially for a longer stay like mine. There is no store in or near the hotel, if you want to eat, especially in the evening, the choices are room service, the hotel restaurant or a couple of nearby restaurants.
Wondering why no wifi password was offered
Neat and clean

Hotel Saskatchewan oozes with timeless elegance while providing impeccable service in every section of the hotel. My room was spectacular, beyond my expectations (with thanks to Elias). Breakfast was of the highest quality, enhanced even more by Joy, Joanne and Soula who addressed my every need, ensuring my breakfast was perfect. Rouen from housekeeping did an amazing job and on other days when she wasn't there, the rest of the staff did an outstanding job with my room. Thank you. Mr. Singh, the manager, went out of his way to make sure my stay was exceptional. Many thanks. The staff at reception who provided me with brilliant service, always remembering everything about my circumstance. I know I'm forgetting some names (I apologize) and the ones I do recall are Trinitta, Muskan and Tanneer. Thank you. Again, special thanks to Elias for going far beyond the call of duty in helping me transfer photos to a hard drive. A perfect hotel in a perfect location with a staff of an exceptional quality. Many thanks.
Location,historical character.
No internet , breakfast so-so. Staff friendly however infrastructure not up to par for a hotel of this class. Would be hesitant to recommend.
Lovely hotel
Nothing
Cosy comfortable room. Attentive staff. Nice location.
classic hotel in great condition, helpful friendly staff. The bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed a great sleep.
Had a very good stay at Hotel Sask Downtown. I was there for a four-day conference, and the overall experience was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating with any requests, which made the stay very comfortable. The service throughout was consistently positive. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and I would be happy to stay again.
Everything
AC would not cool down the room. TV was stuck on Google Barcode page
Loved the easy access to lake & Leg
Wine on menu that I wanted was not available
We loved the decor, a perfect blend of the original and contemporary upgrades, including the fact the original mail slots have been kept. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive. All in all a terrific stay.
Somehow this site has us hoisting an American flag. We’re Canadian.
Downtown vlose to Globe Theatre, where we attended an enjoyable musical. Just 2 city blocks away. Parking, porter and staff service and reception was excellent. Rooms comfortable and clean. Lotsnofmold world atmosphere and charm all over to discover. Menu well appointed, Service excellent.
They didn’t accept Apple Pay which was quite frustrating. I also hauled in tons of luggage and nobody offered a luggage cart or assistance of any kind
A beautiful facility; large comfortable room.
What’s not to like?!
Comfort, location and staff
No a/c room was terribley uncomfortable to sleep in
A special place… with all the comfort of 21st century, but the spirit and atmosphere of a 100 year old building. And the staff was outstanding, helpful, friendly, always on top of my wishes and needs before I even was fully aware of them.
Nothing to mention.
the historical component to building - so much to look at the staff were amazing especially Kate - server
Beautiful historic hotel with super nice staff. There are some high end options food and beverages.
Parking was tight, tight.
Lovely historic hotel. The staff are exceptional! This was a delightful stop on our cross Canada journey. 🇨🇦
Tasty breakfast
Zero bang for the buck. Overpriced does not come close to how ripped off I felt when we left.
Liked the central location. The property was nicely appointed. We chose the location in order to attend a reception being held in one of the meeting rooms.
Parking was an additional $22.00/night which seems high. I did not see this on the booking information and likely wouldn’t have booked had I known. The water pressure was erratic while taking a shower. Water would change pressure and completely stop for several seconds. The Kleenex and toilet tissue were very thin. Seemed to be one ply. I have had better toilet tissue at a Holiday Inn. It ripped while trying to tear it off the role. Disappointing for an elite property.
I cannot recall the last time I stayed in such a great hotel. The rooms were well appointed and spacious, the decor and ambience was lovely, the service at the front desk was great, the service in the bar and dining spaces was also excellent. The food was great. The hotel has an unusually large and well accommodated fitness centre. I was there to participate in a running race so it was also super convenient that they have a nice spa right in the hotel.
Nothing,.
My husband and I went to a wedding and he was ordering Crown Royal and Coke all night, my husband noticed the Crown Royal was extremely watered down. We requested to speak to the manager to discuss the premium drinks which was watered down. She in turn stated “that was the good bottle.” My husband took a picture of the bottle and they took the bottle away. The Groom found out about it from another guest who was drinking the same drink as my husband. We all then requested her bring back the bottle and for some reason and suspiciously there was a higher level of liquid. The manager asked him “what can I do for this to go away” I wanted my money back and she gave me back $150. We’re extremely disappointed that this happened in the Sask hotel of all places. We will be contacting the hotel, but we wanted the public to be aware.
We like that they preserved the history, in SK that's the only hotel like that. And we love our stay. Everyrhing we love it. I like the front desk her name isValentina, she made our check in so easy, so friendly and give us all the details properly. She made sure we felt special with a little present because my partners birthday. And there's one more really good employee in breakfast area we don't her name but her service is fabulous, she's wearing eyeglass with brown/blonde hair.

It is a beautifully crafted vintage hotel that has a grandiose feel while still maintaining charm and warmth. A great blend of all the best things! We ate at The Burrow/ Circa for supper. Food was excellent and service was exemplary. Had Easter Brunch in the Dining Room and again both food and service were above and beyond. The atmosphere for both were to be reveled in. We used the hot tub which is situated off a very well appointed fitness center. The water was hot, and again the decor was very tastefully done. Our room was a king room. High ceilings, a subtle color palette and modernized washroom. Bed was just the right blend of soft and firm. Pillows were full but still soft. Room was very quiet. Elevators are quick to arrive and deliver. Honestly one of the nicest places I have stayed in. Highly recommend.
There was no fan in the bathroom.
I can't imagine how you would give a hotel the ambiance that makes it feel like you.ve come home when you walk through the front door, but the Hotel Saskatchewan has always offered this feeling. From Leah who looked after our reservation to Valentina who always greets us like family at the reception desk, to Jodi in the lounge, the staff here is exceptional. Our stays here are always very enjoyable and we would recommend the hotel very highly.

