Beach Grove Villas

Superbe hôtel situé dans la nature au calme. Nous avons vu des singes de loin et plein de jolis oiseaux ! Il est à dix minutes à pieds de la plage. Notre chambre type deluxe était immense, haute de plafond et climatisée. Des équipements comme le frigo le sèche cheveux la bouilloire un coffre sont sont fournis. Elle possède aussi une grande terrasse avec une table et des chaises. La salle de bains est spacieuse avec une belle douche à l’italienne. Une piscine était juste devant notre chambre très agréable pour se détendre en fin de journée ! Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. bref allez y les yeux fermés !

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. the villas are on a hillside set around two beautiful pools and the jungle and its wildlife envelopes you. Rooms are comfortable and large. Owner and staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is simple but fresh and tasty. It is a short (10 min walk) to the beach and a selection of Restaurants. The walk is easy, but take a torch after dark. Beach access is easy. When you get to the main coast road, there is a free access passages 50 metres to the right. or go straight ahead across the road to the owners brother's hotel, which has a great restaurant overlooking the beach

Lovely relaxed property, perfect for a few days of relaxation. Close to the Beach & also close to yoga, fitness studios. The owner, staff and not forgetting his lovely dogs were all so friendly, room was comfortably and clean, it has a real homely vibe. Would defiantly recommend staying here ☺️

Wir hatten das Appartement mit 2 Zimmern im oberen Bereich der Anlage – traumhafte Aussicht von der riesigen Terrasse! Alles war sauber (bis auf die Küche, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben) und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Anlage hat 2 saubere, gemütliche Pools, eines davon war meistens leer, sodass man es für sich hatte. Wir haben unsere letzten Tage hier sehr genossen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten, und Tuk-Tuks fahren überall.

Die Küche war leider nicht sauber, mit dreckigem Geschirr, Brettern und Gläsern – besser wäre es gewesen, sie gar nicht zu nutzen, zumal das Zimmer ohnehin über eigene Gläser, Tassen und einen Wasserkocher verfügt. Die Massage können wir nicht empfehlen. Außerdem lassen sich die Zimmer nicht abdunkeln, da die riesige Fensterfront keine Nachtvorhänge hat.

Our stay here was very short, arriving in the afternoon and leaving early in the morning. But it gave us everything we needed. The owner was extremely helpful in every way.

A little from town, but we had transport so it wasn't a problem. 5 mins or so in a tuk tuk and you are there.

Klimatyczne domki zdala od tłumów i hałasu miasta. Do centrum można dojechać tuk tukiem lub z drogi głównej autobusem publicznym. Byliśmy w październiku przed sezonem, gdy było mało gości, ale hotel był już przygotowany do sezonu, a stosunek jakości do ceny w tym okresie był rewelacyjny. Właściciel uprzejmy i pomocny. Pyszne świeżo wyciskane soki. Pokój był ogromny i czysty. Można było w nim zauważyć na podłodze mrówki lub pająka lecz nie powinno to dziwić - w koʼncu kesteś w dżungli.

It’s located in a very nice area, very beautiful. The property is very nice, green and very well kept. The hotel staff was amazing!

It was all great!

Big space with great views and nature (including peacocks!) Great to have a pool that we were only sharing with a small number of people. Helpful and welcoming staff and host. Good restaurant nearby which is in beautiful beach setting.

Even better if the curtains were more blackout as the room was very bright in the morning due to all the glass. One of our rooms also did have a lot of ants (may be hard to avoid given hot climate), as did the kitchenette area.

The host was so nice! He even helped us book safari after we no longer was staying in his villa. The place was also super nice, with big rooms and 2 pools.

Sehr nettes Personal, 600m bis zum Strand, sehr schöne Anlage mit Affen und Pfauen.Gefühlt haben wir den Pool alleine genutzt.

