Hotel Katerina

Hotel Katerina is well situated right opposite a hop on and off bus line. The breakfast was basic but very delicious with a variety of cold meats and cheese and cereal. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The beds were rock hard and not comfortable at all.

Pues fui hace 10 años al mismo hotel con mi familia, y para bien o para mal no ha cambiado casi nada. Es decir, parece no haberse renovado nada, pero por algo volví, la atención del personal es excepcional, la ubicación muy buena y la relación calidad precio es tremenda

Realmente creo que se siente viejo, las instalaciones no se han restaurado, ademas la ubicación aunque es buena si hay mucha gente extraña alrededor no es que es atribuible directamente al Hotel

Die gute Lage zu Metro, 5-Tages-Ticket für alle Öffis 4,20 Euro. 2 gute Restaurants nearby, 1 Empfehlung vom Haus, auf dem Weg toller Vietnamese. Einfach, freundlich. Erstaunlich, wie eng alles ist, für uns als Paar hat es gut funktioniert, das Bett war erstaunlich breit und bequem. Auch die Aufzüge waren total eng (1-3 Personen, schmales Gepäck), aber gut funktionstüchtig, gutes Personal.

Kahvaltısı, kendine ait otoparkının olması ve otelin bulunduğu bölgenin gezilip görülecek yerlerine (Akropolis, Plaka) metro ile ulaşımın kolay olması çok iyi. Kahvaltı çeşitliliği çok güzel. Otel çalışanları çok kibar, yardımsever ve güler yüzlü insanlar. Otel odamız birinci katta olduğu için dışarının sesi biraz fazla geliyordu ancak yataklar rahattı. Kısacası oldukça iyi bir seçim Hotel Katerina.

Habitación muy pequeña,muy antiguo, pedimos cambiar el desayuno al día de llegada ya que llegamos muy temprano y nos íbamos el día de salida muy temprano y perdíamos el desayuno y no quisieron cambiarlo querían cobramos más dinero. El aire acondicionado muy antiguo no se puede regular si lo pones te congelas. La ropa de cama solo nos ponía la sábana bajera la de arrriba y colcha quitada nos la tendríamos que poner nosotros.

The lobby was nice that's it.

Room was small. Ask for one away from the street as noise will keep you up all night. Area was not really close by anything. Hotel front desk staff were very good. If it's a good deal take it otherwise look for a better located hotel

The hotel is in a good location for visiting the archeological museum and has free parking: we chose it for this reason for a one night stay. For the rest it is a very basic accommodation.

The room was very small and there were ants coming in from the balcony. Very noisy airco! In general, it is quite a dated structure requiring some renovation! Quite expensive for what it offers….

Hotel molto accogliente con un personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Colazione ottima. Molto consigliato anche per la posizione e vicinanza alla metro.

Aria condizionata della stanza non era molto regolabile. Andrebbe rinnovata. Quartiere attorno all'hotel è un po' degradato ma non pericoloso.

We loved the friendly service. The atmosphere was a plus, feeling welcoming and peaceful. Very clean and well maintained. This is such a beautiful, quaint hotel with lovely people and good breakfast options. We were also pleased with the AC.

Dobra vrijednost za novac. Pozicija jako blizu metroa; 10 min od centa grada (3 stanice metroom do Akropole). Doručak je izvrstan; osoblje jako ljubazno i uslužno. Imali smo obiteljsku sobu koja je bila povezana i zadovoljni smo. Sobe i hotel jesu mali i malo zastarjeli, ali čisti, krevewti udobni i tiho za spavati. Kupatila su isto manja ali čita i ručnika ima dovoljno.

Okolica hotela je problematična; nije problem u osvijetljenim ulicama (nije ni problem od metroa do hotela jer je blizu i osvijetljeno), ali u sporednim i mračnim ulicama ima dosta beskućnika i narkomana i nije ugodno tamo prolaziti ili zalutati.

מלון קטן ונקי מאוד. היינו רק ללילה אחד וזה הספיק בשביל להניח את הראש. החדרים מיושנים, והמיטות קפיציות וקטנות. ארוחת בוקר חמודה, לא היה חסר בה כלום. החניון קטן אך נוח וקרוב למלון. הצוות פותח את השער, כשצריך.

עיצוב מאוד מיושן, והחדרים קטנים. המזגן ישן ואין אפשרות לכוון טמפרטורה, באיזשבו שלב היה מאוד קר.

Nagyon közel van a metróhoz, így gyorsan el lehet jutni a nevezetességekhez. Kényelmesek az ágyak, finom a reggeli. A személyzet kedves, segítőkész.

A környék nem valami bizalomgerjesztő, sok a "sötét" alak.

Stanza pulita e bagno pulito. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Olive a buffet fantastiche e joghurt greco buonissimo 😋😋. Ci tornerei molto volentieri. Qualità/prezzo eccezionali 👍🏼

Das Hotel und das Frühstück

Die Lage ist zwar verkehrsgünstig, aber in einem wirklich unangenehmen Viertel. Drogen, Elend, Obdachlosigkeit, Verwahrlosung. Der Parkplatz ist zwar videoüberwacht, gegenüber sitzen aber zugedröhnte Personen. Wir haben uns innerhalb des Hotels aber sicher gefühlt.

We really enjoyed the breakfast. It was worth it and saved us a lot of hassle. We are a family of 4 and we had rooms 106 and 107 which are connecting rooms, each with their own bathrooms. This configuration was very practical. We also liked the balcony that allowed us to enjoyed nice air circulation.

The surrounding neighborhood was not posh like Plaka. It is more of a downtown feel, but the neighborhood has little gems like restaurant Mironi and coffe bar Dodici. Hopefully the area will continue to improve. The hotel is worth the stay and situated right next to the subway.

