Very close to restaurant options - main floor rooms had sliding doors out to parking lot so your car could be right at your room. Good breakfast too!

Room temperature was uneven. Cold air blasted near bed, even when temperature was increased.

Das Frühstück. Der Raum war sehr ungemütlich und es gab nur Pappteller und Pappbecher. Das Besteck aus Holz, mit Glück ergatterte man ein richtiges Besteck. In der Woche gab es nur bis 9.30 Uhr Frühstück. Ist knapp bemessen, wenn man im Urlaub ist. Der Fitnessraum verdient leider an Hand seiner Größe gar nicht den Namen und das einzige Laufband war defekt.

Breakfast was a nice touch.

Our stay was almost sleepless because the air con unit made strange , loud noises when turning on and off (automatically.). I unplugged it until the room heated to a point of discomfort. Then we had no choice but to plug it back in and deal with noises. Also , terrible parking for second floor rooms.....

There was a wide selection of items. The bacon and sausages were excellent👍 Also a small thing but it makes a difference. The toaster was set properly. . . No burnt edges🙂

Room cards didn’t work effectively locking me out back in the parking lot in the rain. Then they didn’t work in the room door necessitating a long walk back to front desk just to get the aged excuse of cards coming in contact with phones etc eliminate the card strip. (Which never happened)

The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good.

The showers need improvement. There is a solid glass door that covers half of the entrance to the shower. One must enter the shower, turn on the still cold water before it warms up. The water flooded onto the floor as well.

The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean with a good supply of towels.

Our room was on the 2nd floor at the end of an extremely long hall and that made it a bit challenging.

The breakfast was below standard and did not meet our expectations. Although the room was spacious, it had very limited storage space for clothes and personal belongings. The hotel also does not have an elevator, which can be inconvenient for guests with luggage. Additionally, there was a lot of noise coming from the neighboring room until around 2:00 a.m., which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Clean, quiet, just needed a bed so it did the job

Room wasn't near doors to get out. My husband has difficulty walking and room was in middle upstairs. Not very accessible for disabilities. I should have stipulated a room on first floor so partly my fault but I didn't know what floor and they were all booked up. Also not enough parking. We had to move garbage to park. Otherwise it was a nice room.

Overall it was decent but there was a little of kids at the hotel who were misbehaving. They were banging on our door and running up and down the hallway and yelling. We had to put a complaint in because it was just not acceptable. We were coming from three hours away to have a nice quiet weekend but unfortunately it was not like that.

Terrible experience

Was rented a room with faulty A/C, picture enclosed showing the room at 26 Degrees Celsius even though the air was on cool. The manager, Lori, took no responsibility for this, saying they found nothing wrong with unit when they checked the room despite the photo l took. She stated it was my fault for not contacting the front desk in the wee hours of the morning to see if they could've fixed the A/C or moved rooms in the middle of the night, very inconvenient to say the least. After repeated calls to this manager before connecting and explaining my displeasure, she still placed the blame on us and took no responsibility. Very poor, and l would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone in the future.

What a cute spot, clean and tidy bedroom with a friendly customer service experience. Noise level wasn't an issue, plenty of privacy and great high speed internet connection to catch up on your mobile devices. The free morning breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from and it's very balanced.

Front staff young woman tending last night was excellent and went out of her way to help us. She was only staff member on so we were thankful for her. She had a lot of work for one person.

The man kept walking around the parking lot three times looking at our kayaks attached to the roof of our car and we wondered if he was casing it out to take them during the night. Your female staff member said she passed the information on tonight staff to watch to see if he returned the fourth time.

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection. Room was older decor, but well maintained and clean. Bed was very comfortable. All staff, from the front desk to cleaning were efficient and friendly.

The staff was quite good at solving the problem of the first smelly, threadbare room, and moving us to a better one on the second floor where they had to fix the air conditioning. But they did, but only after we had one night of a 25°C room.

The first room was on the bottom floor and had a strong, unpleasant odor, a threadbare carpet, noticeable dust and a chair with holes in the upholstery. We complained and removed to a room on the second floor, which was much better, although the air-conditioning did not work and we had a 25°C night, which was not pleasant.

I stay at a lot of hotels and have never written a poor review, until now. When using third party booking additional notes don’t always get to the destination hotel. I was traveling with a pet, indicated so when booked. When I got there I had to not only pay the pet fee ( understandable) but had to pay for an upgrade to be on the main floor (only place for pets). The beds were aweful (and I’m not overly fussy) but they were very old, and sounded like thick plastic coverings may have been on the mattress. Breakfast was really underwhelming - hard plastic like eggs/omelette type discs, cold cardboard like hashbrowns and way over cooked sausage. Keys didn’t work on the outside entrances, had to get them reinstated and not that this was the fault of the hotel but there was no parking left when I got back about 1030 pm. I was just there three months ago, and while it is an older hotel, I didn’t seem to have these concerns.

We liked the location, bed was comfy, breakfast was awesome and a hot breakfast, GF break was available. The staff looking after it was exceptional! Friendly staff to check in too. Roo. was great and relaxing.

It was comfortable, affordable, and will stay again when bringing our daughter down to school at Trent.

I want the front desk covered thru the night. If there is some kind of problem in the hotel there is someone on site to contact. It was a weekday night so maybe that was why it was so lovely quiet. Other people may have been there because of work and so slept instead of partying and making a disturbance.

We found our room was very warm and we didn't really need so much blankets/duvets.

Great location. Was close to where I was.doing business. Rooms were very clean and front desk staff were.fast and courteous.

Not having parking designated for specific room. Difficult to find unit from outside unless someone in the room opens door. Lock on exterior door a bit tricky.

Check in was at 3. We tried to check in at 130 and room was not available which is fair but when we went back at 3pm the line to check I was put the door. We got in line at 3pm and did not get to our room until 4pm. My husband has health issues and needed to lie down. An hour to check in is not acceptable! Cars were parked everywhere making it very difficult to get in and out! We will not be staying here again

Small rooms, dated. Place stunk of marijuana in the evenings and early morning. It was unbearable at times and you needed to open the window in the middle winter to get relief.

This was the perfect stop for the two of us and our dog. Loved the way the rooms open to the car park, making it easy to unload the car and take the dog for walks. Super comfy bed too.

L’internet…..impossible À deux reprises, je suis allée à la réception mentionnée que l’Internet ne fonctionnait pas et que je n’arrivais pas à me brancher. On a pu rien faire pour moi pour me brancher internet. Alors je suis ÉNORMÉMENT déçue…et perte de temps

The breakfast selection, especially the eggs, was unacceptable. We have never seen round egg portions before. We sampled one and it had no taste, more like rubber. There was no lactose free yogurt or milk. Anyone can consume lactose free product whether they are lactose free or not, but if you're lactose free you cannot consume non lactose free products. The oatmeal was in individual packets rather than already prepared. We ended up not eating the breakfast. By the way, there was no one else in the breakfast area so perhaps that speaks volumes!

Breakfast was satisfactory and helped me get a good start to the day.

The problem was in the bathroom; the toilet leaked onto the floor every time it was flushed. The leak seemed to be from under the commode, and water leaked along the tile grout out two feet. I was forever covering it with toilet paper. I did mention it to the manager and she said she would have the maintenance man look after it. It needed the unit to be lifted and reset, maybe even a new sealing ring / gasket. I was there for 9 nights! Housekeeping was irregular and not every day. If I was paying full rates for daily service, I was short-changed.