Tout était parfait ! Le petit jus de fruit dès l'accueil, tout le personnel souriant et aux petits soins, le gérant adorable et toujours disponible avec de bons conseils. Les villas sont nichées dans un parc verdoyant avec deux piscines magnifiques où il fait bon se prélasser. Chambre spacieuse confortable avec une très bonne litterie et belle salle de bain. Ménage fait tous les jours. Les seuls bruits sont ceux de la nature et des oiseaux. Nous avons fait un massage, foncez si on vous le propose ! Idéalement situé à 10 minutes à pied de la plage (où on peut voir des tortues au bord) et du frog rock, accès au Sri Gemunu leur établissement de plage où la nourriture est top si vous souhaitez manger au bord de l'eau. A 10 minutes en tuk-tuk de Galle Fort à absolument visiter. En conclusion une adresse à ne pas manquer dans le sud.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Fijn zwembad. Rustige en groene omgeving. Ca 10 minuten lopen naar het strand. Wij hebben hier 4 nachten verbleven.

Er is geen bar bij het hotel waar je s avonds nog een drankje kan doen. Maar bij het strand zijn er natuurlijk genoeg mogelijkheden daarvoor.

Fantastisch verblijf! We hebben 2 nachten bijgeboekt. Heerlijk zwembad, lekkere douche, heel aardig personeel en goed ontbijt! Kamer wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt. Lekkere ruime kamers, we kregen zelfs een upgrade!

Staff is so kind, they welcome you with a papaya drink and a chat. And whenever you ask something they are really keen to help

Bewertungen entsprechen überhaupt nicht der Wirklichkeit. Sehr in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft. Frühstück sehr überschaubar. Poolliegen überhaupt nicht nutzbar, Tiere in den Liegen, dreckig, alt. Kakerlaken in der Dusche. Ständige Lärmbelästigung, 10 Stunden am Tag über Lautsprecher Musik. Bei Ankunft ca 5 Stunden Stromausfall.

Le propriétaire est très sympathique et veut que vous passiez un bon séjour. La chambre était grande et propre. La cadre avec la piscine.

Perfect hotel. Zeer nette grote kamer/badkamer met terras voor de deur. Een groot mooi zwembad, zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en behulpzaam personeel. Dicht bij Galle en midden in de natuur. Ook het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en zeker een aanrader!!

We loved the size of the room, the pool was excellent and the host was friendly and welcoming. We had delicious Sri Lankan curry on our first evening too. Great aircon, fan and wifi.

The location is a 10 min walk that o the main road- not a problem just to note. Also we couldn’t get the tv working but again we don’t really use it anyway.

Location. Set back in nature. Lots of monkeys peacocks and birds. Two clean pools. Beautiful well kept gardens. Very peaceful. Large rooms which are well equipped.

The pool was a good size, though it was not always clean. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit juice and fresh fruit. the cook was attentive and offered eggs cooked whichever way we preferred. We found a really reliable tuk tuk driver who took us into Galle on a few occasions and picked us up afterwards at very reasonable rates. Tuktuk drivers in Sri Lanks are always good in agreeing a price for the journey beforehand, and its such a cheap way to travel. The manager was helpful when he was available.

We were misled by our booking, we had booked a room on the ground floor but when we arrived the manager was concerned that he only had a first floor room available and there were lots of steps and stairs to the room which he thought could be a problem for us. He showed us a cabin on a site approx 400mts away which was gloomy and isolated, so we accepted the first floor room. The photos on the website are not accurate, they showed the rooms with seating area and listed some kitchen facilities, however our room was very basic. We were bitten by mosquitos probably not helped by the fact the mosquito net around the bed had holes in it. Also the glass on the table on the balcony had dangerous cracks in it This hotel is quite isolated and a long walk to the nearest beach, better to be nearer to Unawatuna or be prepared to travel by tuk tuk every day. We paid in SL Rupes everywhere we stayed but this manager insisted on the bill being paid in USD. which incurred 3% credit card charge.

Family five, stayed four nights, two rooms. Very pleasant. Super Sri Lanka breakfast. Great pool. Easy walk to Dalawella beach to swim with and feed turtles. Good connections to Unawatuna and Galle. Really pleased we chose Beach Grove.

