Comfort Inn Cambridge - Highway 401

The Room had a smell to it so I turned off the AIrcon and opened a window and then all I could smell was weed from outside. Was unable to connect to the Wi-Fi.

Better WiFi and cheaper price.

It was overall nice hotel to stay in. We didn't really use any facilities in the hotel, everything was good, beds were comfortable, bath was clean.

The carpet in the hotel and especially in the room didn't have a good smell even though the hotel is absolutely non smoking.

The hotel is next to highway, it was very noisy, could not sleep. The pictures of the room on booking.com are not accurate, the bathroom was very dated, not renovated as shown in pictures.

People should be informed that the facility does not have an elevator and they have to carry their luggage to upstairs.

Didn't know that there was no elevator. Had I known, would have asked for a room on first floor. We managed somehow.

Staff were amazing! Friendly and helpful! Room was clean, hallways and stairwells could have uses a little extra attention in the nooks and corners but not awful. I did not have a chance to eat their breakfast but it smelled good!!

I didn't get off to a great start as I was flustered by driving in the city. 'I live in northern ontario" anyways, I couldn't find my confirmation number with booking.com and thought my name would be good enough...but was asked to pay again because he could not find my reservation and payment, said I should check with my card company to see if the payment went through , which it did. So I went back to the desk to explain it had and they deleted the second payment and were very nice about it. The rest went well and I enjoyed the stay, although I kinda panicked about paying twice at first.

I wish they would of had my name in the computer and that I paid through booking .com as after driving so far and not used to city driving I was overwhelmed when I arrived and would of been nicer if he saw my reservation for 2 nights. I loved the food and the staff were great, very nice location, close to food and exits. I felt appreciated and really enjoyed my stay in Cambridge ! Breakfast was excellent although the toaster was not working, coffee was good . Thanks for everything !

The room could have been cleaner.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was quiet and in a good location next to a lot of stores. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful.

its a great location to get to places when visiting Cambridge. We had a wedding to attend to and it was in a perfect location - 15 minutes within range

Easy to find and convenient. Clean room, friendly staff.

Parking lot was lined full of cigarette butts. I prefer real coffee cups and eating utensils and plates. The floor near the breakfast bar was dirty. Attendant could’ve taken a quick broom ti the floor.

Girl at the counter had additude. Traveled 9000km with no issue using a credit card supplied from my boss, her straight away said nope have a good day. Instead of helping g or making any recommendations it was a straight nope. Booked with booking.com and got the room for cheaper than she was willing to offer it for.

Efficient check-in. Clean room. Microwave and fridge. The facility was clean and quiet. We had a good night's sleep. We would definitely book the hotel again.

It wasn't a deal breaker, but the breakfast room was small, fortunately it wasn't busy when we were there, but I would not want eat there on a busy day. The breakfast quality was not great - we found enough to get by: tea, yogurt, and an orange.

The room smelled, the people beside us had a dog, and at 1am the poor dog was howling, they were in their car smoking. After an hour I called the front desk, which resulted in nothing!!! I had to get dressed and go down there. The girl was o her phone in the eating area, I made her get up and actually watch her call the room. She was rude! I wasn't offered any compensation at all. Worst experience ever!!

Bed was very comfy and room was clean. Great to have a fridge.

A male desk staff member gave a woman who showed up unannounced a key card to my room, without even accounting for her identification. She could have been anyone and I didn't give any permission to her or the hotel. I think anyone would agree this is ridiculous behaviour for a hotel, she could have stolen all my IDs and credit cards, luckily she was a friend who just needed a room, decided she's staying with me, and didn't check with me first, dropped my name and got immediate access to my room. Also breakfast ends early for late risers, especially on new year's day.

The hotel is dated, needs renovation. Pet hair on the carpet. Not a hotel I would stay again or refer.

Staff offered us a free room upgrade. I'm not sure how nice the rest of the hotel is, but our room was great.

I paid a security deposit however your staff initially refused to give me a receipt because I booked through an app. If you are taking my money for a security deposit I deserve a detailed receipt in case there are complications. I am not satisfied. It seems you wish to penalize those who do not deal directly with you.

Room was clean and quiet. Hotel was close to everything. Ample parking too.

'Breakfast' left a bit to be desired. But there are actual restaurants across the street which are accessible.

The staff were exceptional. The rooms were very well cleaned. The front desk guys were amazing. They would take their time to explain to you if you are having any questions.
