Location was great and the breakfast wow

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Carlton Capri. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and located in a quieter part of Venice, away from some of the busiest tourist areas. My room had a small balcony overlooking picturesque Venetian buildings, which added a lot of charm to the experience, although there was no water view. The location is especially convenient if you are arriving in Venice by train or bus. I arrived by bus at Piazzale Roma, the final bus stop in Venice, and the hotel is fairly close from there. However, travelers with heavy or multiple pieces of luggage should be aware that reaching the hotel requires crossing two bridges with stairs. There are luggage porters available around Piazzale Roma who can assist for a fee, which was approximately €20 or more depending on the amount of luggage. Once you get past the bridges, the hotel is not very far, although it is slightly off the main path and can be a little tricky to find the first time. Most of Venice’s well-known attractions, including Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, are approximately a 20–25 minute walk from the hotel. You can also use the vaporetto to get around, but I chose to walk everywhere and found it to be a great way to experience Venice and explore the city along the way. The service throughout my stay was very good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, I appreciated the cleanliness, peaceful location, beautiful surroundings, and convenient access to Piazzale Roma. I would recommend Hotel Carlton Capri, particularly for travelers arriving by bus or train, but I would definitely plan ahead if traveling with heavy luggage.

Hotel idéalement placé, à 10 min ) pied de la gare ou du terminal des bus (juste le grand canal à traverser), et à 5 minutes des premiers canaux et ruelles typiques (San Giorgio, Dorsoduro); excellente base pour visiter venise à pied ou en voporetto, et au calme; grande chambre, lit confortable; excellent petit déjeuner; service très sympa et pro; cher mais tout est cher à Venise , encore plus en période de festival!

Staff charged me twice for city tax. Have sent complaint to hotel. They asked me a receipt, but didn’t have it a time. I have filed complaints after finding electronic copy.

L'hotel è bellissimo difronte alla stazione in una zona fuori dall'orda dei turisti ma comoda per gli spostamenti. Hotel pulitissimo ottima colazione e personale molto gentile e cordiale . Abbiamo avuto un problema con la vasca e la mattina seguente ci hanno dato un altra stanza! Torneremo sicuramente.

Very nice hotel and very conveniently located. Helpful and wonderful staff.

We had a medium size room with a double bed and although no bathtub, we had a small balcony which was pleasant. Air conditioning worked very well and the hotel was very quiet, clean and peaceful. It's just like staying at our usual hotel ( Carlton on the Grand Canal) but smaller .

Сподобалось все: невеличкий, не шумний готель, зручне розташування, 5 хвилин пішки від залізничного вокзалу, дуже тихий квартал, прості і гарні сніданки, смачна кава і дуже клієенорієнтоване обслуговування. Якщо треба дістатись в інший район чи на острови, то так само: біля вокзалу одразу розташовані причали. В номері є кондиціонер, телевізор (якщо це важливо), wifi на території готелю. Найкращі рекомендації!

Convenient walk from the train station; great location. Appreciate them holding our room given the Austrian Night Jet train delays. We felt very welcome by the staff. Comfortable room, the air conditioning was wonderful. Enjoyed the breakfast!

L'hotel è situato proprio di fronte la stazione S. Lucia, posizione favorevolissima per gli spostamenti con i vaporetti, . La struttura è ben curata, con ottima pulizia, ordine e personale molto professionale.

Wc troppo vicino al vetro del box doccia. La tapparella della stanza non andava giù del tutto.

The room was extremely small and there was a lot of humidity, which made the stay less comfortable. Everything else was very good, and the staff were extremely helpful, even assisting us with printing and scanning. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very poor - some of the food tasted sour and the pancakes seemed spoiled.

Petit déjeuner j’ai trouvé des petites bête au dessous du plat de croissants qui donne ps envie de manger même la qualité c’était des croissants qu’on peut les acheter dans les grandes surfaces dans leur emballage même pas de boulangerie petit déjeuner médiocre .

The bed was really comfy. Apart from that I left after the first night. Couldn’t stand the stifling strong smell of bleach in the room. Seemed to be coming from the ac unit but couldn’t be sure.

Just got weird vibes. The guy at the check in desk couldn’t understand why I was travelling on my own and questioned me about it (as a lone female traveller it was a bit of a red flag). The location is the opposite side of the canal to the train station which is fine but you have to cross the big bridge to get the vaporetto and your bags, so I didn’t love the location. The room was tiny- even for me on my own I struggled with where to put my things. There was also blood stains on the bedding so I ended up sleeping under the sheet. I’ve stayed in Venice multiple times and wouldn’t stay here again. As mentioned, I was meant to stay for 3 nights and left after the first (I booked a hotel on Lido which turned out to be incredible!). When I checked out they didn’t bat an eyelid. Must be a common occurrence!

Hübsches antikes Zimmer mit goldener Bettdecke.🙂 Die Klima war zwar laut hat aber gut funktioniert - wirklich toll!! Abends war alles schön ruhig. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Würde jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel auswählen 🙂

a localizacao e excelente. Foi ótimo poder deixar as malas no hall do hotel após o check out e a facilidade da portaria 24h, duas características que influenciaram minha decisão ficar neste hotel. O café da manhã tem um bom custo benefício. A cama era boa e tudo estava limpo.

地理位置确实很好，一下火车站过桥走五分钟就到了，对于带大件行李的我们很方便。空调开的很足。

门卡钥匙太沉太重了…我们入住的房间里面的浴室是一个倾斜面。洗澡或者洗脸时不注意有些水会渗到卧室里面去。小冰箱里面的饮料和早餐都是付费的，要注意。前台接待人员有点皮笑肉不笑的感觉，总感觉怪怪的。
