Shore Amora Canggu

Such a lovely place to stay, situated near the beach in Pererenan and very walkable to the main shopping strip of Pererenan and also to Canggu. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony is a great spot to sit. The pool area is fantastic, the breakfast is amazing, and all the staff are so lovely and go out of their way to ensure guests have a great stay. They provided drinks and snacks upon arrival, and also a leaving gift which was a lovely surprise. They also arranged transport to our next destination at a very reasonable price, and gave us a free iced latte each for the journey. A special shout out to Ode and Ayu, these girls are so lovely and were so attentive during our stay. Highly recommend staying at Shore Amora!

Für uns eine gute Lage. Die Zimmer bzw. der Bungalow ist sehr schön, groß und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wie haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Der Pool ist toll und das Frühstück war phantastisch. Der Koch geht auf Wünsche ein. Ich kann es empfehlen 🤗

This is my second time at this hotel and despite it not being the best with facilities, the staff are exceptional in making your stay joyful and solve any issues for you.

Next stay i would pick a normal room rather than a villa.

In our villa there was glass and at the top of the doors up high and they needed to have blackout blinds to stop early morning light.

No privacy in the bathroom just clear glass between room and toilet which may be difficult for some. I was eaten alive by mosquitos at night inside the room. Didn't experience this anywhere else in Bali, normally just get bites if walking outside in the evenings Private pool nice to look at but a bit too cold to enjoy.

Perfect location if you want to stay close to the beach while still being a short scooter ride from everything around Canggu. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Ode at reception, who made the stay even better.

Nothing major. The property is a little quieter than some places in central Canggu, so having a scooter definitely makes getting around easier.

I absolutely loved my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the whole design of the hotel was really cool. The building was beautiful, very aesthetic and the pool is stunning. It had such a lovely feel to it. Very relaxing. Also in an amazing location much quieter are a great shop and places to eat bear by. No need to travel into the busy areas if you don’t want to but close enough to walk to if you like

The service we received was excellent. The warmth and attentiveness of both the reception and restaurant staff more than made up for the other inconveniences we experienced during our stay. The little birthday surprise was completely unexpected, and I was genuinely touched by the thought and effort put in by the restaurant staff. It made the celebration even more special. Kudos to everyone we interacted with, especially Sanig, for the wonderful hospitality. Thank you all for making my birthday stay such a memorable one!

The facilities and rooms probably needed a bit more maintenance, especially the aircon which was really noisy and not very cold. But I think they did their best and luckily, the weather was quite breezy and cool, and there was a constant stream of cool breeze coming in. The staff even came in at night to put mosquito coils for us when we are out. So that was a nice touch to it.

I like everything and anything to do with this villa resort the only issue I had I wish the pool was more accessible within the villa. I’m just got a disability. It’s just hard for me to get in and out of the pool, but I managed doesn’t mean it’s a negative towards the hotel. I still loved it and I would go back.

The villa is incredible and the restaurant and pool is fabulous. All staff were fantastic and so helpful and friendly. The hotel is exception with grounds maintenance and mosquito prevention daily!

Ich kann das Hotel aktuell nicht empfehlen, aktuell ist dort den ganzen Tag Baulärm 7:00 - 17:00 jeden Tag sogar am Wochenende (3 Baustellen, im Hotel, 2 direkt auf den Nachbargrundstücken auf jeder angrenzenden Seite, das wird noch länger gehen, der Bau waren erst am Anfang), beim Schlafen, beim Frühstück, am Pool. Unsere 6 Tage waren schrecklich, kaum erholsam, der Horror, die Buchungen wurden nicht storniert, haben das Zimmer erst nach mehrmaligen Bitten wechseln können, da war es auch nicht besser. Das Hotelgelände ist ja klein. Hätten wir das gewusst, hätten wir nie gebucht. Es gab aber nirgendwo einen Hinweis.

Die Nomad Villas waren super großzügig und bieten alles um dort zu entspannen.

