Danae Suites Santorini

Nous avons aimé l'emplacement qui est à proximité du centre-ville. Le lit était confortable et le lieu était propre.

Nous avons choisi cette suite en nous fiant aux photos présentées sur Booking, mais nous avons été déçus à notre arrivée. La piscine, notamment, bénéficie d’un vis-à-vis qui n’apparaît pas clairement sur les photos et qui a fortement impacté notre expérience. Nous avons trouvé les photos assez trompeuses sur ce point. Les horaires d’arrivée et de départ sont également trop restrictifs pour un établissement à ce tarif : arrivée à 15h et départ à 11h. Des horaires plus souples seraient vraiment appréciables, d’autant plus que nous n’avons pas pu profiter suffisamment de la piscine. Celle-ci étant exposée à l’ombre le matin, l’eau est trop froide pour pouvoir réellement s’y baigner à cette période. Avec une arrivée à 15h et un départ à 11h, le temps réellement disponible pour profiter de la piscine est donc très limité. À près de 300 € la nuit, nous estimons que cela devrait être pris en considération et que les plages horaires pourraient être davantage adaptées. Par ailleurs, nous avons du mal à considérer cet établissement comme un véritable hôtel 4 étoiles. Les prestations et le niveau de service ne nous semblent pas à la hauteur de cette catégorie. Par exemple, des sacs plastiques contenant le linge de toilette sont laissés devant les portes des chambres, ce qui donne une impression peu élégante et peu conforme au standing attendu. Le petit-déjeuner est également très décevant compte tenu de son prix. Le buffet est assez médiocre et la qualité des produits proposés n’est clairement pas au rendez-vous. Enfin, nous attendions un niveau de service bien supérieur, notamment concernant la prise en charge de nos bagages. À ce tarif, nous nous attendons à être davantage accompagnés et chouchoutés par le personnel. En résumé, l’établissement est loin d’avoir répondu à nos attentes, notamment en termes de standing, de qualité des prestations et de service. Pour près de 300 € la nuit, le rapport qualité-prix nous semble clairement insuffisant.

Wspaniały hotel. Obsługa bardzo pomocna i profesjonalna. Cicho i spokojnie. Piękny widok na morze i góry. Wspaniały infinity basen z Wisłokiem na zachód słońca. Można się na pewno zrelaksować. Blisko do do okolicznych atrakcji. Śniadania - dobra kawa w pokojach i na śniadaniu, duży wybór dań a la carte. Położenie przepięknie, z dla od tłumów a w bardzo malowniczym zakątku.

The staff were truly amazing, made you feel to special and welcome and gave a beautiful introduction to the area, sights available and tour of their hotel. Beautiful tranquil ambience, the facilities and size of the room was added bonus. The attentiveness of the two beautiful ladies at receptionist when we arrived, every morning was just a amazing and this continued throughout our stay daily.

Nothing to fault, maybe a few more vegetarian options for breakfast but it's a very small thing

Όλα ήταν πραγματικά άψογα..από το μέρος του ξενοδοχείου που ήταν ήσυχο και ειδυλλιακό μέχρι και το δωμάτιο που ήταν εξαιρετικά άνετο,οι άνθρωποι που μας εξυπηρέτησαν με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο,η ζεστασιά και η ευγένεια τους θα μας μείνουν αξέχαστες!!

Petit hotel molt bonic amb piscina espectacular. Instal·lacions noves i molt ben cuidades. El personal fantàstic, sempre ens van ajudar i ens van donar molt bons consells. Les habitacions amplies i molt ben equipades.

L'accès és una mica complicat, ja que has de passar per un carrer molt estret, però com no hi ha molta gent, no vam tenir mai problemes.

Danae Suites Santorini was absolutely exceptional. We stayed in the Honeymoon Villa with private pool to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice. The villa itself was stunning, with an amazing view and everything we could have hoped for. We genuinely had an unforgettable stay and enjoyed every moment. Even before we arrived, we were in touch with Anna, who was incredibly helpful in organising our airport pick-up and couples massages. From the moment we arrived, Anna and Stella gave us the warmest welcome and their hospitality was truly exceptional. They genuinely make you feel valued and go out of their way to help with anything you need. Whether it was arranging taxis to Fira and Oia, helping with requests, or simply making sure we were comfortable, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We had an amazing time at Danae Suites and honestly cannot recommend it enough. The villa, the views, the hospitality and the whole experience made our 10-year anniversary incredibly special. We will definitely be coming back! ❤️🇬🇷

I think the lunch and dinner menu could be better but then you are always going out for dinner in Oia or Fira. So not a big deal.

