Cheveux/poils dans la douche, le savonnier encore gommé, serviette tachée . Pas de ventilateur dans la douche. Décevant…

We always like this property. We there are quite often. I’m so glad they have the new restaurant that they open in January. The food was great.

The staff were very accommodating always smiling and very helpful.

We had to wait for a very long time for our food at breakfast. I'm sure there was only 1 waitress & I believe she was also helping with food prep & waiting on the whole restaurant. They put onions on my husband's potatoes & forgot the cheese on both

We went to visit some farm markets this spring, and booked a room. The room with jetted tub was available for the weekend, we cancelled and booked elsewhere after checking in seeing the state of disrepair. The pictures on their website are clearly dated compared to new build hotels condo style buildings on the 403/401 corridor, and things don't seem to get repaired until they break so badly they can't be repaired. The furniture is a bit beaten up, and the sofa and chairs are badly faded and bothered my dust allergy. The carpets are dirty and have many rips and tears. The pictures of the 1 King Jetted Tub room show a small shower stall and a hot tub side-by-side. The on the wall hair dryer in beige looks yellowed and brown, along with the plugs. Not romantic to have a toilet next to the hot tub. It was built in 1989. It subsequently underwent a major renovation in 2016. I don't think the standards are high here, you can make a pretty lobby but if the rooms aren't kept up it makes the stay questionable. Ten years is a long time for a reno in this industry. This place fills up quickly because of sports tournaments in the summer, not much choice here in town. You will be disappointed. If you need to stay, bring your pillow from home and enjoy the outdoor pool if you can.

The new restaurant. Breakfast was very good. Many restaurants within walking distance. Nice pool.

Rooms were a DUMP. We had stayed there previously and booked based on that experience. Booked a month in advance. Were stuck in old part of hotel. Rooms are dark and dingy. Paint badly chipped on all trim. Desk and closet trim badly scratched. A/C was so loud we could not run it at night. Sink drains didn't drain properly. DO NOT stay here unless they guarantee a room in new part of hotel.

Room, bed, gross smell to water, very bad view ( side of a muddy house) no fan in the bathroom, cant open the windows.

Front desk staff was very friendly and courteous.

There was excessive noise coming from the unit beside us which lasted until late in the morning. Also, we were told we would be receiving a $50 credit for our next stay but we didn't receive it.

The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, check in was easy and the person at the front desk who's name I unfortunately can't remember was SUPER nice. The room was very cheap and my expectations were greatly exceeded.

If I had to nit pick, the front parking lot was full so I had to park in the back to carry all my stuff in. Perhaps I could have stopped out front temporarily to do this and make the trips shorter, but I'm not the kind of person that would jam up the parking lot for my convenience lol.

Staff were friendly and helpful. No breakfast included, seasonal pool (outdoor). Walking distance to good Italian restaurant.

No free breakfast! The hotel is old and in need of updating. The pillows are flat and uncomfortable. The breakfast is at extra charge and u only get to choose from the 3 different shaded areas on on small menu. The food is average. They say free coffee 24 hours but when I awoke early after asking for a blanket at front desk the coffee was old.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The location was good to base myself from for my reason for visiting the area.

I was disappointed that the pool closed a week earlier than advertised on booking.com. When I raised this with the staff they told me that booking.com were told it closed on 2 Sept and not 9 Sept. Having the outdoor pool available for my daughter was the main reason I chose this hotel over the nearby Travelodge so it was disheartening that my toddler missed out on nearly a week of playing in the pool.

We enjoyed a nice 2 night stay at this property, the staff was great, it was clean. The only downside I had was I booked a queen room and we had a double bed. It made for a little bit of an uncomfortable sleep.

A very well-located hotel, interesting architecture. The room was spacious and clean, as it also was the washroom. Furniture in good shape and comfortable. The heated outdoor pool, gym and free parking a great value. We were offered free breakfast on first day. That was a misunderstanding. I woke up my son so we wouldn't miss the convenience of the free breakfast. But that was a mistake. Just tea, coffee, yogurt and cereals should be called free snacks, not "breakfast". We went for breakfast somewhere else after that.

The person at the desk was kind and polite. Answered our questions. Our bathroom was a little small, but the shower/tub was good. Bed was comfortable, but when we turned on the tv it was hard to find the regular channels. But other than that we would come back and let our friends know about Best Western.

The room we stayed in smelled like mold and mildew, by the morning my lungs were having hard time, couldn't wait to get out, no free breakfast this is not the usual BW excellent service we enjoy

Property was very relaxing and quite, but could benefit from some property upgrades and including breakfast within the amount charged.

Location was great and close to the hospital and the downtown area. The outdoor pool was a great temperature and the rooms were very comfortable.

It'a a little dated but a good stay for the price.

All that was made available in the location and the room itself was quite nice and made our stay enjoyable for the short period we were there.