We stayed for 4 nights, and it was the worst experience I’ve had in Bali and I’ve been 15 times over the years, staying in hundreds of places. • Arrival & pool access: On Saturday at 2pm our room was still not ready. We were told to wait by the pool, but there were no seats available because of outside guests. A DJ played all day, which was fine, but the music outside continued until 3am, leaving us with no sleep. This lack of pool access for paying guests was a constant issue. • Adults‑only policy ignored: Despite being advertised as adults‑only, there were children at the pool, including a family with a pram on two days. • Noise problems: On other nights, loud music seemed to come from directly above our room, with furniture being moved around late at night on the roof until early hours of the morning. • Illness & environment: I became sick on the first day, likely from the welcome drink. Being stuck in a mosquito‑filled room with blaring music outside was miserable, and I couldn’t use the pool even if I wanted to. • Room issues: No curtains were installed until I requested them on the second night, bright lights shone into the room, and toilet paper was never replenished during service. • Poor communication: We were not informed about breakfast or the spa, so we missed breakfast two days in a row. My booking included 20% off food and drinks and a free massage, but neither was explained or provided. When I did order breakfast we didn’t get any fruit or breads which is the only part I wanted and they assured me they would come and never did. • Staff difficulties: Aside from one helpful receptionist, staff struggled with English, making it very hard to resolve issues such as the lack of hot water (reported on day one). We were told to use WhatsApp instead. • Laundry service: Our laundry was chaotic two days in a row, with no clear communication about when it would be returned.

I had a great stay, i enjoyed it that much that I extended for another 4days. Amazing staff couldn’t do enough for me, the hotel provided an excellent inclusive breakfast. The location is very convenient in walking distance to all the restaurants and the beach. House cleaning is very efficient and hard working. My room was always well cleaned and presented.

I could say one thing I didn’t like.

Banyonun balkonda oluşu bizim hosumuza gitmedi, biz bununla ilgili bir yorum görseydik kesinlikle burayı tercih etmezdik. Böcek riskini geçtim dus alırken donuyosunuz. Balide çoğu ev/otelde banyo açık alanda ve bence bu durum kesinlikle yorumlarda bahsedilmeli. Kahvaltı fena değil menüden siparis veriyosunuz, açık büfe değil. Lavabo odanın içerisinde. Tuvaletin kapısı cam. Bu bilgi de bazılarımız için önemli olabilir😂 yani ortalama bir otel kaldığımıza pisman olmadık ama bu fiyata daha iyi yerler tercih edebilirdik dedik. Çalısanlar çok tatlı ve ilgililerdi. Havuz temiz, büyük ve güzeldi. Böyle

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the sea. The quiet little street it’s on is one of the most pleasant spots in Canggu. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are incredibly friendly.

I’ve stayed here over 10 times in three years, and this is my first bad review. The hotel facilities are badly aged. On my last few stays, I switched multiple rooms with zero hot shower water — this is totally unacceptable. Staff told me only Room 206 and 306 had hot water, but they were occupied. I had to shower at the spa, which smelled terrible of mould. The spa shower drain was clogged, so I stood in dirty standing water to wash. My room’s shower drain was also blocked. My current room has four major problems: no hot water, a bathroom door that takes huge effort to close, clogged shower drain, and loose wall switches that pose an electric shock hazard. I’ve reported these faults to staff many times; they said they’d inform management, but nothing has been fixed for a whole year, especially the hot water issue. It’s sad to see this once-great hotel fall into disrepair. I hope management values guests’ feedback and fixes all these problems properly. I would love to return once everything is improved.

Der Empfang und das Personal sind sehr herzlich und aufmerksam, jeder Mitarbeiter gibt sich große Mühe und man hat den Eindruck das jeder gerne hier arbeitet. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet nur wenige Meter zum Strand. Die Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück, welches reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich angeboten wird.