Le personnel était souriant et bienvaillant. Un grand merci à Carlos pour sa patiente à cause de notre anglais approximatif. L'hôtel était magnifique surtout la piscine à débordement avec vue sur la mer. La grande chambre était très bien et le petit déjeuner était incroyable.

L'accès à l'hôtel , en pente et exigu, n'est pas facile car la route n'est pas bitumé. Beaucoup de poussière. Les serviettes de bains n'ont pas été changé durant tout le séjour

Tout était parfait : le confort, le personnel, la piscine privée et la chambre, c’était super. Le personnel venait nettoyer la chambre tous les jours, c’est un gros point positif. Vous pouvez tout leur communiquer sur WhatsApp, ils répondent très rapidement.

Je regrette que le petit-déjeuner ne commence qu’à 8h, surtout par temps chaud, lorsque l’on souhaite partir tôt visiter pour éviter la foule.

Everything was superb. The staff were so welcoming. Stella, Anna & Serafeim were gems, extremely warm, welcoming and always helpful. The site itself is a pleasant 25 mins walk from Oia through the Finika village. The views and serenity of Danoe Suites was desirable and super beautiful, anyone would just love it.

The views from the room are absolutely stunning. The staff is amazing, which made the stay even better.

There are no bad things about this property. The only minor thing is the narrow street the car needs to go through to get to the property.

The hotel is of a high standard in service, courtesy of the staff, the rooms, the pool and the location. It allows for a perfect vacation and rest. The breakfast is good and tasty.

Access to the hotel (narrow road and partly unpaved). This did not prevent us from enjoying the excellent hotel.

Our room was fantastic: spotlessly clean, comfortable, and with a breathtaking view. The location is also great, just a 5 minutes scooter ride from the center of Oia and about 15–20 minutes from Fira. Nuestra estancia allí fue perfecta. Tenemos que destacar la atención de todo el personal, muy educados y amables en todo momento, muy pendientes de que estuviéramos agusto. La villa con jacuzzi fue increíble, era preciosa, todo cuidado al detalle y muy limpio. La cama comodisima. Está un poco apartado de Oia lo que te permite estar muy tranquilo. Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable, perfecta para descansar.

Świetny hotel. Przemiła obsługa. Bardzo dobre śniadania. Niedaleko do kaldery słynącej z białych domków. Cisza i spokój. Piękny pokój stylizowany na jaskinię. Polecam osobom, ktore chcą odpocząć w ciszy.

Woda w basenie troszkę zimna ( mi to bardzo nie przeszkadzało, ale już mamie było ciężko wejść).

The staff were so attentive and helpful. The rooms are big and it’s only a 25 minute walk into Oia. It was a great place to stay with friends. The cave room in which my two friends and I stayed in was massive and excellent value for money.

Un soggiorno davvero all'insegna del relax e con tutto il necessario. Camera spaziosissima con ogni comfort, bar/ristorante in piscina infinity. Tutto perfetto, grazie a tutto lo staff!

We loved absolutely everything about this property. From the time we arrived. We were greeted so warmly by Stella and Sulmien. We arrived late. They took our bags, showed us to our beautiful suite. And showed us the nearest restaurant which was only a 5 minute walk. Our suite was beautiful, absolutely spotless and huge. The bed was so comfortable. The outdoor hot tub was a bonus. Absolutely fabulous. The next morning we went for breakfast in the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. A full choice of pretty much everything you could ask for. Everything was delicious. Kostos was our server every day. He could not do enough for us. Always smiling and so helpful towards all the guests. An absolute credit to the hotel. The manager Chris is outstanding. He manages everything in the hotel. He could not do enough for us. Gave us a late check on the day of our departure. Nothing was a problem. He even drove us into Fira one of the evenings we went for dinner. Anna was also a pleasure at reception along with Stella. The staff at this boutique hotel are like a family. They go out of their way to make every guest feel special. We stayed for 4 nights. The next time we hope to stay longer. The food in the hotel for lunch was excellent. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from Oia. We enjoyed the walk out and back every evening. Myself and my husband cannot wait to go back to this wonderful hotel.

