Unawatuna Beach Bunglow

Really close to the centre of night live and the beach. The inside is very quiet but a lot of stores are nearby.

There were ants in the bathroom even at 1st floor, but this is quite common

Нет воды в номере только за деньги. Нет телевизора. Нет замка ночью закрыться и не закрывается туалет лежит камень. Нет чая, кофе в номере.

Менеджмент отеля великолепен, я как дома была! Все просьбы сразу исполнялись. Идеально для нахождения на пару-тройку дней. Очень вкусные завтраки!

Мало розеток в комнате, сам отель староват.

Хорошее местоположение, до пляжа 2 минуты. В принципе все необходимое в номере есть. Мы прибыли в 6 утра и тем не менее нас пожалели и запустили не взяв доп.оплаты. Я очень благодарна за отношение и готовность всегда прийти на помощь.

Я не знаю это проблема влажного климата или самого отеля. В самой комнате будто бы было влажно и из-за этого стоял запах затхлости. Он прошел после уборки относительно. Но так как чтобы убираются только по просьбе, мне было неудобно каждый раз об этом просить. В комнате также было много мурашей и они кусались.

Muy buena ubicación al lado de la playa. La familia que lo lleva es encantadora y te ayudan siempre. El desayuno casero muy bueno!

Прекрасное расположение - до пляжа реально 2 минуты. В отеле дают пляжные полотенца, что очень удобно. Терраса с креслами и столиком-. Рядом множество мест , где можно пообедать.

В нашем номере с двумя спальнями был один санузел, хотя в описание было указано два. Это оказалось неприятным сюрпризом. Проблема с напором воды .

Den centrale beliggenhed væk fra den store vej er genial - på 2 minutter er du på stranden. Selve hotellets fysiske ramme skaber en hyggelig stemning. Der er urolig grønt og fra det øjeblik du træder ind af lågen oplever man en form for gårdhave, der omkranser hotellets åbne restaurant . Vi nød at kunne sidde ude foran lejlighedens balkon i skygge, hvor der var fredeligt. Personalet er topklasse yderst imødekommende med varme smil og masser af good vibes. Der bliver fejet og holdt løbende rent på fællesarealerne i løbet af dagen. Det var skønt at blive tilbudt Beach Towels.

Vi kunne lide det hele men vi boede i en lejlighed - en familie på 4 og udstyret er ret simpelt. Der kan skæres frugt og laves en kop kaffe på El-kedel og det var skønt med et køleskab . Vi savnede lidt mere service i lejlighedens køkken.

Located close to the beach.

There was a kettle but no bottled water and no tea making facilities in the room just 2 glasses wrapped in tissue. I opened one but it was dirty! Poor lighting which was an issue for me as my vision is impaired. May not be so bad for others though. Beware of bugs, despite the mosquito net I was badly bitten in the night.

1. Exceptional hospitality; Sarath and lal were really helpful with almost everything. 2. Superb breakfast and serving etiquettes. 3.Close proximity to Unawatuna beach; and ease of access to other places. 4. Rooms were as mentioned during booking, was cozy and comfortable not to mention the lush garden view.

Everything was great, but maybe the room could have slightly better toiletries.

Заселились в большой номер с кухней. Там смело в пятером можно расположиться. Поехали туда ради кухни. Но плиты там не оказалось. переехали в другой отель. Рядом с пляжем, хороший завтрак.

Ехали ради кухни, но оказалось без плиты, хотя на фото она есть. Сказали нет разрешения. Уехали на след день.

Чисто. Завтраки вкусные не смотря на то что однообразные. Персонал улыбчивый. Хорошие матрасы и постельное белье. Рядом кафе.

Наш номер был на соседскую крышу на которой валялся мусор- было не приятно встречать утро с таким видом.

Хорошее расположение, удобно для утреннего заплыва, рядом с пляжем. Чисто на всей территории, тихо, при наличии рядом пляжа и дороги, есть горячая вода, предлагают полотенца для пляжа.

Уборка в номере по требованию, полотенца ветхие. Завтраки однообразные разница в выборе приготовления яйца

Все понравилось, чисто, есть все необходимое, море рядом, дружелюбная атмосфера. Очень рада, что выбрала для проживания именно это место😍

Понравилось всё!!! Местоположение отличное, 30 метров до пляжа. Все необходимое (кафе, магазины, фруктовая лавка, винный магазин) в шаговой доступности . Завтраки вкусные, сытные , правда однообразные (как и на всей Шри-Ланке) . Рекомендуею и вернусь обязательно.

Отель понравился. Здесь очень тихо и уютно, . Жили в 3х местном стандарте, в номере не было телевизора, зато каждый день мы просыпалась и засыпали под шум океана, который находится просто в минуте от отеле и виден из окна. Немного в номере не хватало освещения лично для меня, но это мелочи. Очень внимательный персонал отеля. Чувствуется искреннее желание помочь и сделать ваш отдых лучшим. Нам понадобились лекарства, через 2 минуты их уже привезли работники отеля. По ночам закрываются ворота и дежурит охранник, что так же даёт нам ощущение безопасности. В номере есть сейф, холодильник, мы попросили доп.чайник и нам его сразу же предоставили, полотенца, шампунь и гель для душа, кондиционер и вентилятор, переходник для наших устройств. Завтраки стандартные: что-то из яиц (мы просили омлет), тосты с джемом и маслом, вкусный чай в большом чайничке и сок. Проживанием моя семья осталась довольна. Это тихий, простой, недорогой отель с очень близким расположением к океану.

