The location

the place and the furniture was old, whenever I use Booking site I never receive my receipt and I have to search for it or request it.

we had dinner at the restrant and was fablous staff was very friendly and pleaseing

we didn;t like that we were soclose to the entrance door, it was very loud with people coming & going all the time there was a few times that it felt like they were opening our door, thats the only complaint we had

Nice pool, big rooms. Reasonably close to Port Dover, Long Point and supermarkets.

The sauna was broken (barely hot). The vending machines only accept coins (not even bills!) It’s technically independent from the hotel, but the restaurant inside it, it’s very slow to serve. Avoid if you’re in a rush or you just don’t want to spend an hour + having breakfast.

Clean, quiet, mostly as advertised though there was some confusion as to whether breakfast was included (third party may have been to blame for misinformation). Staff that we dealt with both in motel and restaurant were friendly and helpful.

Amenities like soap/shampoo/glasses/ coffee /tea were a bit lacking though more would probably have been available if we had asked. Price was ok but not exceptional.

This place has great facilities and well located in Simcoe, BUT ...

The rooms were damp. Dry items put out became damp. The air conditioning was run at all times and we ran the bathroom fan continuously during our stay. Hotel staff shrugged their shoulders when told - nothing could be done about it. We travel a lot - this is the dampest place we have ever stayed.

Staffs were excellent and ready to assist. Very decent location too, accessible to most conveniences you’ll be needing.

Would be nice to have an elevator because I stayed on the upper floors and had lots of luggages.

The bed was way too soft! Very difficult to move in the bed. The bathroom taps were tricky - opposite to what we're used to.

Better cleaning

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Room was extremely clean and beds and pillows very comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Would definitely stay here again.

It was clean and comfortable.

The guests above us were very loud. They started at 6:30 am. But otherwise it was good.

Very conveniently located. Loved the sauna and the pool. Staff were awesome. Easy parking well maintained.

Pillows were not great but the bed was very comfortable. There was no shampoo/conditioner/ soap in the pool area or change room shower. However it was provided in the room.

My daughter stayed here for a week during her hospital rotation. The place was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, which made her stay even better. She’ll be returning again next week, and we’ve already booked her stay here again.

The breakfast was great in the restaurant next to the hotel (not complementary). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and responded promptly to guest requests.

The shower took a long time to get hot. It would have been nice to have tea bags available in the room as well as coffee.

Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Shower was great. TV was bigger than you find in most hotels. Decent amount of channels.

Nothing. everything was great.

The bed was comfortable enough. The room seemed clean, but the colour and type of décor made it hard to tell, and the last thing you want to do is bust out a black light to check or start swabbing the place if you want to have a restful sleep. Ignorance is bliss on this front.

The hallway smelled funny, not sure if it was some kind of air freshener or...? I did not have a computer or tablet with me so I cannot rate the wifi. The TV channel line up sucked, nothing good on, but that may be more of a commentary on modern TV than basic cable or satellite services.

The upgraded rooms, old but updated and clean and ac was running great. The staff was just right of service, assertively nice.

My son was wakened in the night by noise from suite above Party time I guess. Other wise a pleasant stay and close to everything. Sauna door needs work. Very hot handle Older facility but well maintained and restaurant was good

Sad that the restaurant wasn’t open but it was Christmas holidays.

The location was good and the room was clean.

The toilet in our room did not function well. The first morning (boxing day) the restaurant was closed. The second morning we had breakfast there and it was not good.

No breakfast included. There is a restaurant attached but it’s always nice to just have a light breakfast included.

The smell of Marijuana was very strong throughout the hallway, at the entrance and in my room. Very irritating

Staff and service was prompt and friendly - nothing wrong with that. The hotel though is very outdated and felt dark and dank with a musty smell.

Room was clean and reasonably updated, bed was comfortable with extra pillows. Heater/air conditioner was easy to use and worked well and quiet.

Sink in bathroom was cracked (but still usable, just doesn’t look nice), no freezer compartment in mini fridge

I don’t know how you charge someone for a room that was booked by mistake and you won’t do a refund. It’s robbery

The staff were very, very friendly and helpful. Had an issue when we first admitted that the room smelled both musty and of marijuana. (The power in the area had been off, so air conditioning had not been on, and the room was near where there was a picnic table and people smoked.) That room was not ideal for a family. The staff quickly moved us when we complained. The hotel is clean, although very dated in terms of appearance. The kids enjoyed the pool. The restaurant was great. Breakfast was excellent, as were the wings. Became our first choice to eat at as we were in the area for a week. The hotel served our purpose for our trip. Enough fast food and even a bowling alley we went to in the immediate area.

It was fine for an overnight stay.
