Die Treppen am Zugang zum Hotel. In der Beschreibung war klar, dass die Zimmer per Aufzug erreicht werden sollten. Leider gab es eine sehr steile und nicht einfache Treppe, bis zur Anmeldung, zu bewältigen, was sicherlich nicht ausdrücklich in der Beschreibung klar ersichlich war. Konnte ich nur sehr schwer bewältigen.

Vond het erg gehorig en het is een kleine kamer. De wc zit er dicht op de douche.

Great place, clean, comfortable, nice and cosy, beautiful design, in an old historical building, very good location, right in the city center and next to the subway, but the best think is breakfast- they have e menu and make it especially for you, like in a restaurant, everything was very fresh and high quality, and the women who work in the kitchen are so nice and make you feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel!!

The room is a bit small, but it didn't bother us at all.

Was very conveniently located. The rooms are very small, which i did read other reviews prior, but I didn't really realise how small they actually are, however we were only there for 1 night and it was perfectly fine for whay we needed. The beds are comfortable, pillows are also really comfortable which is something I always struggle with at accommodations. We had to leave really early so sadly didn't get to try the breakfast that they offer. All in all, it was good for the price and the location

Комната очень маленькая, был жуткий запах канализации в комнате, открывали окно, чтобы проветрить, но это не очень помогло. Окно открывалось прямо на кровать, поэтому, если открыть окно, то при вставании с кровати можно удариться об створку. Окно открывается в стену соседнего дома, который можно достать рукой. Были проблемы с канализацией в номере, если моешься то стоишь в луже воды, которая не уходит. Вай-фай в номере не работал от слова совсем.

The bed was so comfortable! The shower and the breakfast were also really good. Location was great - close to Monastiraki subway station and even closer to Psyri neighborhood, which is full of restaurants and places to discover. Staff was always very friendly.

The window in the room opened to some sort of inner ventilation shaft, so no street views at all. As I only stayed for one night, it wasn’t that much of a big deal. The lift was actually quite slow and small, but as my room was located on the first floor, and again, just for one night, I’d usually just take the steps.

Colazione varia, abbondante e di buona qualità. Vicolo un po' trascurato, ma l'hotel si distingue, anche visivamente con la sua facciata, per cura e servizi.

Direi nulla, considerato il rapporto qualità prezzo. Magari un set bagno con qualche dotazione in più (cuffia doccia)

La struttura ha un’ottima posizione, a pochissimi metri dalla metro e da piazza MONASTIRAKI, e si possono raggiungere le principali attrazioni anche a piedi ! La camera era pulita ed accogliente, ogni giorno vengono fatte le pulizie e cambiati asciugamani etc, anche la colazione è molto buona, c’è anche un menù per scegliere dei piatti che preparano al momento ! Lo staff è super gentile e molto disponibile, sin dal momento dell’accoglienza, grazie per la disponibilità ed attenzione che date agli ospiti .. ci avete accolto in ogni momento della giornata con il sorriso e ci avete chiesto se andava tutto bene .. trovare questa gentilezza non è affatto scontato ! Grazie mille per tutto

Very friendly and helpful stuff ready to provide you will all the touristic tips and suggestions. Breakfast is just amazing with buffet options and a menu to choose from. Rooms are comfortable offering everything you need. Location is convenient close to main historical attractions and a metro line to the airport. Great value for money!

I was staying twice, and while the double room was perfect, the single one was overlooking a wall which would be better to know in advance

Exceptional stay in the heart of Athens! The Athens Marker Portrait turned out to be the ideal choice for our stay. Its perfect location is a huge plus—extremely close to the Metro Station and right near the city centre, making getting around completely effortless. What truly sets this hotel apart is the warm and exemplary hospitality of the staff: Fanis (Morning Reception): Simply outstanding! Always eager to help, he even thoughtfully offered us cold water on a very hot day. Incredibly polite and professional. Night Receptionist: The night staff member was equally polite, always greeting us with a genuine smile that made us feel welcome no matter what time we returned. As for the room, although compact, it was absolutely perfect for a one-night stay in Athens. It was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities (fridge, soaps, toothbrushes, razors, etc.), missing not a single detail. Highly recommended—we will definitely choose it again!

When i arrived i got a room that was far away from the pictures of the website. The room was not as big as you could expect and more like prison cell. It smelled intesively mold and old AC and was verry dark. It was so upleasant that I left directly. As an allergic it woud not have been possible to stay there over fife nights. Of course that is my impresson of the place and I did not stay there at all, but my first impresson lets me not recommend that place. Especially because when You book the room You can not get a refund after arrival. My of course subjective recommendstion, choose another place.

Bom café da manhã, equipe muito gentil. O quarto era pequeno, mas confortável. O banho era muito bom, cama e toalhas também muito bons. A cafeteira nespresso dentro do quarto foi uma surpresa muito agradável.

A única coisa que não funcionou foi a tranca da porta, mas não tive nenhum problema.

Great location, close to the metro and all the tourist attractions are within 30 minute walk. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and made good use of the smaller space available. Breakfast buffet was varied with both plenty of hot and cold options.

Bathroom was quite compact, we found it ok but for anyone who is on the taller or bigger side it might be a bit of a squeeze!

Location was perfect, few minutes walking distance to the attractions. All Receptionist were excellent, very friendly and very helpful specially Nick if I name correctly. Breakfast was very generous for what you pay, couldn’t ask more. It was very delicious, special high protein with avocado and green salad from menu. Spinach pastry. So yummy. Free bottle of water everyday and all enmities are available on request if you didn’t find in room. It’s all free and no extra cost. Room was so clean, smell was good around hotel and room. Love it!