Хороший семейный отель! Были включены завтраки (яйца, чай, кофе, фрукты)! В 2 минутах ходьбы к океану!

К завтракам можно добавить ветчину или сосиски)

Sadly this place was extremely disappointing and did not live up to expectations having read previous reviews. Bed linen had large holes in. Low water pressure with only a trickle of water coming out of the shower. Few toiletries which were not topped up. Room was only cleaned after we requested it. Breakfast was very poor. Meager and limited selection of items. Location was close to the beach but the access to it was not good. We only stayed a few nights and booked into another hotel which was so much better.

Апартаменты находятся очень близко к отличном пляжу! Очень отзывчивый персонал и администратор Sarah. Помогли во всём разобраться и предлагали помощь по любым вопросам. Очень чистый санузел и постель. В номере был как кондиционер, так и вентилятор, что позволяло выставить комфортную температуру. Всё отлично. Спасибо!!!

В день, когда был дождь в номере появились комары. Нужно быть готовыми и иметь фумигатор. В номере мало света. Окна выходят на общий балкон. Шторы было не открыть. ( Завтраки вкусные, но однообразные, возможно потому что не сезон сейчас.

Рядом с океаном. Персонал приветливый. Условия в апартаментах отличные- есть все: сейф, полотенца для душа и для пляжа, недалеко магазинчики. И приватность.

Один вечер громко играла музыка из ресторана до 2 часов ночи. Но это было 1 раз и в том вины гестхауза нет.

Nice family hotel, next to beach... spend your time here with all restaurants on walking distance. Is comfortabel place and help form family is good. Room s are equipped with 'klamboe' against mosquitoes and fridge on each room. Breakfast is simple but efficient served when you like between 7-10am

Close to the Beach. Nice inner courtyard. They provide a blow dryer .

First room we got was smelly and A/C didn't work properly. We have been offered another room without smell. Just one towel per person. When you hang it either outside to dry or in the bedroom where the A/C runs, you can't dry your hand in the washroom.

Good location. Family owned/operated. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Close walk to the beach. Room was clean, and good size. WiFi worked fine. Simple, yet good breakfast was included. I stayed an extra night to explore the area a bit more. Not a far walk to shops and restaurants.

The breakfast was well presented. Not great variety but very good omelette or fried egg and fresh fruit. The hotel is just back from the beach across a road. There is sea view from upstairs. Best to stay on top floor. The family who own/run the place are very friendly and helpful Lots of good vibes

As I have said it is not beachfront. It is small—more a guesthouse than a hotel. But my son and I were happy with it and with the location

Located just near the main beach. Quiet, clean and family run hotel in the heart of Unawatuna.

Very close to the beach, and very nice value for money but its not like 5 stars its more like 3 stars hotel.

At night not very comfortable alley to enterence building, not very clean towels

Everything was perfect, great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The guest house was run by some really kind and nice brothers, always there to help with everything you needed. Lal, who was in charge of the tuk tuk took us to Galle, to Jungle beach and to Koggala lake and to a turtle hatchery. The garden and yard was green and lushy. All rooms has a nice sit out where you can hear the ocean waves.

Staff was super friendly, breakfast is good and location is the best. Very near to beach and popular spots.

Room was very small, no amenities was available like Kettle.

The property is perfectly placed, both close to the beach and the lively town area. But what makes the place is the staff. They are fantastic. The place is run by 4 brothers and they are all friendly, helpful and kind. It is obvious how proud they are of their hotel and so they should be. The breakfasts are amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay here.

Lovely staff, basic but super clean accomodation in a great location

The hotel room was brilliant for us as a family. The breakfasts were great and the staff all incredibly friendly helping to arrange excursions for us. It was a fab stay.

Such a great location, right next to the beach and we were lucky to have a room with a beach view. The staff were very lovely. We were there during off season so it was very quiet, but I'm sure during peak season it would be packed and have a great vibe.

Went back for our 3rd visit and wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The road is a little tricky to find, but this quaint little Hotel is snuggled within a 30 second walk to the beach. Clean, great breakfast, and the owner and staff have always been accommodating and kind. You’ll feel like family!

This is not a Beach hotel, only near to the beach... It's not a 5* hotel...only 3*. There is no beach towel, no sun beds. The breakfast is a continental breakfast... If you want to pay by card...it's 3% extra cost...

My husband and I stayed four nights and loved everything about beach bungalow. The four brothers are all delightful and the ladies cleaning rooms and in the kitchen always a smile and eager to please. All the staff and management are all very attentive to all their guests. Friendly and helpful for any information you might need of the area, places to visit, transport making your stay very enjoyable. Loved the breakfasts and the fresh bread toasted delicious. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. Lots of hot water, air conditioning and ceiling fan worked very well. Lots places to eat, the beach is two minutes away. Very safe and would recommend staying here . We are certainly hoping to re visit next year. Big thank you for everything.

