Personnel peu souriant. Arrivés a 14 hrs mais pour obtenir notre chambre avant 15:30 hrs , nous devions payer un supplément que nous avons refusé Nous avions roulé près de 500 kms et nous aurions apprécié d'obtenir notre chambre plus tôt .

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Room was very clean and comfortable. Location was good on the main street of Brossard, Taschereau Boulevard, close to the REM and Quebec highways 10 and 30.
Our assigned, room was not ready when we got there, maid was still working on it, we had to go back to the front desk to switch to another room. Room was fine but I do not know why they put us in the basement, also the AC was so high up on the wall we could not reach the controls.

Il y a uncontenant pour la récupétion :pas vraiment certain qu'on récupère surtout au déjeuner . Ce n'est très écologique !!! Surcharge pour le Stationnement pour laisser l"auto dans le stationnement alors qu'on avait une réservation pour laq nuit suivante .

Breakfast area and rooms are of different buildings. It was raining during our visit so it's not convenient to go between the breakfast area and the rooms. Air conditioner is very loud.

And being told ALL hotels do that even if they don’t tell you, they just add it to your bill. 😂 we checked out at 9 the next morning, and if it had been the same fellow as it was at check in, I would have jokingly said do we get Monet back for early check out? The young fellow at check out was very nice.

The breakfast was a typical Canadian breakfast with a good variety of options, and it was a nice way to start the day. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.
The main downside is the location. Public transportation is quite far from the property, so having a car is almost essential if you want to get around and explore the area. Without a vehicle, it can be a bit inconvenient.

La climatisation est ultra bruyante et le taux d'humidité dans la chambre est vraiment inconfortable. Le fer à repasser laisse couler l'eau de partout. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits et les deux matins suivants nous avons été réveillés par un membre du personnel qui entrait pour faire la chambre à 9h malgré l'affiche ne pas déranger placée sur la poignée le 2e matin.

Minor point was no lift, so had to carry bags up stairs, but only two floors, so not really a problem

Other guests on the floor were incredibly noisy (even into the early morning), but I do not fault Econolodge for the behavior of unruly teenagers. The room did have a little bit of a musty smell though, likely from a leak somewhere damaging your floors or something similar. The AC unit was rather noisy and woke us up a few times in the night as well, but I eventually got used to it

Renovierungsarbeiten, daher am Gang viel Schmutz und Lärm,, viele Bauarbeiter, anderseits irgendwann müssen Sie ja renovieren. also alles gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und frisch renoviert, mit einen Whirlpool aber ein wenig ungewöhnlich wie im Keller aber mit Fenster.