It's a very peaceful and quiet place. Beautiful garden, two pools and very clean rooms, hot water in the bathroom. Very comfortable beds. People working at this place are very nice, helpful and friendly. You can rent a scooter, there is as well a tuk tuk available if you want to go for example to Unawatuna Town. The owner is as well very kind and he's always ready to help you with anything or to answer your questions. We really enjoyed our stay there!

We had a wonderful time at Beach Grove. The place was beautiful! Room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was good. The owner and staff were really great and very welcoming. The villas are around 15 mins walk to the nearest beach set in a beautiful location amongst the wildlife. There are 2 pools which are great to relax after a day out in the sunshine. I would love to visit again if I ever get the opportunity. Keep up the good work!

Lots of green trees and plants. Great swimming pool. Nice service. Very clean.

Very nice accomodation close to the airport. We landed at 2.30 am and were nicely welcomed by the staff. We had an extra family arriving at 10.30am and the staff prepared extra breakfast. Thank you!! The kids loved the swimming pool and we were happy with the late checkout at reasonable price.

Asoka the host is brilliant. He is very kind and genuinely cares about the people staying at the property. There are 2 pool areas which is nice to change things up. Rooms and general area is kept clean and tidy. Little basic, but no complaints. The staff are very helpful and the location is great - 3 mins from turtle beach and 5-6 mins from unawatuna beach (in tuktuks).

We had a poorly working AC on the first day (mainly because of the apartment we had being mainly glass exterior. However, Asoka was very quick to find us an alternative which really highlighted his customer service which we appreciated

It was really beautifull out here. I had a great rest here. Laying at the pool where the monkeys jumped at the trees. It s a 10 min walk to the main road, but also enough tuk tuk around to go further away. The beach with turtles is close by. The staff was really friendly and the room was clean and really comfy. Ac worked good and shower and bed where great. Booked 2 extra nights here.

Spacious (huge!), clean, & comfortable. Mosquito nets in good condition. Great infinity pool and lovely jungle location! Staff were great and the owner really lovely and passionate. Would also recommend finding Karuna’s cooking class - it was one of the best things we did in Sri Lanka!

All the kitchen equipment from the last people staying had been hidden round a corner in the apartment and there wasn't the advertised items ready - no cooker, toaster, not enough cutlery, no washing up soap etc which was frustrating but the owner sorted straight away when we asked.

Such a peaceful setting in a jungle. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Quick 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and a quick drive to Unawatuna beach and town. We really enjoyed it here!

Everything about the villa was fantastic but what stunned my friend and I was how spacious the deluxe room we stayed in was!

Spacious villa for our family of 4, right at the pool that is not used much, so almost private. 10 mins walk to the beach, but we didnt like the beach here. Very small, crowded, rough sea. Better go 10 mins extra by tuktuk to Kogalla. Galle is close by which is a nice city. Breakfast is ok. Some small shops on walking distance and you can buy a beer at the hotel.

AC was not working very well, doors were difficult to open/close, not the cleanest place. If i would book again, i would look for a better beach or closer to Galle.

Wonderful kind staff, Incredibly peaceful and a fabulous pool in a beautiful setting. I will be back.

The nature was great, The manager Asoka and his team was really friendly.

Just the roads around was a bit bumpy and the steps were a little too high. However for 99% of travellers this wouldn't be a problem.

Everything. Peace. Relaxation. Comfort. Everything is so green and alive. Beautiful apparments. You can walk to Beach, just few minutes by foot through the jungle. Lots of animals you can see inside the Villas ground. Squirels. Birds. Large spiders. Even large lizards, similar to komodo dragon.

Very friendly and caring staff. And of course the owner of the villa who personally resolved all issues and found the best deals for car rental, etc.

Amazing rooms. Spacious. In the middle of the jungle. Peace. Calm. Kindness everywhere. Few minutes tuk tuk ride from the beach and crowded places. We loved it so much that we prolonged our stay from three to ten days.