It would have been nice to have better pictures of the grounds, better clarity on pool and hot tub access, and it was regrettable that for the price paid on such a short stay that a breakfast the next day wasn't actually included. The online Booking.com listing seemed to indicate it would be part of the purchase but onsite information said that it only pertained to Mondays when a bagged breakfast is available. We found this somewhat misleading as having a meal included the next day was why we chose this site over a competitor, and though the price for the meal was highly reasonable the feeling of being misled while we made our stay selection was very displeasing.

Pool was not open even though they said will be open nexd day on the arrival. Toilets paper were missing i needed to go in the lobby to take out myself

Very comfortable hotel with friendly service. Very clean room, inviting private heated pool. Front desk went out of their way to make sure I knew about accessible parking. Overall a good ambiance and I would definitely stay again.

Bed was small and uncomfortable. For the price we paid, breakfast should have been included as it was not that great a hotel. It was fine. Quiet at least. Staff was good.

Our room had a few housekeeping issues but nothing I couldn’t fix on my own. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool was a great little bonus. Also took advantage of the outdoor seating area.

This property needs a major makeover. The curtains are filthy as are the carpets.

Overall I had no complaint with the property itself. I was extremely disappointed to learn the breakfast nook was closed, due to the lack of a chef. The breakfast option was one of the factors determining my stay at this particular property. We were offered cold take breakfast which was not at all appetizing. The one carafe of coffee was terrible.

They upgraded us to larger room because we had 2 bikes we wanted to bring inside and a room on ground floor with a patio. It was great. Betty cooked us a delicious breakfast. Outdoor Pool was clean and open long hours. Thank you. We'll be back

There was no hot breakfast.

When I arrived I was told that the chef is taking a day off, so the boxed breakfast would be provided instead. That was not ok, especially since I booked through Booking.com, and the option with breakfast was more expensive. Yet the guy at the front desk said that breakfast was not an expected included service anyway (seriously!) The only reason I took a 80 km detour was for the good quality of my stay that included breakfast last time. Also, when I asked for additional bedding for the pull out couch, he murmured something in the line of 'this is extra', and first did not even bring two sheets, I actually had to explain that one sheet is the one to sleep on and the other one is to cover yourself. The quality of bedding was poor on both the bed and the pull out couch. I can't believe how overcharged I was for the hotel that used to be so good just few years ago. They used to care about the guests.

The pool.

I liked that there was an outdoor swimming pool. I didn't like that the carpet looked so old, yet I understand the cost to replace is significant to the hotel and it would be inconvenient to both the hotel and it's guests.

Pillows were very very worn, Room smelled like mold with signs of mold on the ceiling and wall. AC not working properly, Air inside room was very moist. Lack of towels in the room Paid for 2 days, Could not handle one more night. No refund

I found the room clean but very humid. Even though the air conditioning was on full it was still very damp in the room.

I love the wall to wall counter space in the bathroom, the water pressure was excellent. You are able to watch you tube on the TV, the room is spacious enough though not the most spacious I have been in.

House keeping service for room was poor. We had to ask them daily for towels and change the garbage ourselves and give it to the front desk, we had to ask for more toiletries including toilet paper. The sign was showing "Make up room" nobody made up the room.

It was just ok. Needs updating, shower curtain was ripped, tub could use a scrubbing. Coffee had no flavour, no decaf available. Didn’t try breakfast! Would I stay there again, probably not, unless it cost like half of what we paid.

Safe, clean, great staff

We loved the proximity to beaches and stores. The gentleman at the front desk who we dealt with primarily was excellent, kind, helpful, and easily the best part of our stay. We were a little bit concerned with cleanliness. We found some strange hairs (photo below) in our bed and noticed a pest control man heading in as we were heading out. Otherwise excellent!

The outdoor pool was absolutely amazing!!! Our queen beds were super comfortable and made for a very relaxing stay. Definitely will be returning for another stay soon.

Great place to stay

Room was decently clean and accommodations were available (fridge, microwave, shower, iron).

Arrived and there was no bar soap in the bathroom. Front desk staff provided three once requested. The property is dated. Cleaniless was okay - streaky mirrors and shower stall. No breakfast included in the price which was disappointing. Paid $270 for one night. Limited hotel options in Simcoe. You get what you get in small towns. We grabbed Tim Hortons on the way out for breakfast options. Couldn't use the hotel restaurant as it opened at 7 a.m.

Stayed for a wedding, only complaints was couldnt accomadate early check in which made everything rushed. Especially since rooms were blocked for this wedding

Clean, quiet and spacious room. Very friendly front desk staff. On the other hand call centre staff are uninformed and told me the property was sold out when it wasn’t.

We always stay here when we visit my mother in-law and always have a great stay here.

You people are scammers nowhere on the app did it say that I’d be paying you $250 security deposit on my credit card for which it takes five business days to get back which could end up being two weeks with weekends and holidays this is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Why not just at least offer to pay cash that way you’d get it back the next day I cannot afford to keep spending $250 every night while I’m travelling in the hopes I’ll get it back in two weeks that adds up the bills on my credit card. This is a total scam
