Extremely rude front desk clerk. Extremely expensive and charged me 36$ after I had already paid for my room without explanation of new charge. Very dissatisfied and never returning!

I am beyond frustrated with my stay at this hotel, where they charge top-dollar rates—as if you're staying in downtown Vancouver—yet deliver abysmal service and terrible conditions. Prior to arrival, I was assured via messages that while they couldn't reserve parking for larger vehicles, they would help me park in the lot across the street, only to watch them break their own rules for a local resident right in front of me and then completely backtrack at check-in, making absurd excuses about what they "actually meant." To make matters worse, the room was dirty, the mattress was painfully uncomfortable, the refrigerator was completely broken, and the breakfast was hands down the worst I have ever seen at any hotel. Paying premium prices for misleading staff, broken amenities, and filth is unacceptable—do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

The weekend breakfast person very friendly, the week morning person lacked knowledge on the food amount to make so many of us did not have breakfast.

I had cancelled through Enzo for this weekend of August 8-10 and booked for the weekend of August 1-3 at the Comfort Inn, which was a great place to stay, but it didn’t have the kitchenette that was requested or the queen bed. It did have a king bed very comfortable, but I was still missing the kitchenette so all our food was spoiled due to Expedia’s decision. I have called and messaged Expedia contacted them and they stated that Enzo would get back to me.as I received an email stating my booking is still pending, It has been 24 hours and I still have not received any word from him. I truly do not understand the way their communication works because it lacks the follow up that was requested that was twice throughout the day, not including an email I sent to Enzo, no response. Phone calls, very disappointed in his lack of communicating with us.

Bed was not good. This reminded me why I quit staying at the choice group of hotels.

The location was convenient and the room was clean and comfortable.

While breakfast was tasty, there wasn't much there (quantity) when I went to eat. What was there was tasty, but I wanted a little more.

TV did not work. Was only fixed next day. There was no slip safe mat in the shower. Not as clean as should be. AC very noisy 2 lights didn't work.

The room was very small and cold when I arrived, and very noisy with the air conditioners going in the room and hearing surrounding rooms air conditioners going, the floors were laminate and cold, paper cups, overall felt very cheap which was disappointing due to the very high price I was charged to stay at that Comfort Inn. I will never stay there again.

I didn't like the feeling of being nickel and dimed for everything, also showing 3 different preauthorization payments pending on my credit card each for the night stay. Front desk was unfriendly.

The hotel was smoke ridden. Nothing has been replaced since smoking was acceptable in hotels. I was unable to stay there.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also reasonably good.

It was noisy, with a lot of people running and banging around in the hallways after 9-10pm. The juice that was served at breakfast was also very low quality.

It was in a good area. And had the ability to easily take our dog outside through the sliding door. (This was very easily the best feature they had)

On first inspection of the room I could tell they rushed to clean it, Ive worked in housekeeping for long enough to recognize laziness. For example the floor had a grey colour from housekeeper not sweeping up the dirt before mopping. Instead it was dragged all over the room. I should have complained over that but our trip was very busy and I didn’t have time to waste at front desk over a matter I could live with. This trend of lazy cleaning followed into the bathroom where there was streaks and water spots everywhere. This type of cleaning I’d expect from a 100$ or less a night motel (not a hotel to this standards). Secondly when we were ready to go to sleep my other half went into the bathroom and discovered the nightlight was just a step away from lighting the wall on fire and had completely melted the top. This my partner brought to front desk. As well as a picture of the wall. Front desk didn’t seem to care that our room almost caught on fire. Just a really nonchalant attitude that we wouldn’t have to pay for damage that was done… like that was not my concern. My concern was how many other rooms had these night lights in them and how the works didn’t seem to care if it caught fire. I stayed up well past midnight because I couldn’t get that thought out of my head. What if the vacant room beside us had one and it started a fire in the middle of the night. It made me wish I would have just stayed at the super 8 like we normally do.

couldn't stay because for some dumb reason their system accepts reservations after midnight but doesn't swnd it to the reception. I also asked the receptionist to book a room on the spot and he flat out said he has no way of doing that. This is the first time i've had to deal with a situation this stupid. the hotel was clearly not fully booked but couldn't get me a room.

Breakfast was ok. The lady working was VERY nice

They put us on the second floor and when we brought in the full luggage rack, they told us there was no elevator. What hotel doesn’t have elevators???!!! They said they would change our room to the first floor, but the room would be $20.00 more. WHY???!!! We said that was stupid and we didn’t want to pay that. The desk clerk said he would change it to the first floor and not charge extra.

Breakfast was good and the staff in the kitchen area was outstanding.

There was a major, loud disturbance in the middle of the night that went on for more than two hours. It was frightening, profane and unexplained. I assume the police put an end to it, but as I paid top dollar for a night’s sleep, I believe I should be offered a partial refund. This stay was for a family funeral and a sleepless night made a difficult day even harder.

Breakfast....I know it was included in the price...however if this is what you serve to your guests then do not bother offering this included so called breakfast.

I didnt like the bush the kids found full of needles, and condoms. The chick that was arrested friday. Didn't enjoy the guy banging on my door trying to get in or threatening the kids that were trying to get back into our room Saturday.

No room to park a 17 trailer. We had to park across a busy road in the Canadian Tire parking lot. Made us very nervous. No selection of restaurants nearby. We were directed to a restaurant in walking distance ( the only one) that was okay.

Easy parking. Sliding doors by the parking made for easy unloading and packing the car in the morning. Breakfast good and included egg rounds, sausage and potatoes. Was great for our one night pitstop. Close to stores and fast food plsces. Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay over again.

The room was clean. Evironment quiet during the night. It would be nice though to have 2 chairs in a room because we like to play some games in the evenings.

Staff were great and shipping was right across the street. Facility is a bit worn and could use a facelift.

First time guest. Nice location. No corporate rates. I asked to be switched to ground level, was told no because Expedia has me booked in upstairs and there was nothing they were willing to do. For future purposes I asked for corporate rates for teachers or anything and there was none. I checked in and realized a dirty towel was in my room. I call down, no answer but she called back and come and grab the towel despite my concerns for an unclean room she took the towel and left. No offer for room change.

Very nice king bed rooms. We stayed in 2 different rooms, both very clean and well kept. It was a bit of inconvenience to have to switch rooms, but worked out okay.

After traveling 21 hrs we checked in with a less than professional looking, nor friendly staff member. When we got to our room we found it so so for cleanliness. Dirt on the comforter, hair in the bath tub and a blood stain on the bathroom wall. We were too exhausted to ask to change rooms so cleaned ourselves. The lady serving breakfast did nothing but complain. At check out, again non professional looking staff....the lady was wearing a baseball cap. We paid for an upgraded room which I really doubt it was