El personal que lo regenta es de lo mejor que he conocido nunca. Cercanos y atentos. La habitación con la piscina es un paraíso de relax y desconexión. Habitación amplia y con todo lo necesario para una estancia de confort. Desayuno increible

Very new, modern and well maintained. The pool bar view is a thing of other planet, seems we were in other planet. I must confess the top notch item was the hospitality and the caring that the whole staff had with us, they were completely lovely, specially Chris, Sera, Anna, Cristos and Kostas! Superbe hôtel avec sympathique piscine a débordement. Les chambres sont magnifiques avec une belle déco et tres bien équipées . Le personnel a été très  arrangeant pour apporter une réponse à toutes nos exigences ( collation en arrivée tardive,  location de véhicules à la réception,  accès piscine après check out avant aéroport  ... Mention spéciale à Anna .🙂 Conseil important : l hôtel est difficilement accessible en taxi jusqu'à la réception ; prevoyez la réservation de leur navette aéroport ( 50€ ) mais qui simplifie grandement la vie . Un bémol : le chocolat chaud est en supplément au petit déjeuner. 😌

Fantastic stay in Santorini! The hotel was perfect, with beautiful rooms, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. A special thanks to Stella at the reception for her kindness and helpfulness, and to Kostas at the bar for his warm hospitality and outstanding service. They truly made our stay extra special. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an sehr gut aufgehoben in dieser familiären Atmosphäre. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und bestens über alles informiert. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und speziell zu erwähnen ist das aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Personal. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück hat uns gut gefallen.

Zubereiteten Kaffee (Capuccino, Espresso) war nicht im Frühstück inbegriffen. Früchte Platte könnte ausgiebiger sein

A stunning hotel with a beautiful view. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Great if you are in a couple and looking for a few days of rest, outside the business of Fira and Oia. Wanted to relax for a few days and got exactly that. Special shoutout to Stella. We haven’t felt that warmth from a hotel staff in a really long time. She was amazing and really shaped our experience there. We had some problems and she really took them serious to help improve our stay. The breakfast view was also another highlight of the hotel.

Despite Stella being an exceptional staff member of the hotel, it is unfortunately overshadowed by some of the other staff present on site. There were several occasions where we felt uncomfortable. For example, during breakfast we were denied service and the staff that denied us proceeded to blame us instead of helping us with what we needed as customers. From this point onwards, it was quite an uncomfortable atmosphere around them for the entirety of the stay. We were also experiencing some problems with the room and felt that we weren’t taken seriously from the beginning. Only after an extra sign of dissatisfaction, we were actually catered to (which we really appreciate as we got an upgrade!). Lastly, the food could be better.

Nos encantó toda nuestra estancia allí. Está en un lugar de calma, que se agradece tras volver del mogollón de hoteles pegados y sin intimidad del centro de Oía. Esta muy cerquita en coche y tener sitio para aparcar en el propio hotel se agradece también. Todo el personal fue maravilloso, súper atento y resolutivo con algún problema que tuvimos con la aerolínea. La habitación comodisima y súper limpia, con todo lo necesario. El desayuno a elegir de carta + el buffet que tienen de 10. Sin duda si algún día volvemos a Santorini, repetiremos y lo recomendamos a nuestros allegados aquí en España.

