Proximity to where I visiting. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Restaurant/bar staff were friendly.

Don't get caught out by the parking app signs in the car park. If you pay in the hotel it's cheaper. The lady who checked us in seemed to find it funny that we'd already paid and paid more at that, "Oh well you'll know for next time" was the response. No lift to the upper floors and a room that was so far from reception it might as well have been in a different postcode, not ideal when you're travelling with heavy/lots of bags. Ordered breakfast to the room, the service charge on the door hanger was one price, we got charged more and it was non negotiable. The breakfast was cold and everything was very salty.

The food was absolutely amazing. I thought it was pricey for a chain hotel but it was defo worth it! They swimming facilities were nice and clean as was the room

The milkshakes, they were very disappointing after such a good meal and were pricey at £10 a pop. I would avoid them. The shower in the room had very little pressure. Still usable but not great

Hotel bardzo fajny, piękne patio w środku, bardzo przytulnie i ładnie. Pokój wystarczający, czysto i było wszystko co potrzeba. Na miejscu śniadanie oraz czynna restauracja i kilka ciekawych propozycji do skosztowania. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Na miejscu duży, wygodny parking. W okolicy po drugiej stronie sklep spożywczy. Dalej od centrum miasteczka, więc tylko jazda autem wskazana, ale dla nas to nie robiło różnicy.

Niestety basen nie był dostępny, mimo że na stronie była informacja o dacie zakończenia remontu, natomiast na miejscu okazało się, że data się przesunęła - szkoda, bo jakimś tam kryterium była możliwość skorzystania z tej strefy rekreacji.

Great location for what we needed -was clean, bright and airy with lovely public areas and some interesting artwork. Good outdoor space and friendly staff. Breakfast was really good with a calm , quiet atmosphere and plenty of choices which were replenished well. Staff at breakfast were ‘on it’ and worked hard and discretely to make sure serving areas were restocked, clean and cleared away quickly.

Strongly object to the £7.50 parking charge - can’t see the need for this at all given you have to park when visiting. Just profiteering.

It was the perfect location for us to visit family in the area. As the weather was hot it was great to have air conditioning. We enjoyed using the gym and pool. Breakfast was good but some additional gluten free options would have made it even better.

We were unaware of the car parking charge until we arrived so £7.50 for the night was a bit steep. Also a new checking in system and recently been introduced which resulted in queues at check-in. The poor reception staff did really well

Clean and fresh - room and facilities very inviting. The room in particular was clean, roomy and very comfortable.

Pool was closed and other work going on which was not anticipated. Parking charges are annoying when this is not a city centre hotel. Customer service was not what is expected from an IHG hotel.

The rooms are comfy and far from noise . The breakfast is above expectations. The staff has been very cooperative , although in the end they could not avoid giving us rooms a bit distant from reception. We had requested that we could walk as little as possible.

As said the distance from reception of the room. This property seems quite modern but does not have a lift to upper floors, making it quite difficult for the Management to satisfy requests like ours.

The staff were very helpful under stressful conditions with power cuts, and always polite. Breakfast was good, however prices were a little high. The room was comfortable but the furniture seemed a little strange and some of it's positioning.

The Bathroom design seemed lacking. Access to toilet paper was quite difficult for people with restricted mobility and the spare roll where it could get splashed was poor. The kettle is in a restricted space and I splashed myself a couple of times.

We stayed here for the night to break up a journey from Legoland. The staff were excellent. The food was just what the doctor ordered. The whole experience was really good.

Extra charge for car park, pool was out of action, appalling service in the restaurant considering we were a large group who would all have ordered desserts but got bored waiting for anyone to appear 😢

Breakfast menu and options did not consider Vegan diets, although I'm sure staff would be happy to advise it's sometimes difficult to get their attention during a busy service, so it would be much easier if the menu or buffet areas clearly marked vegan options.

The hotel was very comfortable, the bed was really big and very comfortable. The was very large on the ground floor. The Breakfast was really good with lots to choose from. It was near to 2 National trust properties we hadn't been to before.

Cancelled my booking 20 minutes before I got there after a 5 hour drive. Staff lied to me.

Location, the food in the restaurant was absolutely superb. The gym and pool facility was super great to have available and the outdoor area was fantastic 😍

Shower over the bath was slippery and also the toilet roll location you need to be a contortionist to teach.

Refurbished to a high quality. Great attention to allergies: I’m gluten free , they were really diligent in how my breakfast and lunch were prepared.

Have stayed here on afew occasions when visiting my daughter, always find it to be comfortable, good value, very clean and a great breakfast although this time there was a charge of £7.50 for parking which was free the last time we booked, but even with that it's still good value for money, and I suppose it gives you piece of mind that you can park outside the hotel so not really a issue and as the guy on reception pointed out some places charge a lot more . so all in all a great stay in lovely surroundings,would give it an 11 if I could so thank you and keep up the great work, and will definitely be back 😃

We were told there was a pool but it was very small and had lanes for lane swimming. Also the jacuzzi was terrible and worked in a low mode when it felt like it and was very small.Never again would I go there.

Comfy bed and pillows, good size room and bathroom. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff friendly.

The carpet in room was heavily stained, no fridge or hairdryer which would bother me if I stayed longer than one night. Have to pay for parking?

England game was televised and whilst the bar was full they closed at regular time, without notice, and left a large number of people still looking to purchase drinks whilst watching the game very unhelpful for guests

Very clean, lots of parking, very helpful staff, good breakfast, comfy large bed and cool room when it was very hot outside. Also a lovely outside seating area.