Leider war unsere Villa in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Die Bilder entsprachen aus unserer Sicht nicht der Realität. Das Badezimmer war stark verkalkt, der Duschkopf war defekt und die Ausstattung insgesamt veraltet. Auch die Handtücher waren teilweise fleckig und abgenutzt. Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es zudem Baulärm. Nach unserem Eindruck wurden einige Villen gerade instandgesetzt, was grundsätzlich positiv ist, da eine Renovierung dringend notwendig erscheint. Etwas störend empfanden wir außerdem die Situation am Pool. Die Liegen müssen reserviert werden, da der Poolbereich auch von externen Gästen gegen Gebühr genutzt werden kann. Dabei hatten wir leider den Eindruck, dass externe Gäste bei der Auswahl bzw. Vergabe der Liegen teilweise bevorzugt wurden.

Location, location, location

Nothing wrong with the property but the room was a little impractical. No hooks for hanging towels/hats etc, few places to put your clothes, no full length or even 3/4 length mirror, the bathroom mirrors were too high (for my wife), the safe was too low in the bottom of a cupboard, and we had a constant leaking basin which they tried to fix 4 times

Very tired and run down, pictures online didn't match the current state of the buildings and decor. No afternoon sun by the main pool or our villa pool (gone by about 11am) No privacy in our villa pool (on show to the whole hotel and main pool) also construction going on at the next premises which meant the workers could see directly into our bathroom and toilet from 7am till 5pm everyday. We did not feel comfortable using the villa during the day plus the noise of the construction was also not very relaxing. Drinks and food menu were limited. Was generally underwhelmed by the whole experience

A pesar de que le tenemos cariño a este alojamiento, esta vez ha sido decepcionante. La peor habitación en la que nos hemos alojado en este hotel (ha sido nuestra tercera vez) El hotel ha quedado anticuado, y muy descuidado, las habitaciones necesitan una reforma. Nuestra habitación no tenía cortinas y tuvieron que instalarlas, la luz no funcionaba bien, los lavabos se atascaban, había un grifo estropeada. No tenía buen olor, había algo de ruido… Por último, me dieron una llave que parecía secundaria sin llavero, que, desafortunadamente, la perdí. Hecho que supuso un cargo adicional que estuve de acuerdo en pagar.

I was electrocuted on arrival in our room as the bedside pendant light was live. This could have been deadly.The instructions for the safe were incorrect. The lock to the outdoor shower area could not lock as it was missing the striker plate. The toilet water was continually running. The shower head sprayed in all directions, could do with a clean or replacing.

Our stay at Shore Amora was amazing. The staff were all so kind and helpful, the facilities and room were beautiful and the restaurant food was delicious. Not one bad thing to say about it.

I loved everything about this place, the room was amazing, the location was perfect and the staff went above and beyond for my husband and I, Risma is one of the staff there and she was honestly the most beautiful person and did everything to make our stay amazing!

The only thing was we didn’t have a lock on our bathroom door but it was closed in so no one could access it from outside anyways so wasn’t a problem

My husband and I started our 2.5wk Bali trip here in Canggu. We stayed at Shore Amora in one of their villas for the first 5 days and couldn’t have been happier. We were a 2min walk from the beach and less than 5mins to Rite Gym, which was another great facility with really kind staff. If you’re looking for a quiet home base - with your own private pool - that is centrally located and at an awesome price point than I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Excellent villa stay at Shore Amora in Canggu. The grounds are beautiful with rice paddies planted in full view from our private pool. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Above all the hotel is peaceful and quiet with an extremely friendly and attentive staff, a wonderful acoustic guitar singer on Tuesday during dinner, and excellent service (bananas and hot lattes every morning to fuel our gym excursions). Breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant were great, and we also enjoyed the on site spa for a couples massage. A block from the Pererenan beach where we conveniently caught both a sunset and sunrise view over our five day stay. Highly recommend.

