Friendly clean and extremely well located near good restaurants and a short walk to the sanur beach

Rooms were mostly small and the breakfast area was quite limited, but I didn’t have a breakfast to assess but for value and location it was recommended

Great staff and smaller amount of people with a comfortable bed in a nice neighbourhood .Clean rooms with a lovely entrance and quite considering a throughfare to the beach.Access to main street and beach was excellent.

Maybe bi carbonate and vingear can remove small amount of mould in batheroom ,understand bleach is big no no on the island and humdity is high but that combination might remove it.Note the bathroom was clean,this is only old housekeeping trick advice not a rating.

Minimalist breakfast

Great for the price - location is great, only a short walk to the beach and JL Danau Tamblingan, so plenty of nearby options for food / drinks etc. Plenty of room out front for parking bikes / scooters if needed. Room including bathroom are spacious enough - air conditioning worked great, and the fridge although small kept things cold. Breakfast was basic but good, better than the offering I've had elsewhere when breakfast was included.

The room felt a bit dated, and smelt REALLY strongly of moth balls (a smell I cannot stand) - couldn't figure out what the smell was at first, it was only when packing up to leave that I discovered a pile of moth balls scattered underneath the bed. This was one of the smaller budget rooms - whereas the larger rooms at the end of the property were much newer, cleaner, and better presented (my friend stayed in one at the same time)... it almost felt like the smaller rooms had been "let go" at the expense of the larger rooms.

Such great location. Staff are wonderful and helpful. Room is functional and clean. I actually had a great sleep here. Room 8 was nice and quiet.

The property is tidy and clean. The rooms have air con, English channels on a flat screen , mini fridge, hot water and decent water pressure. The pool was clean and cool. Prices for drinks at reception are excellent. All the staff were pleasant. The property is in an excellent position with warungs to the left and right. You can stroll along the beachfront walkway or catch a Bemo for $1 on Jalan Danau Tamblingan

The pool could do with a handrail and it had some scooter noise from the road but it was hardly noticeable.

Fantastic Location and friendly staff, lovely pool.

The room was very dark and tired, needing a good clean, dishes were dirty and toothpaste splatter on the mirror. The bed squeaked every time you moved. Needs a bit of paint and update.

The staff is smiling and friendly

The bed was very smelly I couldn’t sleep in the bed at all and changed hotel. It is very basic like a backpacker place and noisy (pub with live music next door).

I booked one of the studios (number 6), which was spacious and away from the road. Basic but comfortable and the location is great, you can walk everywhere. Staff were very friendly. Comfortable bed.

Shower facilities could have been better and kitchen could do with an upgrade.

Die Betreiber waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig, mit voll ausgestatteter Küche mit Wasserspender, TV, großes Bad und bequemes Bett. Auch die Lage war super, ruhig und nur wenige Meter zum Strand.

Die Zimmer liegen nah beieinander, so dass man immer die Vorhänge schließen musste. Das Frühstück war sehr schlicht. Die Fahrräder leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Wifi was poor

Always a great transit option for us when coming and going to Denpasar. Alot of the fave restaurants are gone at the beach end but I hope they'll be built back better than ever with development going on. Bliss spa so handy too and all the benefits of Sanur within an easy walk or Grab. Lovely guys wanting to help you.

Pool needs some cleanliness attention. Very aware it's the end of dry season and high season so perhaps just timing.

Mould in bathroom

Fantastic location, beach is just at the end of the road. On street parking for bikes and cycle rental available. Sanur is good for boat trips, beaches, not so good for shopping unless you’re looking for high street brands in which case icon mall is brand new and full of those. Staff were kind and welcoming. We had an issue with our first room in that the aircon was leaking, shower wouldn’t turn off completely and the room had a strong smell of chemicals which made us both feel unwell and we had to sleep with the windows and door open. The staff came and inspected immediately (even though it was 2300) and apologised they couldn’t move our room due to being full but moved our room the next day. The second room was clean, facilities were dated but working and we felt they had done the most they could to find solutions for us. I would recommend this home stay for a budget friendly stay close to the beach.