There is window but it’s just a wall but it didn’t affected me at all.

O centro de Athenas assusta, mas é muito seguro! E a localização do hotel não poderia ser melhor. Super central, em bairro trendy e cheio de bares. O pessoal da recepção foi incrível comigo, super queridos. Fiquei com pena de ter ficado apenas uma noite. Voltaria a me hospedar lá, com certeza.

Mycket bra läge med gångavstånd till många sevärdheter och gott om restauranger i närområdet. Mitt enkelrum var litet men funktionellt och välstädat. Mycket bra frukost inkluderad med flera olika varma alternativ att välja bland.

Gick inte låsa dörren inifrån med vred. Sängen lite för mjuk för min smak (och vikt).

This is the second time I stayed at the hotel in the same trip after I came back from the Saronic Islands. I loved my stay at thr hotel. It is so clean, the room was so comfortable and the facilities were so good (always happy to see a kettle in a hotel room!). The service is fantastic at breakfast and the breakfast generally is very good with so many options. The location of the hotel is really good as it is so close to Monastiraki and the Monastiraki metro station. I was able to travel to Piraeus Port and the airport from this location so easily. I would stay here again if I visit Athens in the future. Efharisto!

The location is good: it’s not too crowded, yet only an 8-10 minute walk from the main streets. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are well-equipped but very small, especially the bathroom. The breakfast area feels a bit unwelcoming, and the variety of food is somewhat limited.

This is an AMAZING place to stay if you are visiting Athens. Very friendly staff, super clean, air conditioner, comfy bed, mini fridge, hair dryer and for a reasonable price. The breakfast is outstanding and a lovely addition to the stay. I stayed in the smallest room and found it to be plenty of space. If I ever come back to Athens I would definitely stay here again!

La posizione centrale, vicina ai trasporti pubblici, la colazione, varia e con possibilità di ordinare piatti preparati al momento, il letto comodo, la gentilezza e cortesia dello staff.

Il bagno un po' troppo piccolo, la porta della doccia non stava chiusa bene e quindi si bagnava tutto il pavimento, non essendoci il bidet c'era un doccino, che però non funzionava.

I stayed at Athens Market Portrait for one night and found it a great choice for a short stay in Athens. The hotel was very easy to get to from the metro, which made arriving and getting around the city really straightforward. The location was excellent, with plenty to see and do nearby, and the hotel was comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was served on the rooftop, which was a lovely way to start the day. The choice at breakfast was very good, with plenty of options available. I would definitely recommend Athens Market Portrait for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in central Athens.

Ich bin spät angereist, aber ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Auf meine Bitte früher frühstücken zu können wurde mir eine Lunchbox angeboten, obwohl es sehr kurzfristig war. Nach meiner Tour auf die Akropolis durfte ich nochmal im Hotel duschen, obwohl ich schon ausgecheckt war. Alle waren freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This was a really good place to stay in Athens. It was easy to get there from the airport by metro, and the hotel is a short walk away from Monastiraki station. It's in Psyri which has lots of cool bars and restaurants around. The hotel is located near the main places of interest and it was easy to walk around the city from there. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was good to have the mini fridge to keep water cool. The shower was really good. The breakfast is amazing! There are a lot of options to choose from as well as the buffet, which had a good selection of fruits, breads and pastries (including freshly made spinach pastries which were so good!). I really likes it here and i'm staying again for one more night when I go back to Athens :)

I wish there was some air or a fan in the bathroom, because the air felt quote stagnant in there. Apart from that, everything was perfect :)

La ubicación es centrica y te puedes mover caminando hasta la zona turística, también esta cerca el transporte público que te comunica con aeropuerto y Pireo. El desayuno completo, te hacen al momento una lista de platos calientes En recepción re dan todas las explicaciones que precisas, el servicio es bueno y todo esta limpio. Cada dia hay una botella de agua fría gratis en el refrigerador de la habitación.

La habitación es muy pequeña y nuestro baño diminuto, aunque con todo lo necesario. La entrada al hotel es una simple y pequeña puerta, que se pasa por alto al llegar.

I had the single vinnette room and for the price it was good value, obviously the room isn't huge, but it's nicely decorated/finished. Breakfast on the roof top also goes down well!!

Lift isn't the best. TV does not have loads of English channels.

Hotellet lå perfekt. Man kunne gå til alt. Restauranter, shopping gader og seværdigheder var lige rundt om hjørnet. Personalet var virkelig hjælpsomme hvis man havde brug for hjælp.

The water from the shower floor spreads under the shower screens & wets the bath mat every time you shower.

It is very well located in the centre of Athens within walking distance of the Acropolis. Breakfast was nice - a mix of cold cuts, cheeses and all sorts of pastries arranged buffet style and few selections of egg based breakfast options (omlettes and scrambled eggs with toppings) but you have to order them and it takes a few minutes for them to cook it. Depending how many people are at breakfast it can take a while because there is only one cook.

The room was smaller than I expected, but it's not... that big of a complaint, It was big enough to be comfortable for two people. But since it is in an old building, I guess it is to be expected. The view out the window is of another building on the other side. There's a tin roof down and condensation from AC units would drip on it, ringing in the space between buildings. It was less of a problem with the windows closed and our own AC turned on. For the ladies and contact lenses wearers - the bathroom sink is very small with very little counter space and it was a bit challenging to take off my contact lenses

The staff is always smiling and ready to help! Especially with luggage since there are about 10 stairs up to the reception. The single room was as advertised - small but comfortable for 1 person, with a nespresso machine and fridge. Strong AC.