Das Hotel haben wir für die letzten zwei Nächte der REise gebucht. Wir hatten eine Pool Villa. Die war wunderschön und der Stil echt außergewöhnlich. Der Blick auf das kleine Reisfeld morgens ein Traum! Auch die Größe des Zimmers war außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der öffentliche Pool auch sehr schön und dadurch,dass die Liegen vom Staff vergeben werden, wird auch nix stundenlang besetzt. Das Hotel liegt 10 Rollerminuten vom Canggu Wahnsinn entfernt - man hat also beides, Trubel und Ruhe. Ebenso ist der Strand 2 Min zu Fuss entfernt und etliche REstaurants, Cafes und Shops. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal, welches unglaublich hilfsbereit ist und einen verwöhnt. Man hat uns geholfen, die Postkarten aufzugeben, wir konnten den Spa vor der Abreise für eine Dusche nutzen (weil wir einen Nachtflug hatten), Roller wurden organisiert und und und. Auch via Whatsapp war immer wer für uns da. Wir waren von Bali und Sulawesi schon ein hohes Level an Umsorgung gewöhnt, aber das hat noch mal alles übertroffen. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

The convenience of arranging airport transportation and other accommodations made our trip completely stress-free. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly as promised. I highly recommend booking one of the bungalows with a private infinity plunge pool—it was the highlight of our stay and well worth it. The design is amazing, the vibe is very good, and the environment is very good.

The light in my toilet hasn't been installed; you can literally see the wires in there. There is also massive construction currently ongoing on the property. If you lock yourself in your room, you can't hear it, but honestly, it does ruin the experience a little bit. There is another construction site right next to the property which the hotel cannot control, so make sure you bring your own earplugs if you are very sensitive (I was okay with it, though). Overall, the construction quality of the building is not too good. They really need someone with a strong attention to detail to do a proper inspection and go through every single thing. The pool could also use a bit more cleaning. Apart from that, I think it's okay.

The location of the hotel is amazing . Right next to the beach. Hotel rooms are very spacious. Beds very comfortable and has great amenities. Pool and restaurant area is really good. Food was lovely. Staff are very warm and friendly. Thank you Dewi who looked after us very well. Would definitely recommend booking here.

I stayed in Villa 10 and it was quiet, large and well equiped. The bed was firm and the outside shower and toilet were lovely. The pool area was as relaxing as you could imagine. But above all, the staff were friendly and warm. They made my stay perfect.

Amazing amazing stay here in shore amora, the interior was romantic & amazing. Staff were really accommodating, they wavered my motor bike rental for the day & kak ariana gave me free souvenir & offered free coffee/ juice / water while i was waiting for my ride to seminyak. At dusk there was an acoustic guitarist playing, it was so serenading 🥹 + i got a free 30 minute foot massage too 🙈 ps they have a dog named sausage roaming around so adorable ! If you are planning to stay, come and say hello to the cutest fattie dog. What a memorable stay 🩷

Check in went well, very friendly and helpful staff. Villa is lovely with some parts under renovation (outdoor swing is being taken down and was advised new lounge hasn’t arrived yet). Otherwise so far a nice experience :)

Делали множество комплементов, даже фрукты купленные нами несколько раз нарезали на стол. Океан действительно очень близко, песок черный, волна высокая, но немного искупаться возможно. В отеле можно постирать вещи, заказать еду в номер, мы заказывали «плавающий завтрак» в собственный бассейн. Ресторан при отеле тоже очень приятный, готовят вкусно и быстро, персонал всегда рядом, даже готовы картинки блюд показать. Обязательно посетите вечером пляж, множество людей приходят сюда чтобы встретить красивый закат! На пляже ходит с браслетиками девушка Dawu, очень отзывчивая и дает множество скидок. Рекомендуем!

What an amazing 4 days I had here with the best hospitality, amazing restaurant food and great pool. Staff went above and beyond and always so kind. This is better spot if staying in canguu much more nice and peaceful but still close to beach

Highly recommend. Key highlights include the large rooms, ideal location, and excellent sleep quality. The staff was also highly professional and attentive to every detail.

There was some construction on-site during my stay, but it didn't bother me much since it's clearly being done to upgrade the property for the future. they changed room to be far from it.