The room was wonderful- it had a sea view, there was a bottle of wine to welcome, a hot tub, beautiful amenities, bathrobes, etc- in other words a very high end stay which I thoroughly enjoyed. I used the hot-tub once and it was lovely- it was on the balcony and you could watch the stars and gaze over the sea and it was very, very private. I can imagine that it would be ideal for honeymooners. The fact that was breakfast was included and the price was reasonable made it a very enjoyable stay. I would stay here again, just in a different room,

Room 15 had electricity poles and wire transmitters running right overhead. In a lot of countries you would not be able to build that close to them. I lay on the bed, savoring the beautiful room and after 30 min I felt I was quivering from inside my body. As an environmental specialist for over 25yrs I am always aware of electro-magnetic waves and in fact sometimes measure them with my instruments which I didn't have. I moved to the sofa and immediately the quivering (a kind of jumping in my skin) stopped. I have had that reaction before to high EMF. I asked to change the room but none was available so spent the nights (2) on the Sofa and that was fine but not preferable. The breakfast was good but not excellent, the service was very good, the location nice except while it says it is in OIA, it is really quite aways from the main areas in OIA overlooking the caldera--what you are looking at is the Aegean Sea-- I had no problems with that but you will need a car to get to the main places (8 min away drive) and thankfully I had rented a car. I would stay there again but a) with a car and b) a different room

Petit déjeuner à volonté, c’était parfait. L’emplacement était aussi très bien avec une belle vue. La piscine privé était très belle et propre mais l’eau était froide. La chambre était top et propre.

Our stay at Danae Suites was truly unforgettable. We absolutely loved our Superior Suite — spacious, full of natural light, and beautifully designed with Cycladic charm and modern comfort. The natural materials, soft curves, and serene color palette created a calm, romantic atmosphere. The private hot tub and thoughtful amenities made it feel luxurious yet relaxed, and waking up to those dreamy views of the Aegean was pure magic. The location was perfect — just a short walk from Oia, yet tucked away in the peaceful village of Finikia. It offered the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already dreaming of returning. The staff were exceptional — warm, kind, and always eager to help with anything we needed, from local recommendations to private transfers and car rentals. A big thank-you to Christian, Theodora, and Vasiliki for making our stay so special!

Excelente opção. Local muito tranquilo e com vista. Equipe muito simpática e atenciosa. Com estacionamento fácil. Muito mais agradável do que ficar no caos de Fira ou Oia.

The hotel is very clean, the ambiance of the place is peaceful and tranquil. It’s a perfect getaway for those who want to be away from the crowd in Oia. I had a fabulous 5 night stay at this hotel, and I have to say from the staff, to the hotel room I stayed in, everything was great! Would definitely stay here again. Finikia town is only 5 mins walk from hotel with lovely restaurants and only 20 mins drive to Fira and Oia.

Rustig gelegen in Finikia, net buiten het drukke Oia. Een fijne balans tussen rust en levendigheid. De suite was ruim en netjes ingericht, met een privé terras op de ochtendzon met uitzicht op de land en hot tub met middag en avondzon en uitzicht op zee, maakten ons verblijf extra fijn. Het personeel was warm en attent, altijd beschikbaar zonder opdringerig te zijn. Elke ochtend begon met een vers ontbijtbuffet en a la carte, geserveerd met zorg. Het zwembad was een rustige plek om te ontspannen, met comfortabele ligbedden en uitzicht op de zee.

Niets viel tegen. Alleen maar rust en aandacht.

The staff are very cooperative and always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are spacious and they gave complementary wine when we checked in the room. We checked in late after midnight and checked out early 4.30 in the morning. They helped it all the way with smooth check in and check out. The complementary breakfast menu was huge and chef is one of the greatest. The location is a bit uphill and 30 mins walking distance to great caldera view at Oia. There is Finikini bus stop nearby, but better to walk rather than waiting for bus. Overall nice stay with great sea view, comfy rooms, nice menu and always smiling staff.

This place is beautiful, it's a little further out from the centre Oia (but still quick to get to) which we enjoyed, we were on the first part of our honeymoon after spending a glorious time with friends and family so this place was perfect to unwind. Definitely the best accommodation and value for money of our entire month long trip. The staff were amazing; so lovely and helpful, the pool was gorgeous, and location is beautiful and relaxing. Everything about the general space and the actual rooms felt calm and fresh. I wish we stayed longer!

Die Cave Suite ist hübsch eingerichtet mit einem sehr bequemen Bett und einem tollen “Höhlenbadezimmer”. Die Lage ist gut, weit weg vom Trubel in Oia und Fira. Das Dorf, das man in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreicht, ist sehr charmant und ursprünglich mit einigen guten Restaurants. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die nicht auf Caldera-Blick bestehen.
