Good beds, near restaurants and shops but not in the middle of noice in the night ( you hear some music in the night) . Friendly staf, airco and rooms have lots of space.

Jedno z najlepszych miejsc na nocleg! Obiekt bardzo zadbany, nawet podwórko - przycięta trawa, donice z kwiatami, a w małym oczku żółwie. Duży, czysty pokój, dobrze umeblowany i wyposażony (klima, lodówka, czajnik). Bardzo przyjazny i pomocny personel - zwłaszcza Pan stróżujący tam wieczorami, który był mega towarzyski i pomagał jak tylko mógł. Śniadania też bardzo dobre.

Il wifi non funzionava, abbiamo provato a chiedere ma nulla.

La ubicación está bien en una calle alejada de ruidos pero muy cerca de la playa de las tortugas y las dos plazas de al lado. El trato del personal es absolutamente perfecto. Solicitamos cena en el hotel que nos tenían preparada a la hora acordada: recomendamos el pescado a la plancha. El aire acondicionado funciona muy bien. Pasatona limpiar y a recoger la habitación todos los días.

Reservé una habitación con balcón y no tuvimos. De hecho, al tener la planta más alta ni siquiera el balcón común lo era ya que estaba cerrado. Nos quedamos sin agua los dos días. Hubo cortes de agua un poco molestos porque no nos avisaron de que lo iban a hacer. Y me pilló con la ducha a medias. En el desayuno no tienen fruta fresca. Único lugar del país donde nos hemos alojado que no tienen. Eso sí, zumo de fruas sí. Pero nos dijeron que no era posible colocarnos un plato de fruta en vez del zumo. El wifi funciona regular y no hay presión de agua.

Чистые просторные номера с зеленью на балконах, приятный дворик. Владелец лично присутствует и уточняет все ли ок. Завтраки небольшие и выбор небольшой, но при недолгом проживании нормально. Уборка каждый день, смена белья раз в три дня. Рядом оживленная улица, но в отеле ее не слышно от слова совсем. С удовольствием вернусь сюда.

Шумоизоляция в ванной. Слышно всё. Это единственный минус.

Не соответствует цена и качество, хотя за такую сумму могли бы добавить завтрак, но нет За три дня проживание убирались один раз , полотенца не меняли, ночью по моему лицу полз черви , проснулась от ужаса

There were no negatives we had 9 lovely nights here.The room was large well furnished and a lovely big balcony,the bathroom always had hot water in the shower,complimentary toiletries were also available.We had the breakfast every morning and it was lovely and fresh.All the staff were really lovely Ranga who manages the property was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.I would recommend this hotel and i hope to visit again.The property is a short walk from the beach so nice and peaceful,plenty of shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk.

There wasn't anything to dislike.However on the booking.com photos sun beds were shown in the garden area but we never saw any...but not a problem gor us.

Lovely hotel, really friendly staff and beautiful big rooms. We had a west facing balcony and were on the third floor so could watch the birds in the trees. Room is nicely decorated and cleaned daily. Breakfast is nice. Location is good, only a short walk to the beach (the beach with turtles!) and is off of the main road (so much quieter than other hotels!)

Not much. No water provided in the rooms but tea/coffee was. Toilet didn’t have an extractor fan. Just little things!

Posizione ottima a meno di 10 minuti dalla spiaggia. Camera grande, con un bel terrazzino. Pulita e bel bagno. Ci ritornerei.

We liked how friendly the staff was. They let our kids play with their pet turtles and bunny. The rooms on the third floor where we stayed were spacious and clean.

We did inquire about doing laundry and they were not able to accommodate our request. The Sri Lankan breakfast of roti and dahl (upon request) was delicious and slightly more filling that the western breakfast of toast and egg.

Very comfortable stay, lovely clean facilities (best bathroom we had during our trip to Sri Lanka!), good working ac, great location a short walk from the beach! Lovely big balcony! Would stay again, great value for money.

Big stylish room and balcony Very good breakfast Very attentive personal: they checked us in an hour earlier without any problems and were always ready to help Cleaning! It was the only one from several our hotels where the room was cleaned during the living. Very pleasant.

The main thing that I do not like is reconstruction works during all our living. That was very disappointing and irritating. Firstly it was on the first floor (we lived on the 3rd) and we saw the dust from cutting tiles under our balcony. Then it was held in the room above us (till 9 pm) and finally in the next room. I wish the hotel would not accommodate guests during the rooms renovation. However, future guests will be living in newly renovated rooms which is good

Lovely place and staff. Huge room on the ground floor overlooking the garden, with large bathroom containing a washing machine (handy!) Also had a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, kettle, etc. Perfect!

Really enjoyed the place. A short walk to the beach, which was absolutely fine, but others may prefer to be overlooking the sea. Not a problem for us as it meant that it was away from all the street noise and traffic, etc.

The room was big, the AC was working very well and there was a refrigerator in the room also. The wifi connectivity can be better though. The owner is very good and extremely cooperative. He had arranged a taxi for the airport pickup for a reasonable price. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Good location away from the noise of the town and train. Walking distance to get to the high st for supper etc. Nice staff.