Great location right next to the beach, Close to all the nice beach restaurants and easy enough to grab a tuk tuk into Galle or any of the local attractions. Hosted and run by 4 brothers and they were super friendly and very helpful. Organised a moped for my friend and also my taxi to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were very clean. Location is very good, like 50-100m to the beach. Met 2 brothers that own the hotel and both were helpful and nice.

Very clean and well equipped rooms of the hotel with breakfast served daily. On arrival we were welcomed by friendly owners. The hotel is located in convenient place close to the beach, restaurants, little shops and spas. Only 20 minutes away from Galle Fort. We can only recommend it for your next destination.

The property is located 1minute walk from the beach. It is beautifully clean and staff is helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable. Airconditioned room. Breakfast was generous and scrumptious. We had a lovely stay!

I loved the servise Sarath and his brothers provided. Very clean rooms and restrooms. Feet from the beach. Awesome breakfast. Nilmini provided in house laundry services and cleaned the rooms everyday. Good menus for lunch and dinner, very affordable.

Wi-Fi could be better

The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located right on the beach with many bars and restaurants in short walking distance. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. If you a looking for an easy going, no fuss hotel I would recommend a stay here.

This is a good 3-star class hotel. We went over the peak holiday period (New Year holidays), and so prices were a bit more expensive than usual, which is completely understandable. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was filling and good and we had a good stay overall. The location is great too, just by the beach! The reason I am not giving 5 points for this stay is because I wasn't able to get very useful suggestions for day trips/guided tours to Galle - I was told the hotel could arrange a tuk-tuk for me and that was it. Staff was nice, but nothing that really surprised us or exceeded expectations. Also, it's a bit noisy at night, so if you're a light sleeper, this might be a problem. I would recommend this hotel. But just bear in mind that this is a 3-star hotel, so don't expect it to be something else.

Unawatuna Beach Bungalows made our stay in Unawatuna! Such hospitable staff who made us feel incredibly welcome. Really clean rooms - not high end luxury but that’s more than made up for in the level of service, convenience for the beach and delicious breakfasts. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for 4 nights during our stay in Sri Lanka and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location beside the beach. The rooms have air conditioning and are a great size with a good ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was good and we were well looked after here with fruits, fruit juice, eggs, omelettes, toast with butter and jam and tea and coffee. I would stay here again for sure

We enjoyed our stay in the unawatuna beach bungalow and would recommend it to everyone! The rooms are very nice! Even so have a refrigerator and the beds are super comfy. The people are so helpful, nice, friendly, gave us very good tips about things to do. The location is perfect, because it is right across from the ocean. So make sure to get a room in the upper floors so you have a good view ;) also it is very well located for a day trip to galle. We stayed for 4 days in January. Hotel staff is really warm n friendly..but thats true for all the people im sri lanka. The hotel is 2 mins from the beach. Its a basic place however warm and neat n clean. The only issue is that the rooms r really small. Sufficient for 1 person. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. The toast served during breakfast is one of the best i have ever eaten.

Thank you for the whole staff for our relaxing classic beach holiday at Unawatuna Beach Bungalow. Everywhere perfect cleanliness (room, bathroom, common areas), ocean view from our room and very kind, helpful staff. When we needed, we got immediate help from the staff otherwise we could live our days calmly. We would definitely come back, hope to see you soon!! :)

Excellent little hotel just a few paces from the beach. Lovely friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Can't remember names but a big thanks to the guy who cleaned our room every day and the "in house" tuk tuk driver who couldn't have been more helpful. Delicious breakfast. Loads of fabulous restaurants nearby. Would definitely return.

we stayed here for 3 nights. we had a nice double room with a nice four poster bed. room was clean and spacious. Although there was warm water, it was mostly warm during the day and not at night when we wanted to shower (luke warm at best). They only served western breakfast with toast, which is not our favourite (at all), so it was a pity they did not serve any sri lankan breakfast (even if it only would have been roti or something). Especially the last night it was quite noisy outside and there was loud music (presumably coming from the beach). Of course the owners cannot help that, but it did keep us awake, unfortunately. the location is very nice though (except for the noise), it is very close to the beach and close to the main street with restaurants and shops.

Family run hotel. Very friendly with clean nice rooms. Good breakfast and next to the beach. High value for your money. Close to all beach restaurants and shops. Recommend this hotel and will visit again if we come back to Unawatuna.

The room was a little dark and there was some noise from the street at night BUT the hotel is a 30 second walk from the best part of the beach, the owner and staff are all friendly and helpful, the breakfast is plentiful (fruit selection, Sri Lankan omelette, bread, jam and butter), the AC works well, and most importantly it is very good value for money. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is budget conscious but not wanting to compromise on a central location.

We stayed for one night and the hotel is on the beach side. It’s a place where you can access many restaurants, bars and places to have a sunbath. Easy access to beach. Clean rooms,toilets and comfy beds. Food was good. Excellent place to stay with your loved ones.
