Reviewed Sep 18, 2026I slept well in the bed. I wasn't waking up every couple hours. The temperature for sleeping was right on. The breakfast was good and plentiful.
The patio doors need attention, they weren't opening and closing very well.

The room smelled really bad when I walked in. And the carpet was wet. I mentioned it to the front desk and they were really nice. Sent someone in to fix the problem but all they did was spray a ton of room spray. It honestly made it worse and the carpet was still soaked.

They had us switch rooms at 9pm, due to a faulty tv/cable box. The second room was on a different floor. Patio doors were stuck, unable to slide open properly. The bottom of the tub was filthy, and very noticeable grime/soap ring around the entire thing (clearly had been sometime since a proper cleaning had been done). Couldn’t use. No soap for washing hands. Room had a stale/sour odour. Paid almost $300 for a room that we couldn’t even shower in, and no compensation/discount offered for any of the inconveniences.

You don’t clean the rooms daily. This was not told to us when we checked in. The whole point of staying at a hotel is that we don’t have to make our own bed and we get fresh towels every day. Very disappointing.

The towels we’re terribly thin and the towels are not refreshed daily. I don’t mind the bed not being changed but I do expect clean towels daily.

There were fruit flies in my room which were pretty annoying. The room was very stuffy, even with the air on and smelt musty. I had to go purchase air freshener to make the stay more pleasant.

The room had a bit of a smell. Not sure if they allow smoking in rooms. Screen door was ripped … we wanted to leave the sliding door open for more fresh air. Would have been better if the screen door was intact.

They gave us a double bed when we paid for a queen. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. The room was dirty and had bugs in it. The ad stated that there was a breakfast included and there was not.

Shower was terrible. Breakfast was small, even for a continental beeakfast. There was no juice in the breakfast room. Food was not good. I don't think I ate anything. DoorDash was my friend.

I complained to head office who took no accountability and brushed me off telling me to call booking. Whereas booking.com staff was pleasant- they "filed a complaint" on my behalf. Nothing was done - nothing was refunded & I never heard back from anyone
