Comfy bed, on site bar and restaurant, walkable to river and rest of downtown Boise. Easy access to airport. Rooftop patio, skyline views from room and patio.

Love the atmosphere and vibe. We stay there because of the bar.

They raise prices during events, we paid 168 1st night and 365 second just because a concert in town. Shower drain did not drain, about 1 inch at all times after shower was done

Great location a few blocks from both the art museum and greenbelt. Parking in the garage was easier than expected. Special shout out to Sean at the service desk who was helpful with every little detail, including a guided tour of the spa. Only issue for us was the floor of the jacuzzi tub which was slicker than an ice rink to the point of being dangerous. We learned however that it is operated by an independent company so nothing they can do about it.

Loved the Proximity to downtown Boise and the convention centre. Friendly and accomodating staff. Airport shuttle service.

It was too far a walking distance from a “real” store like walmart.

From the moment the valet helped us to SEAN as the concierge to the front desk staff I was made to feel welcome and stress-free. SEAN was kind enough to get a luggage cart help load our luggage and even take it up to our room for us as my husband is on oxygen and that is usually a struggle for us. Now I normally don’t talk about hair dryers, but let me say that they actually have one that is like my one at home not like the cheap crap most hotels have secured to the wall. The restaurant on site was fantastic with an amazing bison meatloaf. The room not only had a walk-in shower but an amazing freestanding tub which I took advantage of and used their robes and slippers. We were up on the 13th floor on the Fourth of July and we could see all of the fireworks in town. I am a local and needed a stress-free day away and The Grove fit that Bill. I would stay again.

It’s just a little pricey for us. We did splurge this time but we can’t afford to always stay here like we would like to.

Check-in starting at the valet was so smooth and Sean I believe the concierge was immediately helpful grabbing a cart for our luggage and gangs to the counter. He told us a little bit about the restaurant hours ,the spa hours ,and even helped with our luggage upstairs, which was a bonus since we retired and weary. Funny for me to write about a hair dryer, but it was just like mine at home, which all the other hotels I’ve ever been to are those cheap lightweight barely working hairdryers. I would stay here again. It was very comfortable.

Yes, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, but like most things in life, it's what's on the inside that truly counts. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by the valet team, I knew I was in for a great experience. They were professional, welcoming, incredibly kind and handsome for sure. Not only did they help with my luggage, but they also went above and beyond by assisting with work materials that needed to be delivered to the arena. That level of service made a lasting first impression. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary fitness center was an unexpected bonus, and having access to both a steam room and hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day of work. The bars and restaurants were also fantastic, with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. As impressive as all of those amenities were, they still don't compare to Sean. I honestly don't know if I've ever met someone so genuinely passionate about customer service. He was attentive, enthusiastic, and consistently went far above and beyond what anyone would expect from a manager. His commitment to making every guest feel valued is remarkable, and he is the biggest reason I will continue choosing this hotel whenever I'm in the area. So yes, this is a beautiful hotel—but it's the people who work here that truly make it exceptional. They are the reason guests keep coming back, and they are what set this hotel apart from the rest.

My wife and I went to Boise for the first time just to see the city. We chose the Grove Hotel as it was centrally located and had an adjoining spa/fitness center. We had a wonderful room on the 13th floor with excellent views of the city. Our room was a suite with 2 separate rooms and it turned out perfect. We ate at the Trillium restaurant on the premises. We ended up eating all our breakfasts there (we were there a week) because the food was so good, coffee was great, it was convenient and the service 5 star. Why go anywhere else? We also ate 2 dinners in the restaurant. The food is well prepared and extremely good and we very much enjoyed our dinners. In addition, the service was excellent with everyone so helpful and nice. We highly recommend eating there. Our room came very clean and we opted for no maid service and handled things ourselves as we are not messy people and got help with towels or dumping trash anytime we needed. The service and friendliness of the hotel staff, led by the manager we interacted with, Sean, was, once again (this gets boring, huh?) excellent. The front desk is always patient and helpful. The shuttle from and to the airport was perfect. We can't say enough about the service and friendliness of the people working in the hotel. It is clearly 5 star. I have been in rated 5 star hotels in this country and in Europe and none exceed the service we received here. Just a side note, we found the people in Boise to be very friendly and helpful, more than most other places we have been. This is far too long. When we come back to Boise we will stay here again. We did have a great massage in the spa but we really didn't use the pool or fitness center because we walked the town and then got lazy. Grove Hotel is very highly recommended.

I've stayed at some very nice hotels and have never received customer service like we did at the Grove. Sean and Deserae went so above and beyond to take care of us. Can's speak highly enough about them and the rest of the staff. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Boise.

Check in was extremely noisy due to location of desk with bar. Coffee was taken away at 7 am…too early.

The Grove is in a perfect location for visiting Boise without needing a car. It's within walking distance to restaurants, bars, entertainment (theater, library, plays), and attractions (capitol building, river walk), shopping. The hotel is very nice with comfortable, clean rooms with all the amenities you could want. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about the area. You can even see a hockey game without leaving the hotel. The free shuttle to and from the airport is a nice plus.

It is a bit more expelnsive than some of the other hotels in the area.