Place is located in the middle of the jungle. People are very kind. Lots of birds in the morning. Lots of animals (squirrel, huge lizard, huge spider) we would see during the day. The room is spacious and really beautiful. Fan over the bed with different speeds for beautiful sleep. Everything was perfect, so we prolonged our stay for four more days.

We would like to have towels changed a bit more often.

The property had large rooms with decent beds, mosquito nets and large en-suites. The pool was good and staff at breakfast very friendly and helpful.

I would say the property is expensive for what it is. Everything is fair however would say it ought to be better for the amount we paid.

Lovely place to stay. A bit further away from the city (walking distance) therefore in a secluded, surrounded by a jungle. Cozy but spacious room with a HUGE bathroom. Very friendly staff!

Lots of things listed on the facilities did not exist, like a spa or bathrobes. The shower was also cold. Lots of things could have been updated and seemed a bit old. Very expensive for what it is worth

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Flexible and understanding with our arrangements too :) very comfortable stay, beautiful spot! They made a beautiful effort to make sure I had a nice birthday too. Nice breakfast and smiles all round!

The staff at this hotel were 1st class. So friendly and welcoming to us. We were lucky enough to be the only ones staying at the hotel at the end of July. Admittedly not their peak season but they were still more than happy to cook us generous breakfasts and dinner if we wanted. The rooms are spacious with a big bathroom. The pool is nice enough and has an outdoor shower.

The location is a little out of the way for but still within close proximity to the beach.

Lovely place to stay in the jungle and an easy and interesting 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach of Dalawella. Asoka and his staff go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need to have a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Stayed three weeks and would happily have stayed another three! If you're looking for nightlife this isn't the place for you, but for comfort, peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. Can only highly recommend.

Host was a little distant, land is big and you can hardly find a staff when you need something. Bathroom door and room door was a hassle. I've stayed in the economic room and it is quite basic, for the price of economy room here, there are plenty of better choices outiside at the Unawatuna area, so I'll probably choose another one next time.

We loved our stay at Beach Grove Villas, would have loved to stay longer. Very beautiful location within the forest, much more peaceful and quiet than some of the other places we stayed at during our trip as it is away from the main road. Walking distance to a beautiful beach and also a nearby yoga studio. The staff were incredible, offered excellent service. It was nice to have a restaurant available and we ended up eating all our meals there because the food was delicious. Very happy with our stay and definitely recommend this location to others.

Even though we only stayed one night, it was great to have chosen this hotel. The location is not next to the beach but it was very pleasant and quiet. The staff is great and the food was also excellent, I will always recommend this hotel to any traveler in the area

Really enjoyed our stay here. Really friendly helpful staff. They went out of their way to make our stay special. Very good breakfast and we only had one evening meal at the hotel, which was wonderful. Only a short tuktuk ride from main beach areas which the hotel is happy to organise. £2.50 for three of us to get to the fort in Galle. We were away for seven weeks and this was one of the best hotels we stayed at. Highly recommended. Rooms clean and showers always hot. Wifi was fast. When we were leaving they decorated our table at breakfast time which made the stay special. Staff were genuine people.

Really nice staff and beautifully situated with a jungle feeling to it. The rooms are big and the breakfast was good as well. One morning they served (among other things) egg hoppers which is a sri lankese breakfast and it was super tasty! Would definitely stay there again

Nous avons été surclassés et avons donc bénéficié d'une chambre deluxe et effectivement notre chambre était superbe, claire et spacieuse (gigantesque même ), la salle de bain immense. Tout était ultra propre. Grâce au mini frigo nous avons pu conserver nos boissons au frais. Le personnel est serviable et gentil. Seul bémol: manger sur place n'est pas top, nous avons préféré aller à l'extérieur. L'environnement "jungle" aux alentours est calme et reposant. La piscine de l'hôtel fabuleuse, nous en avons profité les 3 jours où nous étions là, pour faire passer les grosses chaleurs, il n'y à pas mieux. Superbe expérience pour un prix défiant toute concurrence au moment de notre passage.