It’s fine for a night but we wouldn’t have stayed longer. The room had a strange smell. Carpet on the floor was dirty. Shower leaked all over the bathroom. Balcony doors didn’t open. Not great value all things considered but maybe that’s because it’s Hikkaduwa which I thought was overrated.

Breakfast was just as expected. Fruit smoothie, toast, coffee and scrambled/fried or omelette. Perfectly acceptable. Staff REALLY friendly and helpful Room of good size with fridge; excellent shower.

Initially the lock to our sliding door on ground floor room wouldn't work but it was fixed within 24 hrs. The bedding was changed regularly but there was some staining. Had to ask for a safe. Cash only - which to be fair is detailed at the bottom of the Booking.com listing but I missed it, and should be available in this day and age

The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff went out of their way every single day to make sure we were 100% taken care of and happy throughout our stay. Plus, this place has the best WiFi we found in all of Hikkaduwa.

This is no negative against the property, since they have the best WiFi in the area, but just a general note for other travelers - if you're planning on working during your time in Hikkaduwa, you might want to reconsider, as the WiFI everyone maxes at around 15Mb/sec download and 5MB/sec upload - which is way too slow for intensive tasks like video calls, large downloads etc. But once again, this is just the area - nothing the property can do about this!

Wonderful staff, Wonderful Sri lankan breakfast with the most delicious flavors. The garden is Beautiful and all the rooms on the upper floors are so stunning. Highly recomend.

Neighbours dog makes a lot of noise sometimes. The neighbour doesnt seem to care but as a guest, its impossible not to be disturbed by the barking.

Location is fantastic, it's quiet at night but just a two minute walk from a busy road with variety of restaurants, shops, pharmacy etc everything you need. Hikkaduwa Beach is two minutes walk from the property, ten minutes walk is a beach great for surfers. Rooms are large, big windows views are spectacular, watch sunset from the balcony. Local people are very humble and delightful. Really feels like you're in the jungle, you'll see monkeys, lizards, peacocks, also turtles in the nearest part of the beach.

Shower floods the whole bathroom floor but they do provide plenty of towels.

Best place to stay in Hikaduwa. Absolutely great staff and friendly, will help you with any question. Rooms are clean and big with great view from the balcony. Definitely recommended place.

The young boy working there was very nice and friendly, the problem is that being friendly didn’t help with the cockroaches in our bed. After half an hour talking with the boss, we didn’t have to pay our $36 stay so I don’t want to be too harsh, but I’m still writing this review because you can’t have the scores above 9 on booking and have cockroaches in all the room.

As said we spent a really bad night, it all began with a big fat cockroach crawling on top of my leg, I was in bed, scrolling on my phone and didn’t even notice, shook it off, thinking it was a simple fly, but then felt it moving quickly on my body and got pretty scared, I managed to kill it and so I had proof. I repeat this was inside of the bed, of course we couldn’t sleep well after that. They didn’t have any other rooms available so we had to stay there since it was 11pm and with a lot of luggage couldn’t look for another hotel at that time. The very nice and smiling young lad that works there was so sorry but sadly being sorry doesn’t help for those things, he’s only solution was to spray poison in the room, which does absolutely nothing to the cockroaches, and and is bad only for us… While he was in the room, another cockroach appeared, and we killed it together, so he saw I wasn’t lying, and during the evening I saw many more.

Large, light room, tastefully decorated with excellent facilities. Aircon worked very well and always plenty of hot water. The host was very attentive, always checking on us, and ready to assist with any queries we might have. The accommodation is tucked away from the busy and noisy main street( but minutes away from anything you need),therefore very quiet. We had a wonderful stay.

Wifi was patchy at times but sorted out once raised with the owner. Although very nice, breakfast was almost always the same( fresh juice, tost, jam, eggs cooked in different ways, ta/ coffee). One day out of 6, we were offered sri lankan breakfast, but this was quite basic compared with other sri lankan breakfasts we had.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and practical. We had a fridge, an AC, and were offered cleaning for no extra charge. The breakfast was yummy and the staff were amazing!

A nice quiet place, the main road is just a 5 minute walk away. The windows of my room faced a wild garden with trees and bushes, and I really enjoyed the sounds of nature, especially during the night - frogs, crickets, birds. All you can wish for if you need a good night's sleep.

The sheets and towels are a bit worn, though well-washed and clean. The glass wall in the shower didn't work properly, so there were puddles all around the bathroom floor that would take time to dry out.

Room space, service, cleanliness all on top notch.value for money . 👍

The rooms are very spacious and clean! The location is amazing and the whole homestay ist very beautiful. The host is a very nice person and helps you with everything you need. Just ask. They also have a very good sri lankan breakfast. Thanks for the nice stay. We will definetly come back :)

Pleasantly surprised by this property - big, clean rooms. Nice bathroom. Very friendly and helpful service. Location is close to the main road but set back so not too noisy and busy. The properly do not always check their bookings from Expedia so I would confirm your reservation in advance.

Bra läge i lugnt kvarter gångavstånd till strand, stan och restauranger. Stora rum, bekväma sängar, mycket rent Minus är heltäckningsmatta. Tv ingår i boendets bekvämlighet och det betalar för trots att den inte fungerar. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.
