Sorrento Marida Rooms

Incredible hosts of a fabulous accommodation in the best location.

Incredible hosts, of a wonderful apartment in the best central location

No había ascensor.

Great little apartment tucked in a quiet alley just off the Main Street in Sorrento. We were a six minute walk from the train and bus terminal, 1 minute to the Main Street and 5 minutes to the beach! Close to heaps of bars and restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The apartment was beautifully presented in an authentic Sorrento style. Modern and very clean. Bathroom was great too...lots of hooks to hang your stuff and also very clean. Having a little balcony/deck was a nice luxury when travelling....somewhere to retreat for a while and also to hang your wet clothes, towels and swimmers. We advised our friendly host of the approximate time of our arrival the day before and received a warm greeting upon arrival.

Can't think of anything much... There wasn't an elevator, but our host carried our bags up one flight of stairs. We only stayed for four nights!

The property is ran by a family and they were all so friendly. We have been to Sorrento before and knew what to expect, and this property was exactly what we were looking for. It is very clean, included a small kitchenette and had enough towels and bedding. They were very responsive when on property and helped us with an iron. We had a perfect little balcony that looked into the hills of Sorrento. Would stay again!

Everything was exactly what we expected for the price we paid.

Todo bien

Superb location with amazing staff:) Stayed on top floor with private terrace - was quite lovely

N-am intampinat nicio problema in cele 5 nopti cat am stat. Ne-a placut locatia si vom reveni cu siguranta.

Self catering

We could have stayed longer as everything was perfectt

Localização excelente, quarto limpo e limpeza diária no quarto

Super locatie in het centrum van Sorrento. Heel fijn ruim dakterras. Goed bed

Todo. Departamento espacioso y muy lindo. La limpieza muy buena.

Nada

The location.

Considering this was one of the expensive rooms in Sorrento, there were several issues that I feel are important for future guests to know about. There was no Wi-Fi, so I had to use my own mobile data, which cost me an additional $5 per day. There was also no hair dryer in the room. An iron was only available upon request and, even then, could only be kept for one day. The coffee machine. The water inside was dirty, which I unfortunately only noticed after I had almost finished my coffee. Realising that I had been drinking coffee made with dirty water was extremely unpleasant and raised concerns about cleanliness. You can also clearly hear noise from the other rooms, even after midnight due to later checkings of other guests. The walls appear to be very thin, so conversations can easily be heard, which can make it difficult to sleep. Another major concern is that there is no reception. Luggage is left unsupervised in the reception area, just a few metres from the main entrance. I saw other guests' luggage sitting there unattended both when I entered and when I left the building. It did not seem secure. The lack of reception also means that after checking out, there isn't really a proper or secure area where you can wait with your luggage. You can leave your luggage there, but you are asked to leave the building as soon as you check out, so there is nowhere for guests to wait if they have time before their departure. Any one of these issues might be understandable at a budget property, but when you are paying an highest room rates, the overall standard and level of service should be significantly better.

Fantastic location, tucked away in the old town down a gorgeous alleyway. Really close to the action but quiet and private too. Very friendly hosts.

Great location. Great staff. Lovely big spacious room. Great value for money

Fab location. Right where we wanted to be. Clean and lovely staff. We couldn’t have wanted anything better!

Large clean room, great aircon. No complaints :)

Atención y habitación

Clean apartment and close to everything. Very responsive host.

Pillows were thin.

Great location!

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful the hotel was. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and everything was spotless and very well maintained. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff was kind and welcoming, making us feel at home. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely big balcony with a nice view, table chairs and sunbeds. Really good location and well equipped

Had a bit of a weird smell think there might have been something wrong with the plumbing/pipes while we were there

Gentilezza dello staff.

Great location. Staff was excellent and helpful. Room was very spacious and great air conditioning!

Disgusting property - do not stay Cancel before you turn up and refuse to let you stay - disgraceful hotel

Service is possibly the worst I have ever experienced- do yourself a favour and book elsewhere if you want to guarantee you will get a room The hotel cancelled our booking on the day of arrival so we had to look elsewhere Do NOT stay!

