What a beautiful boutique hotel. Stylish, modern, charming rooms with a gorgeous pool oasis. The hotel itself is in a fabulous location. Its in walking distance to everything you would want in Sanur including the beach, which is just a short leisurely stroll away. The staff are unbelievable, so helpful, so thoughtful and very friendly. Yes definitely a perfect place to stay on this side of Bali.

Le personnel était vraiment aux petits soins, très souriant. Les chambres étaient rapidement nettoyées et très bien. Le café Akaya est super bon et le petit déjeuner compris est vraiment un + très appréciable.

Pour un hôtel à Bali et la zone dans laquelle il est, le prix est assez élevé, mais l’hôtel est très beau et proche de la mer et des commerces

For the price, Akaya was a nice small hotel. The staff were friendly. The pool was clean and the location was great. A good amount of storage and good aircon. The location is excellent, so close to the beach and good restaurants.

The bed was extremely unconformable. The hot water took a good 3 minutes. My room was tired with marks and stains. The breakfast was okay but very average compared to the actual cafe menu. I also got the room next to the staff/cleaners room. It was noisy and I had workers walking past my room constantly - so it did not feel private and had to keep my blinds closed at all times.

The room was stuffy and the aircon was noisy and had a bright light on the temperature number that made it hard to sleep .

Rooms a little be small and dated

The room was very clean, shower had hot water with good pressure and the beds were comfy. The bfast at the local cafe nearby was also pretty good and filling. Loved the location nearby the beach walk and the pool was very clean.

Akaya was a lovely hotel. Room was spotless and bed very comfortable. It had a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were lovely and friendly, especially Opi. She was exceptional.

Fabulous staff. Loved Opi and her team. The food at cafe was excellent and everything we needed was nearby - spas, restaurants, beach.

The location is great, with plenty of restaurants to choose from (we recommend Rue Bali, delicious food). Breakfast was delicious, it’s a menu you can choose from. The staff is very friendly.

L'hotel si trova oltre un negozio di diving, il che gli permette di essere più isolato dal caos delle macchine, visto che è situato sulla strada principale. Il punto forte dell'hotel sono le colazioni, vasta scelta e ampie portate. Personale gentile, ci ha fatto lasciare una valigia per 2 notti nel loro deposito.

The location was good.

This was our second stay but we were very disappointed as the room we were given was stuffed up the back corner with no outside view. It was like staying in a closet. It was clean but not a nice room as no outside area to sit. Staff were not very friendly this stay. We won't come back which is disappointing

Nice little hotel in colonial style at Sanur‘s busiest street. Rooms are well designed, service is impeccable, staff is very friendly. Can be noisy in the evenings due to live music in nearby bars.

I really liked the homely feel about this boutique hotel, because it's not a giant resort. The staff are really lovely, and I like the chill out lounge area they have. The cafe attached to the hotel, the food was yum . You also receive a complimentary platter of fruit on arrival to enjoy.

Bed a little hard

De locatie is echt top! Je kunt te voet naar het strand lopen. Even de straat over naar rechts en dan leidt 1 straatje je rechtstreeks naar het strand. De straat zelf is super gezellig met veel winkels en restaurants.

De var lidt lang til om at komme med morgenmaden - og havde ikke helt styr på bestillingerne ! Men morgenmaden var super lækker, da den endelig kom.

The pool was amazing - the rooms were fresh and very clean and modern, great location and value for money to. Close to restaurants, beach and massage places.

The lady that checked us in was rude (I've not meet the same experience in Bali ever). She made us feel unwelcome and was generally fake (again only our experience). The male that checked us out was super. Unfortunately the cafe that provided the breakfast out the front of the hotel included in our stay (which was very popular may I add - we had 3 hairs in our food and felt unwell both times after eating there (just our experience). Their orange juice and service was very good. Rooms were a little small for us with our suitcases.

This is our third stay at Akaya Bali. We have only ever stayed for 1 or 2 nights while passing through but really like it. Rooms and are modern, clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a good location with everything nearby. The pool is also very nice with comfortable sun loungers. Staff are really nice and very helpful, letting us store luggage for a few days. There is a cafe attached to the hotel which is brilliant, very good food and a great selection for breakfast. Would recommend.

Great little boutique hotel, not beach front but only a short walk to the beach. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants straight outside the door. Staff were amazing, very friendly. Onsite cafe served great fresh foods.

Tiny little niggle, the onsite dive shop use the pool for training, so pool space limited sometimes. Interesting to watch though.

The location is great. Close to shops, restaurants, laneway to the beach, money changers. Set back just enough to reduce road and traffic sounds a little. Pool was clean, plenty of recliner chairs to accommodate most rooms.

Didn’t realise there was a dive team using the pool on some days. But we worked around this. Rooms were light at night. A blockout curtain that crossed over door would’ve been brilliant to fix this. Door trims would reduce light, sound and improve air conditioning use. The light on air conditioning unit was oh so bright at night!

It was clean & tidy, & the location to the beach & promenade was quite good. The pool looked inviting but we didn't have time to make use of it. I enjoyed Sanur but would consider an alternative hotel if I was staying for more than 1 night.

Located on a busy road.

Lovely room and staff, great breakfast and Cafe on-site who were happy to bring meals and drinks to the pool/room if required. Felt safe and secure, Room was clean and bed was sooo comfortable

Can be noisy at times as rooms are all facing a courtyard, but that is just the nature of the way the property is set up. Great for couples and solo travellers, not so much for families with children.

A bit of road-noise and we could hear the live music next door until about 10pm.

Everything! Cold fridge, great AC, clean room and bathroom, grounds beautiful, so quiet but close to everything. Breakfast was amazing value...staff are so friendly. Nice sitting area around the pool. Dive school only present one day out of 5 that we were there and didn't disrupt the pool use at all! Check in/out was smooth. We'll definitely return!