Nice hotel
Upgraded to a suite, was excellent. Other family members stayed in regular guest rooms , all very nice .Should be noted that it is an old structure despite upgrading rooms the washrooms are still quite small. Was very clean and comfortable . . The atmosphere in the Lobby and the CIrca 57 retsaurant/lounge/bar is superb. We had breakfast and dinner there as well as afternoon drinks. There is a special toast to a local distillery every evening at 5,00pm compete with train whistle and description of toast . Everyone receives a shot glass, a unique and fun experience . The food was delicious for all the meals we had . Service a tad slow but everything was worth the wait. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The European elegance our guests were looking for.
Staff were kind and accommodating. Rooms were well appointed and clean.

Great stay as always
Great place to stay
Comfortable beds. Great restaurant staff
Covered parking would be great
Such an amazing hotel…just walking in makes you feel like royalty.
It’s a beautiful place, clean and close to the city
I hated the fact that booking.com says breakfast inclusive but got to the hotel and had to pay extra $199 towards basic breakfast. The total for breakfast only for 2 days was $399.60. The Manager gave us vouchers for $200 CAD to cover for breakfast, so we still had to pay $199.60 which was quite disappointing. I read the terms of the booking and no where did it state that we needed to pay for breakfast as the option we chose was breakfast inclusive. So it’s quite disappointing and would love a refund. Also I forgot a pair of shoes and toilet bag that had all my toiletries in them, the bag containing everything was never found. So honestly my overall experience wasn’t pleasant like I expected. Spending extra on breakfast that had already been prepaid and then losing my valuables.
I love staying at the Hotel Sask, and I will keep coming back for many years to come. The staff, lounge, and suites are exceptional.
Clean and very nice. Rooms are spacious.
The only thing I would improve is greeting in lounge area. This is a simple acknowledgement of when ppl arrive and menu. A hostess would support this as staff can be busy.
This is a beautiful hotel - we always enjoy staying here. Service and staff are great!
the adjoining room suite was exceptional.
Most everything is very nice!
Parking in winter is its only set back as the lot is open to the elements , guests staying at hotel could be at the back of the lot in a blizzard with a function going on ( like us on first night). Maybe reserved parking for guests would be better.
Beautiful
Nothing
Staff was really good and helpful
Bathroom taps and coffee machine so dirty didn't brew coffee after seeing debris in water tank
Not much. The spa for my wife seemed okay but the rest not so much.
The place has become quite run down and not what it used to be. Moldy drinks in an otherwise empty room fridge, Not as single of the 5 room USB chargers were working, noisy due to roof air conditioners right outside my window. Hotel was generally quite dirty and worn down. Breakfast was supposed to be included but only up to a certain amount which of course is shy of the cost of the buffet so you will still pay some for breakfast. Parking, although included, is next to impossible due to the small size and crowded lot. This is Saskatchewan - people mostly drive big trucks here - most of which had a hard time parking.
It was our first time visiting Regina, and our stay here truly became the highlight of our weekend. The food and drinks were excellent, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. I’ve always admired the Marriott Autograph Collection for how well they preserve the historical character of their properties, and this hotel is no exception; elegant, charming, and thoughtfully maintained. The property also offers everything you could possibly need: a spa, bar, café, restaurant, and even a jewelry store. You could easily spend your entire stay here without ever needing to step outside!
It’s a grand hotel & stepping into it makes you feel special. The service is immaculate..a real cut above. The rooms are spacious & you want for nothing. A treat, whether it’s once in a while or regularly…each stat stay at this hotel is a treat.
We recently stayed at this historic hotel in Regina, and despite being nearly a century old, it's still well maintained. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The hotel offers a good fitness center, convenient parking, and a small park across the street, with several restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable, though it was located next to the elevator, which caused some noise at night. We reported this at checkout, and the team assured us they would update my profile to avoid rooms near the elevator during future stays. I liked the great breakfast selection, and the self-serve iced water and tea in the lobby. It’s also pet-friendly, allowing dogs and cats for an additional $50 per stay. Overall, it’s a charming hotel with great service, and I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Regina.
Absolutely exceptional service from every single member of staff. Gloria at the front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Jody at the Circa 27 bar was exceptional, also going above and beyond in the service he gave me. Daniel and O’Neil were splendid and so helpful and genuinely kind to me. If I could live at the Hotel Sask, I would. I can’t wait to return there. It felt like home!
It has great atmosphere and old world charm. The location is excellent and the park across the road is very picturesque. We were in a suite. It was roomy and comfortable.
The bathroom was a bit cramped. However, it is an old building and you just can’t re-design them easily.
A beautiful historic hotel! Tasteful and classy with such excellent staff.
I wish it were closer to where we lived so we could visit more often!
Location - architecture, staff.
Rumpled carpet in our room
Wonderful old hotel with lots of character and great staff. Quiet, clean with lovely old furnishings. I loved the chandeliers and cozy bar.

Perfekt gelegen in der Innenstadt. Wichtige Punkte sind fußläufig zu erreichen
This location is central to many business centres
Great old hotel, nicely modernized with good amenities.
Nice hotel overall. Stayed in a Queen suite and in order to stand in front on the bathroom sink, the door had to be closed, way too small a space for me. Great food and check in was fast and easy.