I had the perfect getaway at Shore Amora Canggu! Location is quieter with amenities, restaurants, shops and spas within walking distance. I especially loved that the beach was only a 5-min walk away. The villa was comfortable and luxurious for a solo traveller, and house-keeping was meticulous in turning over the room even though I had a few late mornings. But the best part of my stay was how well the staff (Prima, Dewi, Ariana, Dinda) looked out for and took care of me. The team was quick to respond whenever I needed help, and even went out of their way to pick me up after midnight on 2 nights after a music festival. They went above and beyond and made my experience truly special. 10/10 would highly recommend!

The service was outstanding. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially ARYA, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. Fabulous hotel close to beach and restaurants, but very serene and relaxing. Our nomad suite was incredible, equipped with a very comfortable bed, beautiful huge bathroom and our own pool. We had an amazing stay for one night in private pool room. The staff were incredibly friendly, we met Dewi on check out date, she were attentive and sadly have to leave the hotel and Canggu and back to Jakarta. Wish we stay longer......

Location

The room was dark, and images were misleading to the actual space. The cat was going poo in the pot plant right outside my room. The pool chair wasn’t even usable and there were large ants all around the pool so couldn’t even use it. My room wasn’t ready when they said it would be. The room lacked privacy and was much darker than the photos. I got given a 20% discount voucher for the restaurant and then when I went to settle my bill they didn’t let me use it which made no sense.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic and offers the perfect balance between peaceful surroundings and easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. What impressed us the most was the outstanding hospitality of the entire team. During our stay, both of us unfortunately became seriously ill with Bali Belly. It is important to mention that we did not become sick at the hotel. We had been out all day before returning, and the hotel was not the cause of our illness. Despite this, the staff immediately arranged for a doctor to come directly to the hotel and took wonderful care of us throughout the entire situation. We would especially like to thank Mr. Ariana, who went above and beyond to help us. He was incredibly kind, caring, professional, and always made sure we were okay. His genuine compassion and support made a very difficult situation so much easier. The entire team made us feel safe, welcome, and truly cared for. Their service was exceptional, and we are very grateful for everything they did for us. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Mr. Ariana and the whole team for making our stay so memorable.

This was our first visit to Bali, and Shore Amora exceeded all expectations. The standout for us was the incredible team at the Boheme restaurant and bar. Everyone was so warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming—they really made our stay feel special. A special mention to Putri and Risma, who were wonderfully caring throughout; we were genuinely sad to say goodbye. We also loved the two resident cats, Tony and Garfield, who added a fun and relaxing touch while we spent time by the pool. While the surrounding area is still developing and wasn’t exactly suited to us, the hotel itself felt like a peaceful oasis—calm, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing. Our villa was thoughtfully designed, offering a romantic escape surrounded by rice terraces with our own private pool. The open-air bathroom, set among live bamboo, was a unique and memorable feature. Breakfast was a real highlight—easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. The menu offered a wide variety of options to suit all tastes and dietary needs. We also really enjoyed late afternoons by the pool, with great cocktails, beers, and a delicious selection of freshly prepared snacks. We would absolutely recommend Shore Amora to friends and family, and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Nada todo fue increible

I had a wonderful stay at Shore Amora. The location is hard to beat. It’s close to everything you need, yet far enough away from the chaos to feel peaceful. Great cafés, restaurants, gyms and the beach are all within walking distance. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The food was consistently good, breakfast was a standout, and the pool area is beautiful. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, it’s worth dropping in for breakfast, lunch or a few hours by the pool. I stayed in one of the pool villas which wasn’t quite my personal style, but that’s simply a preference thing and I’m sure it would suit many travellers. Overall, Shore Amora has a relaxed, easy feel to it and delivers great service in a beautiful part of Pererenan. I’d happily recommend it and would definitely visit again.

Очень крутой отель! Находится в отдалении от шумных тусовок, при этом совсем рядом с океаном. В номере было комфортно, чисто. Понравился интерьер. Очень отзывчивый и милый персонал. Откликались на любую просьбу. Спасибо! Когда будем на Бали снова, обязательно остановимся у вас)))