Nothing to dislike really. Maybe free parking for anyone staying overnight would be good ( but then the car park would be packed so I prefer to pay and have space to park) Could have a minibar in the room and a lift to the first floor rooms to make it perfect. None of these bothered me and I would definitely stay again.

Reception staff were imperious and unhelpful. Paid parking - why? Evening meals didn't represent value for money. Automatic service charge on meals.

Staff were extra helpful keeping my swimsuit I'd left behind. Also at breakfast reminding us of timings and in the pool explaining new locker system. Hotel welcoming and comfortable. Air conditioning was very helpful in the hot weather.

The only small thing was the window catch was a little loose. I forgot to mention at the time but I am sure it would be fixed quickly. It didn't really affect our stay.

This hotel has been refurbished so everything feels modern ,new and very on brand. There is a really nice outside courtyard area as well as bar and restaurant. Although there is a large car park sadly there is now a daily charge of £7.50 which to be honest I only expect to pay for in city centre hotels. It is on a busy junction so getting in and out can take longer at certain times due to heavy traffic. The food was very good but not value for money a bottle of wine and only one course each and we were not far off £100. The staff are very efficient but not particularly engaging. Would stay here again.

We were travelling with a one year old baby and I had indicated this while booking the room. They had prepared a sofa bed for the baby instead of a travel cot and the receptionist suggested that this would be OK which seemed really strange to me. We did have our own travel cot with us, so I didn't ask them to provide one for us at that point. Also, the receptionist did not take time to provide info on facilities etc - just gave a sheet of paper with the hotel information. It just seemed rushed and not welcomed. The room smelled bad and the sofa side table was dirty. Seems quite ridiculous to have a paid parking at this location.

We absolutely love this hotel! I booked this a second time after I enjoyed my first stay here for my birthday in may I then decided to book again for my boyfriends birthday and it was absolutely brilliant just as expected! We stayed 2 nights this time. We will definitely be back soon! we especially love the pool, jacuzzi and steam room! We love how welcoming and friendly all the staff are that we've met. Unfortunately we were given the wrong room key upon checking in and ended up in a room that already had someone in but it was really quickly sorted out! We were then given a voucher for a free drink or snack which I thought was very kind, I believe it to be the same man also gave my boyfriend one too as a kind gesture because it was my boyfriends birthday! Valkaire I believe her name is? The Ukrainian lady. She is honestly the loveliest person we've ever met, she's so kind, very easy to talk to and just goes above and beyond. The bed was comfy and the room was very spacious! We had a view of the seating area this time which I thought was nice.

The bath is very hard to get out of with it being so steep, it's very slippery! The noise in the corridor was really bad in the early hours of Friday morning. I was woken up at 2am by 2 people shouting outside our room door and then continuous slamming of doors for about 10 minutes! The noise is literally the only problem! Everything else is perfect nothing can be faulted at all. I just wish people staying in the rooms had a bit of respect for the other people around them in the other rooms.

Nice outdoor bar / dining area. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent positioning of bedroom wall sockets and USB connectivity . Excellent breakfast .

The young Ukranian girl behind the desk (sorry I don't recall her name) was fantastic. Super helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble and she is a credit to the organisation.

So clean, spotless, great pool but mainly the staff. I’ve been to numerous Holiday bc Inns and the staff have always been helpful and well trained, however the personal at Aylesbury were exemplary. Nothing too much trouble and done willingly with a smile and not definitely in that “have a good day” style. Real genuine people. Not just reception but down to housekeeping, waitressing etc., remarkable group of people and hats off to Raj as well.

Have been going to this hotel for years and have always enjoyed our visits the staff are great and the rooms are nice and clean. I am a Priority Club Member and booked for a Friday night, I spoke to a lady to make the booking. When checking in the girl said “ it’s £7-50 for parking “ !!!!!!!!!. We have never been charged for parking ever. Does not being a priority member mean anything to the Holiday Inn ? I will never return to this hotel until the parking charges are dropped. Absolutely disgusted.

Beds could have been more comfortable

We had a wonderful experience with the receptionist Raj, we had accidentally booked our room for october and he was very kind to help us get a room for when we actually meant to book. I wasn’t too impressed with the restaurant, however everything else was very good

The friendly service from check-in to check-out

The Menu for the restaurant could be better presented and clearer. No mention for Caelacs on menu so had to put an order in for food on an allergy card and then see if you could have it.

The room was spacious, looking out over the grounds, very quiet and very comfortable

Do not stay there, Latte is Luke warm you will get much better value at Premier inn.

Room booked for 3 people. We were provided with 2 mugs , 2 towels. 2 tea bags. Everything was just 2.. 1 KitKat chocolate with 2 fingers left in the room. How do we divide this between.3. It was very snnoying

The room was perfect for my requirements. The staff were all very polite and professional, in fact the lady on reception went above and beyond in my opinion, she did a great job of tracking down my IHG membership details - thank you for doing that. Nice, well stocked bar and very good restaurant. I had a light lunch, dinner and breakfast; they were all very good, wholesome and tasty. Easy to checkout. Parking is unnecessarily pricey, but other than that, just about perfect.

Additional bar staff on such a busy evening (England's World Cup quarter final) would have been helpful. Black pudding at breakfast would be nice. Parking cost should be reduced.

We had a great stay for 2 nights then came back a week later and stayed another week it was very central for us as a base.

Cleanliness, location and facilities

Arrival male staff member was curt, , ruined the ambiance for me, and left me feeling very disappointed with the welcome, he didn't say anything wrong, but, it was his tone and manner. Not friendly. However the male staff member who was on in the morning made up for his colleague, he could learn a thing or 2 from him, ie how to smile and be nice!