The coffee service was nice, could have been longer. Only lasted until 7 a.m. Our bedroom was spacious, I didn't like that we were put into a wheelchair accessible room. There was no room around the sink to place items. The shower got the floor very wet, we placed a towel there. I thought the pillows were amazing, however the bed was just ok. We loved the bar inside and the manager there.

Aesthetics were a cool modern vibe. Bar and restaurant looked nice but didn’t get a chance to try. Appreciated flight update screen at front desk.

Not enough elevators and had to wait in line in cramped corridor to get on. Sometimes staff were there transporting things as well and had to skip guests. Sheets were a bit hard/starchy and got warm.

I didn’t get the room I paid for on Booking.com. They said I shouldn’t have booked from a 3rd party site. Room was like a hospital room than a hotel room - about as comfortable too. Definitely not worth the premium price.

Our stay at The Grove Hotel was exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, from the beautifully appointed rooms to the impeccable service. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, and the prime location made our experience seamless. Everything was truly lovely, and we look forward to returning.

I am pleased with The Grove. Located in a very cool and walkable downtown area. The property has a great fitness center. I was on the newly renovated)6th floor which was clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent in every way. My compliments to management.

I love the convenience of where it’s located. We did a hockey game, which was in the hotel. We ate dinner and breakfast outside the hotel, but within walking distance of our hotel.

The shower door wouldn't open we had to have maintenance come in. We asked for an extra pillow that we never received. The construction was loud and there were screaming kids in the next room for hours.

Stayed one night for new year eve. A truly solid luxury hotel. Nothing fancy but everything is nice. The complementary champaign at check in is a very nice touch and welcoming. We enjoyed the hotel's perfect location. It is on the capitol blvd and very close to the capitol building for new year celebration.

I ordered room service for dinner and for breakfast. The food that was delivered was absolutely spectacular!!! The interior design in the room was comfortable and high-end! The staff was very helpful and kind!

The hot tub and steam room were both out of order.

Location is terrific- front desk staff spent time trying to find us a nice room. Very helpful and very pleasant. The gym is also FANTASTIC! I was an executive with AAA during my career and this definitely met 4 Diamond expectations.

No cups in the room for coffee or water. No instructions on where to get water (we figured it out) Also never heard from anyone when we requested the airport shuttle when we originally did our booking.

The room meet my expectations for it. We loved the view that we had for the city we were able to see the city during the night and there was football game during that night. It had a beautiful view during sunrise. We were very surprised with the room having a water pitch we stayed on the 12th floor, and we had the machine that dispense water and it had different types of water.

Stay & staff “above & beyond”. So convenient as a Steelhead fan!!! The valet & front desk were exceptional. Room was better than expected!!! Only thing missing was online check-in

Right in the heart of downtown Boise. Walking distance to many places in the downtown area. Kind and friendly service. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent fitness center and spa area. Excellent views from the room.

Exceptional service!

The hotel room was nice and comfortable.

The woman checking us in was not pleasant and did not seem like she wanted to be bothered by us.

They left us in the cold weather out side of the airport awaiting for the hotel shuttle for more than 30 minutes, after several attempts to contact the front desk we decided to take an uber. We got to the hotel an hour later than expected, we asked the front desk men if the phone system was down and he replied “I was at the gym trying to play a game for some VIPs that are staying at this hotel” and laughed, he showed no care nor sympathy towards us as he only cared about the vips. This happened on October 27, 2025

We had some hiccups during our stay. No cold water, no shower curtain, no air conditioning and a plugged toilet. All though everything was fixed with the exception of the air. They did move us to a beautiful suite for our last night because maintenance said we should be moved. The staff was wonderful. I just wish they would of offered a discount on our stay

We stayed here because we had a block of rooms for a wedding. Our entire family went and many of our friends. We flew in from So. California and it was our 1st time visiting Boise. The bride did a GREAT job by picking this place! We stayed 4 nights and we had an incredible experience here. We LOVED it! Great location, excellent service, nice rooms, wonderful Lobby bar and Restaurant. I was particularly impressed with the manager, Sean. He was always smiling, greeting guests, making sure everyone was taken care of and helpful with everything. He made sure we got taken care of with bikes which was a fantastic experience as well! The bartenders (Julie B., Haley, and 1 other) were very attentive and fun and managed serving a huge group of us before the wedding. It was chaotic but they handled it so well and with such patience and kept their humor. We also truly enjoyed the gym (pool, jacuzzi, spa, steam room, sauna) and the outside terrace on the 4th floor. We grabbed some wine and beer at Trader Joe's across the street and went up to their terrace and sat with the firepits and had a cozy wonderful and inexpensive rooftop experience. I would highly suggest staying if/when visiting Boise. Couldn't have been a better location.

Very clean and nicely remodeled. Great dining options. We ate at the bar and our meals were fantastic. A little trouble getting out of the parking garage. The room key is supposed to open the gate but it didn’t. We had to call. We were really looking forward to the hot tub but it was out of order. Nice pool and sauna though. Great stay overall and the price was reasonable

Hotel was a king suite with jetted tub. There was not even a bath tub in the room.