Coming home to Katerina every year, our base in Athens never disappoints. Very good location, nice and comfortable room, squeaky clean, good shower and secure parking. A very good restaurant ( Maroni) is nearby, which is also convenient. See you next year, thank you for everything!

Beds are clearly for the American tourists, too soft for us. An EV destination charger would be nice to have.

Enjoyed my stay very much. The room was reasonably spacious, comfortable and was kept very clean. Though the neighborhood around is not the best, I felt safe and the location was very convenient to quicly get anywhere else in Athens. I also appreciated the parking. The staff at the hotel was very pleasant and helpful, accommodating all my requests.

Adjoining rooms were great for a family stay. Very near metro station.

Parts of surrounding neighbourhood were a bit grim and seemed a bit rough. Rooms were very small.

長いギリシャ出張の最終日に泊ったホテルです。定刻前だったがチェックインでき、荷物を置いて最後の観光を楽しむことができ、非常に助かった。地下鉄の近くで便利。ひと昔前の豪華ホテルと思われる。お値段が安くてお得。近くに食料品店やレストランがあって便利。フロントで予約した、空港までのタクシーはドライバーが親切で、ホテルの印象がよくなった。

大きな問題はなかった。強いて挙げれば、エレベーターが狭いこと。

La atención del personal

Los alrededores eran un poco conflictivos. Teníamos que dar muchas vuelta para no pasar por ciertas calles.

Szép tiszta, hangulatos szálloda, pár nap tartózkodásra (5 napot voltunk) tökéletesen megfelelő. A személyzet kedves, segítőkész. Jó helyen van.

Sporedne uličice pored hotela nisu sigurne

V tomto hotelu bylo vše jak má být. Pěkný čistý pokoj kvalitní postelí, výkonnou klimatizací atd. Na snídani byl optimální výběr a personál byl špičkový. Hotel má hlídané parkoviště, za které nepožadoval žádný příplatek. Doporučuji vybrat apartmá junior a požádat hotel o číslo 702 v sedmém patře, které má obrovskou terasu s výhledem na město.

Hotel je v centru města, takže v okolí neustále hustý provoz a ruch. K Aténám to ale patří.

Excellent stay! We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our visit. The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel was spotless, and the level of cleanliness exceeded our expectations. The facilities were well maintained and very comfortable. The location was excellent, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area. An additional advantage was the free private parking, which made our stay even more convenient. The breakfast was outstanding, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended!

Il peesonale davvero cortese e di aiuto

Czysty pokój i łazienka. Codzienne sprzątanie i wymiana ręczników na prośbę. Miły personel. Bardzo dobre miejsce wypadowe na zwiedzanie Aten , a hałas za oknem zdecydowanie mniejszy niż na Placu Omonia. To był mój czwarty pobyt w tym hotelu i sprawnością wrócę.

Łóżko było bardzo twarde. Niby się można do tego przyzwyczaić, ale było zwyczajnie niewygodnie. W lodówce była tylko woda. Minibaru brak , chociaż w poprzednich latach nie było problemu gdy przyszła ochota na browarka ;) . Niedaleko jest kilka sklepów ale Okolica niezbyt sprzyja wieczornym spacerom po bocznych ulicach .

The room was spacious, the breakfast buffet was great, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. On-site parking was available, and the location was very central, about a 10-minute walk to the Plaka.

Everything was fine, except the two elevators were very cramped. Only one person with luggage or two people could use each elevator at a time.

היינו בחדר של 5 אנשים - חדר עם 3 מיטות יחיד ומיטה זוגית, שני חדרים מופרדים עם מבואה ודלת ראשית. אהבנו את הסידור של המיטות, המיקום היה קרוב לרכבת התחתית שזה היה מצוין. המקלחת הייתה טובה, זרם טוב ותמיד היה מים חמים לא משנה באיזה שעה. הצוות היה אדיב.

בשעות הערב המאוחרות והלילה יש המון חסרי בית באזור, לא נעים כל כך להסתובב בלילה. מעליות קטנות וקלסטרופוביות.

The hotel was easy to access by Metro and I took two guided tours out of the city that both had bus stops on the square where this hotel is, so from that perspective, it was very convenient. The breakfast was very nice and you can tell the women took pride in putting it out.

The location is convenient to transportation, but not much else. One morning, I walked to the Acropolis from the hotel, which is about a 40-minute walk and discovered that the neighborhood the hotel is in is actually quite dodgy. At 7am on a Sunday morning, the streets and sidewalks were full of trash and there were many homeless people and drug addicts living in the alleyways and sidewalks within 1-2 blocks of the hotel. (For the record, they did not disturb me, but it does suggest that this isn't the nicest area of town--less seasoned travelers may have been quite anxious) I booked last minute and was looking for something affordable, so from that regard, it suited me fine, but if you're coming on your once-in-a-lifetime dream trip to Athens, you might want to splurge on something a little closer to the pedestrian areas.

Owner was very rude and shouted at a group of 4 of us for having bikes in boxes. 3 out of 4 of this group had mentioned this already when booking which was accepted . All 4 of us quickly moved hotel .

המלון עלה לי 80 יורו .לדעתי זה מאד יקר למה שמקבלים . ואם 2 בחדר צריך להוסיף 25 יורו על מה על כלום זו גניבה .ללא אוכל בבוקר זה עוד 12 יורו לאדם. יש מלונות באירופה שמשלמים על חדר לא משנה אם יחיד או 2 אנשים אותו מחיר .וארוחת בוקר משלמים לפי מיספר סועדים. אם 1 או אם 2