So close to beautiful beach, promenade and cafes/bars over the water. Very handy to commercial area too. Staff really efficient and pleasant. Pool even better than photos.

Not our first visit! Duyung home stay is a quiet little gem... simple clean well located and still a bargain.They even offer a simple included breakfast however we love to have breakfast along the foreshore only about 3 minutes walk away

The bathroom had a noticeable mildew smell, and the water in the shower also had an unpleasant odour. The shower itself felt more like a mist, with very low pressure and no hot water. The ceiling fans were also in need of a thorough clean. Room 6

Ottima posizione, a pochi metri dal mare. Abbiamo preso un monolocale con cucina. Pulito e fornito di tutto. I ragazzi dello stafg sono stati gentili.

L'emplacement est vraiment top: près de la plage, ses activités et ses restaurants. Les lits sont très confortables. Le personnel très gentil.

L'équipement de la salle de bain est un peu trop sommaire (Il n'y avait rien pour poser la trousse de toilette.). Elle avait besoin d'être rafraîchi, mais vu le prix de la nuit, je ne m'attendais pas à du grand luxe non plus. Ça reste un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Great location for being central to many things and very close to the beach.

The noise of the motorbikes gets funnelled in towards the rooms. Rooms directly face each other, so not very private.

Location is really good for a budget option. It was quiet in larger end rooms. Small homestay with only about 12 rooms. The pool is lovely and clean. The larger rooms with basic kitchen have free drinking water. That was such a bonus. The smaller rooms also have free drinking water available at the reception area. The young men that run the place are so lovely. Easy walking distance to everything you need. Bikes are available for hire also. Great eateries everywhere. A great budget option is Osea very nearby. We ate there a lot .

The bathroom was very average. I had to give it a good scrub to feel ok using it. Crockroaches will appear if you don't cover the drains with something! Beds are very hard! Mould coming through the walls in some areas. All this is very common when staying at budget options. You get what you pay for. If none of this bothers you too much, you will have a great stay. We would stay again.

Room needs to be cleaned under the bed. Mould in the bathroom needs to be cleaned. Bed was uncomfortable and very noisy.

Sehr sehr freundliches und hilfsbereiten Personal. Die Anlage ist klein und schnuckelig und die Lage super, zu Fuß 3 Minuten zum Strand und alles was man braucht in Laufweite.

Es gab ein paar unschöne Flecken im Zimmer, das ist aber hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit geschuldet und lässt sich nicht vermeiden.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The location was very convenient, especially because it is close to the airport. After a long journey, this made our arrival much easier. What impressed us the most was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. They welcomed us late at night when our flight arrived, always kept our room spotless, and created a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The guest house was wonderfully quiet, which allowed us to relax completely. The pool was another highlight — beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. We spent a lot of our time there and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are especially grateful to the staff for helping us with a very important issue during our trip. Their support came at exactly the right moment, and without their help we could have faced a serious financial loss. We will always remember their kindness and willingness to help. Another thing we loved was the location. There are plenty of cafés, souvenir shops, and spa salons within walking distance, making it easy to relax, explore the area, and enjoy the local atmosphere. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. I would happily recommend this guest house to my friends and family, and I would love to stay here again in the future.

We honestly don't have any suggestions for improvement. Considering the type of accommodation, everything was excellent. The staff, cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere, and overall hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. We would gladly come back again.

In the room you could have signs explaining how to seperate rubbish (Organic from other) to help tourists understand how to help with Bali's waste problem.

Breakfast could be served earlier. Many booked activities in Bali all start before breakfast was ready so I never got it.

Uitstekende locatie, rustig straatje tussen het strand en n straat met veel restaurants en winkeltjes. Ruime kamer.

Badkamer had hygiënischer gekund, het bed kraakt enórm bij elke kleine beweging.

Great value in a terrific part of Sanur, just 3 minutes walk to the beach. The studio room was huge and equipped with a small kitchen. The aircon was effective and the wifi worked well most of the time. The bed was firmer than I prefer, but good quality and spotlessly clean.