Good location in thr centre of the town

Quite noisy but that was more to do with the residents banging around on the stairs

Great central location - very spacious and clean room.

Location fabulous, staff helpful, very clean.

Not the landlords fault but some guests can be very noisy, maybe a sign to be considerate of others would be good.

The owners were so lovely, the room was great, and the location was perfect! We would definitely stay here again!

het was perfect, ideale locatie, perfecte accomodatie, super schoon en mooi, zeer vriendelijke eigenaren

helemaal niets

Location

The location was wonderful; steps away from the main street but on a quiet side street. Large and spacious. Clean bathroom and the addition of the small kitchenette was very helpful. The daily towels and light cleaning was apprecaited.

Nothing! We loved this room and would stay again.

The location is great - close enough to train station, marina and the main shopping/restaurant area. Friendly staff, large room with terrace (triple room).

Nothing specific.

L’alloggio migliore della nostra vacanza. Semplice, curato, pulitissimo, spazioso e super centrale. Grazie!!

Location is fantastic. Our room was large and had a wonderful terrace. Staff was very helpful. Everything was excellent.

This property was centrally located, easy to find and close to everything.

Nothing! The people were wonderful!

Great location, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was a great size very clean and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay.

Struttura nuova pulita e centrale a Sorrento.

Our room was large and spacious. The little kitchen was great.loved having our coffee or tea in the morning. This room was bigger than most rooms we’ve had on our vacation so far. Very clean and quiet place. Right in the heart of walking to places to eat, shopping or even walking to the ocean. We really enjoyed staying here and wish it could have been longer. Also, loved the little family run Italian restaurant outside the door downstairs.

Excellent service

Host was very nice / place in great location/ loved the outside terrace on top floor

There was a little smell in the bathroom coming from either toilet or sink on occasion..

Perfectly located clean and loved having our own personal deck overlooking lemon groves in Sorrento. We dined our first night at the lovely restaurant next to our apartment - restaurant Allegro -

We knew it didn’t have an elevator so our host kindly helped me with my bag to lift it up to 3rd floor - which was still worth having the deck by far - would definitely stay again

Great location

Outdoor space was Ok but not as pictured

Spacious room, private balcony, great WiFi, really good location to central Sorrento but just off the beaten path enough that it was quiet. Also near many restaurants.

Bed was so firm we slept on the pullout couch. This was only issue, everything else was wonderful including staff.

The location was in such a convenient and quiet part of Sorrento, but still just a few blocks from the train station, elevator to go down to the port, grocery store and so close to all the fun happenings that Sorrento has to offer. The efficiency was so nice and we loved the little patio to relax on in the evenings. The staff were very kind and welcoming and cleaned our room each day.

The bed was extremely firm. Other than that - everything was perfect!

Great location and easy to locate Friendly staff

Très bien situé, au centre de Sorrente. Proche des restaurants. Calme.

Fabulous location, and great spacious room with kitchenette facilities and dining area and balcony. Staff were so kind and friendly too

We loved the location of the property. Right in the middle of the main precinct with shops, pubs and restaurants minutes away. So convenient but in a quiet alleyway. Our accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our 5day stay. The kitchenette was so handy and the balcony was big enough to sit out and enjoy the beautiful weather we had. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this property and come back in the future.

Well equipped studio, comfortable bed, view over the town to the hills, easy access to everything in Sorrento.

Nothing

Brilliant location and great hosts

Central location and cleanliness.

We loved the balcony where we could sit outside and the use of the kitchen in our room.

The shower was very small and even taking fast showers there wasn’t enough hot water for more than 2 or 3 of us to have a warm shower. It would have been nice to have a bigger water heater.

Ideaal gelegen.

Great location, warm welcome and valuable support for parking lot...

La ubicacion

Todo estuvo bien

Wspaniały pokój z aneksem kuchennym w samym centrum Sorrento, blisko katedry. Czysto i przyjemnie na kilkudniowy pobyt, apartament dobrze wyposażony, codziennie czyste ręczniki oraz sprzątanie. Spędziliśmy z mężem cudowny czas. Polecam serdecznie :) .
